FYI quotes will come sight unseen over the phone based on square footage and a few questions over the phone. I called to ask for some clarification on some items that weren't quoted in the bid that I felt needed to be done & make a real price comparison. Other companies that bid the job had my fairly basic requirements in their bids without even asking. The sales rep (Jo Estrada) was condescending and rude to me over the phone and said that those companies would never do that and he knows them all (so I guess I'm a liar?). Said I'm "not and inspector" so I don't know what I'm talking about. Told me to go read the code etc. I'm also a tad skeptical that a sight unseen quote won't result in additional cost when the work starts- because they haven't seen the scope of work in person.

I received a quote very quickly for attic insulation clean and replace for circa 1964 home (replace original insulation, clean, fill gaps, install new to code). Was eligible for significant rebate from PSE. Entire staff (estimator, inspector, crew) were timely, courteous and respectful of my time and home. Showed detailed photos of work completed. Top notch!

I can't say enough about these guys!! We had a nasty rodent infestation under the house. They came in and WOW!!! Their work was WAAAAY beyond our expectations! They cleaned that horrible mess in record time. They had to do the entire length of the house and did an outstanding job! They found a water leak from our water heater. Can't thank them enough for that. They saved us a major future expense. They left a portion open for the plumber to come in to fix and replace the water heater. The plumber was impressed with how clean it was. He said it looked like what you would expect under a new home. We notified them the plumber was done and they came back and finished the job immediately. I TOTALLY recommend these guys to ANYONE lookin to have insulation work done. Insulation Company responded quickly, and did a good job getting a vapor barrier and insulation under our cottage. I was impressed because the cottage only had about a 18" clearance. The crew dug it out - removing the dirt - and cleaned up the site after finishing.

Insulation Co cleaned my attic and put in new insulation. They were reasonable and easy to work with. I was initially hesitant to use them since they provide an estimate without a home visit and rely on documents for my house from the City Planning Office. After dealing with a couple of sales people from other insulation companies that do home visits , I realized Insulation Co provided better price and better insulation. I do recommend them.

Insulation Co recently performed a crawlspace cleanout. Jo Estrada performed a bid of my home based upon on-line square footage and floor plans very quickly. His staff of 3 men arrived at about 7:30 AM and completed the crawlspace cleanout in about 7 hours. Several things that I learned during this process my 1998 built home: Had insulation with formaldehyde Had R-19 insulation - New installed insulation was R-30 The old insulation was no longer efficient after 20 years The new (R-30) insulation will be efficient for 30 years Insulation Co also does attic insulation replacement When they completed the crawlspace cleanout the crawlspace looked better than it did when the home was new.

They arrived (on time) and immediately went to work, removing all the old insulation and ground cover. Then they repaired the vents that needed repairs. They identified 2 very small water leaks and told me where they were so I can pass that info to the plumber. They also took pictures of some wire connections that do not follow code. They installed new ground cover and insulation. They cleaned up all the old insulation and took that with them. They also dealt with the raccoon and her 3 babies. They were great.

Insulation Co (Jo Estrada) had insulation installers come to our century old house to remove old attic insulation, do a bit of mold remediation, insulate the bathroom fan exhaust, cover the two previously open gable spaces at either end of our roof, then blow in new cellulose insulation. All this took a day, and all was cleaned up like nothing happened. Polite, efficient, professional, and the price was competitive.

Joe and his team went out of their way to make sure that everything was addressed with cleaning up, sealing everything, and installing insulation in both my attack and crawl space. Yet another 5 stars for this crawl space experts company. A crew of 5 came (on a Sunday!) and worked HARD for about 5 hours to remove ancient insulation and vapor mat and replace it with new ones, clean out rodent debris, and block rodent access with screens and concrete. They found a (gasp) leak in a pipe that has been there who knows how long. Gave us good recommendations about a needed foundation repair. All for a reasonable price: they made and estimate and stuck to it. Highly recommended.

Water had always been a problem for my crawlspace, especially during raining and snowing season. Asking around, installing a French drain and a sump pump appeared to be the solution. I searched around and picked Insulation Co. Estimation without inspection seemed weird at first, but it made totally sense since the foundation layout is all there in the files. Jo had always been responsive, detailed and nice whenever I had questions. Scheduling was easy and Rafael and the team did a great and efficient job onsite. 2 months after the installation, we noticed that there was still standing water and they came back to install more pipes and gravels. I had a very positive experience with this business. A company I used to replace the crawlspace insulation last year had mistakenly sealed off the critical fresh air intake for my wood stove, which was not discovered until I tried to use the stove for heat during the recent weeklong power outage. Although under warranty, that company has gone out of business. Julio Garcia from Insulation Co. arrived promptly, quickly corrected the problem, and I now have my emergency heat source functioning again! I recommend using this business for both insulating and rodent proofing buildings.

It’s never fun having to tear out and replace all the insulation and vapor barrier in your crawlspace. I received bids from two different companies and Insulation Co. came in with a more detailed bid at a lower cost than the competitor. They did fantastic work. Everyone was friendly and communicative. They also took extra pictures of a leaky drain pipe that was causing issues so I could have that rectified ASAP. I would absolutely use Insulation Co. again!

Jo and team responded on very short notice to do a complete attic clean out, re-seal, and re-insulation to bring it up to code. They worked on a Sunday to respect our tight timeline, worked quickly and did a thorough job that involved a really fantastic clean out, re-seal of every edge, corner etc., bringing a venting pipe to code by routing a second one through the roof, and then re-blowing 16" of new insulation to bring it all up to date. I didn't even know such a service existed and I would recommend Insulation Co to anyone.

After looking for a escapee cat, I discovered the insulation in the crawl space was, like, awful. I phoned Joe, who answered instead of the dread voicemail and we were able to work out an estimate over the phone with the magic of tech. Gave an estimate over the phone which worked out great. They did make the lowest bid. Since they also had good reviews and were local, we went with them. Did a good job in the time they promised and cleaned up well. One attic vent was directed to the garage instead of out the top of the roof. A simple phone call with Jo was all it took to get an Attic insulation removal quote. The crew of two setup and finished the clean out in just about 6 hrs. Their price was reasonable compared to others. The crew was informative on some issues they saw during the work, and brought to my attention.

Jo was great about answering questions during the bid process. On the planned work day, crew showed up when expected. They quickly set to work laying down plastic sheeting to protect floors and stuff in the living area, then removed old insulation and sealed spaces, installed baffles and pumped in new insulation. The difference with the new insulation is very noticeable. Previously, the temperature was inconsistent room to room, now entire level of the house is very consistent. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Great job, would recommend.

Great experience working with Insulation Co. I had questions that came up during the process and the Jo was always available and open about explaining things/steps to us. Our insulation work had to go hand in hand with our roofing work, and Jo worked with our roofing crew to coordinate the timing of the insulation work so that everything flowed smoothly. The crew even did some extra insulation in the vaulted part of the attic when the roof was exposed for the roofing work, and they didn’t charge us extra for that. Insulation Co. has our recommendation!

I had Insulation Company come and blow insulation into my attic space a couple of months back. Being a new build, they had to make sure that we would pass the inspection requiring sealing up any holes with expanding foam, making sure the depth was up to code, putting in the baffles, and installing ruler markers so the inspector could clearly see the depth was correct. They did all of this beautifully, professionally, and promptly. Joe Estrada was very responsive with communication. I am happy to recommend them. We passed the insulation inspection!

Insulation Co did a great job for us in the San Juan Islands. They replaced insulation, took away the old insulation and even did a repair on our dryer vent. They arrived early, worked hard and did a complete cleanup. I would highly recommend them. Hard workers who did a really fine job.

Jo was great to work with to understand the process and pricing, and his team was really thorough. We hired them to clean out our old 1928-built home's attic (which I'm pretty sure hasn't been done in at least 50 years), then after our other trades did their thing (wiring etc), Jo's team came back to blow in the new insulation and install batts on the walls. He even reminded me to take advantage of their free follow-up inspection in 2 years to make sure the attic is still in tip top shape.

I came in to do some drywall repair after the purchase of a home...inspection report had a few flags that needed to be done. When I went into the attic and crawl spaces...I had to tell the homeowner that it was done amazingly well; insulation at a consistent depth, the Sealer/Primer was done with a nice thick coat (normally thin and skimpy from most) . Best job I've seen in 26years of being in the trades. Well done Jo.

However, they Showed up on time, did the work As we agreed to, and left Everything spotless. Not even any scraps left laying around! Quality service for a great price. We got a quote from Insulation Co and a couple other places to do a crawl space clean on our home in Shoreline. It had been something the inspector told us we needed to do when we moved in and we finally decided to make a move on it after having about two weeks of what smelled like a dead rat. Joe was great to talk to on the phone and answered my questions with consideration and was never patronizing. We then booked with them which was very easy. Rafael and Tony came with the insulation Co box truck the day of the installation and did everything that was sent in the itemized quote very efficiently (another plus of this place versus the competitors). There even was some confusion around what I meant when asking to rebuild our crawl space door, which meant they didn't come with everything they needed, but Rafael went to Home Depot, got the materials he needed, and completed the door nonetheless. They did a stellar job and it looks so much better. Very satisfied with their service!
