Techs are fantastic and professional. cannot say the same for corporate. They arbitrarily change teams and policies all while not informing their clients. Even their Techs are the last to know. Get it together corporate, you are making the company look bad.

Hired them for service at our apartment complex and they did a wonderful job. We will be switching our monthly contracted service to them when our current one expires.

No call no show for scheduled inspection. Still no response after 40 hours (past the 2 hour time window), a voicemail, and an online customer feedback form. Update: I was contacted shortly after leaving the review above. The inspector that came out was polite and professional. He gave quality insight and a helpful report. He's the reason I changed the review from 1 to 4 stars. Price was high.

We feel Orkin is the best pest control company. Very pleased with our service.

Well weather was stormy, snow-rain mix. Employee knocked on door stayed won't recommend spray due to weather but stated he could put down pellets. I agreed and told him how to get around yard due to know to get around yard as new fence was up. However, he did not leave side yard....shook our pellets & left! If I'm paying for quarterly service.....should I nor get more than that kind of service? And/or not at least be rescheduled?

Earl provides excellent seasonal service in mountain subdivision with snow often still on ground in June!

My technician Tom seemed genuinely interested in taking care of my pest issues. Knowledgable too. Worked hard, above and beyond actually, and took the time to make sure all corners and crevices were treated.

They did a great job communicating and making sure the house was buttoned up from rodents and bugs.

This was great service by Earl. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information about the treatment and the plan going forward. I also loved their system of getting in touch through emails and texts about the timing of the visit. Overall this was a very nice experience so far, and if the treatment works as planned, it will be perfect.

So far, I am not too thrilled that I have switched pests companies and chosen to go with Orkin. Very friendly technician on my 1st service. However, I'm not entirely sure what the technician did when he was here. I pointed out webs in areas that were problem spots, yet once he left, I noticed very few webs were removed. I took it upon myself to finish the job. A week later, he returned, but 2 hours before the scheduled time we had agreed on. No big deal, just miscommunication, I guess. I told him my concern about the webs not being knocked down. He told me he would do better this time. Again, I pointed out webs that needed to be removed and my concern that I had not seen any dead spiders around my property but that I had seen a lot MORE very active spiders. Unfortunately, just like the week prior, the webs I pointed out were not removed. The tech put down a granule to help kill the multiple spiders I was seeing and left within minutes. He told me he would call me within a week. A week later, I received a service report in my email stating that my service was complete. That service supposedly was a phone call on July 15th. I never received any phone call from Orkin on July 15th, so I'm not sure why this false service report was created and emailed to me. I will give it more time and then update my review, hopefully, to five stars in 30 days when Orkin returns. I am not seeing that many dead bugs around the perimeter of my house, but fortunately, I am seeing less webs now THAT I HAVE KNOCKED THEM DOWN! I'm paying way too much money to have to do the work myself. 2 stars for now since the service was friendly, just not thorough.

Andrea was nice and helpful, it will take time to get rid of the pests but everyone I talked to was friendly and made everything easy.

Called to get an estimate. The person I spoke with was extremely pushy and condescending. When I said I would be reaching out to multiple companies to compare as I always do with home services, he suddenly found a discount to offer me and told me that their prices were the same as everyone else’s within a few dollars and you just couldn’t beat the quality, then compared it to getting a can of tuna from multiple grocery stores and how some is just better quality and those few extra dollars don’t make a difference (???). Very uncomfortable. Ended up going with a local company who gave me a better price without a lecture, just talked to me like a normal person.

Kirill is always here on time and asks if we've had any issues with pests or bugs. Always very informative.

Orkin has taken care of my home before. The spraying they do has prevented any kind of infestation by ants since I first had them come out. The various field agents who have done the spraying have always been both timely and polite. The only glitch this round (in September of 2023,) was that the field agent — who most likely did a fine job — neglected to send me a text message indicating that his work had been completed, which I had asked him to do. ( I generally prefer not to be at home when the house is being treated. The courtesy of a text message from the Orkin Field Agent just confirms that that the job has been completed and that it's safe for me to return home...)

Really like Orkin services they are very professional and dependable. My dogs can usually go back out side a hour or so after the service. Very pleased

Have used these folks for years in the Truckee area. We even took them with us when we moved across town! Always polite, courteous, and on time. Good at communicating too. I like that they text me when they’re going to show up. We’ve literally had 3 different service guys over the years and all have been great! Earl is our current guy and just like the others, easy to deal with and personable. Whether it’s carpenter ants, mice, bats, or whatever else they can take care of it. They also make sure to keep your pets safe as well. Highly recommended.

I appreciate the service we have received from Orkin. Your technicians are wonderful. However due to the distance between our home and your office, it can be challenging to schedule. I wish you had a local office, but we are managing to work together a long distance. So far….

*changing rating** Officially 2-4 months into service with orkin and I have mixed feelings. Our assigned pest guy, nick, is awesome. 10/10 service from him. But now 3 months later, I have developed a huge issue inside my house and orkin is either not picking up the phone or just swamped in issues. I’ve called them every other day for over a week(different hours). Every time i stayed on hold for about 30 minutes or even up to 1hour and 45minutes before deciding to leave a voicemail. Even if you leave them 3 voicemails over the course of a week, they DO NOT call you back. Today, July 17th, I decided to try calling them but this time I pressed 1(meaning you are a new customer) and they picked up within 5 minutes… and said they will get someone to call me in 24-48 hours with a new schedule. Seems a little odd they don’t pick up unless you are a new customer..

We had a pest issue that needed to be addressed immediately and Orkin was able to schedule us same day. Our tech showed up and was able to explain exactly what was going on with our pest issue and immediately begin a treatment application. 5 stars for braving 100 degree+ heat to take care of our pest issues. Extremely grateful for your help.

We are having bug issues so we called Orkin and the sent out Chris, he was very professional and knowledgeable but besides that, he is a very nice person, he answered all our questions and took as much time as he needed so that we were happy. I've been using this service for many years, and I'm never disappointed. The techs are great communicators. I'm always notified of their arrival dates/ times well in advance and that day of. I've had my home for 15 years and NEVER have a pest issue.

I was having my wedding on our large property in less than 48 hours and had an Orkin competitor out to spray for mosquitos. The treatment didnt work as we were all still being eaten alive by mosquitos so in a panic I called Orkin and John came out that same day and sprayed and managed to get them all! I didnt hear of not even one of our more than 200 guests complain of a mosquito bite. John from Orkin literally saved our wedding day!!!

Jason and now Josh have both been wonderful. Always on time, available for extra pest control when needed, very friendly. They have a good knowledge of their products and recommend without pushing and giving me a sales pitch. I've been using Orkin for over a year now and there are no insects in my home (other than the few flying that get let in when I open the door - oh and Orkin has solutions to help mitigate those as well). I've been very happy with my Orkin service. There are a few other local services that charge a little less, but I get such great, personalized service, I have no desire to switch.

Always a great thorough job and they know not to bother knocking to lmk they are here, that I prefer they just start (I’m always in meetings so can’t come to the door). That’s great service!

Didn’t see an improvement on bugs. I was told the service would include fly treatment. The tech finished up and said the next guy that comes out will do it. So no fly treatment. Texted guy that signed me up. No response. Called for service and spoke with agent but no one scheduled a visit. Won’t use Orkin.

Gary is absolutely the best service tech. Kind, efficient, thorough, polite, knowledgeable and prompt when responding to questions.

Ernie is an excellent service person who is knowledgeable and accommodating. I have spoken with the manager with Orkin several times about my schedule and prefer to get my service done on the weekends. Several associates, including the manager, ensured me this was noted in my chart, but management did not follow up. It is inconvenient for Orkin to automatically send you an appointment time the day before with a two-hour service window, and then you have to call to reschedule. Luckily when Ernie is a scheduled technician, he checks and sees if the appointment time works.

Our service technician (Gary) is professional and courteous. He is very thorough, he answers any questions I have and takes care of any issues that come up.

The initial visit was good, got to walk around with the specialist and talked through the issues and come up with a solution…. Since then however, I haven’t received a status update, but some of the issues have been resolved.

I moved into my new home March 23, 2022 and started my relationship with Orkin on March 25, 2022 due to an infestation of roaches. The problem was addressed aggressively and I am roach free. I will be loyal for a lifetime and trust any direction given. Now we are addressing an Ant problem and I have full confidence that the t will be handled expeditiously.

Always on time and they take their time to make sure the job is done right. Ever since I started using Orkin I’ve had way less pests both inside and outside the house. Highly recommend, and out Pest Control Technician Christopher Boe is super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better tech.

Since changing from a local person, our service window has been missed and the bug problem has actually gotten worse. With White Line (former business) we never had ants in the house. And now after switching to Orkin, we have ants in the house. Not sure what we’re paying for at this point.

After discovering termites inside a closet at my Grandma's house I called two different companies to come out and give an estimate to take care of the problem. Orkin was the second one to come out, and I am so glad we decided to go with them. The Orkin estimate was a little more than the first company. The professionalism of Royce who came out to do the inspection and free estimate is what assured me they were the ones I wanted to do the job. Royce took the time to answer all of my questions, and explained in detail why they wanted to do all of the stated things in the estimate. He was very thorough, and this gave me the confidence I could trust him to do things right. The first company spent far to much time trying to sell me a price, and this gave them no value in my mind. Royce showed me the value above all else. Saul and his crew came out a week later and completed all the work. They went above and beyond in taking the time to cleanup inside and outside. Saul also took the time as soon as I arrived at my Grandma's to walk around with me and explain exactly what all they would be doing, as well as go over a few changes. I could tell it was important to him to be able to explain it all to me, and I certainly appreciated it. Saul and his crew definitely take pride in their work, and these are the types of people you want when it comes to something so important as taking care of termites is. Don't hesitate to give the folks at Orkin a call, I can't possibly think of any reason you would be disappointed for having them take care of any pests issue.

Service is provided every 3 months. Geery is my service provider. He pays attention to detail. He always answers any questions or concerns I may have. He is the best!! I have been with this company approximately 5 years.

We tried two different pest control companies before hearing of Orkin when we first bought our house a few years back as we were surprised by an insane amount of roaches when we picked up the keys to our new home. Neither of those two companies was able to get rid of the problem and they just kept coming! Then a friend recommended Orkin and told us that they were the main company that services hospitals. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bug at a hospital so they must be great, I thought! They were able to get the service done quickly and get rid of the roaches entirely!! Our Orkin representative, Jason Petersen, has been the same pro that does our routine service for the entire time and I can’t even begin to tell you how great he is!! Jason is one of the friendliest persons my husband or myself have ever met. He is very professional, thorough, answers our requests very quickly and is always willing to help in any way possible! Don't think dude even went in the patio to spray like they usually do, but may be good he didn't. I watched him from my camera fill up the sprayer with water from my hose. Hope he was just diluting and not charging me for my own water I already pay for by the gallon. The female tech always does amazing. Sadly, I don't get her every time. He did check the rat bait like i asked when he called yesterday so I guess I'll give him 2 stars.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. They were only supposed to spray certain areas downstairs as the letter stated, but they decided themselves to spray upstairs ALL OVER MY CLEAN CLOTHES AND CHILDREN'S TOYS. All my packaged goods I took out of my cabinets and put in my living room was soaking wet with spray completely unacceptable I have little children literally everything upstairs was sprayed over and soaking wet. Hopefully my clothes are not ruined or someone will be receiving a phone call about this because it is absolutely unacceptable. Came home hours after like they said and my floors are soaking wet with sticky smelly stuff my children had to leave because they started choking when they came inside the smell was so bad.

Jason is always thorough and makes sure my home is pest and rodent free. My family and I appreciate the care and professionalism that he always shows.

I liked the service they did applying pesticide around the house, changing the insect trapper sheets in garage, filling the pressured pesticides into the wall and the attitude of the Employee who made the visit.

Knows their business well and their pest control very effective against a myriad of pests. Only negative is they haven’t fixed our Taexx system on the right side of our house. Hope they come and fix it soon.

Your pest control service is usually great, but I’m unsure why you schedule service when it’s raining cats and dogs. Every pesticide you just laid down got washed away. Wouldn’t it be smarter to postpone service until your chemicals can actually do what they’re supposed to? Seems like a weather induced money grab….

I canceled this service 4 months ago and a service technician showed up to my house today and did the service. Orkin makes it impossible to cancel the service every single phone number goes to their main customer service automated line and then they say they're busy leave a message. I want the service canceled and they refuse to do it so now I'm going to have to get an attorney

Ernie did a thorough job spraying the exterior of our home for insects, cleaning under the eaves and placing rodent traps around the house and sticky traps in the garage. I highly recommend Orkin for comprehensive pest and rodent control.

We use Orkin for our pest control needs. Nick calls ahead of time, shows up, and does his job. He is always in uniform, which is clean, and neat. He always gives me a report on the pest situation, and cleans all of the cobwebs I can't reach myself. I even asked him to look into the paper wasp problem in my roof gables. He sprayed the nests, and the problem has been gone ever since. This company is professional, on time, and does excellent work. I highly recommend their services.

Worst customer service! They never come out on the same day, week or time of the month. When I called them to ask why i was told the techs don’t get their schedule until the night prior and they cannot set routine service times. Really? They also have not sprayed my back yard in 3 months. Customer service is rude and they are overpriced

We are paying a lot of money every month, as well as an even much larger amount when we signed up, and our pest problem is only getting worse. The only thing Orkin is doing is placing traps, which we have been doing on our own before hiring them, and we still continue to do. Our traps are way better than the ones Orkin uses. We use electric traps, which have caught and continue to catch several rats. Orkin's old fashion traps have caught a total of ZERO rats so far. We have also recently started using poison pellets on our own, and we're expecting to get better results from that. I am going to give Orkin one more month, and if they continue to fail to deliver any results, they're fired.

I had orkin for almost 2 years. I moved in January and the guy said no problem it will get moved over to the new house and will still only cost $99 for as needed service. So i called in today to get someone here. Spoke with a guy named Ken who told me it would be double what i was told originally. I feel lied to. And when ken tried to explain it he was very condescending. Said he will make sure the person who said it gets training. (He has no idea who said it)so.... its bs that the salesman tried to jack my price around when im already a customer. Horrible customer service and retention.
