I also used a coupon and was quoted around $250. for air vent cleaning. Once the tech evaluated he highly recommended that I do a cleaner and then a sealer. Total was up to $600.. so much for the coupon!@?! He called and spoke with the boss and said he could do $500.. The tech was nice but I won’t be using there services again.

I did use a coupon for the duct cleaning so I do wonder if the service is not "full" service. Dust was blown everywhere, I'm still cleaning it up. The vents were not all cleaned and those that were weren't done very well. The boss called constantly so the tech may have been new. It seemed like he was being rushed. I had a lot more work done than what the coupon was for so maybe they didn't plan on that happening. The tech did a couple of before pics but no after pics so I don't know how clean the ducts are but they are cleaner than when we started. I also ended up sending my living room area rug with them to clean. They had it done in a couple of days. It looks great!<br><br>UPDATE: Jose came out and redid all of the work I originally had done. The vents look much better. Hopefully I won't have the dust when the heater comes on anymore. He cleaned up the floors and anything that he noticed were from the first tech.

DuctKing’s Dan Campbell is an expert furniture cleaner! Purchased a very expensive white sofa, second-hand, with several visible stains. They sent out some techs the first time who did a solid all around clean but couldn’t figure out how to get the stains out. Then free of charge they sent out Dan who used his expert knowledge to restore it to its former glory. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

Very disappointed with the price. My parents had a coupon for a vent cleaning for $99.95. It said it included the following<br>8 VENTS & 1 RETURN<br>• All Vents Brushed and Extracted<br>• FREE Organic Deodorizer<br>• FREE Camera Inspection<br>• FREE Air Flow Check<br>That was not the problem. The problem came when the guys doing the job started telling my parents about all these problems supposedly the system had. My parents started getting worried about it so they accepted to get a deeper cleaning (which was only adding a type of sanitizer to the vents) no extra cleaning or scrubbing. The total that came out for that small service was $480. This company is a complete scam and I would stay away from it. Again yes my parents accepted but they were under the impression that if they didn’t do it then the a/c vents would not function. ZERO STARS for this bs company.

Extreme Bait-and-Switch Tactics - Avoid This Company<br><br>I am writing this review to warn others about the deceptive practices of Duct King. Our experience was a textbook bait-and-switch scam, and I do not want anyone else to fall victim.<br><br>We booked a duct cleaning service after receiving a clear, upfront quote of $70 by prior telling that the vent duct is on roof and we were told yes, it is covered. However, on the day of the service, the technician arrived and immediately shifted into high-pressure scare tactics. He claimed our ducts were a severe fire hazard and presented other alarming (and likely exaggerated) issues that were never mentioned during the booking.<br><br>Feeling concerned and pressured on the spot, we were presented with a final bill that was more than triple the original quote for services and "necessary" repairs we never agreed to and were not disclosed beforehand. The initial low price was simply a trap to get in the door.<br><br>This is not professional service; it is a scheme designed to frighten homeowners into paying for expensive, unplanned work. The lack of transparency and the predatory upselling are unacceptable.<br><br>BEWARE: If you book with Duct King, the price you are quoted is almost certainly NOT the price you will pay. They will use fear to inflate your bill significantly. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for honest and reputable service providers.

Jose did great service. He fixed a dryer vent on our roof. He was very friendly and great customer service. Only thing I did have a concern about was the initial price that was stated before he did the work and fo some reason the price was about a $100 more when the job was done. There was some miscommunication but DuctKing took care of it which was still kind of high for not owning the home which was explained to Jose at start.

Your service man was great to work with. He explained what really needed to be done to improve the looks, smell & the rejuvenation of my carpet for longer & better wear. Jose cleaned my dryer vent in a very timely manner with skill and a great smile. I appreciate him taking the time to explain what different scenarios could happen before he even started sinse the hose hasn't been cleaned out in the 15 years I've owned this house and who knows if the previous owners ever did it!<br>I have an interior wall and a high cathedral ceiling so my 22' vent hose goes up into the attic and out of the sloped roof. Lots of old lint was revealed and I'm so glad I got it done by Duct King. Now my dryer works 10 times better.

Edit 11/06/2025: The Operations Manager gave me a call the morning after my initial review was posted. He stated that he was extremely disappointed that initial contractors did such a poor job and offered to schedule a more experienced staff member to come perform the work as it should have been done from the beginning. He was able to immediately schedule me for same day service. Phil and Josh came and did a wonderful, thorough job. They were both patient and explained the process and provided additional information regarding typical frequency and services that would usually be done. Phil also gave information based on both recommended frequencies and budget-conscience frequencies. Had Phil and Josh come the first time around this would have been a 5-star review. I appreciate the follow-up and would certainly do business again, as long as the work is done the way Phil and Josh did it.<br><br>Original Review 11/05/2025: Cannot recommend. Requested a dryer vent extraction and a supply vent + return extraction. It was a 30 minute job using $20 tools that can be had from Amazon. You are essentially paying a significant sum for them to drive out to you.<br><br>Regarding the supply vent + return extraction, they only went through 4 of the 7 vents that we had. When questioned about it, they just glossed over it. I let it be since they seemed to have no intention to do anything more about it.<br><br>Regarding the dryer vent, this was as expected. Again, anyone could do it with a $20 brush from Amazon, but fair enough for the cost of the trip and labor.<br><br>Regarding the sanitizer and sealer, I'm not even sure what they did. They simply said they did it, and I saw no materials, no tools, and was told the vacuum they use to extract the dust is an all-in-one sanitizer/sealer/vacuum device. It seems the customer is regarded to be an idiot.<br><br>All in all it was $348.43, when its advertised at $99.95 for the supply vent, $69.95 for the dryer vents.<br><br>Also, they charged for the return vent work when they didn't even open the return vent at all. I will be reporting this to the Attorney General's Office. Maybe nothing will come of it, but this level of service is absolutely unacceptable at this cost rate.<br><br>Edit: I forgot to add that they also left every vent area dirty with dust. No vacuuming, no cleaning. They even asked me to use my dust pan and broom.

Dusty was very knowledgeable about how to clean my air ducts, and how to check for anything else that needed attention. He explained everything amazingly thoroughly! I really appreciated his cheerfulness and his confidence in his trade! I would recommend his service to everyone!

This company sends a flyer out weekly. To get services for a reasonable price and then bait and switch I asked for a basic carpet cleaning( Per the coupon advertisement $34.75 for 5 rooms ) at the bottom of the coupon it says visibly soiled carpet will require preconditioning at 25 cents per square foot we highly recommend 3M Scotchgard protector. So I asked can I just get the basic service I do not want the preconditioning. He said no we have to come out and look at the carpet and decide whether we're going to charge you the 25 cents per square foot I said I have brand new carpet see in pictures ...I'm sorry ma'am he said it doesn't work that way do not use this company with a coupon... to me this is false advertising because you should have the right to use the coupon and have the basic service without adding anything on and he said they make that decision that is false advertising. 🤦 So I give them a one star as a Google reviewer.

My mom wanted to support a local trusted business and we are glad and lucky to have seen their advertisement in the local mailers. It was 100% the right call as the entire process was incredibly painless and wonderfully pleasant. Great with the family, great with the dogs, respectful of the whole house from the art on walls to the clean up afterwards to the paperwork at the end to walking out the door. Personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy, Dusty and Louis went out of their way to make my mom feel safe and secure while they were working as well as explaining everything they worked on. Shapiro/Sean did a good job on the vent cleaning at my parents home. He showed a video of the blockage from the roof for full transparency.<br>I am displeased with the company credit card policy. With today’s technology there is NO reason to write down the entire card number, expiration and code to be processed by the office over the phone. Fraud is a real issue these days.

Ductking came out today for an estimate for my home which I purchased in July. I had seen their ad in the weekly ads we get from the mail with an offer that felt affordable to me. Jose, the technician, came out with his technician and I have to say; I am thankful. They explained the whole process, quoted me right then and there and when I agreed to the quote, they got to work! So I want to start this off by saying.. 3 other companies quoted me over 20,000 to fix all my issues. John and his crew of 3 guys did it for almost half…. And they found even more stuff that needed to be fixed…even then… still less than the other 3 companies. They were here until dark and back again at 9 am. 2 days to knock it out… I miss being in my 30’s when I could do this crap…. I don’t miss being on roofs in 100+ degrees tho. Bless them.<br><br>I am not good at social media internet stuff but I wanted to leave a honest review. They showed up on time, John shook my hand and introduced himself, every single one of his helpers followed suit. They all referred to me as Mr. Or Sir. I was seriously blown away by the professionalism. The last guy who came and gave me a 20,000 bill called me bro and dude. No, I am not joking. So that was refreshing. They got straight to work looking at everything that needed attention, gave me a $600+ discount right off the bat for being a veteran, and John sat down with my wife and I and went over every photo slide by slide so I knew not only exactly what the condition was, but how it was going to be fixed. I cannot recommend this company enough. John and his crew were extremely polite, well mannered and picked up every spec of dust they made. 1 of his helpers his entire job was to follow them with a portable vacuum and clean as they went through the house. Seriously. Extremely meticulous. I can say with certainty that they do good quality work at a good rate. I was out in the back cooking hotdogs for his crew and watching football. It was nice to not have to micromanage and worry if it was being done right. The finished product looked great, John showed me everything before and after, and I actually got up on the roof to see for myself and he was more than happy to assist me and go over everything. I’ve used serval companies in the past for various things, I will now be calling and asking for John and his crew for anything that comes up home related. Best service I’ve had in a long time. We originally had a young man come out on the 24th to take care of some services. He was really nice, and shame on me for signing and assuming he did a good job, but when he left we realized that there was dust everywhere on the floor, on our beds. We took off one of the vents and we noticed that the ducts and vents were still very dirty! To the point that we concluded that he probably didn’t do anything. We called SteamKings back and they quickly rescheduled another tech to come out the next day.<br><br>The next day Shapour/Sean came out and assured us that he will go over all the work to ensure that it was done correctly. When he inspected it he realized that everything was still very dirty. He took his time cleaning out all the vents, ducts and even cleaned the air handlers and coils that should have been done. While cleaning he took time to show me the results to make sure I was pleased with the work. Sean took his time cleaning and making sure everything was put back in its place. He was meticulously careful in not creating a mess and cleaning up after himself which the first technician wasn’t.<br><br>I am very pleased with his work and professionalism. I wouldn’t have any problems having Sean help me on future projects as I know he will do a fantastic job.

I called this morning at 730am for a quote. Got a great deal and same day appt. They called to update me they were on their way, earlier than expected which worked out great. Had my air ducts cleaned by Dustin, price quoted was $99.95 for 8 vents and 1 return when I called but I had a few more than what the special included. Dustin counted all the vents and did his inspection and gave me a clear and honest quote. A couple hours later he notified me that the work had been completed, after inspection I was beyond pleased with the work and price I paid. Definitely will recommend this service company to family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate using them again.
