I had my MacBook stolen by a tech and nothing was done. Once I advised the supervisor about this matter he stopped answering the phone.
Keith is great and does a very thorough job when spraying my units. I haven’t had any pest problems while working with him or Orkin and plan to use them in the years ahead as long as they keep up the great work!
We've had a great experience with Orkin! From the first phone call to the follow-up visits, their team has been professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. The technician arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and addressed all of our pest concerns thoroughly. We noticed a significant improvement after just one treatment, and their ongoing service has kept our home pest-free. I appreciate their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Highly recommend Orkin to anyone looking for reliable pest control!
Scheduled 2 appointments for yearly inspection. No one showed. First time no one told me they could not make it. Was told they were sick. Rescheduled and no one showed the second time. Asked for my contract to be suspended. Was charged for annual fee. Asked for reimbursement and to date have not received any reimbursement for the yearly subscription that I have canceled over the phone and via email. My recommendation to anyone reading this review is to go to another pest control services provider for your needs and peace of mind.
My sales guy was great. My service guy was phenomenal. I just can’t ever reach someone in the office by phone.
Overcharging, any other company will do the exact same job, with same material for half the price. Plus they sold my information so I have been getting non stop spam emails and calls. For your own sake please pick any other company.
Had an appointment scheduled for Saturday. No one showed up or reached out to reschedule. I called Monday to get an appointment and they abruptly hung up and when calling back kept putting off scheduling so decided not to waste any more time and took business elsewhere.
I spent 10k on orkin attic insulation. The installers ended up damaging my ceiling in 2 places .I was told by the manager Justin Richardson, to have it fixed and send my invoices for reimbursement. 6 weeks later, no money. He blames it on corporate. I do not recommend the Huntsville orkin office. They only care about taking your money and running from their responsibility. Hire a local service and avoid Mr Richardson at all costs.
Never use these people they said it would be 200$ to start service. And 50$ a month well they only came one month and canceled. Now they want me to start new service. Yes with a better company.
Great experience with Orkin. Our technician, Matt, is very responsive to our tenant needs.
Had service put on hold in Jan /Feb. 2024 for future next quarter service beginning on May 2024. Orkin billed for service anyway. Called and the billing was reversed quickly and without hassle. I appreciated the promptness.
My Rep, Scott Brown, is the best in the business!He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. No task is too small or large, he treats every visit with urgency and importance. Since having him at this location, things have improved greatly. My only request is that you don't re-assign him. LolHe is a model representative for your company. You are lucky to have him!!
We switched to Orkin after having a company that could not keep up with the demand and coverage space for our needs for our warehouse. We had a sales manager reach out to us and was out within 2 days to access the property and to advise the needs for what we needed. They were prompt, honest and very helpful! Highly recommend, no issues and they email all invoices and service notes.
Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! We have struggled with German cockroaches for over a year now and have been paying a monthly fee for service. When we finally consulted another exterminator (Do or Die) he discovered that Orkin was not even activating the roach growth inhibitors after placing them. Do or Die also told us that we only need to do a 1 time intense service including flushing out the kitchen cabinets. No matter how many times I begged Orkin they only ever lightly sprayed around the kitchen and did not solve our problem. Likely so that we would continue to pay monthly. Horrible.
Called yesterday (Thursday) due to a wasp infection in my home... told them I was not sure if there was a nest/where it would be, but my fireplace could be a possibility. But again, I wasn't sure. They let me book a free inspection and said someone would be over today (Friday) between 10am-12pm. I called them this morning to confirm and was immediately put on hold. They told me that no one was coming today because they don't handle fireplaces... I told them this would have been good to know before making an appointment with them, but again, I didn't actually know if it was in the fireplace. All I wanted at this point was to identify where they were coming from regardless if they could remove it or not... the wasps could have been in the vents, anywhere else, not just the fireplace! She tells me OK, but no one can come out today. I asked why when I literally had an appointment and called out of work to be able to accommodate them coming over... she said they canceled my appointment the night before. So my appointment was preemptively canceled...? because they "don't do fireplaces, walls, or anything inside..." according to the woman on the phone. I want to emphasize that it was not confirmed ever on my end that the wasps were coming from my fireplace area, it was an idea that I threw around when I made the appointment that THEY ALLOWED me to make... now all of a sudden no one's available and they don't do indoors? What type of pest company tells you they "don't do indoors..."? The woman kept speaking over me and interrupting me when I tried to explain why I was upset. She then said they don't do apartments either... so why was I even allowed to book in the first place? She also claimed I would have been called this morning by them to explain the cancellation, but I doubt it. Thank goodness I called.<br><br>I have wasps flying around my apartment so it's nice that I waited on a company that can't tell their right foot from their left. I could have spent this time booking with someone else or being visited as I write this.
Not sure how there are so many positive reviews. We tried out Orkin and our first visit entailed visits including: no shows with no apologies / explanation, random $250 hidden fees for basic things that should have been included in our quarterly service, VERY late technicians, technicians using inhumane glue traps after assuring us that they never use those, doing really bad and visible exclusion work on the exterior of our home and having to have a supervisor come back and fix it, technicians leaving foam all over the back yard and panicked us when my dog ate it, being assured I would get a call back and having to call multiple times before reaching someone… we are super unhappy with Orkin and would advise others to look elsewhere. The technicians were nice, but that’s about it. A rodent extermination visit should take 2-3 visits, not 10.
I am actually surprised to see the good review this company has. We were with Orkins(in atlanta) for sometime and expected they were doing their job diligently. Our trust broken when I stumbled up on several holes and tracks around the house which orkin's inspection should have picked up. I called them and made appointment so that their inspector come and give us their advise. We were given a two hours window for the inspector appointment. We took time out of our very busy schedule to meet the inspector at our house but he ended up not showing up. No one call us to reschedule. I called and complained, and made another appointment. For the second appointment the inspector showed up and advised that they will close those holes around the house. He gave us appointment for that and again didnt show up on the appointment date. Finally, we brought in another company(Breda pest control). They did very good inspection of the house and found out rat dropping everywhere in the basement. Now I have to pay 3000 dollars to takecare of all those problems. Moreover, We have also been seeing cockroaches despite orkin's supposed pest control intervention. Overall, we got a very substandard and unprofessional service from Orkin's. Seems like they care about the money they collect but not the quality of service and professionalism they deliver. As i regret the service we bought from them, I am also happy I didnt seuscribe their termite prevention package as I was very close from buying it from them before I discover all these problems around the house.
I’ve been trying to reach someone for weeks about cancelling my account and have left several messages. No one calls you back or responds. Giving three stars because the technician who services our house, Vic, is amazing and so friendly.
Orkin worked well for me for about a year. I had the same attentive person who came to my home every other month and chatted with me about my needs.<br><br>However, then I began getting my reminders late--even just the day before service sometimes. I would scramble to rearrange my schedule or have to call the office if I was going out of town. If there were billing schedule conflicts, then it was often difficult to find a solution. Further, I had a new person in my place for almost every treatment. I finally quit Orkin when I got another late reminder, arranged to be home before going out of town, and the person showed up (I saw the vehicle outside). Then they texted me that they were "on their way," "they had arrived," and that "I was not available so I would need to call and reschedule"...all within a few minutes of each other! They didn't even knock or ring my doorbell.<br><br>I called and spoke to the manager to cancel my account. I got a paper bill for my last service a month later on a Monday (I had previously been on autopay). I called and left a message at my local office and sent an email through the corporate website. I didn't hear from anyone. Then I got a collections notice via email on that Thursday. I believe that the manager fully meant for this to happen so it would hit my credit. finally got a hold of someone in my local office that Thursday. I confirmed that my service was cancelled and the charge was removed with the corporate office on Friday.<br><br>I'm sure it depends on the branch and the employees who you are working with, but this is my experience in a residential area of Chamblee, GA.
Orkin goes back to my younger years. My mom always used Orkin. John was very professional, on time and took his time with my inspection and spraying our home. I will highly recommend Orkin Pest Control. Also, I spoke to AJ to start my initial service and he took care of me over the phone. Very professional, patient and explained everything to me.
the service is great all the techs and people I've spoken with on the phone are friendly . The communication, although automated, is very efficient regarding appointments and/or appointment updates. Techs notify you when they're on the way, as well as when they pull up front. All-around great company as far as I've dealt with them
My regular technician, for bugs is excellent. The rodent control people are not. They were paid last February an astronomical sum to eliminate an infestation. They were supposed to rodent proof my home. They used plastic mesh which the rodents promptly chewed through. It took them until August to put metal mesh in place. They have repeatedly refused to return my phone calls and repeatedly refused to deal with the continuing issue. I have lost thousands in food, and possessions. They finally deigned to come out on Monday. We will see. I am not impressed. My Dachshund killed 42. I have trapped more than 30. Orkin? Not a one. I want those rodents out of my home and I want my money back.
Very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have additional problems they are quick to come out and resolve them at no additional cost. Other services can be more cost effective but Orkin earns what they cost.
They charge you for months they do not show up. I have called 20 times left 20 messages no call back. I've talk to managers about my mosquito problem. Promise is not met. They come spray for three seconds and leave. It's been a horrible mistake. And now my problem is worse than before. Last time they were here they said they couldn't spray because dogs were left outside. I don't have any dogs.
Riverhead, Long Island, New York..,..<br>the experience has been astonishingly, unpleasantly, frustratingly, unhelpful !!!<br>When the Tech shows up, he is meticulous and thorough, I guess. So far the applications have not eradicated the problem. We were told that if we saw bugs they would return.<br>[according to the website advertising, at no charge].<br>The PROBLEM occurs when attempting to contact the office to ask them to return!!<br>We understand that the tick infestation may even require additional payment.<br>But you can not make an appointment..even having been told that there was an appointment!!<br>The Tech didnt show up or call.[He did return twice, but not on the day or time that THEY scheduled And not until i went through a maddening and ineffectual ring around the, 'Please hold' Phone contact for at least 2 days...]<br>It has now been 1 week and 2 days since The Office gave me another appointment day and time. [since the bugs have come back]. There have also been at least 4, hours long, 'Hold' phone attempts which resulted in 2 promised phone calls, which have never come. I can not believe this company is really in business anymore...DO NOT USE !
Definitely not worth all the money we paid. We still have all sorts of creepy crawling things in our home. We will use another pest control service from here on out....Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Customer service is Ghetto and rude as well.
Friendly, punctual but service need to honor what Orkin stands for and advertise. After complaining to the manager,the managers came out corrected the problem and the services got better. The last Orkin technician was much better and the bug problem has 97% gone and had my Dad continued the service they would be gone completely.
We used orkin at the Apartment Community I work at and had an amazing relationship with our regular weekly tech--then their Corporate ppl switched us to "business" services vs "home" services and then started charging us more for certain treatments that were previously covered in our monthly amount, and then charging us for an additional week if certain months had an additional week even though we had been on a monthly rate prior to the "business" services taking over.<br><br>The new rep refused to work with us on the additional charges. We gave notice that we'd be switching to a different company, then they quickly backpeddled and said that they'd waive the additional charge.<br><br>A few months later....<br><br>We just received a letter from collections for that charge that we were told was waived in an attempt to gain our business back. It is for $96.<br><br>VERY unprofessional and they lied. All over $96.<br><br>Check out Do Or Die Pest control, Arrow, or literally any other competitor instead.
Jimmy Tibbs is the BEST tech I have EVER had in 20yrs!!! I am a business owner & I am a Law Enforcement Officer full time. What I mean, is I've seen a lot & have lived a lot. Jimmy is my technician at my business. I haven't needed anyone at my residence.<br>Nevertheless, I have had other technicians & ALL OF THEM cut corners. Jimmy is 100% PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, NEVER MISSES AN APPOINTMENT & LISTENS TO ME😁 I know other business owners around here that feel the same way about him. I PRAY I NEVER get a different tech or that nothing ever happens to Jimmy Tibbs! Oh and his view points on this world & what we are dealing with is SPOT-ON. I see more and know more than most! This also shows me his intellect. He's funny too🙄😂<br>May I add that I did-not mean any of ORKINS Techs cut corners. I was speaking on other companies I've had.
Had an appointment for termite inspection. The representative, Clifton, showed up on time and was very professional with the service. I asked about general pest service and he thoroughly provided me with options with no pressure. I added quarterly general pest treatment and Clifton was able to provide the first treatment immediately. I felt he was very thorough and efficient. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Orkin.

Follow up appointment. I’m very confident when Orkin spray I don’t have to worry. This appointment was to spray outside around our home. They have been around for many years. Strong reputation and they are first in class!
Orkin has protected our home for years—30+. Rodney and Jason have been wonderful about making sure we are current with what is available to benefit us and our home. Their was a repair that needed to be done—parts ordered—during the pandemic and Jason made sure parts were ordered—when the company sent the wrong one Jason was on top of it and ordered again. He handled entire process—while still managing his other clients. He didn’t pass the buck.
I ended up cancelling because they no called and no showed FOUR different times. I don’t have time for that. Never bothered to try to reschedule with me so I called their competitor who gave me a MUCH better deal.
All the technicians who have serviced my home have been friendly and knowledgeable. Hunter was my tech today. He was very thorough and responded to my questions and concerns. He went above and beyond to get rid of cobwebs that had accumulated around the outside of my home. I really appreciate the service.
I scheduled a treatment, and was told that the technician would give me a call about 30 minutes prior to arriving. I stayed home from work for about 3 hours waiting on said technician, and no one showed up. When I called the 800 number for Orkin they said they 'could not reach' this Atlanta location that I was scheduled with. I tried calling three times that day. Needless to say I did not get the treatment. Two days later, I received a call from the manager explicitly telling me it was all my fault, and that a tech did indeed come. Not only did I never receive the heads-up call they promised, I sat in my living room right next to my door for 3 hours (the time window was only 2 hours) and absolutely no one came. I subsequently called a competitor, just to find out they offer the exact same service for 1/3rd the price. Absolute headache of an experience and clown-show of a company.
I had an appointment today and usually I receive a text message, courtesy call from Orkin letting me know they are on their way. However, that wasn’t the case. I was out buying groceries and they just showed up and sprayed the perimeter of my house. I would have really appreciated a phone call so that I would have been at home because I had a concern that I wanted to ask them about. Not sure how long I’m going to stay with orkin.
My service professional, Nathan, is the BEST. We literally look forward to seeing him every month. Courteous, warm, professional. I honestly never thought I would leave a review for a pest service… he’s just that awesome.
Our guy Nathan is the absolute best! Without people like him, Orkin would be just another pest control company. And, there are plenty of those. Orkin always has the best customer service, which is, in my option, what sets them apart.
William was helpful and gave our basement and home a spray. He identified that our home had been empty for some time and said upon another the pest issue would improve immediately and continue to improve upon follow up.
We used Orkin for 35 years at our former home so we’re used to the high quality of service and the professionalism of its employees. Our service tech was on time and explained everything he was doing snd why.
The Buckhead office is highly unorganized. I was transferred from the Fayetteville office, who was amazing, and had a no call no show for my bi-monthly service. Then I had a tech show up with no scheduled appointment and submit information that he serviced areas that he did not. I was not even home. I am not pleased with the transfer or the service and operations of the Buckhead office.
Technician friendly, kept distance. Sprayed inside and outside. Did not have the glue traps that I use because company was out of them. She did a great job inside cabinets and behind appliances.
Greg Ball was friendly and explanatory on bed bugs, which I apparently do not have (thankfully)! To me, it was worth the inspection since I had small bugs along the baseboard that did not look like any of the usual woodland creatures I see in the house.
Orkin has been great! As the seasons changed I noticed an overwhelming amount of mosquitos in my back yard, and ants on the outside of my home that eventually made it inside. I signed up for the quarterly service and someone was out to my home promptly! The mosquitos are no more and the ants I initially noticed are non existent. As a perk of the quarterly servicing, I noticed ants in places I hadn’t checked before, and another rep. came right out (free of charge!) to get it handled. I’ve been nothing but pleased with my servicing so far and highly recommend them!
The technician that serviced my home was not professional. I had to ask her to put a mask on, who walks in someone’s home as a stranger and have no mask during a global pandemic, vaccine or not as a corporation that represents how you value your customers/clients.<br><br>The service I was quoted for and paid for was not performed, her and her manager tried to swindle me out of my service by substituting a cheaper service at the price of a premium service. Lack of knowledge is unacceptable when you dealing with paying customers/clients.<br><br>The technician was extremely lazy and argumentative when I was trying to understand what services she was performing in my home. The technician did not inspect my home from top to bottom like it is mentioned on the Orkin website. Spiderwebs remember perfectly intact after she left and when asked to spray the chemical Im a known area for wasps she refused.<br><br>The technician was literally trying to get out of every request we asked for and was combative when refusing. She had a lack of professionalism, dedication, and respect in my home; which is highly concerning from a customers perspective.<br><br>We asked her to check the attic and she refused l, she refused almost all requests that would require her to do her job, a job we paid for. The technician also did not provide me a receipt or a detailed report of the services performed, as mentioned in the service package.<br><br>The only service I’m satisfied with is the outside yard work of mosquito prevention, and if I can find another company that could perform that same service, I would because as a 1st time customer with Orkin I was not impressed.
This visit was for my yearly inspection for my termite bond. Their employee Greg seemed knowledgeable and thorough. He arrived on time and handled the task in a pleasant way. I'd recommend him and hence Orkin.
Orkin servicemen Greg and Jason did an excellent job. They were very patient explaining the process and they had compassion for what we were going through. We had a severe case and Jason went into that crawlspace like it was nothing. Greg and Jason, we're very professional.
Orkin does not care about you or your problems. I called Orkin to take care of the hornets I kept finding in my house, since I am severely allergic. I wanted to know if there was an opening in the home and how they were getting inside. I was told the technician would come and investigate the problem and identify if there was a nest nearby. Instead, the technician brushed off my concerns and said that it was the spring season. He only spent about 10 minutes spraying and didn’t bother to investigate my concerns at all and charged me $300 for the “service”. A day later, I found two more hornets in my home. When I called to express my concerns over the quality of service, Orkin said they can’t really do much about the presence of hornets in my home since they are in season. Kinda sus from an exterminating company but okay....So I called Northwest Exterminators and they were able to identify a hole in the siding of my home that the hornets were using as an entry point. Northwest Exterminators even screened the opening for me. Don’t waste you money on Orkin. Instead, support a local business who will actually help you find the issue and offer a solution rather than putting a Band aid on the problem. I will never use Orkin again or recommend their service to anyone in our neighborhood.
Our family has been relying on Orkin for pest control since the 1970s, throughout the Southeastern US, and they are always exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and ethical. Companies do not survive in business for 100 years without maintaining this level of professional, ethical service. We always have the same service tech and have a good relationship with him, which is a rarity in today’s tech-contaminated service world. Thanks Orkin!
I am a current customer with a plan; I am currently reconsidering. We have a crawl space and we asked the technician to place traps in the crawl space<br>For 1, the technician always seems as though I'm bothering him when he comes out. At first, he came at the latter end of the day so I'm thinking maybe he is just ready to go home? I can understand that. Quite, moody, dont brother me I'm ready to go home type. But it became a regular mood for him; yep not interested. Three weeks ago, I asked for someone to come and check the traps due to the odor, I voiced my concerns and 3 weeks later still no Orkin. Glad I have nice neighbors, but why I am paying you (Orkin) again?
I can not thank Orkin enough. The costumer service I received was unmatched. From the beautifully spirited agent that took my call and the amazing, informative and very helpful technician named Thomas that came out. Wonderful company, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Orkin.
Pleased with my life experience. The technician was friendly and explained everything. Came prepared with a mask, shoe coverings and gloves. Explains everything. There was a slight issue with the scheduling window but the customer service agent followed up quickly and apologized for the inconvenience.
Nathan, our Orkin provider, is the best! We absolutely love when he comes. Always thorough and helpful with the issues but also a smiling face and a great conversation.

Over the past 20+ years, we have used Orkin and have marginal results. Although the company is qualified to service and treat pests, many service technicians have not done a complete job based on company standards.
I am extremely displeased that the text notification about my upcoming service treatment came to me 2 hours “AFTER” the treatment actually took place at my home. This is terrible service and could have put my children and dog in danger.<br><br>Also, now I cannot confirm that the treatment took place completely around my house, just in the front or possibly not at all.<br><br>I am sure you would not like this.<br><br>Certainly Orkin can operate more safely and professionally.<br><br>Bart L. The first time card info was given for treatment plan, there was a fraudulent charge on my account for Nordstrom within 3 hours. When they finally did come out and do service, they guy sprayed a little and left in like 10 minutes. Giving them a 2nd chance, and scheduling a second service, where they actually are expected to do some work, a second fraud charge for some body supplement company was made on my new card. Apparently there is a crook in one of Orkin’s call centers and I fault the company as a whole for not addressing it after I warned them about it the first time. They don’t protect their customers’ info and their workmanship is shoddy. Such a disappointment after the commercials made them look so professional.
I would LOVE to cancel my service with you guys and no there is nothing that will change my mind! I had an appointment for yesterday 7/8/20 they rescheduled for today 7/9/20 at 6...no one showed up but they charged my card !!!!! It's been too many incidents and this is only the second month ....NOT TO MENTION THAT I STILL SEE SPIDERS EVERYWHERE IN MY HOUSE. Please refund my money and cancel my subscription.
Jonathan is excellent. He gave me updates on his expected arrival. He was thorough and was able to answer all of ( my many) questions. He is also very caring and kind. If only all people who service my home were as knowledgeable at their business as Jonathan.
We are long -time customers of Orkin. Our current Technician, Nathan, is fabulous. Our family enjoys his visits because he's personable and professional. He answers all our questions and is knowledgeable!
The technician arrived within the 2 hour time frame. He was swift, helpful, and addressed our concerns. I love the shorter time frames! There is nothing worse than “someone will be there between 7am and 7pm” and Orkin delivers in that regard.

Overall Orkin is ok. The bug spray works decent and keeps pests away, but we’re clean too so that helps. We have the quarterly service so they come every 3rd month. My wife and I live in a forested area so we see a lot of spiders and ants. Some frustrating details include what’s advertised on their website they do not do. On their website, the Orkin Points of Service state:<br><br>“INVESTIGATE<br>We’ll inspect your home from top to bottom, inside and out, for current or potential pest problems<br><br>PROTECT<br>We’ll treat the perimeter of your structure with the appropriate materials, remove all accessible spiderwebs and wasp nests, and use the safest methods available<br><br>FORTIFY<br>We’ll do everything we can to keep insects out –seal, caulk, plug, and secure gaps and cracks<br><br>KEEP WATCH<br>We’ll treat the interior of your home and install pest monitors in critical areas such as kitchens, baths, utility rooms, and garages<br><br>REPORT<br>We’ll always provide a detailed report of services rendered and recommendations to help keep your home free of pests<br><br>FOLLOW UP<br>We’ll stay in touch between our regularly scheduled visits and respond to any immediate needs”<br><br>The most investigating they do is ask you questions. They do not remove spider webs or wasp nests. Them treating the perimeter is literally them spraying bug spray around the house. They do not seal, they do not caulk and they do not secure gaps and cracks. Never even seen the pest monitors they use to monitor pest activity. There’s no detailed report, if anything they tell you what to expect and to call if you need them. They do not follow up with you between visits. It’s a total rip off. I’ve even spoke to the manger of the offices and he said that they don’t have to do everything on the website.<br><br>We saw some ants and spiders the other day and I called to get someone sent out for free per their guarantee. The lady moved up the scheduled visit to today the 9th of April instead of the 27th of April when we were originally scheduled. When I asked if this visit would be free because of the guarantee, she said that it’s policy to move up the day of the service and charge regular price if bugs are reported during the same month. So I had to pay full price for someone to come and take care of the bugs instead of them standing behind their guarantee.<br><br>The ONLY 2 reasons I am giving them 2 stars and not 1 is SOLELY because of Devon M. White and that their formula keeps bugs away. Devon is very educational and thorough and gives us tips to keep our basement and house pest free. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient and makes sure all our needs are met as best as they can be. Other than those two reasons, Orkin is extremely disappointing and do not honor what they say on their own website in any way.
I have been using Orkin for a year.. I complained about pest in the attic during Orkins first visit.. I continued to complain ..<br>Their assessment was, it was squirrels in my attic.. orkin doesn't rid of squirrels.. when the squirrels began to be completely intolerable we called the squirrels removal service to remove the squirrels.<br>During the squirrel removal attempt the service men, assessed the pest problem to be roof rats.. !<br>Immediately I called Orkin.. they came out the same day to confirm the assessment of roof rats.. Orkin had the audacity to not take ownership of their original assessment but quoted me and my spouse a removal and sanitation fee of $7000.00 or $4000.00 if we wanted to get it partially done!<br>I feel like I'm being held to pay for something I paid for and trusted Orkin to assess.. to keep my home free of pest... see Yelp for pictures
Terrible customer service! I was scheduled to have a technician come in today (Perry) in the 2pm-4pm window, for a termite inspection. I called the buckhead at 3:30-3:45 office to inquire about the appointment and that nobody has contacted me in regards to being here. They told me to call back after 4pm if they didn’t show up. I called after 4pm to ask about the status, the technician called me back ad said it was his day off. I called Rodney, the manager at the Buckhead location at 4:30 and he was gone for the day. I talked to Paulette, who was very rude over the phone making me feel like they are doing me a favor to come and inspect my house. They are supposed to have someone come back tomorrow between 8-10; when I asked if they will be here for sure, she said “we’ll see tomorrow”. I asked her to have Rodney call me back, still nothing from them. Terrible experience! From what I can read from these comments, they are the worst out there. STAY AWAY!
Our Orkin service person, Jonathan, has always been very professional and punctual. Most importantly, the pest control provided by him has been the best we’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Jonathan, and Orkin, to anyone needing service.
I went with orkin post control for a massive German roach infestation they generally came out said they could get it taken care of he charged me almost 300 initially sprayed the home then left. Hadn't seen anyone come out for the comming months. I called they sent the same guy a nice guy he charged me 20 dollars to come out and spray the problem seemed to have gotten worse so I cancelled letting them know I payed the guy 20 in cash upon his last visit they still made me paid for the month in full absolutely bad service not recommending anyone to call them.
Best dealing I've had in 7 months with Orkin. The new Representative was knowledgeable, quick, and professional. Way better than what I've been dealing with the service I have been dealing with this branch for the past year.
Jake was professional and friendly. He explained the products that he was using and the areas that would be treated. He made sure that I knew the cost and billing process. I was assured that he was available if I had any problems. Totally satisfied and look forward to working with Jake and Orkin.

Pretty poor customer service. Had them come in for fleas for $250 btw, the guy came in and took maybe 5-10 minutes spraying around with little thoroughness--didnt get in closets or under tables well. Didn't spray outside either. No surprises when fleas still there the next day.<br><br>Called them back today for a reschedule and they won't come back any sooner than a week later. Closed me off before I able to ask my questions. So we're stuck with these fleas for at least another week.<br><br>There are a bunch of exterminator options... I'd advise to choose any other one but this one.
If I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst service I ever had, and I worked there. Customer service was poor regardless if you worked there or not, everyone I spoke to had a bad experience, it was a coworker who told me to switch my service. So I switched to Terminix and received better treatment all around and the price was better! My "Orkin Man" never showed and then would show up whenever he wanted to. They are notorious for no call/no shows, everyone in the office knows this. I spoke with the branch manager (from my work phone in case it wasn't clear that I worked there) when I told him I was taking my business elsewhere all he was said if you decide to come back you will NOT be eligible for an employee discount again and he was very rude. First of all...the discount sucked second, my service is still less expensive with Terminix even with their weak little discount! Terminix doesn't hit you every month like this place, once a quarter. There was a big difference in my initial treatments, Terminix was way more thorough. I always had return pests with Orkin now I never see them. Don't be fooled by the name, Orkin is horrible a place to work with horrible customer service.
Always responds immediately if I call/text to come out and treat. Nate is awesome!! Punctual, friendly and reliable. I text him directly if I need service and he accommodates my schedule.
Excellent service because they’re proactive and execute very well, I’ve had no issues with pests with their constant micromanagement. They also respond immediately to my calls. Jake is amazing!
We switched to Orkin about 9 months ago, after we’d had several quite unpleasant bug run-ins with our previous pest control company (involving multiple times waking up in the night to a cockroach crawling on me!). Since switching to Orkin, we have only seen a few dead or dying roaches, knock on wood! I’ve also noticed a difference in the amount of bugs I’ve seen down in the garage and crawl space. The true test will be seeing what happens this summer once it’s prime roach season, but so far I’m a very happy customer. Also, Nathan is the best! Always communicates when he’s on the way and is so friendly. Keep up the good work, Orkin!

If my life was as well organized as Orkin, you would have received my review last week.<br>Robert and Kline, the two technicians who preformed my annual inspection, were exactly what I have become to expect from Orkin, right on time, courteous, professional, and pleasant. The training they received was obvious, from their professional appearance, including their pulling on shoe coverings before entering our home, to explaining all that they were inspecting for. One new piece of equipment that I found very interesting was a meter that measures the moisture in the floor joists in our 100 year old house, all of which were good.<br>After a thorough investigation of the interior, they performed a 360 degree inspection of the exterior. I really appreciate how they took the time to explain why they check what they do, and what they are looking for. They also gave me a few suggestions as to other services that are available, but at no time did I feel pressured to purchase additional services, which I greatly appreciate.<br>Our initial pest control treatment was many, many years ago, and Orkin has preformed my annual inspection each and every year, all with the same five star professionalism. About 8 years ago, during my annual inspection, your technician discovered a tiny bit of sawdust hidden away against the interior wall of my foundation, a place where I would have never seen.<br>Orkin responded by completely retreating my entire house, inside and out. This was a considerable undertaking, which took several days, but they made sure we were not inconvenienced in the least. I can't tell you what a wonderful service they provided, and continue to provide.<br>My sincere thanks to Robert, Kline, and, of course, Orkin for excellent customer service and support.<br>May your new year hold many blessings for you all. Nathan is the most helpful and hard working member of their team. He always checks in to see if we are seeing bugs - which we never do because he does such a thorough job. We ask him not to spray in the bedroom where we sleep and still don’t see bugs in there either . I wish everyone was as friendly and meticulous as Nathan! Orkin for life .
I use Orkin for every other month pest control. Very easy to schedule service when it is convenient for me. The technician who serviced my home, Nathan, is always prompt and extremely courteous. My concerns are addressed in a professional manner and he was responsive when we still had issues after our first treatment.
My Orkin technician is great! He always contacts me prior to an appointment to schedule an exact time and then shows up on time. He is flexible to accommodate my schedule and is extremely tolerant of my dog who is consistently so happy to see him.
Our service rep, William, has been great for many years. The administration of the company is unresponsive. In the year and a half since my wife’s death, the company has repeatedly failed and refused many attempts to change feom my late wife’s email address to my email. I tried to update it online, and have done so again every time I sign off on William’s iphone. The company NEVER processes that.
Had a great experience with the initial inspection and treatment! They were very professional, immediately helped me determine what kind of issue I had and how to treat it, did a thorough job looking for more issues and treating the newly observed pests (killing and preventing going forward), and gave a very helpful report at the end. They even found and killed a brown recluse along the way! Very thankful for and happy with their service
I called to have someone come out because we had wasp nests in various places around the eves of my 2 story home. I told them that when making the appointment. They sent a technician who didn’t have ladders and wasn’t able to address the problem because apparently we also have honeybees which he said they don’t handle. They gave me a business card of someone else who could address the issue.
Curtis was the consummate professional. He took the time to explain how pests behave and how the Orkin treatment has been tailored to exploit pest behaviors.<br><br>I feel confident in the treatment plan and would not have an issue recommending Orkin to friends or family.
The technician that showed up was great. He was very friendly and was thorough and time efficient. My main complaint was with the scheduling system; I scheduled a Window of time over the phone , stayed home from work and when I called after no one showed up I was told the system updates overnight and deleted my time slot. They were able to make it out the same evening but it was frustrating nonetheless.
Nathan (who knew you could be on a first name basis with pest control) is the nicest man. He is informative, on time, professional and attentive to my concerns (for instance he is careful in regards to my worries about pesticides around my two cats, and sweetly Nathan even gently pets my cats if they come up to him). Since Orkin has been doing my pest control I very seldom see any outside roaches - even outside. But if I think the treatment is not working Orkin will come back for another treatment (without charge) in between the scheduled contract services. I have not found that to be necessay - and I live in an older building of condos!<br><br>I am about to do some renovations and that has always scared me — because of disturbing the pest’s’ and my home’s boundaries - Nathan assured me he would come back (without charge) to calm my nerves with interim treatment (s).
Nathan Donaldson is my technician, and he is excellent! He texts the day before to set up my service, accommodates my schedule as needed, let’s me know what he did each time, and goes above and beyond regularly. Yesterday he brought a UPS package inside for me without me asking. Great job, Nathan!
Nathan is very responsive and gives me warning when he is 10 minutes out. I had a fly infestation and he spent time problem solving with me to see where the problem originated. Flies and other bugs are no longer a problem so I really appreciate him and would definitely suggest Orkin!

My termite bond experience with Orkin’s William Gaston has been a truly remarkable experience. Not only was William very knowledgeable about all the products and services Orkin offers, but his depth of knowledge about protecting the home and the insects themselves was impressive. William was incredibly communicative, willing to call or text to set up appointments and very flexible in his scheduling always being able to meet our schedule’s needs. But frankly, the best part of the service William offered was his demeanor. He strikes a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness. Welcoming a stranger into your home is never comfortable, and William immediately didn’t feel like a stranger. He even got to know our dogs and learned their names! Top notch service I would highly recommend!

This company is a great way to rid yourself of unwanted pest, to bad they can't do that to other things. I love the service they provided for me in the past and again now. I called and they came on the scheduled day and at the scheduled time. The employee who serviced my house was very kind and proficient. Again, GREAT COMPANY.
Honestly a terrible customer service experience all around. I had an appt scheduled from 8-10 am, waited until about 9 to call local office to see where inspector was because he had yet to show up for the appt, & local office wasn't answering their phone/their office voicemail box is full. 9:30 rolls around & I just start calling their main customer service line just to speak to someone. Takes about 30 min to find a representative who can help me cancel the appt to avoid getting billed.<br><br>Lol never again!
