We recently discovered a small hole in our in our roof and a friend recommended Valentine Roofing. Chris showed up to give us the estimate and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! He walked me through all the steps of replacing a roof and what they had to offer with true professionalism. Not once did I feel pressured. We also had multiple other companies come out to give us quotes. We ultimately decided that Valentine was the right choice for us and just signed the contract. Anyone that is in the market for a new roof should definitely reach out to this group as they have lots of great things to offer and their prices are reasonable.

My landlord had this company come out to check the attic space due to leak in adjoining apartment. The guy was on time, pleasant to talk with, seemed knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He was careful getting up thru the small opening and very mindful of where he put his feet. He cleaned up after himself. He was aware and mindful of my time constraints. He was very efficient. A very pleasant experience!

Don't know his name but our guy was very courteous, friendly & respectful. Clicked "Service not listed" because he did annual maintenance; not any repairs or installation(s). A little pricey for less than 30 minutes work!

Chuck Lyter is a wealth of roofing information. He came out to bid our 1914 built home and identified several issues well beyond just replacing the shingles.

Boni came to out to fix an unconnected fan exhaust vent. He noticed right away that the vent cover was incorrect. He immediately went onto the roof and then finished up in the attic. He was a pleasure to work with in this job. He explained very well what the problem was in the attic. He fixed it in a timely manner, and then he explained what he did to correct the problem.

Should have done this two years ago. We had so much moss and debris built up. Also pointed out things on the roof that we need to address. Crew worked fast and left the jobsite spotless. Even cleaned off a small deck that I didn't ask them to clean. Great service and attention to detail.

I had a great experience with David coming out to look at my roof and giving me an estimate and going through all of the materials and how the process will be done. I feel their price was very reasonable compared to other bids that I got. I would recommend other people taking a look at this company when considering a new roof

He came out for an estimate on my downspouts and cleared out all th gunk on my roof. Even set up a temp draining downspout all without being asked. Truly wonderful and caring.

We had our new roof installed the beginning of November and we can’t say enough about the service Valentine roofing gave us. From the very beginning when we called for a quote we had no hesitation to hire them. Our salesman Alex Salazar, was exceptional and just “down to earth” friendly. He guided us through the process and always called back if we had questions. He is now getting us new gutters to complete the look. Valentine Roofing just replaced our roof and we’re very pleased with our new roof and confident in the quality of the work. They used top-quality, modern materials including Titanium X30 synthetic underlayment and Owens Corning SureNail shingles. From start to finish, the entire team was outstanding: Estimator Chuck, Project Coordinator Rochelle, Project Manager Hunter, and Crew Foreman Allan were all professional, responsive with great communications and genuinely pleasant to work with. Chuck was awesome. He came out to do a free inpsection of the roof to gauge if it was a leak or not. The unit is a rental and I live out of state. After inspection he determined that he was unable to service the issue that I had, but sent a bunch of pictures with explanation of what my next move should be. I appreciated his communication and candor. Would recommend for sure.

Great experience overall, appreciated the customer service and patience from the person who originally came out to give us a bid (shout-out to Chuck) as we took a year to finally decide (and save enough money) for our complete roof replacement project with requests for multiple changes during the estimate process. They were easy to work with and lots of clear communication. We had a full roof replacement plus gutters/ downspouts. I only wish it was made a little more clear that we needed a separate company to come in and help us with our soffits afterwards so we could have planned that additional expense better. Overall though Valentine has clearly earned their reputation and we are happy to have used them. It's unfortunately a lot of money to spend but as an investment to our home we are glad we went with a company with their level of service, communication, and feel we can trust the work that was done was to the highest standard in the industry. The service that Valentine Roofing is outstanding! We purchased our roof a few years ago. During that time we had a couple issues. They resolved it promptly with great customer service. Inexperienced or purposefully misleading estimators. 1. Had my roof replaced two years ago. Valentine was one of 7 to bid. Ended up choosing another company because they were 50% more expensive than the average cost. Part of this is due to excess parts oversells: they wanted to use iso barrier across my entire roof due to a 4/12 pitch not being steep enough. 2. The company I work for installs skylights. One of their estimators took a video explaining how our install on a client‘s house was incorrect. This estimator was quoting install instructions for a competing product with a different install process. To compound matters, the Estimator walked on a section of roof in need of rework. Upon the next rain, a massive leak formed inside the clients house.

Update! We had a seal issue with our solo tube, Boni went above and beyond to address the issue. Thanks, Boni! These guys are amazing! Chuck Lyter is super knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process answering all of our questions when he came out to do our estimate. Jenna was a fabulous Experience Manage and Efrain and Carol's team were exceptional! The experience was smooth and fast, they did such a fantastic job, we referred them to our neighbors and they did one of their houses a week after ours was completed. Thank you Valentine!!

Danny and his team did a great job of completing the replacement of our roof/shingles. They were excellent at even finishing earlier than what the estimate for completion. If I had to do it all over again, I would use Valentine Roofing again.

We have semi-annual roof cleaning service for the roof Valentine installed - the crew is always courteous, professional, and thorough. They take notes on a few unique aspects of our house, so whoever shows up is prepared and doesn't need to start from scratch.

Purchased new holiday lights and install. Install was done very well, after install, the next day one of the bulbs on new lights was already out. Need to call to get replaced. Called customer service and they promptly replaced dead bulb.

Everyone involved in the re-roofing, from original quote to completion of the project, was professional, responsive, and polite. Communications regarding the timing of the project, and updates as the project progressed were great.

Hassle free Christmas light installation. Job was scheduled quickly. I would prefer that the light bulbs used are brighter. I also would like a fancier timer. The one installed is a simple sleep timer.

The service itself was fine, but I was misled by the pricing. The estimate was unclear — I thought it covered the annual service, not an additional high “initial visit” charge that was more than twice the regular rate. They invoiced me $965 for gutter, roof, and dryer vent cleaning that took a two-person team about 40 minutes. The customer service team was responsive and offered a partial adjustment, but it didn’t fully address my concern. I will likely investigate another provider in the future. It’s unfortunate because the service quality and team were professional. The real issue is the confusing pricing structure and an excessively high initial visit fee.

The whole re-roof experience with Valentine Roofing was WONDERFUL. I was extremely pleased with Project Estimator Brendan Miller, who had come recommended to me by my neighbor who recently had his house re-roofed by Valentine, and suggested that I contact Brendan specifically. Brendan came out and did a complete and thorough inspection and made recommendations to get the most value and work done for my project, which is a 91 year old house and garage with a 30 year old roof. He also impressed me by actually writing up the estimate while at my house, utilizing his in-van mobile office. He was personable and yet very professional. I was very impressed. The Project/Experience Manager, Jenna Esteves was in touch with me quickly and was SUPER to deal with. She kept me updated on all aspects and updates preceeding, during and after the project; by phone, text and email. She was willing to deal with a couple of scheduling issues and answered all of my questions with professional and friendly responses, and never left me wondering about anything. She was very patient and helpful with me, and it is greatly appreciated. The Construction Site Manager/Crew Chief was Danny Machado. He and his crew of 5 did a WONDERFUL job and worked very hard and very quickly, finishing my project in only 2 (long) work days. I was so pleased that the job got finished before the rains started. Danny and his crew were GREAT and easy to work with. They all knew their assigned tasks and did them well, demonstrating excellent teamwork. I was very impressed with Danny and his entire crew for their hard work and excellent quality of workmanship. They are all great guys, too. In all, I could NOT BE MORE PLEASED! My new roof is beautiful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND all of the Valentine Roofing Team for their EXCELLENT efforts, work and finished product. I have used Valentine Roofing for the last 4 years for holiday lighting. Each year the ease of scheduling, maintaining and installing their lighting has been improved upon. My only wish is that they also did roof peaks rather than just the roof line.

We hired Valentine Roofing in 2022 to fix a roof spot where a squirrel was getting in. They charged $3,000 with a 5-year warranty. Now the squirrel is back in the exact same spot (I witnessed this). When I reached out to their “warranty” department, they only communicate by text—there’s no way to speak to a person. They sent a technician who took photos, which were compared to the original photos, but from completely different angles, making any fair comparison impossible. Their team still concluded the repair wasn’t at fault, which is clearly wrong, and obviously in their favor. Between the failed repair and frustrating lack of real customer service, this has been extremely disappointing. I would not hire Valentine Roofing again.

Valentine Roofing did a fantastic job and I'd highly recommend. From the estimation being clear and thorough to the communication from start to finish being proactive and on time and the team doing the work were thoughtful, cleaned up every day and did an overall fantastic job.

We have had two great experiences with Valentine Roofing. We had them clean out our gutters and to treat moss. The two guys that came out to do it were friendly and did a great job. They noted a missing shingle, so we had someone else come back out to look into it and he was also very friendly and knowledgeable.

I have worked with Valentine before so I chose them replace my 25 year old roof. I got 4 bids to replace my roof and they by far provided the best value for the money and saved my about $14,000.00. They were very professional and Miguel's crew left my property cleaner than it was before they came. Very much appreciate this company

On-site crew was efficient and thorough with clean-up! After the roof was installed we didn't find a speck of construction debris leftover. Definitely recommend using Valentine!

I've had the main house reroofed, and adjustable skylight. I am very pleased by the level of professionalism and communication by the company! I just got a ridge vent through Valentine Roofing. Anthony came out and gave me my quote. They were professional with folders and pictures what needed to get done for my attic ventilation. There quotes couldn’t be any more reasonable then other companies. Ask for Anthony for your quote!

During the contract negotiation I started to have to repeat myself. I was told that my “Experience Manager” would be involved to ensure the project runs smooth. From the time he took the project I could tell that he had no interest in my project,, rather, finishing my project to collect a fee. As one example, during our first conversation we discussed several things including where the 20’ dumpster would be placed along with materials. At the end there were open questions about where he could put the dumpster based off the surrounding power lines. A week later the materials arrived and were delivered in the place where the dumpster was assumed to go leaving me to think he did his job and found he couldn’t put the dumpster there. Note that they delivered them at 6:00am in violation of noise ordinance prompting frustration from my neighbors. Later that day he called to confirm the delivery, this is when he made it clear that he didn’t direct anything. The dumpster could go in the original location, he just neglected to tell the people delivering the dumpster and materials. He was surprised when I told him where the materials were delivered. At this point the project had to be pushed out due to weather and scheduling, this was fine and expected but when trying to work with the experience manager to reschedule he again, started to pressure me into an earlier date when we both work from home and would be here working during the installation, scheduling wasn’t an easy thing. He became short and rude when I wouldn’t accept his dates, this was finally moved 3 weeks out. One day later the dumpster showed up as though I was going to have a 20’ dumpster in my driveway for over 3 weeks, this was another oversight by the experience manager. Finally, we made it to the installation. The materials sat out in the rain for more than 3 weeks, shingle packets on my roof, and the plywood was not properly wrapped ruining several pieces due to rain, that they installed anyway. During the day, communication with the experience manager became so strained that I ended up telling him to stop work until I could speak with someone who knew what they were doing. During the day there were 2 instances where he had to call me back to apologize that he was wrong after claiming something was in the contract that was not. They claimed they replaced more plywood than assumed but didn’t keep any records or proof that they did this work. They claimed they replaced a piece of plywood that I had to replace myself a few years ago. After the installation reviewing the work I have concerns about the quality of the installation. There are some mis-aligned shingles and A LOT of debris on the roof, and surrounding the house. They also damaged the shingles after they were installed on the roof. One item they spoke a lot about was their cleanup after and how I wouldn’t notice they were there. I continue to find nails in my driveway to this day. I did expect this but not to this degree. It honestly seems like they are intentionally trying to cause some damage to either my tires or my foot. There were skylights involved in this project. The contract didn’t mention a second visit for the skylights, initially they claimed it did, this was one of the apologies the experience manager had to make. Instead, they had to measure it during the install and order it them. This isn’t how it was presented at bid and shows the disorganization of this company. There were about 6 weeks leading up to the construction that they could have come out and taken measurements. On top of that it took them twice as long as they said to install the new skylights. Billing and paying them has been another issue. I am on a timeline to have this paid and I can’t get people to call me back to take my money. This was a miserable experience and I only hope that this review can save a few people from hiring this absolute garbage fire of a company.

From start to finish, it was a very good experience. The salesman was up front about the whole process. No hidden surprises, very knowledgeable and answered all questions. The crew showed up on time and were very professional. They found a few repairs that needed done backed by photo's. They always asked if I wanted each repair done and informed me of the cost. The crew were all very nice. They protected all our plants and all other things around the house. They always went above and beyond what was required. They completed the roof in one day and clean up was immaculate. Our Experience Manager, John, was with the project from start to finish. He never tired of our questions and was always open to calls. He made sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs.

I highly recommend Valentine Roofing and I'd hire them again for all my roofing needs. I met them at the Tacoma Home Show in February of 2025. Between them and the 5 other roofing contractors that I met with, Valentine made me the most comfortable with their abilities and their quote. Valentine communicated regularly, gave me a beautiful roof, kept my yard clean, and they were in and out very quickly. You won't go wrong getting a new roof from Valentine.

After the last big rain I noticed a leak in the ceiling and freaked out a bit. I called around and most places were booked but this roofing company managed to squeeze me in for an estimate. The guy showed up and got up on the roof fast. He took pics of the damage and explained it real simple so I could understand what was going on. There were some cracked shingles and a problem around the vent pipe. They gave me a fair price and started work two days later. The crew was friendly and worked quick even though the weather was kinda sketchy. They finished in less than a day and cleaned up everything. No nails left in the yard which I was worried about cause of my dog. Only small issue was they showed up a little late in the morning but they called ahead. Since the repair I haven’t seen any leaks and we had some heavy rain last week too. I feel like they really knew what they were doing and didn’t try to upsell me anything crazy. Would definitely recommend them if your roof is acting up. I hope I don’t need them again but I’d call for sure.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Valentine putting on our new roof. The quote process was easy with the good amount of information provided but no high pressure sales pitch that ate a lot of our time. They were on par with other quotes we received and far below one from a big national construction company. Once hired, the information and communication leading up to and throughout the work was informative and relatively smooth considering there’s some flex in scheduling due to other jobs. The crew on site were professional, efficient and did a fantastic clean up of our property. Because of the age and condition of the roof, we anticipated there’d be repairs needed when the old materials were removed. Communication about these items was fast and efficient even though we were away at work while their work was happening at our home. We are really pleased with the work and the look of the new roof!

I paid for their roof cleaning and gutter polishing. Roof cleaning looks fine. They damaged my gutters though. These gutters were installed February 2024 and they ruined them. Not to mention the gutters don’t even look cleaned. Worst part, they won’t answer any of the calls I make to them about this.

Jess explained the process and scheduled a tech to come out that not only inspected the problem but was able to make the repairs on the same day. Jose Palma and his team came to our home to install a metal roof on our main house and our ADU. He was prompt, considerate, efficient and effective. My house had heavy moss buildup and Valentine Roofing came out today with 2 hardworking workers for 3.5 hrs to ensure all of the moss on the roof and gutters were removed and cleared from property. They also used moss prevention powder to prevent future growth. In addition, a comprehensive roof inspection was performed. I had a few estimates and their price is on the more affordable side. I do recommend them for roof cleaning services.

Brandon was great on time for appointment. I went up on my roof with him and he pointed out all the things that were good on my roof. Told me my roof was installed correctly and did not need to be replaced and told me how to fix my flashing leak myself. I would highly recommend this company and Brandon was very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions.

They installed a cap on my roof wrong which caused a leak. I tried to work with them for a year to get the damage fixed. Their idea of fixing it was to not deal with any of the black mold and just drywall up over the damage. I would never recommend them!

I am now changing my review to one star. Valentine roofing did poor workmanship on my roof. The roof leaked into my house and caused thousands of dollars in damage. Valentine put some chalking on the leak and said they are not responsible for any of the internal damage. I’m a single mom trying to get out of an abusive marriage and now I might lose my home because Valentine roofing doesn’t fix their bad work. Up until this year their service has been great. Unfortunately, this year the communication has been poor. I had a roof cleaning done, which included the gutters and downspouts. After they were done, I found one of the downspouts, disconnected and full of stuff.

Valentine Roofing was wonderful to work with. They didn't try to upsell us or anything and they gave their best quote the first time without hassle. Dane gave his best reasonable quote even though the roof was completely covered by emergency tarps at the time. Moises' work crew worked hard and effectively throughout the project despite rain, sleet, snow, high winds, and hail. We were rather flabbergasted that they worked during some of the more extreme weather to be honest. All in all, everyone at Valentine was very respectful, effective, hard working, and a wholesome group of people to do business with. We're very happy with our new metal roof!

We used Valentine Roofing in early 2023 to replace the roof on our rambler. The experience started out well - our estimator was professional and helpful with all of our questions. The project coordinator was also a pleasure to work with in scheduling the install and coordinating the delivery of materials. The replacement occurred ironically on Valentine’s Day, which happened to be after a few days of snow. The roof was still snow covered so we were concerned about the crew starting their work in these elements. We were assured that this wouldn’t be an issue and they would sweep all the snow off. Once they started tearing off the sheathing this became a different story as water started pouring through parts of our vaulted ceiling in our living room. My husband and I had to rush and throw towels down to cover the floors. The leaks went on for a good portion of the day until they were able to put new boards over the areas that were leaking. We let the foreman know what happened and were told that they would send someone out to repair to interior damages at the conclusion of the install, which they did. The whole project took a week to complete and we were happy with the end result. However, flash forward to January 2024 (less than a year after the roof replacement) and we started noticing leaks in our primary bathroom and primary bedroom in 3 different areas. We called Valentine to have a tech come out and inspect what was going on. Coincidentally we already scheduled for an annual inspection and cleaning with them in late January/early February. I told the tech about the problem areas which he noted on the inspection form as a homeowner comment, however he checked all the boxes on the form as being a clean inspection despite my concerns. A couple of weeks later in february 2024 another tech came out to do a more thorough inspection and told us the roof looked “really bad” in the areas we’ve noticed problems. He went on to tell us the extent of work that needed to be corrected is significant and he’d need to talk to management on next steps. Apparently the damage is so significant that Valentine is scheduling their entire warranty team to come out and work on fixing our 1 year old roof. Our understanding from the text messages and photos we’ve received from their customer service is that the original crew did a poor job securing the new sheathing, shingles and flashing over our bedroom and living room areas. In some cases it’s not secured at all. It’s now March 2024 and the crew can’t come out until April, so they had another tech come out and put a blue tarp covering half of our rambler to protect it from further damage. This was after we had to request this from their customer service. Unfortunately, even with the tarp we are still experiencing issues while we wait for the warranty crew to come out. There are leaks damaging our siding in one area of our bedroom, our ceiling fan in our bedroom almost caused an electrical fire recently. When we pulled the fan off water started pouring out from the ceiling. Water is still dripping from this spot. We have yet to be connected with a live person or manager to speak about our concerns beyond the technician who came to inspect the damage. When we’ve expressed concerns about the interior damage (mold, rot, sheetrock damage, and electrical damage) we’ve only been told they will address it after they fix the roof. This is an unacceptable response at this point and they need to take full ownership to correct these issues too. Also, we have not received a detailed scope of work on what they will be doing when they come to do their warranty work. What started out as a good experience has become a total nightmare for us and we are so disappointed by the poor workmanship and lack of communication we’ve received throughout our warranty claim. I hope our experience doesn’t happen to other homeowners who are considering Valentine or have used them in the past - either way be very cautious. What they sold us and what they delivered have been entirely different experiences.

Very poor installation quality. Exposed nails in soffits, bad ridge cap installation, edges of roofing cut unevenly (jagged edges), nails found in driveway, and no one spoke English so communication was very difficult. They were from Venezuela if that tells you anything. I asked for a discount but they wanted to send the same crew out to fix the problem areas. I told them never mind - why would I want the same crew that screwed-up the first time back to fix the problems. Get three bids, just make sure none of them are Valentine Roofing.

Foreman Dany Baires and his crew are friendly, punctual, and detailed oriented in removing and installing new composite shingles as well as cleaning everything up upon completion.

If you are like we were a new roof leaves you uneasy with a large task and not sure who to trust and how to proceed. I started with many searches and reviews, well one person would swear by the work and the next review a customer had a horrible experience. So we found ourselves once again uneasy with the task and not knowing what company to hire. We met with several sales representatives some more willing to work with you than others, until our appointment with Cole at Valentine Roofing. He listened to our concerns, our budget and thoroughly went through the project needs. He gave a fair quote an explanation of what needed to be done and then took time to come out and answer questions at a second appointment to make sure we felt comfortable with the information he gave us. It didn’t take us long to sign the document and go with Cole based on his honesty, his approachability and his willingness to listen to the customer. From that moment forward my experience with Valentine roofing only Improved. The project manager Dominique was very attentive and informative, and was willing to be available to answer any questions or concerns I had. The project was scheduled materials arrived on time. The delivery of the dumpster and materials were handled with great professionalism. My experience to this point is enough to recommend this company to my friends and family without doubt, but what I will say is that the actual crew performing the work was outstanding and they made doing this review a must to allow others in on the great experience we had. Allen and his crew were courteous, kind, and very professional during the whole roofing project. The respect and care they showed our home was unbelievable. From the first call to this company until the conclusion of the project everything was handled so professionally and kind if you are looking for a reputable company, you should not hesitate in hiring them. I am extremely pleased with our new roof and happy we chose to go with Valentine roofing.

Jenna, Elmer, Cody, and every single person I interacted with at Valentine Roofing was outstanding. Our house is tall and had a roof that predated our purchase of it 6 yrs ago. We had no way of knowing what shape the roof was in due to not owning ladders that go above 30ft. We discovered (thanks to a wind storm) that the roof needed immediate repair and eventual replacement. For peace of mind we decided to redo everything and ensure we had decades to go before worrying about the roof again. I called multiple local roofing companies and Valentine was the first to respond to me right away. This was the first good sign of many. When we chose them to do our roof we had a fantastic (and fast) experience with: - getting tarps put up quickly before the next rain while the supplies were on order (done in 24 hours!) - getting a reasonable quote for a new roof (done the same day as the assessment) - having materials and a dumpster delivered right on schedule - having our roof installed quickly and ahead of schedule! I got a calls, texts and emails from the Project Manager at every step of the process. Communication was always polite and clear. When an opening for install appeared on their schedule, they called to tell me they were ready a day early and asked if I wanted to take the slot. Of course! The whole process took 3 days and while they were onsite, the roofing team was courteous, tidy (considering the project), and so hardworking. At the end of each day we got a report from the roofers about their project status. They also took tons of photos of the before, during, and after for our records and informed us of a mold problem in our unfinished attic rafters. Not awesome but because they took photos I could immediately call another company to get a quote with those photos and will be able to get that resolved before it gets worse. Without their thorough review of my house I’d have never known about this. Once they were done installing the roof, the team thoroughly cleaned up our yard leaving no trace they were ever here. And as a small bonus, the process of cleaning up their scraps and remnants also meant cleaning up some recently fallen leaves. So in a strange but convenient twist, they inadvertently did yard work, too! Now I have a new roof and a leaf-free yard. Needing a new roof during rainy winters should be really stressful. But Valentine made it a totally painless process. I highly recommend them!

I recently had a roofing nightmare until Valentine Roofing came to my rescue. The previous contractor's work was so poor that the entire roof had to be ripped off and replaced. Thankfully, the Valentine team was not only competent but also swift in resolving the issue. They had the new roof in place within a matter of days. Now, I can enjoy my morning coffee on my back porch without any concerns about getting wet. Kudos to Valentine Roofing for their expertise and efficiency!

I had them replace the roof on my house because I can't physically do it myself. The job started in late may and it is still ongoing... the roof itself is a rambler but the quality of installation is pitiful. They have been out 6 times to fix the issues and have yet to get it right. Summer is about to end and it is becoming a tragedy that they can't seem to do the sheet metal how it is supposed to be. As a customer I shouldn't have to teach their crews how to do an install.. the flashing are not joined properly, the valleys look like a child cut them. They keep saying that the job is finished when it is clearly not. It took me 3 times to get them to fix the change pitch which looked like a playground slide before they did. The flashing on the tip out is cut crooked.. Debris was left in my yard from their gutter department... I would be embarrassed if I was them. And yes, I have talked to them about these issues.

Valentine Roofing truly exceeded all expectations. From the first conversation and estimate all the way through the project, they were friendly and communicative. We didn't expect this from roofing companies given our prior experience gathering estimates from various other local competitors. One competitor, who shall remain nameless, was even bold enough to change their pricing on us a single day after giving us a quote. Valentine wasn't our cheapest option - but that wasn't what we wanted. We needed to balance quality craftmanship with a fair price. Valentine knocked that our of the park. It was clear that they took actual pride in their work - and went out of their way to make sure that no detail was overlooked. The hard-working crew completed the project over 3 days, which was impressive given the scale of the project. The roof was followed shortly by new gutters, which were neatly wrapped up in 1 day. If you're in the market for a new roof, you should absolutely give Valentine a chance to win your business. If all you want is bottom of the barrel pricing and work quality, you can find that elsewhere. But if you care about your home and want to hire people who will show that same level of care, Valentine Roofing are your people.

I've been very pleased with Valentine Roofing, from my first interaction to the final day the crew left after a job well done. Chris was our estimator. He took the time to hear my concerns and gather the requirements I was looking for. I was looking for a roof replacement for my main house and two sheds in the back. I also wanted to have skylights and a tube light installed. I wanted it all to match and look nice in the Duration Onyx black shingles from Owens Corning. Once I got under contract, I was introduced to Courtney to be my experience manager. With her clear communication, I was never left in the dark on project status. She was even able to get my roof project started a week early! The materials and dumpster were delivered a day or two before replacement started. Care was taken to protect my driveway as the dumpster was placed. On the day that work began, I met with Bryan and Diego. Their crew did a great job and worked extremely hard to get the job done in a timely manner. I appreciated the progress photos they shared with me as they got to different stages in the replacement process. Diego did an excellent job placing the skylights exactly where I wanted. The team kept the work area impressively clean every day before they left. However, not everything went perfectly smoothly. I did experience some light damage to my property during the course of material delivery as well as when materials were being ripped up and disposed of in the dumpster. Courtney worked with me to compensate for the repair of that damage and I was satisfied with that result. As the team began installing the new shingles, I noticed that they did not replace the PVC liner for the built-in gutters, as my contract had listed. Diego showed me that his spec sheet didn't include that work item. After talking with Courtney, we agreed that it was a communication breakdown that led to that being missed. The team did end up having to rip up almost a whole side of the roofline in order to correct this mistake, leading to a day or two of extra time now that they realized they had to rip up the old PVC liner. In terms of fit and finish, my biggest frustration was to find the flashing not properly installed behind the drip edge in a section of my roof. I'm certain that this would have led to a leak down the road as I could clearly see the CDX board behind the gap (see attached picture). I expect all projects to have their issues that come up, what matters to me is how the company responds. In my experience, Valentine exceeded my expectations. Every concern was acknowledged and promptly addressed by the team. I'm thankful that my roof comes with a lifetime workmanship warranty - hopefully I won't need it! Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. From the beginning to the end, I was treated as a valued customer and never second guessed my choice with Valentine. The whole team did an excellent job and I'm very happy with the end product!

Valentine Roofing did a great job replacing our old roof with a handsome new one. It looks so good, I keep going outside just to stare at it! Alan was very responsive, professional, courteous, accommodating, and concerned with making us happy. Whenever I had a question or concern, he went out of his way to give it attention, which was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend Valentine Roofing to family and friends. Great value, too!

Valentine roofing provided quality work on our roof in a professional manner. Our decision to use this company was not due to price as it certainly was not the cheapest. But I knew people who used this company and I saw their homes and what the roofs looked like. In addition the roofing estimator was knowledgeable and was very thorough in his inspection. The roofing crew who installed the new shingles were incredible. I miss them!!!! They were such hard workers, and meticulous to detail Our roof looks spectacular. The gutter guy came about 3 weeks later. We were so happy with our decision to upgrade to the larger gutter size. Our roof looks great!!! We chose the Owens Corning Duration Westchester Gray with the ridge cap and 5 inch gutters. Total cost close to 33K. It was an investment that will protect our home.

The biggest thing to look out for with this company is the "experience managers" If anything goes wrong they'll pass you around to different people to keep you on your heels it's a tactic. My mistake was thinking that since their salesman was convenient that that's how they conducted business This company is one that doesn't answer the phone, you have to talk to an answering machine I had a roof and gutters replaced and I hope the roof doesn't leak because you ain't gonna get to talk to Connor Valentine! To be fair they were cheaper than the company that I would've gone with -that would be State Roofing The roof was good quality and somewhat competently installed I hope! The gutters have been a fiasco - Shoddily done, instantly brought water in against my facia and then I had to deal with having someone come out three times and then my "experience manager" denying anything was wrong. Right now I'm waiting for a technician to come out to redo some gutters. I've been waiting for an hour, it's past 4 PM and we had arrangements to meet up at 3 o'clock, I'm glad I didn't take any more time off from work! To sum up I hope this helps somebody else with their decision. There are plenty of other choices to do your roof and gutters. This is not been a smooth process and I hope to be done with this two month ordeal soon. I would not use Valentine Roofing again.

We had a fantastic experience with Valentine Roofing and Gutters. Rene and his team worked extremely hard on installing the roof and Agustin and his team were both kind and experienced in installing the gutters. This was a very big project and they worked with excellence and efficiency. Our favorite part about Valentine was their communication. We've worked with a lot of companies and have never seen anything like it! You'll love working with LeeAnn, Rochelle, and so many others. One other thing to note... Greg was our initial contact and sales rep. He was personal, knowledgable, and easy to work with. Thanks to everyone at Valentine. They recommend getting multiple estimates for your roof, but we would just go straight to them. Their price and service were impeccable!

Valentine did an excellent job. Gregg the sales rep was very thru and took his time explaining everything and the bid was done on the spot. The crew Bryan, Wilmer, Diego, Antonio and Aurelio were amazing. The job site was clean. They were professional and personable. Very helpful when I was asking my many questions. They showed me the flyover of their work. They were a great crew and would have them again The best thing is I have two wonderful dogs and they loved all the action and never got in the crews way. They loved greeting them in the morning.

Valentine Roofing's installers Bill and team did a first rate job on installing our new door including the removal and re-installation of our existing storm door. They were friendly, meticulous, and very skilled and they did a great job of cleaning up after completion of the install. These guys just put a badly needed new roof on our house. The weather had not been great and the pitch of our roof is very steep but they got out as soon as they safely could to secure it with the stop leak promise. We had a tarp well tacked down to hold until they could get to the roofing itself. Once the job got started Elmer and the crew worked diligently. In our situation the dumpster could not be near the house and had to sit in the street. Our house is very close to our neighbors on both sides. They had to protect the neighbors houses with plywood and plastic sheeting from all the debris that would fall as all the old material was removed. Each day the place was left clean and all the plastic and plywood was picked up. My neighbors had no complaints. I expected the final clean up would be excellent but I was impressed with how excellent the daily clean up was. Elmer did a great job keeping me informed and showing me issues he discovered with our old siding and how it made adding the new flashing challenging. Corbin did a great job communicating with us as well as the job got started and through out the entire process. My neighbor who just had his roof done by someone else just 4 weeks earlier told me he was still picking up nails and debris. He noted the excellent clean up between our houses and admired the new venting system applied to our 100+ year old house. "I got what I paid for", he acquiesced. We got what we paid for to. Excellent service start to finish from bid to completion, Attention to detail, a foreman and crew that take pride in their work. All of our bids were reasonably close in price. I am absolutely pleased we decided to go with Valentine.

We had our roof and gutters replaced back in 2016 with Valentine and I was very impressed with how great their service was. They were on time, had lots of team members present to help speed up the process, and to keep each other safe and accountable. We got a great explanation and overview and was able to inspect the work. Since the installation, they’ve been out to monitor our roof, protect from moss, and made sure everything was still in place. This winter, I had them install our Holiday lights and because they had the measurements of our roof from their initial project, they were able to quote me over the phone. I liked being able to text with them and schedule service over the phone. The light guys did a phenomenal job. Everyone there is so professional and really put the customer focus in mind.

Our first experience with Valentine Roofing was using their Roof Maintenance service. The tech was extremely professional and did a great job. We have numerous trees around our house so we get lots of debris and pine needles. Based on our experience with our roof cleaning we contacted Valentine Roofing to install our Christmas Lights. It was quick and easy! It only took a few hours and they cut the Christmas lights custom to our house. After the holidays they came out and took them down. They left them in a nice tub for easy storage. The next year they hung them. There were a few bulbs burnt out, but they replaced them. When we decided we needed new windows we chose Valentine Roofing because we knew their service was exceptional. The new windows are amazing. They added tremendous value to our home.

From the first inspection to the last nail picked up, the Valentine team was great to work with. Our new roof is top notch. The sales rep who initially came out to inspect was courteous, friendly, and professional. (Shout out to Mark!) The super-friendly experience manager (shout out to Aubrey!) was fantastic and called every day leading up to the project, throughout the process, and after completion. They finished our complicated roof in 3 days instead of the potentially 4 estimated. The projrlect lead was courteous and meticulous (shout out to Mario!). They cleaned up after each day, were honest about plywood or facia sections that needed replacing, and were upfront about cost, both initial and adjustments as needed. We were impressed with the difference a fresh new roof made. Side note: Our neighbors picked a different company. We both happened to have our roofs replaced the same week. Their company was a day late, got all done, then discovered the color installed was wrong. They are still scraping off the wrong shingles and replacing it all as we speak. So glad we chose Valentine!

Get 3 quotes but NEVER pick valentine. Before the job even started awful service and communication. Through out the installation I had to point out mistakes the installers were making, most often met with a shrug. When a supervisor did respond the results stayed poor. Immediately after the job was finished they demanded immediate payment, then when they double withdrew the money from our account had the gall to ask us for proof the extra 12k caused an overdraft. A fee they still haven’t reimbursed us for. The gutters were installed wrong and I get on a ladder I find more and more poor workmanship. Of course multiple calls and emails yield nothing. I have attached many pictures of the just awful quality of workmanship. Whatever you do, never ever trust valentine roofing. An awful company that does poor work and have support that matches. If anyone wants more pictures feel free to drop me a note, this is just a small sample. As the ad says, get 3 quotes, never pick valentine.

Very pleased with the work they did replacing my roof. They were hard workers, did a great job cleaning up every day and when the job was done.Roof was finished in 3 days! Valentine Roofing kept in contact with me and great communication through the entire job.

Incredibly happy with the result of our roof installation. Had to replace all the plywood and install new shingles. New roof replaced a 20-year-old 3-tab shingled roof. Crew that was sent out did an amazing job on the roof. Communication was clear throughout the process. Had a couple of issues that the project manager understood and was able to address quickly.
