Josh gets the job done. He humanely tries and evicted the squirrels from the very top soffit of my house. He also put plastic bird spikes across a window in the back of my house where the squirrels used to dance like it was a ballroom!

Josh was awesome. Found a dead deer in our backyard and he came out the same night. No more smell to worry about.

Josh came in a Sunday morning when no one else could! He went under a crawl space under my apartment building to hunt for my missing cat, which the fire department and animal control had refused to do, as there were flooded spots. He made sure my cat was not stuck there, allowing me to look other places. It was a big relief, and he is very knowledgeable about hunting for lost pets in difficult places!

Critter Cowboys was one of the best companies I’ve worked with in a long time. They answered my call right away, showed up promptly, and offered fair, reasonable pricing. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process stress-free. If you’ve got unwanted critters around, I highly recommend giving them a call—they really know what they’re doing and make sure the job gets done right.

Had a dead doe in the yard and Critter Cowboys handled it. Josh was at my house within an hour of my phone call. Very professional and friendly. I will certainly use him again if needed.

I am renting a townhouse and had found mouse droppings. My landlord contacted Josh, paid him up front for his services. He had supposedly been out to the house a couple of times and when asked about mouse droppings he replied that he had finished the work but needed to come back to clean up - huh? Why would you make an extra trip to clean up. She had tried to contact him with no success so I stepped in to advocate for her. After telling him I would no longer leave the key out for entrance when I was not home, he promised to show up a couple of times and eventually went silent. VERY disappointed especially seeing as my landlord appears to be out the money and he cannot even prove he was even at the home to provide any services at all. Very unreliable and unprofessional.

Joshua answered the phone right away after I had spent over an hour playing phone tag with other companies, and the ones who did answer wanted to put chemicals down to kill a bee nest next to my blueberry bushes. Joshua was able to come that same day. He dug up the nest very carefully (trying to avoid the roots of my bushes) and took the nest and the queen with him. No chemicals!! I will call him again.

Josh was very knowledgeable and kind! He was quickly able to find where the rodents chewed through and got rid of them. Please don’t hesitate to try him if you ever have a critter problem he is the best! Highly recommend!

We had Josh work on our home last year (February 2024). We had squirrels/flying squirrels creating havoc in our attic. Josh was knowledgeable and kind. He worked to remedy the holes/spaces all along our home where critters were entering. He came out to do one or two follow ups, but never actually caught any of the critters. A couple of months after he performed his services, we continued to hear critters in the attic. We called Josh to follow up numerous times and he would not return our phone calls. Now fast forward one year (February 2025) we are in worse shape than we were one year ago. We called another service to come out and take a look at what was going on and they found critters still invading our attic and crawl spaces. All of the work Josh did to secure these spots were done with mesh wiring, which did not hold in place. It was not secured. So critters continued to enter. We now are about to pay TRIPLE what we paid Josh last year to actually get our issue fixed. We really liked Josh. He was personable, seemed knowledgeable and he was respectful and kind. We are just extremely disappointed in his lack of true follow up and also with the quality of his work and want to warn others before continuing to do business with him that you may find yourself in worse shape than you started.<br><br>*Edited to add - reference Invoice #000176 dated February 14, 2024.

Joshua was great! He was knowledgeable, transparent, friendly and reasonably priced. He was able to get our job done within a couple of days, and then followed up to make sure all was well. We would highly recommend him!

We highly recommend Critter Cowboys. Josh came out on the same day we called, diagnosed the problem (squirrel), and made the repairs needed to keep the furry critter out. He was very fast and efficient, also sending videos of what he was finding. Great job!

Update: I will leave another review. I politely have given them two stars and I will retract one to give them one whole star. It does not let me respond to their reply. I see other reviews complain about the same… great first initial contact. He might probably do a great job, but when it comes to contacting them again or asking this company to service again because (like in my case) tenants complain that this company didn’t do anything.. they disappear. They also have a “warranty”. They ghost you completely. I was lucky to get some responses but no actions. Leaving my tenants with a day off from work and no show. Even after leaving a review, Josh contacted me to tell me he will finally service my units and has ghosted me once again.<br><br>(city is informed that we purchased a fixer upper and a band aid fix is not what I call an over a thousand dollar treatment to get rid of pests- when you don’t have enough money to throw down several more thousands of dollars to get the building perfect.. this company is supposed to focus on pest control and city is well aware and has visited the property. It is completely operable and no major problems EXCEPT FOR PESTS and this company failed over and over again.)<br><br>Josh has refused to answer calls. Texts. Attempts from my tenants. I had a squirrel trapped in the space behind my fireplace. This was evening on a Sunday. My normal pest control service was closed, so I called Critter Cowboys. Josh responded immediately and came out within the hour. He explained the problem for me and was very clear on what needed to be done to fix it. He quoted me a very reasonable price but also advised me to check if the previous pest control repair work that had been done by the other company was under warranty. I was really impressed by that- he could have taken my money (I would have gladly paid him to do the job!) and I would have never been the wiser. Josh was friendly, helpful, and didn't even charge me to come out on a Sunday evening! I wish that I had contracted his services initially, rather than my current provider. I would definitely recommend Josh and Critter Cowboys. If everybody provided that level of service, home repairs would be way less of a nightmare!

Josh was very professional, prompt and polite. He did a great job for us placing the wire mesh to keep out more bats. However, he was unresponsive once I paid the bill. He never came back to get the trap and remove the last bat that he was not able to catch. My closing for my mortgage was held up for more than a week and my lender had to get involved to get the report from him. He still hasn't come back after multiple texts and voicmail messages. He responds that he will be here, but doesn't show back up. Be sure you get the full job completed before paying!

I got help to seal the attic, remove and replace flashing, and set traps to catch some mice. Incredible job, comes out quick, is flexible, easy to work with, and fair pricing! Heavily recommend.

Josh was a savior! He was at our home in such short notice to remove 3 lizards, track down how they got in, and tell us what to use to keep them out. He was a HUGE help and we will be calling him for whatever we need!

This company is worth reviewing. I contacted Josh for a bat problem in our attic. He came out and gave the most reasonable quote, half the cost of the big names that try to charge an arm and a leg. He started working right away, communicated everything he was doing, and was reliable for his return time to finish the job. Even offered to hang up a bat house that we had purchased. Highly recommend! Josh quickly responded to my call for help to deal with the rat in our attic/ basement. He found the entrance on the roof, closed it off, set traps and caught the culprit in the same day. We’d been trying with no success for a month. Very happy to not worry about seeing a rat face above my washing machine!

Critter Cowboys did an outstanding job getting rid of bats and sealing up all entry ways. They are very meticulous and efficient in their work. The team of Ryan, James, and Josh is excellent. They are very knowledgeable, courteous, and technically proficient. It's dangerous work, but they do it with ease and clean up well when they're done.

Josh used his plumber looking camera and found the snake coiled at bottom of wall. Josh was great as far as giving us an estimate and inspection. He solved our problem without an issue and also did it at a reasonable cost compared to other pest control companies. While he was here, my neighbor also had some screening done on her vents to avoid the same bar issue I had. This company is highly recommended by me as I used to build houses for living when I was younger and understand the work that had to be done in the attic on a hot day in June.

We rented a house that come to find out had a rodent problem. So I called Josh at critter Cowboys and he was at my house shortly after the call seen the problem areas told me how he was going to fix it and by the time I got home the next day all the entry points were fixed trap set he done a fantastic job all of them were gone and haven't had a problem since. Highly recommend Josh with Critter Cowboys for your wildlife removal services. I hired Josh to remove a family of raccoons that were causing a ruckus at a rental property. Josh was quick to answer my call and showed up at the exact time he scheduled with me. Josh proceeded to gently and humanely remove raccoon from the premises. He inspected to make sure there were no others. Josh sealed up and secured any possible entry points to ensure the critters cannot re-enter the property. Professional, punctual, respectful and fair! We had an ordeal with a mother racoon who found her way into our attic and gave birth to 4. We thought any critter company would charge an exorbitant amount of money, so we let her raise them a few weeks til they were old enough then we'd spray apple cider vinegar to run them out. It didn't work. We got a referral to try Critter Cowboys and were extremely pleased with Josh and his service. He caught mama and her babies very efficiently and professionally. He knows what he's doing and extremely fair priced. I HIGHLY recommend him for any critter issue!!

Initial contact was positive and remediation plan seemed reasonable. Entry points were sealed according to Josh and traps were set with a schedule to return to check and potentially remove the traps. After months of phone calls, emails, and texting to have Josh return to check the traps; we have nothing. No response and no action is simply unsatisfactory service. I would recommend finding another pest remediation service based on my experience. If you do use this service, have an explicit contract that specifies ALL services to be performed and the timeline of such performance so that you can seek legal support when you get ghosted.

Called Critter Cowboys after I noticed a very unusual smell coming from the attic.<br>Josh not only answered my call but came out within 45 minutes to look at a potential critter problem. He took the time to check everything, was courteous and explained everything! Luckily I didn’t have any critter issue and was not charged for the visit. I and my wallet thank him.

Josh came out on short notice about snakes at our property. They were gone at the time as luck would have it! He checked the property up one side and down the other! I have Josh on speed dial when they show up again.

Josh saved the day on Saturday by coming quickly to my home to find a bat that had gotten into our house Friday night. He retrieved the bat and checked the house to determine entry points. He's coming back to secure those areas and I am eternally grateful!

We went to the big companies for 3-4 quotes and they were VERY expensive. And not only that, they were not willing to fix the main issues and only would do their comprehensive full home packages.<br><br>Josh was the total opposite and fantastic to work with! He came out and gave a clear and concise estimate for our problem. And is was about 60% less than the competitors. Critter Cowboys came to our rescue within the same day of our critter problems when no one else could. Josh did an excellent job of finding our critter in the wall and removing it with minimal damage to the walls and willing to care for the critter as his customers preference. He left our home looking great and no messes for us to clean up.<br><br>We also had Josh from Critter Cowboys return to take care of some external entry points he found during his check of the house while here. He removed one large rectangular vent outside, screened a massive entry point underneath the front porch. At the overhang of the front door, he welded wire mesh to prevent rodent entry into our basement. He also added screen to both large vents on front of house porch to prevent rodents from getting under the crawlspace under front porch. He then resecured the large vent he removed. Once again, Josh left our home clean and safe from critters. We highly recommend Critter Cowboys and will definitely use if ever needed again.

I have given this company so many chances. They did the service but when it comes to get a hold of them after the service is done its really tiring. I called and texted multiple time both brothers to get ahold of continously noise i keep getting in the attic and no response from them. Im soo annoyed with the excuses and set up date with time they were suppose to come. I lost a day of work because they told me they were going to come in the morning and didnt even to bother to let me know they weren't going to come. I ask few hours before by my appointment time to see if they were still going to come and no response.

We had birds flying into our attic through the gable vent and Josh was able to nearly install some critter metal to keep them out. Great price and reliable guys. I’ve also worked with them to have insulation vacuumed out of the attic to mitigate rat droppings. Sincerely these guys are awesome

Critter cowboys are the best!! Joshua was very professional. He came out to address our situation almost immediately, which was a raccoon, that had got into the house. It was captured and he located the entrance where it got in and repaired it, and also looked around the house from top to bottom for other entries. I am very pleased with the outcome. He was professional, fast and effective. This company is the best I highly recommend !

I am extremely frustrated to say the least. Our house had a rat infestation and after sealing and trapping the home we also asked that they clean up our crawlspace. I am military are not there to see the job and they lied to my wife, showing her a clean section of the crawlspace but did not clean any other part of it. My wife trusting them wrote a check for thousands of dollars that we have now lost. After coming home on a visit, I saw the unfinished crawlspace job and have tried to call and text them daily, with no answers or callback. Justin called me back 5 days ago, apologized after my initial bad review but again, I have not heard from him and will not answer my calls. Now I have to spend more money on another company to do a job they said they would do. They took advantage of my wife and my absence.

Justin was here within 30 minutes of receiving my call to remove 2 squirrels from my fireplace that had fallen down the chimney. Got the squirrels out and put a screen over the hole in my chimney cap. Fast professional service and very reasonable pricing. We will definitely use them again when the need arises and recommend them to everyone we know

Critter Cowboys did a great job for us. They quickly found the squirrel’s entry point and did a full exclusion. They also removed squirrel droppings and deodorized the space. Very friendly and knowledgeable experts. Much more affordable than the big name company. Highly recommend.

OMG, OMG, This company deserves a rating of 20+! Ryan and Bryan at Critter Cowboys caught and removed a BAT from my house. Talk about a thankless job...I could not thank them enough if I tried. They arrived in the most fantastic vehicle with a huge pro trailer. They seemed prepared to catch Lions, Tigers and Bears! My life and home were saved by the Critter Cowboys! Call them for any annoying or TERRIFYING pest control needs. I have to MORE than recommend them I INSIST that you use them. They were reliable, affordable and UBER effective! I paid $300 for the one bat which I was happy to pay, but they did also perform a full inspection of my home and attic space and showed me every single place a critter could enter. They offer plans to seal and close entry points and make repairs. I swear this company is a life saver. They even treated the nasty little thing humanely and educated me about the federal protection bats "enjoy". I cannot believe I survived a whole pandemic caused by a filthy bat and had one end up in my flying my house while unloading the car....God is good and Critter Cowboys is the absolute best. Thank you Critter Cowboys. No bats were harmed in the process of this removal.

I unexpectedly found a snake in the house and reached out to Critter Cowboys for help. Justin was able to come over quickly and efficiently take care of the animal, and also help seal the entryway. He also informed me of where else rodents and snakes could enter, as well as provided tips on how to deal with keeping them out of the house.<br><br>I had a wonderful experience working with Critter Cowboys. They are professional, efficient, kind, and courteous. Definitely on my list of first-to-call should such an issue ever rise again!

I have paid over $1200 for Rodent remiadation. I have selected the provider in good faith looking at reviews. Now within the warrant period, the Rodents are back in the attic. After 5 attempts between requesting remediation and multiple no shows, I am forced to write this honest review. They didn't even have the courtesy to call and let us know they are not going to make it. The solution/remediation didn't work, horrendous customer service. This service provider disappeared on us and left us hanging. Terribly Disappointed.

Don’t waste your time. Josh the owner puts on a nice guy facade in order to get the job but his work is sloppy and his warranty work is nearly impossible to achieve without extensive arguing. Once he finally agrees to the warranty work he’ll lie and no-show until you finally give up - like I did.

I absolutely love the time that was spent with me going over everything that my house needed to protect my family from the outside. I have a schedule that is difficult to manage and Critter Cowboys not only fit me in, but also did all the work to work around my schedule. Hearing animals in your new home with babies is something that you don’t take into consideration, until it happens. They have went beyond my expectations of making me feel secure and giving me back my home. I have a tight budget being a single mother, but they never made me feel like I was just another payday. Everything is top shelf service and the amount of relief I have to be able to come home relax is the best feeling. I’m thankful I have found this company and all the hard working people they have to talk to down from stressful situations. Thanks so much Critter Cowboys!

I had Josh and his team over to seal construction gaps left by the builder and prevent critters from getting in. They were prompt and provided a competitive quote. They showed up, performed the work, and he showed me all that they did. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

They are nice guys but they are not dependable. They completed the initial exclusion but it has been difficult to get them back out for any additional treatments. Communication is spotty and they don't show up for scheduled appointments.<br><br>Response: The weekend appointments and after hours visits were your suggestion since we are located near your home. We did not request them. The repair to the garage door seal was also something you offered during the initial consultation. As for the additional trips, those were included in the contract we signed for the exclusion. Your response fails to address why you set multiple appointments and did not show. To me, that's not "above and beyond".

Josh did an awesome job for what I needed done. Very polite, professional. We had an indoor/outdoor cat have a litter of kittens that we couldn’t find. Josh got into our tiny crawl space with no problem and tracked down our cat’s kittens! Will use again in the future without a doubt

Josh was very professional. He showed up the same day, found where the squirrels got in, and removed them without harming them in less than 30 minutes. He gave me a price break and patched the hole in my roof for practically for nothing. Awesome service!

Critter cowboys exceeded our expectations and then some. They were helpful, friendly, knowledge and quick to get us the help we needed to get our rat problem under control. They sealed up our roof and sealed all the spots the rats were coming into our home. We’ll forever be grateful for their help! 11/10 would recommend for any of your critter problems!

We had an owl with an injured wing in our front yard an Josh, one of the owners came out and was able to capture it with very humain professionalism and compassion. He covered its face and calmed and lessened the stress of the owl. Will definitely use again

Had an opossum under my deck. Joshua came out in about 2 hours and removed the little guy quickly. He even took the time to put my deck plank back in place and my flower pots back where they were. Highly recommend! Will definitely use Critter Cowboys again!

Our experience was mixed, then turned bad. Initially they were very responsive and eager to service our property. Scheduling, communication, and initial service were smooth and as it turns out not as thorough as we had thought. One of the techs had confirmed he would return to our residence about 2 -3 weeks after the initial appointment to check the rat-traps and possibly do additional work if needed. He promised he'd return to deodorize the attic. Which was all going to be part of the payment we made. Unfortunately, multiple phone calls, voice messages, and text messages later - they never returned any communication attempts. The office phone was never answered either. We then tried an alternate phone number to which someone answered right away, and continued to promise to be at our residence the very next day. Needless to say, he never showed up, nor did her contact us to make another appointment. I also would like to mention that the follow up was mentioned on the contract as well. We ended up checking the "rat-traps" ourselves. Turns out, they were never placed. I would not write this review if the contract would have been fulfilled. I would only recommend this company for a one time only appointment as they gladly took several hundreds of dollars from us but did not finish the agreed upon work. Very disappointing. Will never use them again. In my opinion, they wanted some change on the side and did not care one bit about us as humans.

I am blown away with these guys!!! They are very professional and honest. I called in a panic because I had a snake in my garage. Justin was at my house in less than 10 mins and was able to remove the poisonous snake within minutes. I can’t thank them enough!!!

The Critter Cowboys took care of a rat problem at my moms house that was the result of a wooded lot being cleared & construction. They did a lot of exclusionary work on the roof and crawlspace and outside the house and did a great job! They explained all that needed to be done and took pictures. They are trust worthy and will take care of all your needs. They were quick to respond when I called and came out to inspect at a convenient time for me. Josh was very communicative in explaining his assessment before any work was done. The quote was comparable to others and I felt that I could trust them to do superior quality work. I highly recommend these guys.

I can't say enought good things about Josh. He was on time. Helped me with my bee problem and made a deterrent for the Woodpeckers. He even checked for other spots at no extra charge. Would highly recommend. I would give them 10 starts if google would let me.

I called Critter Cowboys because I had a critter trapped in my fireplace, and Justin came out the same day and got the job done in 10 mins. I didn’t have just one bird in my fireplace vent but TWO! He was able to get to them quick and literally got them out with his bare hands. Not only did he remove them, but he took the time to climb up and fix my vent cap that I had bought on Amazon weeks ago to prevent anymore birds getting in. We had Bats in our ATTIC! Critter cowboys came out, sealed up the gable vents and cleaned up the bat dropping for us. Highly recommend these guys. and the price was not bad, we had several other quotes.
