I just wanted to say that the service I received from the Smyrna location was exceptional. Initially, David and Chandler came to our location to assist with the bat issue we had. Later, there were two different gentlemen that came by and did an exceptional job by sealing up the open spots. Last, Chandler came and made sure that all the bats were gone/ to oversee that the resealed spaces were ok. But I wanted to touch on Chandler bc he was very personable, my mom simply adored him, he gave us a complete breakdown on the prices and utilized his expertise by giving us the best route to take for other issues. Thank you again for a job well done.

The work they do is great. My complaint is with pre-sale communication. This has happened to us three times now so I can only assume this is their business model. On getting a quote I called and set up a time (range of course). This is where the missed opportunities occur. After time is set no email of confirmation or text is sent. On day of again no communication. If we were living in the 90s this would be fine but in the third decade of the 21st century it would be better customer service to get a morning email, text, or call confirming and giving me or the company a chance to either reset expectations, confirm, or even upsell. It is not wrong it just seems a bit stuck in an older scheme that is not hard or difficult to update and improve. Call me if you want and I would love make time helping you achieve this new level of customer service.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of someone from this company for three weeks now. It took me forever to even get a hold of anyone to get them out here in the first place but even after they sprayed, I waited the 10 day period that they told me to wait before calling to see if I still have bugs and I’ve had bugs the whole time ever since they sprayed. I have 2 roaches crawling around my kitchen as I type this even but no one will come do anything about it. I will likely end service because this is pointless to be paying for.

I love that Austin has been our technician since 2021 when we bought our house. I feel like that is probably not normal in pest control, and we very much appreciate that we know who he is and he knows our house. Service is always great and he and the company are quick to respond to any issue or callback. I love the quarterly pay that covers everything. 100% recommend.<br>Also the fact that they get the webs from your eaves makes such a HUGE difference for curb appeal!

I have Steve Gable as my technician, and even though I've moved from my initial house, I kept the same services because of him. He goes above and beyond, he's friendly, he's patient, he's timely, and he doesn't make me like a bother if he has to come back for anything, which is rare because he does such a good job. I can tell he cares a lot about what he does and wants to make sure that we are well taken care of. Were it not for him, I likely would have shopped around. Also, every time I call the local Smyrna office, they are so kind and helpful. Good customer service is important to me and I always feel well taken care of. Great job Smyrna!

I meet a representative from this company while at a mixer and decided to actually use them for my personal residence. The service has been absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. The representatives who make appointments are so kind and knowledgeable. They were able to schedule my appointment for later that week whereas another chain company took a week to simply get back to me to even schedule an appointment. The inspectors were polite and helpful. The technician was also great! Haven’t seen any live bugs in my house since. All around excellent service.

I am about an 18 year customer with them for the termite bond on my house. Paid invoice April first. They get the check a week later. June 12 now and STILL no service. 10 weeks later but boy it did not take them that long to cash the check. There is no excuse for this. I do not recommend them nor will I renew next year with them.

Consistent service and they always call to make sure you don't need additional services (i.e., inside garage etc.). No complaints.

Excellent service. First, the products WORK. With regular service the bugs are gone they do not return. And, if I ask for some dusting of spider webs from the inside of the garage door, my rep happily takes care of it for me. Second, the communication is great. We receive notice several days before our service apointment and again the morning of. This is very appreciated.

Very bad customer service. I paid $600.00 for wild life services to trap a armadillo. The trap was placed on the property on 2/11 and removed on 2/14. The animal was not caught and no money was refunded.

Northwest has kept my home pest free for years. I wouldn’t use another service for the job. They are always so kind and helpful and responsive.

Your Service Pro(s) are fearless. No spider is too large, and No spider web is too high. I have had a Service Tech climb a ladder and take on a giant spider above our Deck. Some people may like to talk sports with you guys, but I like to talk Bugs with the Northwest Techs and I have never had a bug question that was not answered. Northwest Exterminating has been so successful that there are no bugs flying, no bugs walking and no bugs hanging in the air, in my home, in the garage in the basement nor above the Deck. Nate has treated my home for many years and his kindness and warmth has put me as ease so many times including when I am navigating some pretty challenging pest issues.

Northwest has been taking care of me since I bought my house in 2016 and they have been fantastic to work with. They have gone above and beyond from pest control to the bees (definitely not the good honey bees) that found a way into my foundation blocks. Every technician and the office folks have been so friendly and helpful and our dog loves Steve, our regular tech. We highly recommend Northwest to anyone looking for a long-term pest control company or just moving into a new home.

Do not use them if you need a letter of certification the day you sell your house..! A salesman comes over to your house, spends 4 minutes and tells you that you active termites..odd considering that I had warranty for 3 years with another company.. so what should have costed $75 for the letter ended up costing $600.. the tech that came over found no active termites and the report showed no active termites. It is unfortunate that company like thing still use these methods. Unfortunately it seems to be a trend in the atlanta metro...

The online representative that gave me a quote was so truthful and kind in her handling my questions. Her name was Tina. The quote was affordable and covered everything, plus the green service is pet friendly which is important. Then when the technician came early, he was super nice and thorough. He even handled our eerie basement area and told us that if we needed anything or something came up he would come back with a call. Very awesome experience.

I have used Northwest on a new build in TN and a 1920s house in GA. Northwest uses pet friendly and extremely effective products. They are consistent, make everything easy on the customer, and their service people are very friendly and informative.

I have used Norwest Exterminator for my annual termite and an ant issue. I have trust NW for over 7 years and have never had a problem. No termites. They came and went without me even knowing they are there. Fast, efficient, and reliable. I highly recommend their services.

We’ve used Northwest for several years for pest control. They’re an excellent company and are very responsive. About a week ago, we noticed yellowjackets swarming outside on our patio, and called Northwest to remove them. Dylan came out quickly and treated the nest with poison to kill the yellowjackets. He came back a couple days later to remove the nest. It was huge!<br><br>Thanks Northwest for fantastic customer service and responding quickly!

The main line/text scheduling system is responsive and efficient, including callbacks on the rare occasion a live bug is found in our home. Our technician, Steve, has to be one of the best in the business, continually going above and beyond to do things outside of his job description (ie bringing up our trash and recycling bin and texting me when he's finished in case I wanted to close the garage door). We have been happy customers since 2018 and continue to be pleased with Northwest's services.

We've used Northwest for years now and they have always been best in customer service and responsiveness. I haven't had an issue with pests the entire time I've had them. Not only that, but they remember who their customers are and make an effort to know them. Just recently my dog passed away and Northwest sent us a condolence card. It was the most thoughtful thing a company has ever done for us aside from what is required of them.

Edit: they put a response below to look responsive, but have not actually gotten in touch with me since then. That's a good example of the level of effort you can expect from this company.<br><br>I wish I had never trusted Northwest Exterminating to tackle the chipmunk problem under my house. I shelled out a significant amount, specifically said the chipmunks were my main issue, but over a year later the issue persists. They were just filling chipmunk holes with concrete instead of doing any actual exclusion, and creating a mess that I now have to fix before dealing with the chipmunks myself. I wrote multiple times and they refuse to make things right. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. They've been a huge disappointment.

My technician, Kale, is great! He is always on time and he listens to my squeamish whining about spiders and ant hills etc. He makes sure to take extra care of my property, so I don’t have to deal with the critters! I also appreciate the fact that NW let’s you keep the same tech. It helps to establish a level of trust with the person servicing your home. I recommend the once a month “green” mosquito service during the high months….especially if you have dogs.

I use Northwest for general extermination maintenance at my house. They also did my attic insulation as well as my crawlspace cleanout/de-humidifier work. They are all around great!

Our guy Steve who always comes out to service our house is fantastic! Super knowledgeable, patient and listens to all of our concerns. He breaks down in a clear concise way what he feels would be best to take care of the situation at hand and we always end up with amazing results. We had a cockroach problem, Steve came in and within a week once the stuff he applied kicked in, we haven’t had a problem since. If you’re lucky enough to get Steve to service your home then you’re in good hands!

I love that the same technician, Nate, always services my home. He goes above and beyond to make sure my home is free of bugs and spiders! He’s also always on time (and usually arrives at the beginning of my scheduled 2-hour timeframe).

We bought a great house that had a few previous fur tenants. David M. came out and made sure they all had moved out and there was no way to get back in. He was friendly and diligent in his inspection. The next day, Brandon P. and Chase C. arrived right on time to sanitize and put new T.A.P. insulation in (old had been removed). They were so curtesy, efficient and clean. What a difference T.A.P. made, my a/c isn't running all the time and the house stays nice and comfortable. Thank you to the guys who did a phenomenal job. Will absolutely recommend Northwest and T.A.P.

We inherited this company for our termite prevention service when we moved into the house. We have subsequently used them for general quarterly pest prevention as well and have been very pleased with their service. They use natural pesticides that are safe for pets and children after they dry which is reassuring. Because the pesticide is all natural sometimes you have to give it a little time to work, but it always works within a few days. If there is any issue they will come out and take care of in between the quarterly visits at no charge which is really nice.

Northwest is very quick to respond to our needs and address any concerns we may have regarding pest issues. The service tech (Antwon) who comes to our place is always friendly, professional, and timely. We’ve had a few emergency situations and Northwest has always jumped into action to fix our problem. Informative, responsive, timely. We had a new technician (Jason) come out on the most recent monthly visit. We absolutely loved our last technician we had for many years (Kevin). However, after only one visit, we know that we are going to love Jason also. He is obviously very knowledgeable, very helpful and very attentive to "managing" (not servicing) our home pest control program.

I've been with Northwest Exterminating since January 2002. The service is outstanding. I will never leave for another company. The technicians are friendly, informative and professional, and I have never been let down by any of their products. They work so well on the outside that technicians never have to come inside to spray. Customer service is also phenomenal--they're attentive, and they follow through. Nathan is always very professional - he calls 20-30 minutes prior to arrival, always asks me if I've had any problems or issues since his last visit, explains to me exactly what he's going to do, etc. etc. etc. Shortly after I bought my townhouse, I had a really bad ant problem in my kitchen so I called Northwest Exterminating to start a regular pest control service but explained I needed someone out ASAP in order to take care of the ants. Initially there weren't any appointments available for almost a week but then the gentleman with whom I was speaking (I believe his name was Eric) was able to find an open slot the following day after I reiterated the severity of the problem. After scheduling the appointment, he went over payment details and immediately sent me a copy of my contract. It was great customer service! After that initial appointment, I had to reach out ot Nathan a month or so later to see when he was available because the ants decided to make a new home in my master bathroom. He was back at my house within 24 hours to lay the bait traps and spray again. I haven't had an ant problem since. Again, exceptional customer service! I would absolutely recommend Northwest Exterminating to anyone in need of pest control services!

Nothing! Your so called professionals do damage. 1 guy broke a light fixture in our house another guy did half the job and yet another guy today decided to drive over my zoysia instead of using the driveway.<br>They suck!

If you live in Ga. there is not a question of whether you will have termites...it's WHEN will you have termites, a realtor once told me. Recently I had difficulties with termites that threatened my sanity if not my home foundation. We were contracted with Northwest and withjust a call, I cannot even begin to tell you the expertise, diligence, and workmanship that was displayed to resolve our problem. Professionalism extraordinaire, Kenny , construction manager, and his team were more than exceptional. Our situation is not one that is often seen I'm told however it was very forturnate we had Northwesst to handle it. Do yourself a favor and check them out. I have to say NW did follow up with me and did a great job to rectify my issue below. I am happy that they took responsibility for a mistake and made good come from it. I would do business with these guys again.<br>Pretty disappointed with the level of communication I recently experienced. Office staff and sales people told me I had to be home to let the techs into a locked crawlspace for a retreat job to renew my bond. I came from out of state to let them in only to find out from the techs that they didn't need to go in. When a company doesn't communicate between their own people well, I feel like they are not doing their jobs right, nor can they properly serve their customers. These guys cost me a lot of time and money for nothing.

I highly recommend Northwest Exterminating! They take care of all of our pest-related needs. As a landlord currently living in another state, their immediate response to any tenant requests has been much appreciated. When my tenant calls me to request an indoor spraying, Northwest is scheduling a visit the same day that I call them. They are very customer-friendly and I've never had to follow up on a request. They have two different termite prevention plans for you to choose from. Give them a try!

Great value, and feel like all the employees I work with are friendly and get things done right. Good communication always and feel like they respect your home and tread lightly. I'm on their quarterly plan and love that I can call them out anytime it's needed for a flat fee.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR RODENTS. We had an attic rat problem and called Northwest to come assess it and fix it. They charged us $1400 and though I was concerned about the cost, I said "This will fix my problem?" and the man shook my hand, looked me in the eye and said "Guaranteed." Well, they came and "patched holes" around our house and set traps. We caught rats. And kept catching rats. And kept hearing them. I called them every couple of weeks for the next year, and on the plus side, they came out every single time I called in a very timely manner to remove the dead rats and "patch more holes." On the minus side-- they never fixed the problem! Also, the way they kept "patching" the house, made our the exterior of our house look ridiculous— bits of metal and mesh covering holes everywhere. Finally after a year, the man said that we should pay them $3000 to redo our insulation in the attic as the rat urine scent was attracting more rats. Well, the insulation was a mess when they first came out the first time, but they never mentioned that replacing it would be part of the method to get rid of the rats. Also, why would I replace the insulation, when rats were STILL getting in to mess it up? Long story long, I called a rat specialist in the area, who came out, and fixed the problem for good, removing all the weird "patches" Northwest put on the house and fixing the holes properly. We haven't had a rat since. Not for nothing, he said he's been cleaning up behind companies like Northwest for years-- says they got into the business of rodent removal without really knowing what they were doing. I consider it a $1400 hard lesson. But at least my home is now rat-free! Finally.

I have used Northwest Exterminating for years - they are the best company in Atlanta, hands down. No other company places more emphasis on customer service and satisfaction than Northwest - and they deliver. My technician - Al - is knowledgable and helpful each time he visits.
