I called the two numbers on the card. The response was timely, professional, immediate & they followed up with me generously. I was blown away to be honest. Upon arrival, Mario spent time clearing the affected areas and checking the other spaces too. He disinfected the trouble spots and was thorough & professional. I'm so glad we hired them, highly recommended!!
I cannot speak to the efficacy of this service, as I did not hire them. What I will speak to are their predatory practices toward people.

When Shai arrived to complete the inspection, he did not introduce himself, nor did he explain what the inspection would entail. He did not give me time to explain my situation, nor did he ask any questions about our current state. He immediately started looking around and making comments about things that were not even in the general area of where our problem was. I tried to explain what he was commenting on, and he blew me off. I made another attempt to explain the situation we were in, and it did not seem as if he cared about what I had to say. He spoke to me in a condescending way, and I felt disrespected immediately and for the entirety of his visit.

Shai looked in my attic, came back down, and launched into a very dramatic speech regarding the state of our infestation. He then provided a quote that was seven times the price of the other quotes I had received to resolve this issue. When I told him this, he mocked me and said, “Well, how many quotes are you going to get?” I will 100 percent get as many quotes as it takes to understand how the industry goes about solving this type of problem.

Shai implied that we had a very serious issue, but in the same conversation slipped up and said, “It’s probably not that severe, we can fix it.” He refused to go on the roof to check those access points, even though we have a brick structure that would be very difficult to breach otherwise. He also missed a potential access point that every other exterminator noticed and pointed out to me. In fact, he did not point anything out to me at all. He simply quoted an extremely high price while stressing the potential mess that would require specialized cleaning to return the attic to a clean state and add new insulation. I received quotes for that as well, and Rodent Stop was also twice as expensive to clean and reinstall new insulation.

It appears that this company relies on fear to pressure people into choosing them. I do not appreciate this sales strategy. We are already scared enough when dealing with this sort of issue. Why on earth would I accept this from someone who is supposed to be helping me?

Proceed with caution, and do not let them manipulate you. Get several quotes so you can make an informed decision.
I have used Rodent Stop for years and I must say they are the best. The most recent was a major job, but Miguel (and Miguel) spent the day going above and beyond. They checked and proofed all areas in and out of the house, and cleaned up to perfection, as well as being polite and explaining things as they went along. I tell everyone this is the best investment I ever made. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I have been calling them for the 7 days to have someone come to pick up dead rats from their traps and they have yet to respond. Only get to speak to their answering service who “says I will send them a message” This is horrible service for as much as I paid them. Over $5000 and was told they will come out whenever you call. The dead rats were stinking and I had to get someone else to dispose of them. Buyer beware!
Addendum: Now that I wrote a bad review you respond? You left no voicemail messages at the number I gave your answering service. None. Quit trying to gaslight people. I never write negative reviews about any service that I have had until now. We purchased our home 8 years ago and hired Rodent Stop because there was a rat infestation in the attic. They cleaned and sanitized the attic and sealed all possible entry points. In 8 years, I have called them twice for maintenance at no further cost. Best investment, I ever made.
What an HONORABLE COMPANY!!
Impeccable with their word, when they say you pay one time, their not kidding... great crew, great results... Unlike any other company very proud and grateful to have been able to work with these folks. We live in a rural area, and were infested with Mice, Rats etc... they came they fixed it, and they left... and when we saw evidence of more mouse/Rat signs, one phone call, scheduled and here!... could not give any company a higher review!

BTW.. their teams attention to Detail was so impressive, and their experience of knowing what to do and where to look is impressive...
It took a few visits for them to completely stop rats from entering the house, but we have been rodent free for more than three years now. Cleaned out all old insulation and replaced with new.
Great job!
We first hired Rodents Stop in around 2016, after we had installed a new roof. Turned out that the contractor had left enough space in a corner for rats to get into our attic, into one of the walls and also the basement. I thought this service was too expensive, but they did a very good job and we didn't have any rat problem for years. Recently, though, in 2023 another contractor did some work that required changing a couple of pipes that went into the crawl space under the house through two of the screened openings, and he took way too long to seal up those screened vents. I kept telling him, "We have a rat problem around here. Please don't leave that open!", to no avail. Then we saw some rat droppings in our basement and even small chunks of insulation being pulled out from underneath our floor. I called Rodent Stop again, and thought they were going to charge us a bunch more since we had opened a way for the rats to get back in. But no! They said there could be a charge of around $300 if the problem was really serious, but when they came out and saw it, they were able to improve the seal on those two screened openings to the crawl space, set out some traps, and they caught the two rats who were down there,--all for no extra charge. I was impressed. Now there have been no more rats for months. They were serious about that "lifetime guarantee"!
The rats were not only gnawing inside the walls, but they created an enormous mess of rat droppings in the crawl space as well as ripping up the under-floor insulation. A neighbor had used Rodents Stop and recommended them. They were on the job in just a few days — three men in white suits for almost the full day cleaning up everything including removing the old insulation, re-covering all of the vents around the house, and closing up every likely entry space. Then there was a break of several weeks with regular approximately-weekly inspections. With the rodents apparently gone, two men then spent a whole day reinstalling the under-floor insulation, and making a final inspection around the house. The overall process was thorough and competent. The price may be high, but the service is substantial and excellent. I highly recommend Rodents Stop.
I will try to keep this short although I could go on and on about how great this company is .... We had rats return year after year until i found Rodent Stop . When I first saw the estimate it seemed costly but i was desperate , and boy am i glad i used them . They did a thorough job making sure the rats were gone and guaranteed they would take care of it if they returned free of charge . this was 2018. I have not had a rat since then but 2 weeks ago( november 2021) i thought I heard something in my crawl space . They came right out, spent an hour making sure everything was sealed well and set traps . NO CHARGE! finally, a company that stands by their
guarantee .... definitely hire them if you want the rodents gone . worth every penny!
Rodent Stop took care of my rat intrusion issue at my home over 7 years ago and haven’t had an issue since. It has been a pleasure to refer them to friends over the last seven years and each one of them had the same experience that I did. Very professional and gets the job done. Highly recommend them.
I called Rodents Stop about an unwelcome rodent problem in my attic. Instead of addressing my concerns in a professional manner, a lady called me and essentially refused service just because I was exploring other options.

Apparently getting quotes from multiple companies to make an informed decision is forbidden with Rodents Stop. Silly me, I didn't realize customer choice was such an offensive concept.

Rest assured I learned my lesson - I'll know better than to expect basic professional courtesy or flexible customer service from them again. Why provide a competitive estimate when you can just browbeat customers into submission instead?

Clearly this company values overinflated egos more than customer satisfaction. I suppose I should be grateful they showed their true colors before wasting my time and money.
Thanks for the enlightening experience, Rodents Stop. I now know exactly where NOT to turn for pest control services in the future.
Very good service. My fathers house had a big rodent issue and for years. They cleaned up the Attick cleared out all droppings and put traps. They also worked with my dad as he’s on a fixed income to be able to pay. Very pleased!
I originally had my pest control company (name brand) try to eliminate the over 120 rats in my house. They charged me a lot and did practically nothing. Rodent Stop was not cheap. But they came in, did a full inspection, removed all attic insulation, set traps everywhere, returned often to check and replace them. When no more rats were left, they scrubbed my attic of rodent waste, then installed brand new insulation. That was many years ago. A couple years later I asked them to do an inspection and they came no charge and were thorough. In all the years since I have never had any sign that I have any rats. If you have an infestation, this is the company to trust to get it right the first time!!!
This is a "5 years later" review. Rodents Stop delivered everything they promised, including free lifetime follow up. Anytime we have work done affecting access points to our house, they are happy to schedule an inspection and free touch up repairs to keep us rodent free. We finally removed all their traps after 5 years because we never had a single problem after they helped us.

Rodent infestation is a sad 3rd world problem. Thank goodness Rodents Stop will do a thorough job trapping/removing/cleaning/disinfecting/sealing to preserve your family's health and property value. Their service is priceless and their friendly work crews earn every penny.

They're a wonderful company to deal with. Thank you from Orange County, Rodents Stop!
I had found a few rat/mouse droppings on the floor in my kitchen and called up Rodents Stop since they were so highly rated. After my interaction with them, I am highly surprised. The "inspector" came over, I showed them the little bit of droppings from the night before and he immediately started saying that my house was completely infested and that they were most likely under the house and in the attic, needless to say I freaked. He then looks in my attic and says it is overrun with droppings and what needed to happen was they need to remove everything including the insulation, and then clean, fumigate, check and seal any entry points. He even showed me a picture of my attic and sure enough poop everywhere. His quote was $12,500!!! I have a 1400 sq ft house....I had 2 others come over and not only is there not an infestation he didn't even show me a picture of my attic, he showed me a picture of AN attic. What an absolute scam. My problem is very minor as per the other 2 and is only costing me $750 total.
They were professional in dealing with us. They keep their schedule and they worked with our schedule too. They also changed our insulation after clean up of the entire attic space & we're pleased with the job they did. Overall, we're happy & will gladly recommend them to anyone.
Rodent Stop team was really great. They took care of the rodents, cleared out material in the attic, and sealed off access points to my house. This was a few years ago and I have not had a reoccurrence of the problem. I know they will come out if I do. I highly recommend their services.
Our attic insulation was dirty and had been soiled by some tree rats that managed to gain entry. We had previously contacted a different service that had been highly recommended. A rep from that company came out, spent five minutes in the attic, didn't even measure the area for pricing purposes and said we would get an estimate via e mail by the end of the day - but we didn't. After we contacted them we did get an estimate/contract. We e mailed back with a question about the contract but never heard from them again. So we called Rodent Stop.

The RS salesman spent about 25 minutes here. Did a walk around the exterior of the house identifying possible areas of intrusion, measured the attic space, and inspected the crawl space and attached garage.
We got a quote in a day. It was significantly more than the quote from the previous company but they did honor a 10% discount mentioned on their website. Also, the initial contract they sent specified R30 insulation instead of the R38 which the sales rep indicated would be used. When we pointed that out they apologized and sent a revised contract, priced the same. (If you use them read the contract terms carefully.)

RS removed and disposed of all the old insulation, sealed all the potential points of critter entry, vacuumed the entire attic, sprayed some rodent deterrent and put in all new insulation. During the four weeks between the cleaning and new insulation install they came back three times to check the traps they set to make sure there were no critters left. None were found. The workers were all great, easy to work with and very accommodating. HOWEVER, there were some minor things that were part of the experience that I should mention.

During the attic cleaning, some dust and dirt rained down through the seams in the living rooms vaulted wood ceiling and covered all the furniture and rugs. RS offered to hire a service to clean it and gave us the option of using our own service which is what we did and they gave us a $200 credit. When they did future work they tarped the entire living room.

On the morning of the scheduled insulation install they called to reschedule because the insulation was not available and apologized for the delay. When they came back two days later we pointed out that the insulation they brought with them was R30 and not the contracted R38. Again they apologized and two hours later the R38 insulation arrived and was installed.

Even though they are expensive and there were some glitches, they did a quality job and we would consider using them again but hopefully will never need them
The inspector went into the attic where we had heard the pests, returning with pictures of the Rodent droppngs and urine and the rat tunnels in our insulation in the attic. They were able to start the job the very next day and spent an entire day going through the attic and crawl space locating and screening off all rodent entry points. The technicians themselves were very neat, clean and professional. Subsequently, they have returned to service the traps they set to catch and eliminate any rats still caught in the attic and crawl after the attic and crawl space had been screened off.
Since having their service we haven't seen as many rats outside nor heard them in the attic.
I would recommend this company without hesitation. I have found their staff to be courteous, professional and attentive.
We live on the edge of a brush area and had looked for rodent abatement which worked for over a decade. Nothing worked before Rodent Stop. Sealing out mice and rats is not easy. But Rodent Stop continued coming out until they achieved success. About 8 visits in total; always responding within days of a call. We've now gone over a year with no entries into the house. They honor their guarantee. Their people are very professional.
Update in response to your reply:
I never said anything about being "shut down" not sure where that came from. I called and spoke with someone who said prices went up. Never did I not give you the opportunity to make things right. Again maybe you are replying to someone else's review which would make sense with your lack of professionalism. My review holds true if you would like to be taken advantage of and misled this is the Rodent company for you.

I would first like say that Rodent Stop asked for my review... I did try to handle this matter directly with the office and was shut down. I have a 1200 square foot single story slab foundation home. We found evidence of a rodent in our garage for the first time in 18 years. No evidence in the house, no noises, smell, etc. We called Rodent Stop for their opinion. The technician came in and said we had an "INFESTATION". He said it would take 5 weeks to eradicate our infestation. He said they may have to cut holes in our inside walls, remove our attic insulation, etc. Sounded scary! He said a whole crew would be coming in hazmat suits and would be working full days from the crack of dawn until late evening until all was remedied. So for a price of just about $6,000. We felt we had to because we had an "INFESTATION". So a few days later the crew of three not in hazmat suits, but regular clothes arrives by being dropped off. For the 6 hours total it took for them to service my house, only one gentleman worked and the other two sat on my porch watching videos on their phones. They blocked off most holes in the garage to the attic, and did a great job with that. They found a small bit of evidence in our attic insulation that they put in a small kitchen bag and put in our trash having stated they would pack out any evidence and take with them. They never ever found or caught any rodents that day or any day since. Don't forget we had an "INFESTATION"! That was it, one guy working for maybe 6 hours including lunch, set up, clean up, etc. They came back 3 weeks later to check it out, the gentleman was at our house for 13 minutes total. No evidence... The next visit the gentleman was there for 7 minutes. Left the sticky traps that had caught a lizard in the garage and didn't offer to replace the one with the dead lizard but just left it. They have never come back since. For the 6 hours of work they did, maybe $1800 would have possibly been fair with a "lifetime" warranty... but $6,000. That's crazy! I called the office and asked why it was so much. I asked for an itemized invoice so I can see what all cost what it did. She told me their prices had "gone up". She put together the most vague inconclusive invoice I have ever seen to try to justify the pricing. No call to come back for our "complimentary" third check. I think they came and saw a small but nicely maintained house and decided what to charge us on that. 1200 square foot house + never catching one Rodent =$6000 $1000 an hour charge seems like I should change professions.
We live on the fringe of the Santa Monica Mountains and coexist with all the critters in the wild. We were plagued by rodents. They destroyed plants, our vegetable garden, ate the fruit out of our trees before we could enjoy any of it, gnawed on drip irrigation plumbing, electrical wiring, automobile insulation and wires and ate their way into our home’s walls, the ceilings and even into our. furniture. They ate a portion of a $8,000 Antique Oriental Rug, destroying it. We tried common exterminators, traps, sonic devices, you name it. We then tried Rodent Stop. The cost gave us pause but we bit! Their tram spent the better part of a week on the property removing nests, rodent feces, cleaning crawl spaces, opening walls, ceilings and storage areas, removing soiled insulation and replacing it, restoring drywall and wainscoting and getting gnawed wiring repaired. The infestations ceased. We had a couple of follow on issues with re-invasions under the house but Rodent Stop responded immediately, closed the missed holes, set traps, caught the invaders and dispatched their carcasses straightaway. We have some minor activity externally but compared to the original situation, it’s manageable. Rodent Stop does what they say they will do. I recommend you consider their solutions.
I was very happy with their professional work. They came back 3-4 times after sealing up the home to check for rodents. We haven't had any issue since then. Very responsive, hard-working guys. About 1/3 of the cost of the other companies we got quotes from.
I used Rodents Stop to replace my old attic insulation and to seal and rodent proof. They did an excellent job from start to finish. The lifetime guarantee was the biggest selling point for me because now if I ever have an issue again, I can just call them and they’ll handle it without further expense to me. The workers were cautious and cleanly and took care each day to make sure my home was clean before they signed off for the day. I would definitely highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to rodent proof their home. Don’t waste your time and money on an exterminator who wants you to have a rodent problem so they have a job.
I had a great experience with Rodents Stop. It’s been 3 years and never had another rat in my roof or under house or anywhere. If I did suspect one, I have just called them and they sent people to check, free of charge.
Although it was a bit expensive at first, the peace of mind and confidence in their company is totally worth it!
I didn’t check “value” because the treatment is so expensive that it’s hard to measure the value over a relatively short time. What we are paying for is quality, professionalism, responsiveness and punctuality, all of which were exceptional. We had to call them back once when a varmint forced it’s way into an attic. Rodent Stop responded immediately, removed the critter and re-plugged the access point. In 5 or 10 more years I’ll probably check the “value” button as well.
I’m glad we hired Rodent Stop, and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to pay once and be done with the rodent problems.
As a property manager, it gives me peace of mind to know that the property is protected against such pests and the diseases they carry.
I had a major rat problem. I tried everything to try and get rid of them with no luck. They kept finding ways to get into my attic. I called Rodent Stop and I was amazed at their quick response and they're concern for my problem. Turns out I had a family of rats living in my attic. They got rid of the rats, closed up all the holes that they could possibly get into. They set extra traps and came back immediately if I had any other problems. Since then I have been rat free! They also sanitized the attic and changed the insulation. It was a big job but they worked with me on the payments and I was able to afford it. I highly recommend this company.
I recently discovered I had a rodent problem in my attic during a home inspection. I immediately contacted Rodent Stop based on reviews. They came out immediately, explained what the plan was after inspecting my attic and came out the next day. They spent the entire day cleaning, sanitizing, sealing all potential entry points and remediating. It's been about 2 weeks since the initial remediation and zero activity has been found. Very pleased with the main office and the workers. I have peace of mind now. Thank you!!!!
By far.......exceeded our expectations. They pulled out all of our rat waste soiled insulation, vacuumed all areas to remove all toxins the rats left behind, sanitized the entire area, sealed all potential access points thoroughly and professionally, and then set traps to ensure all rodents were gone and weren't getting back in. I would not go to anyone else. Even an HVAC contractor who sees these kind of issues all the time was thoroughly impressed with their attention to detail and workmanship of the access point sealing they performed.
I used their service in 2015, They were a life-saver. For months, I have mice in my roof and making noise at night, and no pest control I used/the HOA used could ever get rid of it, until I came cross Rodents Stop. They are very experience, and initial consultation didn't take long at all for them to put together a plan. A week later, a team showed up with professional gears and tools. Issue is resolved ever since, and I cannot be a much happier homeowner. Their quote may seem pricey at the beginning, but after seeing what they are capable of, and their promise of life-long warranty, I'd say it's money well-spent.
Rodents Stop guarantees their work! This is not just a promotional "hook" that is used to get you to use their services, these people really do honor their warranty. They have gone out to my home no less that six times now since the work was completed late last year. Heather is always their to help and the crews they send out are very courteous! Call them now for any rat problem, you will not regret it!
Customer service was excellent!!! What an outstanding experience in every respect. The company employees were attentive, very knowledgeable, convenient, fair, and informative and super helpful. Clearly they love customers and great with what they do. It's a great feeling when a service goes out of the way to be helpful. It was also memorable how they took ownership to solve a problem that was created by no fault of theirs and then they even said THANK YOU for my business. They stand head and shoulder with the rest!!!

Thank you so much Rodent Stop for treating me well! ::))
