Attic Perfect

The service team that performed the work was OK, I had to point out a few vents from roof, etc.. that were not sealed. However, I had a question about what's the guarantee less than a year after work completed. Crickets. No answer no response. But you'd think after paying over $4K you'd get something. Not sure if they're still in business, but make sure you get these guarantees before giving them a dollar. Because after that, as far as you're concerned to them. You don't exist. And eventually you'll start hearing those footsteps again and next rodent control you call in will say, Wow that installation looks new, but we're going to have to remove it all to and reinsulate to guarantee our work!!!

Job performed: Basement vapor barrier, floor insulation and rodent control. Great Leadership and know how resulted in a great team who performed great job! Very responsible on what was done. I have no reservation having them to do another job for me as needed.

I rarely leave a negative review, but this business has been the worst in their responsiveness and professionalism. We are under warranty, but they don’t are unresponsive. We finally (after months of email and calls) got them to schedule a visit and no one showed up. I will be reporting them to BBB and do my best to give others a heads up before engaging with this business.

I am thinking they are going out of business, because I can't them to follow up on their warranty.

In an attempt to get this properly resolved, I have been contacting Attic Perfect with multiple follow-up concerns regarding new droppings and noises but I have now been informed that the new insulation was sprayed atop of old /dirty insulation which also included some roofing material from replacement of the roof performed in 2018. I am quite concerned that the workers felt it appropriate to spray on top of existing material, debris and soiled insulation. As a result of my inability to get Attic Perfect to come back out to fully resolve my complaints/concerns, I have contracted another company to come out and reinspect the space. During their inspection we found that the newly paid for insulation from Attic Perfect was in fact sprayed over old insulation in a few areas of the attic space. The insulation is layered on top of old roofing material and soiled insulation underneath that; not to mention the rodent droppings (old and new). Buyer beware and do your homework! There are good reviews with minimal scope in work listed. If you need rodent abatement, warrantied follow up or just new insulation (but can not easily verify completed work yourself ) then I caution you to ask questions and get the details in full before paying your hard earned money.

The young technician went right to work but spoke very little English and I do not speak Spanish so was not clear as to what he saw and did. Would like the information in his report to the office.

Jose came on time...but found that a ladder he brough was not tall enough to reach the squirrel hole. He walked around the house and saw there was wall painting work ongoing in a neighboring house. He went there and borrowed the ladder! Of course, then he fixed the hole!!! I am very impressed.

Pretty tight

This all happened pretty fast - someone came to provide a quote and started work two days later. I felt a bit pressured with regard to timing and price - very take it now or the price goes up. I would ask some questions and instead of directly answering the project manager would just say they are doing a great job in response to a text, didn't feel listened to. I asked for pictures after each step and didn't get any. The two workers were very professional and cleaned up well after - ours was a very messy job. I did have to ask them to put plastic up as disgusting stuff was flying all over the house a they threw bags down from the attic. I haven't look in the attic yet, so hoping it was all done right. Will see as the temperature goes up this week if the house stays cooler and if we don't hear any rodents.

Actually, I can't get these guys to call me back. They came and did a lot of work, but didn't finish the entire job. A second team came back, did some of the work that remained to be completed, but also didn't finish. I was promised a rescheduled appointment, but I've been calling, and emailing, and now it's just the silent treatment. Not going to recommend these guys until they finish the job I paid them for.

Vladi and the crew at Attic perfect were prompt, courteous and efficient. They cleaned, replaced insulation and rodent proofed my attic and crawl space in one day and gave me a senior discount, to boot.

Eilon and the crew were extremely professional, helpful, and curtious. I started from requesting a cleaning inspection but after the detailed report and Eilon answering numerous questions, I ended up replacing all the insulation in the Attic. Eilon at Attic Perfect spent an hour or so at the initial inspection and talking through options vs one of their competitors that only spent 15 total. I highly recommend using Attic Perfect and Eilon.

Hugely disappointed with the service quality and responsiveness of this business. I was sold an attic cleanup and installation of insulation by Jacob. It all seemed good at the estimate phase (lots of promises plus photos that seemed like quality work plus assurances of cleanup/protection of my house from the debris/dust). On the day of the clean up/installation, I reiterated the contract terms: remove all debris, seal all holes, put 10" of insulation everywhere. The 2 workers did work VERY hard. But there were a lot of problems. The first was that the workers were tossing the bags of old insulation/debris down the ladder from the attic entrance. The bags ripped and old fiberglass particles and dust were spewing everywhere. I put a stop to them throwing the bags and made them carry them more carefully, but the bags were poor quality and still ripped/spilled throughout the day. The barriers put up by the workers were inadequate (just a single strip of plastic on the floor), so I ended up with debris everywhere. The second problem came at the end when I examined the final installation. There were many areas not covered by the "minimum 10 inches". Unfortunately, the workers did not speak much English so they could not understand the problem I was pointing out. I spoke with Sandra at the office; she was very polite and professional. But the bottom line was that Jacob had to call me. He said he had told the workers to leave open spaces for me to use for storage. I said that would not work, he needed to have the workers fill in the holes. He got angry and was rude. He said they could either move the existing insulation now or come back and charge me for more insulation. I chose the first option. But nothing happened. The end result is huge gaps of open attic floor. I called the office twice over the next two days to talk with the manager about options to fix the problem, but I still have not received a return call.

Four hours late, attic workers had a hard time communicating with sales rep, our sales rep person who started the invoice, Jacob M., told us that it would start at 7am, the workers told us that was not possible but that’s what the company tells everyone apparently. So don’t expect much, we feel ripped off. Would not recommend.

Attic Perfect performed as promised. We has our attic cleaned of rat droppings, installed batt insulation, changed the ducting. Each phase of the process was done efficiently, cleanly, professionally. Vlad our sales person kept in contact with us the entire way and was always accessible. He was wonderful and really knew his trade. Loved working with him.

I used Attic Perfect almost two years ago to re-insulate our attic and to control a rat infestation within the attic. Now that the weather has turned so cold, somehow some rodents were getting into our home. I called attic perfect, in which case, I found out I have a guarantee of six years for a rodent free home. Jose came out to our home On a job which was free of expense to us, and spent 3 1/2 hours ensuring that our home would remain rodent free. He was so thorough, so professional, and so friendly! He left our home exactly as it was when he came in! Attic perfect… You have a five star employee in Jose Lopez!

Had these folks give us a total do-over on cleaning, sanitizing, and rodent proofing the crawl space (it was neglected), attic, and exterior as well as removing the old inadequate attic insulation and replacing it with up to code insulation when we bought a resale last October. It all came with a long-term warranty at a reasonable price. We were very pleased. Then we had the a/c replaced recently and the installer noticed what appeared to be recent rodent activity. I called Attic Perfect. They scheduled a tech no questions asked, he showed up and confirmed there were some issue to deal with, he resolved the issues, cleaned and sanitized the area, and was 100% professional in his manner and work. If you need rodent proofing or Attic clean-up I would not hesitate to call these folks...great people doing a great job.

Very professional, fast, courteous. It was a tough job (including a lot of prior detritus in the attic that needed removing) and they delivered in a timely fashion. My entire attic was redone in a single day. Much better than doing it myself.

I give Attic perfect 5 stars for getting rid of Elon. He was horrible. He is a liar , very rude and I felt he was a con man. I spent close to 9000.00 on the work that I had done and I was never happy with the work. I dont wish for anyone to lose their job but, Elon had to go. Thank you Attic perfect for getting rid of that cancer that worked for your company. He made me think that the owner was ok with that behavior. And let me say Tim is such an asset to your company!! Fast job, good work, great guys

Beware if you do business with this company. They said my insulation needed replacing but didn't supply photos. I felt pressured into signing and did so -- now my insulation is worse than what I had. I believe many of their reviews are bogus.

Attic perfect did a good job and left little trace of the vast amount of old material they removed from the attic. They did exactly what was proposed, quickly and efficiently. It was a pleasure working with Taylor, Devin, and crew. I would hire them again.

Thank you so much for the great work! My sister and I totally can feel the difference in how the house stays nice and wam compared to what it has in the past. We also had Rodent Proofing and I feel so much better now know those pests can’t get in! I liked the fact that there is a five year warranty on the rodent proofing. This was a big plus for me... Taylor was who came out for our quote and was very easy and pleasant to deal with. Great personality! He answered all of our questions and always returned our calls with any questions we had for him. The day of the rodent proofing and insulation Oscar and his two guys were ready to work... I think they guys worked over 10 hours that day. They were very good on showing us pictures as they progressed on the job throughout the day. All in all our experience with Attic Perfect was excellent and I would definitely recommend using them to any on my family, friends and co-workers. Josh from Attic Perfect came out for an estimate visit and was thorough, candid, and clear in his communication about what was needed in our two attic spaces (main and garage). The primary concern was rodent proofing and rodent waste clean-up in the garage attic, but Josh inspected both spaces carefully and put together the estimate including the addition of new blown-in insulation in the main attic (as our levels were well below code). I was pleased with the work they did in both spaces, and they provide a 5-year rodent free warranty, which is nice piece of mind. Really, 4.5 of 5 stars, with .5 deducted because the team arrived to start the work almost 2 hours later than originally scheduled; I couldn't be home to oversee the start of their work.

hard working crew creatively solved challenges as they occurred

I called Attic Perfect to clean my attic bcuz I knew we had rafter rats. I was happy to get rid of them with some poison but hey freak me out so much I wasnt going up there. Taylor was very helpful & thorough explaining all my options. After seeing the damage & mess in my attic. I decided to have not only the cleaning but also new insulation. It had been 30 years after all. Guillermo & his crew were fantastic. They treated our home respect & we were very pleased with the results. Everything is photographed so you can see your before & after.

Waste of time and money, they were very quick to come and give the sale pitch and estimate. They didn't delivered on promises made on the contract. Sprayed new insulation over the old one without fully cleaning and disinfecting the attic and fully covering the holes as stated in the contract. In the process they damage some wiring in the attic, insulation was blowing through my bathrooms vents. I also had vapor barrier installed in my crawl space. They just simply laid the plastic without properly securing it with tape neatly around the edges. They left a large area uncovered, didn't clean the crawl space. When I attempted to speak with manager Alon he was always busy or doing something else. When I finally spoke with him he was rude and unprofessional, blaming me instead of finding a way to correct the issue. Had to wait over 3 weeks to get an appointment for another tech to come and assess the issues. Tech came twice now and they still didn't take care of the problems. Worst customer service ever.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This has been the worst experience with a contractor. A week after having my home insulated we noticed the insulation started blowing in through one of my vents. I notified Attic Perfect and after scheduling snafus, no follow-up and me chasing they came out about 3 weeks later. Their guy came out to inspect my attic and told us a boot on the duct work was cracked, duct work had been ripped in multiple places and needed to be replaced , they cracked my sun tunnel AND when we opened one closets and all the insulation from the attic had fallen to the floor. They left garbage in the attic and the insulation is not even throughout the attic. Now I have spent days, trying to get them to come and repair the damage. They didn't show on the original fix date and then gave me options that did not work for my family, repeatedly. My family has been breathing in god knows what for weeks and this company can care less. Next week it will be over 100 degrees and I will not be able to use my air conditioning for fear of what is blowing into my house. Oh and the icing on the cake, my PG&E bill went up. What a waste of thousands of dollars. I wish I could share the pictures on this review. The work was so shoddy. Management knows know they are providing shoddy services. REDICULOUS that you have to chase people to provide honest work.

We had a great amount of debris in our ATTIC PERFECT, mainly from roofing shingle, and wood. Additionally the blown in insulation was at least 50 years old and extremely dirty. ATTIC PERFECT did a phenomenal job clearing all the debris and insulation. The men were great and despite the heat that day, they worked throughout and completed the job on time. The project manager, was very thorough in checking all work. They found areas at the roof that needed sealing that we had no knowledge of and they took care of this. We now have high quality "green" insulation and we are very pleased.

Do not use this company. Untrained workers, did not have proper tools, didn’t supply. workers with ladders. I have never had to write a negative review like this in my life.

(ASK FOR JOSH!) My attic had been infested with mice and eventually a bat even found its way in. All the insulation needed to be removed, sanitation done, access sites sealed, repairs made, new insulation put down and everything cleaned up. I had 3 different companies to compare prices with and they were all in the same ballpark but Attic Perfect was the least expensive, easiest to deal with, open schedule, and not only friendly but in and out in one day satisfaction guarantee with warranty, licensed, bonded, and insured. The crew was very professional and courteous. I wouldn't have a any qualms leaving them alone if I needed to run an errand and they worked straight through. The person that came to do the free inspection was named Josh. (ASK FOR HIM!) He clearly walked me through the process and all my choices and the costs. (There were a few snafus with the manager Eilon the day of the job I was not happy with at all. I'm glad Josh was the one I dealt with and the workers or else I would have gone with another company.)

I am really impressed with these guys. Josh came to my house and spent 3 solid hours in the attic and crawl space looking at everything and showed me the problem areas. The price is competitive when compared to several other companies. We have a very complicated attic and crawl space which suffered from rats invasion before. They sent 7 people who spent 10 hours doing the job - removing existing insulation, rodent proofing, and putting in new insulation with Pink Panther, the best material to use. Everything is covered up before and cleaned afterward. No mess whatsoever. I am totally impressed how professional they are. From the pictures taken after, they have done a job that is just perfect. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company.

I began a multi-step process to replace insulation and ductwork in my home's arric and crawlspace due to a rodent invasion. First step was to remove blown-in insulation in the attic and rodent proof the attic. The price was fair and the workers did an outstanding job. The arrived on time, were very sensitive to the extensive wiring in the attic and completely cleaned up the area after they were finished. I plan to continue with the project after finishing other home remodeling work.

Reliable, prompt, thorough, courteous, cleaned up all of the debris, worked overtime, Alon the project manager, came to oversee the final job. I value their professional know how and trusted them with my house key in my absence to finish up. The entire crew did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this company. The attic in my 1950's house we just bought needed to be cleaned from all the old loose insulation that was surely 70 years old. The attic was otherwise pretty clean and accessible though. They did a great job cleaning up all the old insulation as removing other old boards and wires that were disconnected up there. They charged me $2000 and were out there the day after they came for the original bid. It seemed a bit high considering it was a very accessible attic, but to have it done ASAP as we wanted to install upgraded insulation later that week was totally worth it. It took them just under 5 hours with 3 guys. Guillermo was the best followed by his crew of Mauricio and Melvin. No complaints on this end.

Ullie did outstanding job on my attic inspection, he explained every little details what need to be done for our roden problems. Next day 4 guys came and it was just a work work work fast and professional. Removed all my old insulation and than roden proof every little holes they could find. They then sanitized & reinstall new inslation R-30. The price they gave me $1260 discount, thats awesome deal compare other attic company asking for $4000-$5000 for the job. Over all i am very satisfied with attic perfect One more thing attic perfect is offering 3 years of roden proof which every other company only do 1 year.

A few weeks ago, a technician named Danny came to my house to do a $65 clean up in my attic. He refused right away to do the clean up, even though it was very small attic, he said that the cleaning is not an option and that I need to do an "attic makeover" as he mentioned. Later on I simply did it myself and was very unhappy to find out that he tried to do a bait and switch.
