He was thorough and informative and got us scheduled before the year’s end. Their workers were at our house while other companies were just reaching out to offer consultation. My wife and I were extremely pleased with Insulation Commandos’ hardworking crew. David, Jeremy, Akeem, and Andrew. Their steady communication kept us updated about each step in the procedure. They carefully prepped our house before removing the old attic insulation and cleaned up thoroughly after their first day on the job was done. They returned the next day to blow in new insulation and again left our home fully cleaned up. This crew was as pleasant as they were efficient - we are glad to have a clean, well-insulated attic! David took before, during and after pictures which allowed my wife to see our attic which looks great. We had this company remove our old insulation and install rockwool insulation and other insulation along our knee walls. They were timely and the job was done in two days. I am waiting for pictures. Taping off the area could have been better as the insulation seemed to go everywhere. Clean up could have been better.

We had attic insulation and rodent proofing a lengthy process all together it took a couple of weeks. The men that worked on my property were courteous and took great care of my property and keeping everything covered and clean. Altogether a great experience. Thank you insulation commandos!

Everyone, Albert, Mason, David, Jeremy and team all have an incredible work ethic. They explain everything that is going to transpire and what you should expect. They arrived bright and early and got to work. They were done in one day! They cleaned out the old insulation and removed trash we didn't even know was in the attic before putting in new insulation.

I am looking to insulate the exterior walls of our 1960's era home, and was referred to Insulation Commandos via Angie's List. Despite not wanting to have the work done for some six months (and I was truthful enough to tell them that), they were not fazed, and willing to come out and provide me an estimate so I can do the 'start to set aside money' thingy so we would be ready. Knowing that, they still set up an appointment time, were in touch with me, happily showed up some 5min before that time, and spent time sizing up the house/job, and talking with me about the options and answering my questions, and gave me extra tips to think about for the project that made me smarter! Truthfully, I cannot vouch for the quality of their work (yet), and will circle back in the future after we do get the job done. However, I give a 10 star rating, and would tell you to have them send David Cortez as the person you require to come out and size up your project. You'll be happy that you did.

The great team at Insulation Commandos did an amazing job of removing tattered insulation and installing rolled-in and blown in insulation in our cramped attic space. I'm usually a DIY kind of homeowner but this job is better left to professionals. I would use them again if needed

We received 3estimates for our attic refurbishment. We went with Commando Insulation due to their professional presentation and that they were military veterans. The first day, the arrived on time and ready to work. 3 guys showed up and spent time covering the carpet leading to bedroom, covered our bed, clothes and the got to work. They probably removed close to 40 large bags of old insulation. I was happy to know there were no rodents. They dressed appropriately, dust and debris was not tracked in the house. When they were done for the day, the covering over the bed was removed and area cleaned. Day 2, the plastic coverings were replaced and it took all day to install not only new insulation, but the recommended reflective barrier to the ceiling and walls of the attic. At the end of the day, the guys cleaned up and we couldn’t be happier. This is part of home maintenance and our energy bills should be reduced. I want to thank Ozzy, Frank, Michael, Raul and Chris for their excellent service and would recommend this company to anyone needing attic insulation replacement.

They were very easy to work with, they documented all the work. In less than a week I had someone evaluate the work needed and complete. They were also way more affordable than 2 other companies I contacted prior to them.

We had rats in our attic. I called many companies. I had several lowball offers but no guarantee. I called Rodent Stop and was quoted over 14K with no radiant heat barrier. Installation Commandos gave me the best price for a complete job of rodent removal, removal and replacement of installation, and installing a radiant heat barrier. 10.5K for their best product. House now meets California's new build standards. Everyone I contacted was very professional. The workers wore protective gear and were very courteous. They left no mess. 25 on a scale of 10. It has been 10 months since the instalation. We used out A/C no more than a dozen times and now seldom do we need the house heater. Best money I ever spent.

We had a good experience with this company. The salesperson was very nice. He explained everything to us clearly. He was on time. He evaluated two properties on the same day. We received a through and clear estimate for both properties. It was not an over the phone per square footage estimate, he actually came out. We did not feel pressure to use them. They have completed the work on one property, and we are waiting for the insurance to complete the other one. My husband was very satisfied with the work and our tenants did not express any complaints.

This is a house project we've thought about for years we did our due diligence in researching value and experience of the company. We worked with Curtiss who came to the house for our free estimate, he spent a lot of time in the attic to get a lot of pictures and proper square footage. He was very professional and explained their options efficiently. We were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of Frank and Isai, they showed up on time, worked diligently to complete the project. They were very helpful with answering questions there were no surprises at the end and did a wonderful job cleaning up highly recommend them.

REVIEW UPDATE: August 5,2024, So wanted to update this review. Had their work almost a year ago. The fan was installed in the attic, when first initially installed worked but had a situation with it. As it was connected to the control of the light. So requested someone to come and just reconnect it. Someone came who was not an electrician and could not do the job. I was fine with the fan not working in the mean time as it was winter time. Moving forward to now. Had an electrician take a look at the connection so not to be a bother. I find out its the fan thats not working. Today Mario came and changed the Fan without no hassle. Thanks again guys for the great service. Tod, Mike, Kevin, Dustin, and their team were really great. Had a difficult situation with our project. Aspestos was discovered in our attic by one of their guys. So they couldn't do the work done until the Aspestos was removed. They were great at rescheduling to another day. Working and communicating with me about the project. Then, when their day for installation came, another situation happened where the company who was supposed to remove the Aspestos did not finish the job. They were very patient and waited for the other company to remove the Aspestos. When it was their turn, they moved fast and efficiently. They cleaned the attic, did rodent seal and air seal, and installed R38 all in the same day. Thanks for the great work.

After having a new air conditioning system installed, to replace an old inefficient one, we decided to make sure our attic had the correct insulation as well as the appropriate R-value. Since our home was built in the 1950's, the insulation throughout the attic was minimal. We hired Insulation Commandos to survey and provide us with the appropriate solution. The solution involved removal of the old insulation, cleaning the area, and installing the correct insulation based on our home's location. We now believe we can keep our energy costs down and provide less strain on our AC system. Great job team!
