Reviews
James & crew were great…so accommodating
E.S.O.G. presented a clear explanation of their recommendation, a detailed estimate and set of drawings, arrived on time to perform the work, explained the work they were going to complete, provided a walk thru once the work was completed and cleaned up the worksite. Very pleased with the crew (Justin and Team) and with Marc. Foundation drain installed for 50+ feet of finished and unfinished basement.
My whole team did a terrific job. Project manager Jake explained everything that would be involved installing the reinforcing piers. Crew chief James along with Louis and Michael were great onsite, completing everything without a hitch. James was incredibly helpful with the details of the work they'd be doing and encouraged me to check in on progress to see what was physically being done. They were also very respectful of the non-work area parts of the property and kept/left a very clean work site.
Complicated installation of helical piers and hydraulic lifting of a sunroom that had settled, as well as injection of foam under slab to fill voids. Realistically, ESOG could not guarantee that the lift would be successful, but they executed the project very professionally and it did indeed work. The sunroom is now level and stabilized, with no damage done in the process. I am extremely satisfied. The whole crew was excellent.
Everyone at Engineered Solutions of Georgia was incredible to work with! From the first set up call to the estimates and then the final work, nothing but excellence! They rerouted water from the roof and around the house away from our home and permanently fixed the leaks in our basement and came up with a solution to our basement wall which was starting to push in. All lifetime guarantees. I wish I went with them to begin with. I can't say enough good things about them. Justin, Jacob and the entire crew were the best!
Our new front steps are awesome. Great experience with ESOG from beginning to end.
Made rookie mistakes with a fairly simple project. Gave another opportunity to make corrections. Improper installation again! Owner refused accountability for new issues after 2 botched installs and now is refusing to share a copy of their surety bond.<br>20 years ago this was a reputable company.<br>Under the newer ownership, I wouldn't trust Engineered Solutions of Georgia to repair a dog house!
I had a great experience with this team. They LISTENED to what I needed, and it ended up saving me THOUSANDS of dollars. They were thorough in their explanation of what they would be doing and how it would fix my problem. It was a fantastic experience, and they will be my first call should I have any additional needs. Thank you.
Engineered Solutions of Georgia did a terrific job from beginning to end. Bruce Stockdale came to my home and thoroughly inspected and measured to accurately determine what was needed to correct my issue. He explained the repair process and answered my questions. The crew that did the work were on-time, polite and professional. The repair was made and they left the space clean and tidy.<br>Great job ESOG!
Very professional! Did an excellent job paying attention to the details and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased.
I recently had foundation work by ESOG. The team was great. All were very professional. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.
Engineered Solutions delivered exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it. I was on a tight deadline closing on my home, and their team stepped in like seasoned pros. They installed a drainage system in my garage with precision, efficiency, and a level of professionalism that deserves real recognition.<br><br>They were prompt, affordable, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. No runaround, no surprises — just solid execution and a team that knows how to get the job done right the first time. They came through in the nick of time and truly saved the day.<br><br>Highly recommend them for anyone who needs reliable, quality work done without the stress.
José and Crew did an excellent job! They showed up on time, we’re very careful about not leaving any dirt or debris inside the house. I would highly recommend them.
Raphael and his colleagues at Engineered Solutions have always provided great service each time they have come to my home. I am very pleased to have done business with the company!
Engineered Solutions of Georgia were great. I had 3 quotes and Engineered Solutions were the least and the highest rated. The pier team were superb and the patch team were artists--staying until 8pm Friday evening to finish the job. Thanks to all. Mark M Jones MD
Engineers Solutions is the best waterproof company in Georgia. My basement water problem was out of control until I called this company. Mr Bruce and his team responded to my basement water issue in a timely manner. I’m very pleased with their work. I like to say special thanks to Mr Joshua for being patient in setting up my sump pump and getting me in touch with the people who can help me whenever needed. Thank you
Engineered Solutions of Georgia was a great company to do business with, providing professional and excellent service. Starting with my initial contact over the phone, the home assessment and consultation, and the final work project made this home repair less stressful. Special thanks to Jake, Justin, Luna and the entire engineering team and staff.
Outstanding from the person who took my call to the rep who recommended to solution to the crew that did the repair. Everyone was professional, efficient, friendly and just plain good!
Erosion and drainage issues/settling porch/cracked and settled driveway - Engineered Solutions solved the problems to our complete satisfaction. Great communication throughout and the different project teams came in one after the other with no delays; their time working here was as short as could be. For the scope of the job, I thought the price was very reasonable. Recommended
They gave me a fair price and corrected the difference where the two pieces of concrete were uneven.
We were very impressed with the quality of work on a structural issue that needed attention on our foundation. They came out quickly for an estimate. They scheduled us quickly with great communication during the entire process. On the day of the work, they came exactly as expected and took care not to get finished basement dirty, covering floors, etc. Thank you for a job well done!
We used Engineered Solutions to repair our garage floor and basement issues. Very professional throughout the entire process, great communication, and excellent quality work and clean up. highly recommend.
I have used ESOG on 2 different projects. One in 2024 and again in July of 2025. As well you know the type of repair this company does isn’t cheap. The 2025 job was in the crawl space for support points and a support beam. When the crew came out to the latest project they told me there was an issue with the original plan due to the AC duct work and in order for the job to be done properly the duct work would need to be rerouted. I was told someone would be in touch with me to discuss the situation. This was on a Friday morning. While at work the following Monday the crew returned and completed the work. There was no call prior to their return about the issue I was told about the previous Friday. I was told everything went smoothly with no issues. So, what about your previous statement about the AC ductwork needing to be routed differently in order for the job to be done correctly? Anyway, for 2 weeks now I have been trying to contact ESOG about another issue I may have separate from my initial complaint. I have left voicemail messages, went online and filled out their contact me form and on one call spoke to someone who told me I would receive a return call. My first contact attempt was on 7/11/25. I don’t do Google reviews but my daughter suggested that I should. We’ll see if this helps. I’m sure I will at least get the canned response I have seen on other reviews.<br><br>Follow up: I was eventually called by a manager who did apologize for the miscommunication.
Job Very Well Done! Great to be able to deal with professional people with several decades of experience in the industry. Mike and the installation crew (LT, Luis and can't recall the 3rd man's name) did an outstanding job! I had 4 companies come out to look at the work we needed to have done in our crawlspace and to give us estimates for our crawlspace encapsulación. After listening to all 4 of them, and although I had a limited budget to work with, I finally decided to hire Engineered Solutions of Georgia to do the work; they were not the lowest price offer, but they were not the highest either! It turns out it was a very good decision to go with the Engineered Solutions of Georgia! Mike and the crew that did the installation were all great, answered all of my ...myriad questions with a smile and delivered the high-quality work they promised they would. (Made me wish we had more people like Mike, LT, Luis and the other fellow in my company where I work!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
James and his crew from ESOG were top-notch. James explained everything in detail, encouraged my questions, and they all were exceptionally professional, friendly, and courteous.
Had the best experience… from the original assessment with Ben to the work completion from all four of the guys that were here everything went exceptionally well. Everyone was professional and courteous. Works as done timely and efficiently. Would totally recommend!
Very knowledgeable inspector that conducted the review and up the repair plan. Got his boss on the phone and price matched another company while providing a stronger product. The crew that come to install the repairs was BEYOND professional and respectful. They kept me aware of any possible issue they had and asked permission before anything was adjusted or finalized. Definitely would recommend.
This is one of the best companies I've had the privilege to deal with... I was on a time crunch to fix a second floor structural issue...I dealt with Chad Harmon...what a fantastic person highly professional and kept all his promises to complete the job before I was scheduled to relocate to my second home... they were right on budget no problems.. left my house clean and all in place... fantastic communication with me and my Electrician, Plummer and HVAC company to coordinate all the things that had to be moved....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS OF GA!! Thank you Chad for everything 😊
I had a great experience with Engineered Solutions of Georgia. From start to finish, their communication was excellent—every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly. The team arrived on time, kept me updated throughout the process, and completed the work exactly when they said they would. It’s refreshing to work with a company that is so reliable and professional. Highly recommend!
Tim reached out to me right away and came out to take a look at what needed to be done. He wasn’t trying to upsell me and told me exactly what I needed and explained it throughly. He also followed up with me to make sure the job was done correctly and that I was satisfied.<br><br>They put me on the schedule right away. Juan came out with his crew and explained everything to me and they were finished within a day. Once they were done they cleaned up nicely and it was liked they were never here. Great people to work with. Thanks!
I hired ESOG to repair sagging joists in a small 1950’s home with a very tight crawl space. It was a great experience all around from engineering report, to proposal, to install. Thank you to Ranj Hassan, Mike Lewis and to LT and his crew!
Engineered Soutions of Georgia were quick to respond, offered a quality solution at a fair price and completed excellent workmanship without sacrificing quality. They operate with the highest level of customer satisfaction and treated my home with great care.<br><br>My problem of mud in my basement happened in a Saturday morning. Jared had visited my home the year before but told me there was nothing to address. Wow when have you had a sales person tell you that. So when my foot slid in mud I immediately called Jared and within 30 minutes he responded, FaceTime me to see the problem. Provided a solid solution that was not an upsale and scheduled the work for Monday morning.<br><br>Cameron’s crew were punctual and ready to work putting in a needed French drain, sump pump. There was a little glitch but within an hour the project Manager, Justin had a strategic plan and time to solve the issue and showed up the next morning and solved it above and beyond what I thought. These guys have excellent customer service. They care about their clients and believe in delivering superb solutions that are fair and ones that will last. I could not more highly recommend Engineered Solutions of Georgia for any foundation needs you have. They are thorough, detailed and operate with the highest level of integrity. Thank you to all for a job well done.
Did a great job of servicing my pump. Was very knowledgeable of the equipment. Arrived on time.
Great people to work with. Gave us a good price & came the next day. Very happy we chose them. Have already recommended them to a friend.
The ESOG people were very hard-working, professional, polite, and friendly. They did a great job in my basement installing a sump pump, encapsulating the area, and cleaning up after. However, the electrical subcontractor, Solidground Electrical, was absolutely horrible. They unnecessarily tore up the ceiling in my basement and left an awful mess when they were done. They literally left drop ceiling components (rails, ceiling tiles, etc.) laying over items in my basement. Also, their communication skills were poor to nonexistent. No ESOG personnel ever came by to review the job that their subcontractor did. I am terribly disappointed that ESOG would employ such a low quality electrical subcontractor. It's a shame!
They showed up on time… were able to work around recently installed plants, and when done patched the section of patio impacted and other than having to do that, you would never know that we had piers placed to support the porch. Very professional.
If I could give this company zero stars belive me I would. I waited a long time to write this review. I was suppose to have some work completed by this company during the AT&T strike. They did not have anyone to come out and locate where the lines of power were. The men that came out did not even notice that this had not been done. All of my power was cut off. This was for a total of six weeks. When I asked about getting my money back, this was asked to the owner he said that he had to ask his partner. To this day I have received zero compensation.I thought that working after the place has been marked was taught in Engineerring One. It is of my opinion that I would not trust them to fix the foundation on my dogs house.
Pros: Many of the team members are friendly and polite.<br>Cons: 0% success rate on work actual done on our property after over $20k in projects. Quality of work does not shine as a priority in my experience with working with them. The floors are still sloped because they put the supporting posts underneath the wrong room. They then said they needed to add another project to put them in the correct place in order to address our original issue. Now the sloping has actually gotten worse. The concrete footings on another project had no rebar and were poured too shallow of depth causing them to fail. Some posts weren't even supported by the footings--using a 2x4 instead to make up the difference. Some of the joists were cut too short, but they still tried to screw in anchors which caused the new joists to fracture. Good luck trying to get a hold of the warranty department and then getting the crew back out to make any repairs. What did the "warranty crew" do once they arrived 6 hours late from their appointment window? They didn't pour new concrete footings with rebar--instead they installed plastic footings mostly designed for decks or gazebos. ESOG will say these are code-compliant, but after seeing these footings just sitting loosely on top of the soil with no lateral support I knew there had to be a catch. Yep, the ICC paper states that these footings are required to be installed with at least 12" of compacted soil on top in order to be code-compliant and any other installation is not compliant. One of their posts on the new footing is already leaning just days after the replacement (picture shown). After speaking with one of the owners of ESOG he claimed he wasn't aware of that installation requirement even though it's clearly stated in the paper. I worry about how many of these footings they have incorrectly installed throughout Atlanta especially since I'm sure many customers don't have the physical means to inspect the work done in their own crawlspaces.
Great experience from initial survey and quote to finished work. Professional, on time, and quality work. Onsite technician was amazing. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. Did a great job!
We had partial basement and crawlspace done to due lots of water getting into basement. Kristen was very professional and easy to deal with on every aspect of the job. The crew guys eere alo good to deal with at the house.
Overall I am satisfied with the work ESG did for us. We had an basement flooding issue on a new (to me), old (1966) house that I suspect has been there since it was built. ESG put in a drain behind the finished basement wall and it worked pretty well during the next flood. A few gallons of water (out of thousands pumped) did get on the floor, but it might have been a fluke. I will call them back if it happens again.<br><br>The installation team did a fantastic job in a fairly tight space and really had to move a ton of rock. This is like a 20 foot drain.<br><br>Only reason for the 4 stars is that I had to explain to the installers what to do and I think had I not understood the plan it would have been done incorrectly. I think an engineer should definitely be there at the start of the install. The other reason is I got a neato wifi monitor with the system that no one told me about and had I not had a friend with a similar system I never would have known.<br><br>Total cost was around $7500 and I think it was a fair price for the amount of work.
I'm on the board of a condominium that was built in stages between 1960 and 1980. We have used ESoG for years for technical repair and remediation. They have always done excellent work.
We had our basement wall reinforced and had new gutters installed. The work was timely and professional. We had one minor issue and they corrected promptly to our satisfaction.
Compared to the other company that provided a quote and description of their proposed solution, Engineered Solutions had a lower price and much simpler and less intrusive plan, and implemented it in a very professional manner. That put an end to the problem.
I appreciate their no nonsense honest assessment of the problem. Always prompt and professional. Most importantly provided a lifetime warranty to stand behind workmanship AND the fairest pricing. Recommend highly.
Engineered Solutions did an "ok" job on lifting my sidewalk. The schedule and up front payment was somewhat confusing with lack of communication even though they kept saying they were "detail" focused. The 2 man crew that came to do the work did an okay job, the concret was not completely lifted and they said they did the best job they could do and blamed it on the builder. I hate when one organization places blame on another. The crew also said the salesman who gave me the quote would follow up with me that day and it has been months and I have not heard from anyone until they reached out to me and asked me to do this review.
Hired ESOG to solve a flooding issue in my basement. Trent was the expert advisor. His proposed solution is working perfectly thus far. During very heavy rainfalls I had two issues…water entering my basement via door and window frame area…and horrifically from underneath my basement bathtub.<br><br>Trent advised that the door and window frame issue was not an ESOG issue….that it was related to the grading of soil in area and modifying that along with a retainer wall would solve it. I appreciated his honest counsel even tho it didn’t benefit ESOG. He was absolutely correct.<br><br>Trent advised that a sump pump with necessary drainage system should solve under house issue. It has worked flawlessly thus far. Heavy rains this spring has necessitated the pump working several times including this morning. Not a drop of water in my basement thus far. Post Hurricane Helene flooding ruined my basement carpeting last year so this solution is helping me sleep much better.<br><br>I also consulted with AquaGard and Atlanta Basement Systems. AquaGard’s proposed solution was much more expensive and was not a customized solution like ESOGs. Atlanta Basement Solutions proposed a solution that didn’t sound promising and didn’t follow up with written proposal as promised. Very pleased I went with ESOG.
My entire experience was great starting with Kenny. He was able to diagnose and present an affordable solution for our leak. We had AquaGuard come out prior to ESG. When I told Kenny he said here is what they told you their solution was and it was almost word for word. The person who came out for the repairs did a great job explaining everything. I highly recommend them.
The whole process went smoothly. Initial review, technical quote and acceptance ,then the installation and final testing.<br><br>Recently thought I needed a technician to assess the sump pump. ESOG quickly scheduled a technician to come and check the system. The system was working correctly and there was no issue. The fact that they wanted to make sure we were satisfied speaks volumes about their professionalism. Would highly recommend.
Easy company to work with from the consultation to work completion! Honest, informative, high quality repair completed within their quick timeframe!
Had a great experience working with Marc and his team for pier installation. Marc was more than happy to talk through all of my questions. Thanks!
Consumer Warning:<br>Avoid Engineered Solutions of Georgia if you expect professionalism, accountability, or a proper structural inspection. I hired them for what should have been a full home structural inspection — only to receive a report with glaring inaccuracies that cost me thousands of dollars in repairs.<br><br>When I reported the serious issues, instead of addressing them, Engineered Solutions of Georgia gaslighted me, falsely claiming the contract was limited to the mechanical room — a blatant misrepresentation. A full inspection, for home purchase, is standard unless explicitly narrowed, which was never the case.<br>Multiple other professionals, including licensed structural engineers, later reviewed the conditions and agreed the issues were obvious structural problems. They questioned how any competent engineer could have missed or failed to identify them.<br>Their behavior was unprofessional, unethical, and misleading. They refused to accept responsibility for their errors or work toward a fair resolution.<br><br>Future consumers beware: based on my experience, Engineered Solutions of Georgia cannot be trusted to deliver accurate work or stand behind their services when mistakes are made. Protect yourself and seek a reputable, ethical firm instead.
I highly recommend ESOG to anyone that needs helical piers installed, especially Jason and his team (Miguel and Oscar). They were all very professional, focused and friendly. Most importantly, they did a terrific job! With Jason at the helm, I felt as if I was in good hands every step of the way. This was very important to me considering the fact that the structural integrity of my home was at stake. Marc Berg, the ESOG salesman that won my business, is a straight-up, good guy. The company is a bit more expensive than some of their competitors, but worth it. Another thing worth mentioning is that they offer financing. I was thankful for that.
Excellent service, professional team, and solid work. I have had no additional issues since working with ESoG! The construction crew made the entire process easier to get through with thorough explanations of my issues, and excellent customer service. Best foreman/crew of any project I’ve ever had to get done on any place that I lived.
Jared Morrison came to my house to look at my crawl space after the major rain Atlanta experienced last week. He was on time, thorough in his investigation and had superior knowledge of my options. He recommended that the only option was preventative and currently my home foundation was solid. He recommended putting a fan to dry up the wall area that was still wet from saturation of rain. There was no running water and just to keep an eye on it. You can bet, ESOG will be the first company I call and have shared it on our Facebook neighborhood page. Thank you, Jared, for your honesty and integrity.
James and his crew did a fantastic job on retaining a sinking wall we had. He explained everything in great detail and his team finished the job in two days. There was a feeling of professionalism from the beginning that other companies lacked.<br><br>When we looked for other quotes, It seemed like they just wanted to play with their laser levels than actually fixing the problem. They would quote double what we paid for our now fixed wall. Nothing but quality from James and his crew at Engineering Solutions
Tim Cook is awesome. He educated us on the need for an additional support beam in our crawlspace to Support our kitchen. It was easy to schedule and the work was completed within a week. Thank you so much! I highly recommend using Engineered Solutions of Georgia.
Excellent company. Great service. I had my crawlspace encapsulated two years ago. Just had my second annual inspection and dehumidifier filter change. Raphael was great. Highly recommend this company.
I have used ESOL several times and have been very happy with their work each time. One of the co-owners came out after the work crew arrived to see how things were going. He also answered some questions for me regarding some advice I'd received from a knowledgable neighbor. He could have agreed with my neighbor's advice and added more work for his company but he told me it was not necessary in his opinion! That is an example of the integrity this company has shown me with each project I've had to have done. They provide value for their pricing, unlike their main competitor with whom I've also dealt!
I have been chomping at the bit to get my new kitchen finished. Everything was going full speed ahead until.....screeeeech! Foundation issue. The house was sinking in the middle. A few days and a call to Engineered Solutions of GA, the house was raised up to where it should be and reinforced. The kitchen will be back on schedule. If you need a reliable local company to fix your foundation, Engineered Solutions of GA is a solid company to do the job in a timely manner. Marc was there to evaluate and guide me through the whole process. The cost was surprisingly not as scary as I anticipated. I have a few more tweaks to get a moisture issue taken care of and plan to get them back out to encapsulate the crawl space. Your home is one of your biggest investments. It is the right thing to make sure it holds up to the test of time, and if you plan to sell your home, you can pass on with confidence. I wish the previous owner had the same integrity. It is good to know that in a pinch, this company is available to help and bring back your home to a place that will last for decades and more. ❤️
Ed patiently worked with me to make sure we came up with a cost effective solution that worked for me. Work crews were very professional, experienced, and I could tell they knew what they were doing and did it well. Customer service was excellent and very responsive. Very satisfied with my experience working with this company and will recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.<br><br>Well, first big rain and water was back in my basement. To be fair, the water appears to be coming from under or near the my garage door and not an area they specifically waterproofed. However, I asked for, and believe I paid for, a total solution that did identify water entering under or around the garage door as a problem, and a lot of work, including the installation of a drain, was performed to specifically address that problem. Further, what used to be very responsive customer service that I previously noted above, is no longer happening.
We initially reached out to ESOG after learning that our front porch was pulling away from our house due to water intrusion that occurred before we bought the home. We work with them regularly for re-measurements to ensure everything is secure. After doing the work that was recommended by them, everything has been up to par and measurements are consistent! Luis and his team are helpful and honest.
From the initial consultation at our home to the installation of the encapsulation system, ESOG were complete professionals. We received honest advice about our home and there was no attempt to upsell us or try to sell us things we didn't need. The installation went well and the crew was polite, communicative, and efficient. Highly recommend ESOG!
Our experience with ESOG couldn't have gone smoother. From the first phone call to the final cleanup everyone was courteous, professional, timely, and they made sure we understood all aspects of the process. We appreciate this company and their integrity.
Bruce and his team were fantastic. They solved a massive problem we had with our house sinking. Previous fixes by other companies never truly solved any issues here. While at first we thought the cost was high and we were a little skeptical in pressure grouting, we quickly realized their work and process was so much more sophisticated then the average concrete fix. And the product they are using was so much more advanced than regular concrete fill. The crewa were professional, courteous, and cleaned up each day after themselves. We now have such a high level of confidence and relief that we are finally on sound ground. We are truly grateful for Bruce and the owners and their whole team. Thank you again.
The crew showed up and started digging a part of my yard not even included in the plans. I had to correct them. My yard and carport area was left with concrete pieces thrown in a corner and dried concrete droppings stuck to my carport.
I am a repeat customer. This job, Chad did an amazing job with his estimate and install plan. His crew arrived and knocked out the entire project in two days! Kristen and Suzanne made sure i had access to as many payment options as possible and worked diligently to close this account.<br>Thank you to the entire ESOG team
The 3 three men that did the work couldn't have worked harder or faster. The work they did was complete and professional and they were all very respectful young men. They cleaned up as much as they could before leaving, but the concrete dust left behind in our basement now requires a professional cleaning crew. The lightweight plastic that was used wasn't sturdy enough to contain the dust to the working area and they didn't have any dust collection device running while they were working. That would have made a big difference in the clean up...which is the only problem I have with the work. Our salesman, Kenny T, took great patience to work with us to get a final resolution to our problem. Work is done and it looks just like we thought it would...thanks to Kenny's explanation of the product and installation.
Mike Lewis gave us a strong evaluation and totally free estimate on the support required in the crawl space of our 96 year old Atlanta home. Engineered Solutions got the project done efficiently, effectively and to budget. I recommend their team highly.
ESOG,<br>I just wanted to let your company know that the five ESOG employees that evaluated, supervised and repaired my foundation and sagging floor were outstanding!<br>Chad, Thomas, Sherwin, Tyler, and Jeff were hard-working, kind and professional in all that they did.<br>I felt like they defined my issues and fixed most of my issues expertly and carefully.
I worked with Engineered Solutions of Georgia (ESOG) to address a foundation crack in my basement. The crack was 1/2" at the top and feathered down to a hairline crack at the floor. Alan with ESOG was assigned to my case and inspected the crack and the entire perimeter of the house for any other issues. Alan was very thorough & knowledgeable (with his over 20 years of building experience) and even determined how much one room had fallen due to the settling of the foundation. He developed a plan which included driving 4 foundation piers with brackets and transfer house load to the piers and attempt to lift & stabilize the foundation against any further settlement. He did not try to oversell and install more foundation piers than what was necessarily needed. In addition, ESOG recommended installing 3 carbon fiber staples to the crack and seal it with epoxy to stabilize the crack and keep potential water out of the basement. After the lifting/stabilization was completed, they replaced all cracked bricks (which I provided) and re-pointed all cracks and gaps as a result of the lifting. The brick mason Miguel went out of his way to make sure every cracked brick was replaced and re-pointed all mortar joints affected. In addition, he showed me how to cosmetically touch up old bricks to blend in with older bricks that had mortar on them when they were originally installed. The job was totally completed in 3 days and I was impressed with the highly professional staff that worked on the job. Taylor did an outstanding job on finishing the newly poured concrete floor in the basement. He stayed until the concrete was setup to put on the finishing touches. I would highly recommend ESOG for any foundation repair work that is needed to stabilize your foundation. ESOG guarantees their work for the life of the house and is transferrable to new owners if the house is sold.
ESOG responded promptly to my initial inquiry. They scheduled an inspection at a convenient time. My rep Josh was right on time and explained the problem and proposed repair thoroughly. The estimate came promptly after being reviewed by an engineer. It was a very fair price. The repair team came exactly on time, performed the repairs and left the space spotless. Perfect experience!
Our experience was fantastic. Kenny came out and assessed the issues while explaining it all very clearly for me to comprehend. They did great work in a timely fashion and did an excellent job on the repair (visually turned out way better than I was anticipating) and the cleanup after was phenomenal. All the neighbors even commented on how great of a cleanup they did! Will definitely continue to recommended this company to my clients.
Engineering Solutions just completed installing our waterproofing system, reinforcing walls, and encapsulating our crawlspace. We interviewed and quoted a few top recommended companies and were impressed with ESOG. They were honest, did quality work, and talked us through the difference between what was truly needed and what would just be added value. Their crews showed up on time each morning and worked all day. They finished ahead of schedule. There was one minor thing we wanted addressed after the crews finished and without hesitation the sent them back the next day. Obviously time will tell if all of our issues are truly fixed, but to this point we’ve been very pleased. They were also reasonably priced for the scope of work.
I contacted ESOG to evaluate a foundation issue. Kenny Tortorella came did an excellent job aof evaluating the problem and giving a solution which was installing 7 new adjustable support piers.<br>Lenny and his team did a great job installing the piers. We can feel the difference. The whole team was efficient and courteous.<br>The price was reasonable<br>We couldn't be happier with the job.
ESOG is fantastic. We had some growing cracks in a garage wall and as new homeowners were definitely sweating about it. Engineered Solutions of GA was one of three companies we called out, and were the only ones who actually diagnosed the issue as being a sinking lentel above the garage. They were very thorough in explaining the issue and how their proposed solution would fix it, but also were up front with the fact that we didn't have to solve this now and could wait a few more years.<br><br>We decided to have them do the repairs just for the peace of mind and they installed piers and repaired the lentel extremely quickly and cleanly. They took care to disrupt our yard and driveway to the minimum extent and a week later you can hardly tell that work was done.
Mike Lewis came to our home for an assessment of our foundation. He was open and honest and told us that our home was in good shape. He showed me his reasoning and walked me through the reasons why. Can’t recommend them enough - I was quoted $25k by another company for an unnecessary repair. Glad I got a second opinion from ESOG and Mike
I have spent several months trying to find a business that would solve my basement flooding problem. I had no luck until I met Chad from Engineered Solutions. He did not propose a complete overhaul of my basement interior for thousands of dollars, he suggested a redirection of the rain water to keep it out of my basement. I’m happy to say the simplest solution was the best. We just had a storm and my basement stayed dry. Thanks Engineered Solutions!
Their service was excellent. Dan was very helpful in explaining what was being done on my basement . Dan and his crew worked hard and was very efficient throughout the process. Kept in touch with me encouraging me to ask questions. And when I had a question he would stop and give me his full attention. The crew completed the job earlier than scheduled. Even after they left I had a couple of questions concerning the installation of the sump pump and Dan and Ben made the time to come back and provide the service. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
Fast and efficient. Kenny was very professional and understanding of our situation. He was flexible enough to make it work for us. He came<br>Back to our house a second time to make sure he had all the information about our problem and the potential solution. The rest of the crew was top notch. The work was completed days/hours before the original schedule. We will definitely work with them if the occasion come up again.
Ben Calhoun came out and did an assessment of what would be required to correct the flooding that we experienced in our basement. He did a good job of explaining to us what had caused our issue and the engineered solution that would remedy our problem. It wasn't a cheap repair, but was less expensive that another company with similar recommendation quoted to us. Once we made the decision to get the repair completed, we were scheduled very quickly, and it took the two days that we were told it would take to complete the work. I would recommend Ben and Engineered Solutions of Georgia (ESOG) if you have problems with water in a basement or crawlspace.
Tim, the assessor was very professional, informative, and helpful. Justin and his team were awesome as well. They communicated their arrival, did great work in a timely fashion, and walked through everything when they were finished. All of this priced at fair market value. I would recommend them to anyone.
Great experience from estimate to the conclusion of the installation. Professional, with no high pressure sales or dangling of discounts that supposedly disappear if you don’t commit right now. Fair pricing with excellent details of the work to be performed. Their crew worked diligently to perform the work in a consistent and safe manner.
I would say the experience dealing with ESOG employees and Bruce were a (5) as they were very responsive, efficient and customer-oriented. Waiting to do more work with them. The subcontractor that did the bulk of the work was excellent in doing most of the actual work, but the manners, etiquette, and communication style did not sync with mine.
Best our expectations! Crew did excellent work with three columns needing repair at our home in Talking Rock. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Work looked great and they cleaned up the site before leaving. Highly recommend the company.
ESOG Recently encapsulated my crawlspace, sealed vents and installed a commercial grade 70 pint dehumidifier to condition the space and minimize moisture. They also evaluated my home for possible placement of drainage tubes around the periphery of the crawlspace and a sump pump. This was not done. I felt the initial evaluation of my crawlspace was very thorough and accurate. The project went as planned. The crew was courteous. The work took a single day to complete
Excellent work from an amazing crew. We had some crawl space issues and structural work needing to be addressed, and Engineered Solutions didn't just try to sell us a preset system out of a sales catalogue, they provided an individualized approach tailor made to fix our situation the right way. I can't thank them enough for taking the time to address every concern and explain each element of our repairs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for high quality work. Thank you again to Bruce, Jeremy, and crew!
Initially I was very impressed with this company.<br>This property had serious flooding issues.<br>This was the 4th company to come out but the only company who let me make the decision on my own without pressure.<br>The contract was honored.<br>The engineer contacted me to let me know he was on the way.<br>The job was estimated to take 3 days and it did.<br>The communication was outstanding.<br>They saved the wall insulation so I could Re-use it.<br>They cleaned up afterwards.<br>They even had a dumpster.<br>Quality work and done properly.<br>Really appreciate it.<br>My one wish: that they jackhammered along the grout lines. I’m not sure if that was possible.<br><br>PLEASE READ: Update: 1/9/24 Terrible rain storms hit our area. And guess what?<br>There’s water in our basement!!!<br>How disappointed were we to see water seeping in.<br>I called ESOG.<br>They asked if we lost power.<br>We did not.<br>We had people working using the electricity.<br>We did not lose power.<br>They assured me someone would come out the next day: 1/10/24.<br>1/10/24- no call, no show.<br>1/11/24- no call, no show.- It rained on Thursday and more water.<br>Friday 1/12/24 I call ESOG and ask when would they send someone.<br>They gave me the number of one engineer who then sent me the number of another engineer.<br>They finally do show, only to tell me that the pump was unplugged.<br>I don’t believe that for one moment.<br>What I do know is this system was expensive but currently doesn’t work.<br>I don’t want water in the house.<br>We are hoping that ESOG will stand by their word .<br>I will return with updates as necessary.<br><br>Update:<br>1/17/2024<br>ESOG returned to resolve the trench issue.<br>It has not rained yet.<br>Once it does I will see if the system is functioning.
Absolutely would recommend to anyone who needs foundation repair and stabilization. Bruce our engineer was great. Very professional, knowledgeable and drafted a plan that was affordable and built to last. The installers were equally qualified and did a great job. I'm very very happy with this company!
We as people don't do enough of this and I wanted to make sure I did. Alan came out to our house and quickly determined there were no major issues that would cause us to do business with them. Yes he took time out of his day to come out and it resulted in ESOG Repair not having a business transaction. You don't see this these days and instead get companies to convince to you have a problem and need to spend money with them. So I can not tell you their work is great but I can do better, there integrity speaks louder than their craftmanship.
We used ESOG to help with stabilization and restructure of our foundation. Their Representative Marc came out and thoroughly inspected our crawl space and presented a plan to help with our current problems and prevent future issues. Their crew was very courteous and kept the jobsite clean. I highly recommend ESOG.
ESOG waterproofed my combination basement/crawl space about two and a half years ago. The basement’s been completely dry ever since, despite many downpours. Before this project, I had to clean up water almost every time we had rain. The project involved temporarily moving shelves, stairs and my hot water heater. The crew went out of their way to accommodate me during the work and moved everything back with no issues. I prefer to wait to review a job like this until after seeing whether it works. I am very pleased with the results and recommend the company highly.
I requested estimates from two reputable firms regarding a crack in my foundation wall that resulted in a leak of water into my basement area. It was evident from the beginning that individual from Engineered Solutions was very professional and knew what he was talking about. The other firm was also good but Engineered Solutions was far superior. The estimate came in under my expectations and was lower than the other firm. In addition, Engineered Solutions agreed to replace and finish all the drywall as well as replace all of the framing and re-set the entry door. The other firm did not include this in their estimate. Engineered Solutions came to do the job as stated and was on time. The job was completed in a timely manner and everything was very clean. The final product was as good as new. I highly recommend this firm due to a timely and reasonable estimate and a job that was professionally completed.
I had some pretty significant structural issues on my house. Several joists and the main support beam for the house needed to be replaced. I had 7 quotes on the project and decided to go with Engineered Solutions. They were definitely not the cheapest option, but they were the most thorough with their plan and with their explanation on what needed to be fixed. Before ever signing a contract, they spent nearly 3 hours at the house devising a detailed plan on how to correct the issues at my home. My sales rep, Allen Dolph, was fantastic. I honestly would trust Allen with any project. Quite simply, he really is the best. One thing Allen said was that Engineered Solutions is a really great company, and he said that they will always make any situation right. Knowing that is why I went with Engineered Solutions – I really needed the project to be done correctly. I wanted to make sure that it would be right.<br>The project started off really rough. It’s actually why I can’t give Engineered Solutions a higher rating. Sparing the details, the work was simply not done correctly the first time. I had to have a second crew come out and correct the work from the first crew. But, what Allen originally said did prove to be correct – they made it right. I really appreciate that they did that. If you chose to work with Engineered Solutions, ask for Juan. Juan and his crew are really awesome. They were incredibly professional and hard workers. Even if you have to wait longer, I would specifically request that Juan complete your job.
I'm not sure what to say at this point. After getting approximately five estimates where two could not accommodate my basement bedroom leak, but three were able to, I chose the one that would tear up less of my home. I cannot tell if I made the right decision because, since the first day on the job, 3/3/22, ESOG Waterproofing company installed an exterior drainage system by digging the concrete driveway I had installed. Still, they didn't accommodate enough "pitch" and downpour of rain, my basement room flooded after the first rain, so their service manager Keith C. had to come out. Some of the same crew came back the following week on Friday, 3/11/22, to fix the leak and make serious adjustments since the first visit. Well, after this job, and the next time it rained, I now have more water than ever! My basement was in one inch of still water, the systems in place didn't work, and the water started spreading to other rooms (the bathroom and the second bedroom). I'm disheartened, frustrated, damn near depressed, and ultimately disappointed and unsure of this company. Besides this, they installed a very large sump pump in my main bedroom that is not aesthetically pleasing and they told me I would have to pay for. I am losing tons of money since I cannot rent my AirBnB space, I cannot travel for work, and I have to be here when they work. Also, did I mention that after hours and on weekends you cannot reach anyone, although the answering service gives you two people to call and their cell numbers?
I had ESOG come to our house for 2 separate quotes: waterproofing our basement and foundation repair. Both times, we were able to get an appointment within 1-2 days. Marc was the person who came out both times, and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to work with him. He thoroughly explained their solutions, discussed comparisons between them and their competitors, answered our questions, and never made us feel rushed. The best part was they didn’t call to do frequent follow-ups after sending the quote—they let us come to them when we were ready. We decided to choose a different company for waterproofing (mostly because the other company had already waterproofed part of the basement with the previous owners), but chose them to do our foundation repair. Although ESOG was quite a bit more expensive that the quote we received from their competitor, we received great feedback from our realtor and contractor that it’s really worth choosing a company that has a reputation for quality work and has engineers on staff. Our foundation repair took 2 days, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire process. The employees who were doing construction were very polite, alerted us if they saw anything a little off, and were done on time and left the place looking very clean. They made sure to call Marc to double check that the best way to install the soldier beams and carbon fiber strap without voiding the warranty of the waterproofing that was already done. Overall, we’re very pleased with our experience with ESOG and will always recommend them.
Five stars from top to bottom. Prompt, courteous, and friendly. Excellent work waterproofing our basement and installing a dehumidifier to gravity drainage outside. Answered after hours texts and questions. The whole team was great from Myles and his crew to Keith, Raphael, Josh and ladies at the office! Thanks so much!!!
ESOG was out at our house during June to waterproof our garage & basement. Awesome experience and great value all around! Easy quote/estimate process with Kenny, who was detailed, communicative, and 100% willing to answer questions. And nice follow up from the main office with a polished proposal to book the job and confirm before the work started. The crew of Chad, Orlando, and Mercy were friendly, and it was clear they are experienced, knowledgeable professionals. They worked efficiently and super hard to produce an excellent result. Douglas, the supervisor, visited several times to review the work. Much appreciated and many thanks to the whole team!
We had a leak in our basement that started out very small back in the 90’s. With the passage of time and lots of rain the last few years, stuffing towels on the floor every time it rained, we finally decided to deal with a permanent solution. We got three estimates, not only for pricing, but also to see what each company had to say about what needed to be done. They all pretty much gave the same advice - Jack hammer several inches from where the foundation meets the wall, install a drain system with a sump pump at the end and a vapor barrier on the wall. This was important info for me because friends were telling me we’d have to tear out our shrubs in front of the house and dig out all the way down to the basement floor, lots of $$$.<br>The first quote we got was from a national company that has been in business for a long time. They had good reviews and I’m sure they would have done a good job. But the rep, who I’m sure gets a commission, told me on the first visit that “prices would soon be going up.” Then he called or texted me once a week for a least a month after that, again advising “prices would be going up,” trying to get me to lock into a contract. He told me that the job came with a “lifetime warranty” and that the warranty was transferrable to new owners if we sold the house.<br>The next company was a local family-owned business, referred through neighbors on Next Door, that also had good reviews. Their quote was about $300 cheaper. I learned from them that in order to qualify for some companies’ “lifetime warranty” you had to jump through hoops, such as paying for an annual inspection, and, if you missed a year, then your “lifetime warranty” was voided. Not something that was mentioned by Company #1 (READ THE FINE PRINT IN THE CONTRACT). And as far as the warranty being transferable to a new owner, with Company #1, you have to notify them within a certain number of days after you sell the house as to who the new owners are. Then the new owners get a couple years warranty for free; after that, they qualify for an extended service agreement, “price, terms and conditions…will be determined at the time of transfer.” Liked Company #2, but they had not been in the business but for a few years.<br>ESOG was the last company that we received a quote from. Since we had already received two quotes, I felt pretty comfortable about what needed to be done. Their rep, Chad Harmon, was super. Just a nice guy and absolutely no pressure at all. No weekly phone calls or texts. However, after receiving his quote, I had some questions about the fine print, which he answered quickly and to my satisfaction. He did not try to sell us on something we didn’t need, such as a battery backup or a sump pump larger than necessary. They offer an annual inspection for a fee, which is not mandatory to keep the warranty in place. AND, “the interior drainage system has a transferable life of structure warranty.” In the end, what sold us on using ESOG was not only their great reviews, the fact that it is a Georgia-based company, the owners are engineers, that they’ve been in Forsyth County’s Best Report Picks for years, but also the way Chad treated us and explained things. If we didn’t feel comfortable with him, none of that other stuff would have mattered. Chad, I hope your bosses realize what a gem you are! I didn’t even realize until just now that ESOG was actually the lowest quote we received, almost $400 less than Company #2 and almost $1300 less than Company #1.<br>Today a crew of three guys came out (Jeremy, Malik & Dave), right on time, and got the job done in less than seven hours. They put up plastic sheeting to protect the surroundings and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. It was noisy, sweaty, back breaking work, but they made it seem easy, and were so pleasant to deal with – the kind of people you’d love to have as friends or neighbors. I can’t give them and this company enough kudos! And I’ve got to give a shout-out to the front line - the ladies in the office! They get the ball rolling!
Read this whole novel when selecting a foundation company. I worked with ESOG about a month ago. Our foundation had settled from water damage in the corner of our enclosed garage and in our kitchen. This was very stressful, as you can imagine, and not a hard expense to swallow. Allan, the project manager, was up front and spot on with his estimate to the cost and the cause of the foundation sinking. After consulting with several other companies, he was the only one who seemed as if he knew the cause and the correct solution. Fast forward to the work being done. We encountered a plumbing issue that ended up matching Allan's guess of the initial cause and confirmed. The plumbing issue that was discover (and caused further damage than expected) caused a stop in work because of our insurance company getting involved. To those reading, there are only 2 states that cover the foundation with homeowner's insurance, don't waste the claim. ESOG's actually owner's, Jay and Luis, got involved and did everything in their power to speed the project along and make sure things were done correctly...even while I was across the country for work. I had my reservations, but they helped us get everything back on track and find a good plumber to fix the plumbing issue.<br><br>In all honesty, as everyone in this situation would be, I thought when the further issues came along, we would be fighting with them, insurance, and ultimately get screwed. This was far from the case. Luis, Allan, Eddie and the entire team were genuine and honest with both the foundation sinking issue and the plumbing issue. They could have easily taken the opposite approach but they were very up front, straight forward, and I genuinely believe, had my best interest in mind when we encountered the issue. I would say I feel like they went above and beyond, but that would be an understatement to say the least. At the end, I truly appreciate everything they did for me and my family and would recommend them to anyone with a foundation issue. If you look at the pictures, the floor was about a full inch lower and they got it up. The floor is now painted and looks like the day we bought it. Thanks guys!
