My home is noticably cooler and I had nothing to clean after a full removal and replacement of all our insulation. They were affordable and used eco friendly materials. I would 100% recommend them.

LEFT A/C DUCT DISCONNECTED cost me a lot of money to repair the damage they caused. Everguard disconnected the ducts in my attic that were attached to an inline fan so they could move around, then used a 3" long piece of used duct tape to reconnect the ducts, which had been connected with a large plastic zip-tie and extensive foil and duct tapes, and never told me. The duct eventually came 1/2 off and for years our back room was hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and smelled like attic insulation. So, I installed a mini-split in the back room not knowing the duct had come apart. When I went to remove the duct I found what Everguard had done. The inline fan was blowing 1/2 attic air into my back room. Besides the cost of the mini-split (which was not necessary) we paid for years of higher AC and heating bills. Everguard showed up with the wrong material. The attic cleaning and insulation were not thorough. And, they had to come back an extra day when I showed them photos of the areas they missed. I think the owner of the company is a decent person, but the guys working for him do not care about the quality of their work. I feel sorry for people who use this company and are unable to thoroughly check their work. REPLY TO STEVE: One small piece of used tape on a duct that was attached as I described would not be sufficient by any standards. I think my grandma could have done a better job without her glasses in the dark with one hand tied behind her back. If your guys would have just told what they had done I would have taken care of it instead of paying for years of extra AC and heating and finally purchasing and installing a mini-split. They knew they had taken the duct apart, that their fix was deficient, never told me, and it cost me a lot. I'm not saying that your people are not capable, just that they don't care about the quality of their work or how it impacts your customers. Please ask your other reviewers what they would have said if they had experienced this. Please consider asking your workers to advise customers when they take ducts apart so they don't have to experience what I did. Instead of being defensive, fix the problem.

Amazing! The telephone staff is courteous and responsive. Roy, the guy that came to assess and measure the space for insulation was amazing. He is professional and informative, and I immediately knew I had made a good choice with this company. Then the guys that did the insulation Manny and Kevin were SUPER professional, courteous, and clean (they cleaned up so well after laying down tarp to avoid making a mess) and gave me the chance to inspect their work. The change in temperature in my house was immediate. I’m so thrilled! Then Roy followed up to ensure everything was going well- Roy is an asset to this company truly. I’m over the moon happy! They were fast efficient and competitively priced. Used them to remove old insulation, and replace with blown in insulation. They did a great job of removing and cleaning the attic. The blown in insulation was well done, and fast.

While getting my roof replaced, found out most of my house had no insulation! 😱 scrambled around to find an insulation company and thank goodness I found Everguard! From the very first phone call to Roy coming out to give me an estimate (most reasonable out of the several I got), to them squeezing my project in super last min (literally next day) due to the nature of my situation, to working with me as I had to get some hvac ducts replaced from rodent damage (which their guys found!) even if it meant delaying their work.. this team has been nothing but professional and amazing to work with! Prompt and Thorough!<br><br>No wonder so many 5 star reviews. I inquired about attic insulation removal from several vendors on Tuesday. They returned my call and gave me the most competitive bid. I’ve used Everguard previously with complete satisfaction. Everguard’s crew arrived as scheduled at 8am on Wednesday and by noon I had the cleanest attic in Ventura. Once remodel is complete, I’ll schedule Everguard back for new insulation. Special appreciation to the exceptional crew. (the first pic is "before")

I never write reviews, but I had to jump on for this company. My house was built in the 60's and has old/little insulation. I originally requested getting insulation for my attic and all walls facing south (where the sun hits all day). Everguard recommended I just do the attic first, and if there wasn't significant change they would come back and do the walls. Since getting my attic done, my house is literally 10 degrees cooler while hardly running the AC. So of course the product works, but the company was super easy to work with. They were very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. Definitely go with them.

We just had them do a full clean, radiant barrier, and insulation of our attic. Only thing I'm mad about is not doing this years ago. The house, and especially the kids' rooms, are actually tolerable. And the A/C is on far less. In today's world of appointments months out for most home improvement work, this took 2 weeks from first phone call to work complete.

Bought a 73 year old house. Found papers in the attic dated 1972, when it was last insulated. Everguard came in quickly, secured the workspace with plastic, were super polite, cleaned it out spotlessly, blew in new insulation, and put up radiant barrier. Basically came in way under budget, and were done in a single day. I really couldn't have asked for more, and if I ever need attic work again, I'll be calling them. Cleanup afterwards was spotless, and although the temp has hit 85 degrees, my house is a consistent 72 w/o running AC.

I can’t say enough about Everguard Insulation. I live in a two story, 2200 sqft home, built in 1986, which over the past 13 years of ownership has proven to be very poorly insulated. With recent summers getting hotter and hotter, and winters feeling colder and colder, I knew I had to do something. Whole house fan, Check. New double pane windows, Check. Finally, AC, Check. Still, even with all that, hot in summer, cold in winter. I reached out to a number of insulation companies, but was not happy with the responses from any of them, until I found Everguard. I explained my situation, and they suggested two options; 1) Clad the inside of my roof with a radiant barrier, and/or 2) Increase my attic blown insulation from the present 3” depth to 13” depth. Since I already had solar panels on my roof, acting as deflectors of direct heat, I chose to go with the 13” of insulation. It is important to note that I reached out to Everguard in the spring of 2022, and didn’t finally arrange for the work until the fall. Another company might have hounded me for the sale. Everguard just made a few courtesy calls during a 6 month span, just to see if I was still interested. I appreciate that. I can’t stand pushy salesmen. When it came time for the installation, a crew of two arrived and worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently, completing the entire job in just over one hour. I can truly say it was the right choice since the house stays warmer on cold nights, and cooler on warm days. Everguard Insulation. The right company, the right price, and excellent work and results. We needed new insulation in our attic desperately and we new our walls probably did too so we started the search for a trusted company that wasn't going to break the bank but would also do a great job. Evergaurd not only met our expectations they blew them away. From our initial consultation to the final day of service everyone we dealt with was kind, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They gave us genuine advice when we needed it and worked with us on scheduling to accommodate our busy home life. They made every effort to protect our home when doing the work and cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished. We could not recommend a better company to help with your insulation project.

Our attic hadn't been cleaned in 30 years and the insulation was skimpy at best. What I especially appreciated about Roy (who was the one to come and give us an estimate) is that he explained what kind of materials he intended to use. First Roy sent his team in to vacuum up a busload of dust and dirt, safeguard the attic from rodents and install a radiant barrier. Our house feels so clean and light! A few days later another team arrived to blow in insulation. We are all ready for summer now, ready for the relentless heat to start!

Single best upgrade I have done for my house. We had insulation blown into the walls in the older half of our house as well as underneath the floors of the raised foundation. The price was beyond reasonable and we could notice a HUGE difference day 1. I recommend it to anyone that has old uninsulated exterior walls in their house.

After getting multiple bids on insulation for my attic, I felt comfortable with Evergaurd right away. Roy came out and looked at my attic and said you should wait a few months to do this and then you can have all the electrtic redone (as it was a fire hazard) - who ever tells you to wait and not rush you into a job so they can get paid??? I felt no pressure like I did from the other companies-none of whom said one thing about the electric- I had come out (some saying if I didn't agree on the spot, would cost 10% more).<br><br>When I finally had the insulation installed, the crew was fast and efficient and made sure to put paper and plastic down to keep everything as clean as possible. Once they got into the attic, I barely noticed they were there. They took all the old insulation out first and vacummed and disinfected everything and then came back a week later so I could deal with the electric, and put in the new insulation. I barely need to turn on my heat now. The insulation really keeps my house warm and when I do turn on the heat, it stays at that temperature for hours. I can't wait to see what happens in the summer when my house usually gets very hot.<br><br>All this to say, I highly recommend Evergaurd. They are professional, do good work, and above all, I trust them. They are all really nice and easy to work with. If you are looking for any insulation work, go with Evergaurd!

This is by far the BEST company you will find, when it comes to insulation. I used them for attic insulation and their quote was the best priced after doing research on at least 5 companies in my area. They were VERY knowledgeable about every aspect of their specialty; something that is not found with businesses today. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions. You will be completely satisfied with hiring them for any job you have. On the day of the insulation Eddy and Jose were quick, on time and professional. I couldn't believe how quick the process was for our 1100 sq foot attic. I wish I could hire Everguard for other home improvement jobs.

This review has been a long time coming. I am so sorry it took me this long to post.<br>I first started with Everguard by having them just insulate my walls. This was because of money and I wasn’t ready to do the attic yet. After reading in a lot of places on the internet a lot of people had said the walls don’t do much. Man was this a lie and a half. The back wall to my house faces West and when the sun sets, this wall will back to the point for hours after the wall on the inside will still be hot to the touch. Once the walls were insulated, I never felt this heat again. Also, I have noticed that even though I had put in new windows (double pain and thicker glass) and doors on the house insulating the walls block even more sound from outside out. I do not remember what was my average temperature Outside Vs Inside before I had the walls insulated but after I was getting about 10 – 15 degree difference from outside Vs inside after the walls were insulated. Keep in mind my attic had zero insulation in about half house and very little in the other half.<br>Now for the attic, I had Everguard clean out my attic completely. I also had half the radiant barrier done myself, so I had Everguard then finish the other half and blown in new insultation. We had issues along way, but this is something you shouldn’t worry about and it was fixed in a timely fashion. After my attic was now done. I am averaging a 15 – 25 degree difference from inside to outside. So much so I do not have to run my AC nearly as much. I know where not into summer yet so these temperature ranges can change, but I am hoping it goes higher and not lower.<br>All in all I am happy and looking forward to have Everguard come back out and insult my crawl space!

Evergaurd was one of 3 different companies we contacted to provide service for cleaning our attic. We had a rat problem prior to putting on a new roof, but after the roof was done, the attic was a disaster. Not only did we have rodent issue but the roof removal left dirt and wood shingles all over the attic. Our HVAC guy clean out our heater but said there was so much dirt we'd have problems. Evergaurd showed up to provide a quote and right from the start was on time, professional and best of all not pushy. They ended up offering both the best pricing and service. Out attic was cleaned, sanitized and sealed, then a clean layer of insulation was finished the job. We could not be happier. Their people are AWESOME. I cannot say enough good things about Everguard. We interviewed several insulation contractors and received several estimates. Everguard was the only company that made us feel comfortable with the complex logistics of blowing in cellulose insulation in our attic crawlspace that had no access. Their job manager Roy put us at ease with a thorough explanation of the process and even recommended a great painter.<br><br>What could have been a two-day job turned into a one-day job because the Everguard team was knowledgeable and experienced. They were able cut access into our kitchen ceiling and blow insulation into the crawl space and only needed to drill holes in our vaulted ceiling to blow cellulose between the rafters. This made our life so much easier and we were able to sleep in our bedroom and not live in a house full of dust.<br><br>I highly recommend Everguard.

I only regret waiting so long to do this for my home. Everguard was able to give me an accurate estimate over the phone, showed up promptly, quickly installed the insulation and patched it and was done in half a day. I had it installed from the outside and they even worked with me on my wood siding. Already the house is holding temperatures more evenly and sounding quieter. This was such an easy yet valuable home upgrade and an enjoyable renovation experience. I would highly recommend to others.

We recently acquired a house that was built in 1959 and had no wall insulation and the heat that radiated through the west and south walls when in the sun was almost unbearable. After some internet searching for a reliable company that perform insulation services I called Everguard Home Insulation and consulted with Steve the owner. He informed me of their cost and more importantly their process for applying the insulation in my walls. I asked to be scheduled for the service and his foreman called me within 15 minutes with their open schedule. They arrived on-time and introduced themselves and ask a few questions advising us to close all windows as there is some dust from boring the holes in the stucco. Two hours later they were done and everything was cleaned up like they were never there. What an improvement on retaining indoor temps and it even acts as a sound deadening to the outside noise.<br>I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to add insulation to and existing home. 5 stars!

A pleasure from start to finish. We had insulation installed in our walls. Roy who did our estimate was professional and very informative about the process. He also inspected our attic. He said the insulation in the attic needed work but instead of pressuring us to do the attic he suggested that we start with the walls to see if we achieve our objectives. Highly recommend Everguard. I’ve worked with them twice on my house, the first time to get blown in insulation in our attic and the second to get it in our walls. Both times they showed up on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up when they were done.<br><br>They also took time to explain any questions I had and were clear on things I could do to prep for the appointment day.<br><br>The attic insulation had a LA DWP rebate that was expiring a couple of weeks after I got it done, so I appreciated that they fit me in their schedule so I could apply in time.<br><br>The in wall insulation is a messier process since they have to drill into stucco, but their patching ended up being really good.<br><br>The results have been fantastic and I can feel a difference in my home and can run the HVAC less often.

I would recommend this company to anyone who wants insulation done. Everyone we had contact with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They all listened to our concerns and answered our questions. They cleaned up and left everything as if they were never here. I would give the ten stars.

I had ash/soot damage which required the removal & installation of insulation in my attic. The process was initially confusing and difficult because of my insurance. Throughout it all, Everguard remained patient, responsive and reassuring. The owner and every single staff member and worker were highly professional, caring and beyond wonderful. My attic was cleaned, sanitized, sealed and re-insulated with hypoallergenic material in 1.5 days. The workers were respectful of our home and insured the surrounding area was kept clean. First off, the insulation was blown into the attic and walls in May but I wanted to wait to write this review until I received my next LA DWP bill.<br><br>Second, these people are the nicest most straightforward people we've ever dealt with. Some of the insulation/energy people were just slick salespeople....not Everguard....not Steve, not Cynthia. Steve and Cynthia were so very nice and polite and so up front about costs and patiently answering many of my questions.<br><br>Third, even their crew was super polite. They were very respectful of our home both inside and out.<br><br>Finally, and most importantly, our energy consumption dropped by 28% compared to last year! Which lowered our DWP bill. One of the best contractors I’ve ever dealt with. They were on time, clean and courteous. The price they quoted me was the most competitive and there was not up selling. I highly recommend Everguard Home Insulation!

The insulation install was up to par. I know this because we were selected for a "random check" by the gas company before we were used our rebate check, and it checked out with them. But the company's disorganization is frustrating. First, they had to leave in the middle of the job because they ran out of gas power for the blowers. Then, they gave me an invoice with my name misspelled (even though I told the tech as soon as I saw the handwritten invoice that I wanted my name spelled correctly; hours later, got a receipt in my email with my name misspelled). Finally, I paid I full with a check before the team left and got a receipt. Two months later, I get an email from the same person who sent me an e-receipt saying he doesn't think I've paid yet. I told him I paid the same day as the install, but he repeatedly emailed me about the "unpaid" invoice, until I sent him a screen capture of the cashed check images.

The crew that came to remove our insulation did a wonderful job. They were very careful to cover everything before they began their work. Our attic space is very clean now with no messes or dirt left in the house. I only wish the other heater company that did our install a few years ago would have been as attentive and not leave messes everywhere in our house when they did their work. We look forward to the insulation install in another week.

Summers in beautiful Westlake Village, CA can be very hot, like 110 degrees during heat waves. The south facing exterior wall of our home radiated heat into the interior raising the temperature inside so substantially that the interior wall was hot, even into the summer evenings. After Everguard Home Insulation's crew neatly and professionally insulation in that wall, that problem was completely solved. The upstairs cooled down and stayed much cooler even with only a downstairs A/C thermostat. We highly recommend this fast response and very respectful crew to help you reach and maintain temperature comfort in your home.

Everguard Home Insulation is a wonderful family owned business. They are competitively priced, caring and responsive.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Everguard. I had a rat problem in my attic, the little bastards had pooed and pissed all over sections of my fiberglass insulation. Everguard could have removed all my insulation (and charged me accordingly) but because my soiled areas were limited they removed just the soiled sections which saved me a bunch of money.<br><br>At my request the removal job and the new insulation job were separated by a few weeks. I was expecting a call from Everguard wanting a payment for the removal but no, they were chill and just let it ride until the installation was done - nice to not be hounded for payment.<br><br>They just finished the installation of new insulation and did a great job. Roy and the crew were fast, friendly but not phony about it. They did everything they said they would and more. For example I had an open HVAC port on the plenum which was dumping cold air into the attic, Roy made me aware of it then offered to tape it up for me.<br><br>This may be the first positive review I've ever written and I'm happy to do it as this is a great company.
