Happy with the work and price if needed I would hire them again

We called Koala for insulation work but had a special request. We asked for all the old insulation to be removed on one day while we had a/c work completed and then asked them to return after that work was completed to install new insulation. Without an issue Koala competed the 2 jobs without a problem. They accommodated us on dates/times and the did a fantastic job. Seriously one of the best vendors we've used in a long time. I highly recommend them and will use them for any insulation needs I have moving forward.

Exemplary. Andrew assessed the attic ducts and insulation because of recurring condensation problems in summer. He provided exceptional service to address the problem. Recommending relatively low cost solutions to test. He was patient, kind , willing to try to understand the root problem. Unlike many who jumped at the chance to offer very expensive proposals and who didn’t thoroughly understand the problem. What a blessing I called Koala and he answered. I would strongly recommend him and will use him if needed.

Inquired on several contractors for attic blown-in insulation estimates. Ended up choosing Koala Insulation through Lowes projects. Did find price estimate to be very reasonable plus loved how they used Johns Mansfield product. As courtesy, the team re-taked some radiant barrier that was loose, bravo. Entire project took about 2 hours to complete. Existing R-Value of insulation before project was R12 at 0-6" attic coverage. Goal was to get at least to R-38. Attic coverage after project done is significantly improved. Would definitely suggest Koala for any residential or commercial insulation needs for service.

I made a request for a quote and in no time at all, I was in contact with a member of the team. I was scheduled easily and a representative (Andrew) from Koala came to look at my attic. Andrew investigated and showed me where the problem areas were. He prepared options and recommended actions while he was in person. Then he prepared a quote and e-mailed it to me. I accepted it and then he scheduled a crew to come out... All in the same visit. When his crew came out and they were so kind. They asked me to look at the attic space after they did their work and see what I thought. They were very interested in my input and addressed all my concerns. I'm very glad I hired them. 100% recommend Koala Insulation. They didn't try to upsale us. They were straight to the point on what we needed in our super large attic, and readily answered all questions we had. The house has been significantly cooler and we've been able to turn off our second fan at night.

Called this place Tuesday as I am remodeling a bathroom and found some sheathing issues. Before just putting the walls back up I called koala based on their glowing reviews and explained my project and was scheduled bright and early for today. At no point was I told there was a job minimum. To be frank, it wouldn’t have mattered because I don’t have the skill to do this myself and I would have tacked on some attic insulation to meet the minimum had I been told prior. The guy showed up on time and gave notice prior (only reason I gave 2 stars). When he saw the job he asked me what I wanted and literally told me it wasn’t worth it because “if this wall looks like this they probably all do”. 1. Isn’t your job to sell? What does that matter to you? 2. That actually isn’t the case. The showers were the only areas I couldn’t inspect prior to drywall but his condescending tone wouldn’t have cared. Also, what do you care? If I want air sealing and upgraded insulation isn’t that your literal job? From the get go he was so uninterested in what I wanted. After I wasted a solid 15 minutes talking he goes “well we have a $1,200 minimum and this is a small job”. Honestly, worst sales man. I said why didn’t anyone tell me that? His reply? “I don’t know, I don’t know who you spoke to.” I spoke to someone at your company, why does it matter who? Don’t yall all know your SOPs? He literally couldn’t leave fast enough. Had he said “let’s see what other items we can do to make it worth your while” I would of explained my entire attic isn’t air sealed and it wouldn’t be so awesome to have the blown in insulation removed, air sealed, and new applied. I’d also at the very least love foam board installed to divide the attic air space from my home attic space. But again, he didn’t ask and honestly didn’t care. Not sure what gave the $1,200 must be too much for her thought but I make well over 6 figures a year and live in Boerne. I can assure you I would have been fine paying whatever amount considering I expressed the urgency in which I wanted this completed by. People can barely afford groceries and I’ve never had to work so hard in my life to get men to take me seriously and take my money on non essential goods. What a joke

The owner (Andrew) personally showed up at my home to inspect and recommend application options. Thoroughly explained the process and we set the date and time. From start to finish great experience. Andrew Horvath gave our estimate and Sergio and Ezra were our installers. We were shown before and after pics. Lots of insulation was lacking in the before pics. KOALA was highly recommended on Yelp and they did not disappoint.

Very happy with the entire process. I contacted Lowe's who recommended Koala and was contacted quickly by Andrew to set up a time for project review. Quotes were provided for several options. Once I made a decision and accepted the proposal the job was scheduled quickly. The installers, Ezra and Anthony arrived on time and immediately went to work and didn't stop until project completion and clean up. I met with Austin who came out to look at the work I wanted done which was completely vacuum out the old insulation and replace with new blown in insulation. I’d give 20 stars if I could. I needed to get a significant amount of insulation blown in, and given the cold spots in the house and increasing use of my heater, I’d put it off for too long. The team at Koala explained my options, pros and cons, and other work needing done to protect my home investment long-term. My attic was so well insulated afterwards, my A/C had to kick on. They even cleaned up afterwards. Very respectful team. I’d work with them again, but they did such a good job I probably won’t have to for a long time!

I chose Koala Insulation after reading recommendations on Nextdoor. I was scheduled for 7 a.m. and they arrived right on time. Ezra and Buddy were very nice young men, they took pictures of the work and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Koala for your insulation needs.

A termite inspector from a pest control company told us during an inspection that we had a rat infestation in our attic of our 2 year old home. He recommended we suck all the insulation out and replace it with new. His estimate was extremely large, so we told him we would get a second estimate and get back to him. In the mean time, Let’s take care of this rat issue. Put out some traps or whatever you guys do to get rid of them. He told us the insulation company would suck them up! Then, we called Koala and Austin Combs came to our home within an hour. He inspected our attic. Spent some time talking to us, and told us it appeared that there weren’t any animals in our attic. Some signs like tunnels were there, but he couldn’t find any feces or urine. He gave us an estimate, that was almost half of the original companies, but suggested we call a pest control company to check for rodents first. Long story, shortened…We have no rodents in our attic. If it weren’t for this company and especially Mr. Combs honesty in dealing with customers we easily could have been taken for thousands of dollars. He also did a follow up call to make sure all was okay. We need more people and companies like this! I wish I had some work to throw at them, but will definitely remember them when I do need them!!

Austin Combs who was friendly, kind and respectful did such an amazing job, checking out my attic and providing a quick quote for the job needed and scheduling it for the near future. Arthur and Shawn arrived early and got to work installing the solar attic fan to spraying foam insulation. These two young men worked diligently until totally completed. Both were informative, friendly and courteous in manner. I felt confident with the work done and hope to encourage others to do the same while these high temperatures are present especially for seniors.

Not the cheapest home upgrade but well worth it. We had Koala come out this past March to top off our attic off with blown in fiberglass. They did a great job. Very professional and left our home clean. They also added a solar fan to help pull the heat out. Now that we have had some heat, I can say it has made a huge difference. Our AC's are not working near as hard and our home is overall very comfortable. Last summer we could not get below 80 degrees until late evening.

Amanda came to do the inspection and quote and was very knowledgeable and genuine in sharing options and what would be best for my house. Scheduling was easy and quick, Gary was great to work with and stayed in touch regarding possible delays because of a hurricane. Ezra and Buddy showed up on time (a little early actually but called to make sure it was ok, were very polite and professional and explained the whole process and how long it would take. They were quick and thorough, showed me pictures of my completed project and shared additional information about my fan. If I ever need another fan, or when I decide in improve my insulation or have friends who need one I will definitely be using this team again.

After speaking to 5+ different professionals who all suggested wildly different solutions, Koala actually did due diligence in checking the space with a thermal camera and scope, and then provided well thought out solutions to our problems. I contacted Koala about getting some attic insulation. The attic was getting up to about 140 degrees last summer during peak outside temps and it was making the upstairs of the two story home at about 90-95 degrees. Throughout the summer, there was always about a 10-15 degree difference from the upstairs and downstairs and the a/c was struggling to keep up with the large temperature differences. Amanda first came to do a quote to understand the best options. She is very knowledgeable and walks you through all of your options. I greatly appreciated her genuineness, professionalism, and expertise. Never once did I feel like she was trying to upsell me. Felt very comfortable with the attic insulation purchase and was reasonably priced. Anthony and co. came for installation and were in and out before noon. Anthony and Co. walked me through everything they were going to do, were very professional, kept me updated throughout the process and let me see the final outcome. They cleaned up after themselves, you wouldn’t have even known they came through. Outstanding service from Anthony and co. Writing this about 6 weeks after installation (Sorry Koala!) and we’re getting into those pretty hot temperatures, up to 100. I can confirm that the attic insulation did the job. On Memorial Day, when outside temperature reached 100, attic sat at an improved 115 degrees. Upstairs is only about a 2-3 degree difference from the downstairs. The difference is night and day. If you are looking for great communication, customer service, and quality workmanship, these are the guys to call. I had a portable building that I wanted to insulate using spray foam. I called, gave some basic info, and received a return call shortly. They helped me pick the right type of insulation and the quality of finish (believe it or not, this is something I never considered) Three days later, the job was done. Needed existing attic insulation topped off, I had practically none in the 50 yr old house I just bought. Andrew spent quite a while talking to me and answering all of my questions. Ezra and Anthony showed up and started working removing all the old pink insulation under my mobile home early in the morning and did not stop until it was done. They were the most friendly and hard working guys I think I have ever had working on my house. Removing this old insulation that was in very bad shape, (yuck) under a mobile home in very tight spaces is not something I would do, but they did it in record time and with a smile on their face the entire time. They will be back to spray the closed cell as soon as I have all my AC ducting replaced. I HIGHLY recommend the entire team at Koala, they have been fantastic!!

A very pleasant experience starting with Amanda crawling through the attic to come up with the estimate. Outstanding! From initial contact to total customer service to price value to installation, it was by far some of the best service I have received. They made sure I understood what was going to happen and explained it all at the end of the job, to include pictures and another explanation. The job site, my home, was left clean. Every aspect of the service was 5-star, from scheduling an estimate to post-installation of attic insulation. Communication was always easy, prompt, and positive - whether talking to the owner, general manager, sales rep, or installers. They were on time, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. We noticed an immediate improvement in the house maintaining heat during winter freezes, and expect it will curb electric AC bills this summer. Koala staff even assisted with the necessary documentation for me to get an energy rebate from the local utility.

Andrew was very nice and did a thorough inspection of the attic, he patiently answered all questions we had about the estimate and was easy to reach. Arthur installed the insulation very quickly and did a great job.

Koala insulation did a great job in insulating my 41 year old home which had hardly any insulation to 15 inches. Austin was on time, very friendly and showed me pictures of before and after of the entire attic area. They finished everything in a timely and thorough manner and cleaned up any insulation that had spilled in the garage area. I also had some exposed water pipes in the attic, and they wrapped the rubber tubing around them. Amanda was the first person I had dealt with from the company on the initial inspection of my home and presenting a bid for the work. She got up in my attic went all over it measuring and taking pictures. Explained everything to me. I was very impressed with her friendly nature and thoroughness. Their work is great and price was very fair. I recommend Koala for your insulation needs.

Really appreciate the quick service from Koala Insukation. On time! Great price! Great results! Call them now if you need insulation in your attic. Our house was built in 2007. My summer electric bills were over $500. They came out, evaluated, made recommendations and got to work. Then the freeze came. We didn’t turn the heat above 73 and we were always warm. Not looking forward to the summer heat but I am looking forward to a much more reasonable electric bill!

Koala insulation did a large foam insulation job on a build I am working on in Wimberley. They did an amazing job and were super easy to work with. They were good to work with. My schedule got delayed a couple of times but Koala was right there when I needed them. We've been happy with the way the insulation performs and most of it is on the west side where the afternoon heat is the worst and we needed something better than batts.

They have showed up on time for every appointment. The estimate was well explained. The workman did a good job and I am pleased with the results. I would recommend them to help cool your house down in the summer. I like the solar attic fan.

Koala Insulation was a pleasure to have install my attic insulation. I'm glad I had them come out for a second estimate, which was almost $1000 less than my first estimate! They showed up on time, did a great job and no mess for me to clean up afterwards. A great group of people!

This team was amazing. First, Andrew came to my home to give me an estimate. He took his time with his assistant crawling around in the attic, taking pictures and making a drawing on graph paper as to what needed to happen. He worked with my HVAC guy to get the best solution for my house. They scheduled the work that fit our needs. My daughter works from home so they had to work with her schedule. They blew in insulation where the Styrofoam insulation could not be installed. Then they blew in the Styrofoam. We had to leave for that part of the project. I was concerned about leaving strangers in my house but they each introduced themselves and I could see these guys were very professional. As I walked away I had confidence all would be well. When the project was completed they called me to let me know when to come home to check their work. The attic looked amazing.They cleaned everything up and even swept my garage. I cannot say enough good things about this company. It was more expensive than some other quotes but it was done right and they were worth it. Thank you to the whole team!

I recently used Koala Insulation of Texas Hill Country to install fiberglass batts into a remodel I am currently working on. Everyone with the company with whom I interacted was friendly and helpful. It's an older home and a bit unique in its construction, and Jeff (the initial contact/sales rep) was very helpful in figuring out the most efficient way to get the house well-insulated.

Koala installed R-50 insulation in our attic in November 2022. We noticed it seemed a little low in January and by July 2023 it had lowered to 11 inches in some places. Jeff Janson from Koala Insulation came out to assess the condition of our attic and sent a fair estimate to replace the batting that needed replaced and to add insulation on top of the insulation that was not providing enough coverage.
