Attic Heroes

Work completed 4/2025 and decided to wait on placing this review until after experiencing the summer heat with the new attic insulation. Totally worth it! It brought our house down to a 3-4 degree difference upstairs and kept our downstairs area very cool for longer periods of time than when we were without the insulation. We opted to go for insulation on the attic ceiling as well as the attic floor to really keep the heat at bay and it was a choice we are very happy with. We still need to run our AC on extremely hot days, but the insulation allows us to hold off on turning on that AC for at least 2-4 hours than we normally would, which means it lowers our electricity bill! The staff we worked with were all very professional, kind and prompt with any questions we had along the way. We had asked for several different types of quotes and they had no problems providing us with quotes for all our requests as well as provide information during the process to help us make the best choice for our needs. The price for this work was great for the quality and effectiveness and we are happy to have found Attic Heroes to work with

Attic Heroes put insulation in my attic, and I had them come back about a year later to encapsulate my crawl space. They were communicative, they offered a very reasonable price relative to some other quotes I got, and they did solid work. I recommend them for both attic and crawlspace work! I'll also say that compared to some other companies I got quotes from, they were far less pushy and salesy. I had a different company make it seem like my whole house was about to come apart at the seams if I didn't sign up for all their (very overpriced) services, but Attic Heroes did none of that. Their pricing and recommendations seemed very practical and fair.

Attic Heroes was great to work with. The employees took care every step of the way and show great pride in their work. From the first meeting with the knowledgeable sales person to the respectful and meticulous cleaners/installers, I couldn't be more happy. The price was reasonable and the work was executed quickly!

Attic Heroes installed insulation, a vent smart fan, and replaced air ducts, all at a great price. The technicians were fast and clean up was excellent. Fidel even replaced my attic lid which was previously damaged. In all, the service was great!

After my mother’s passing, her house was quickly overrun by mice and rats. Several companies in the past were hired and failed to completely seal off her home. Fidel and his team gave us a reasonable estimate, showed us all of the areas that needed sealing. They cleaned out the entire attic and took photos of everything they cleaned and sealed. They also examined the roof of the entire house including the garage, which was not even listed in the estimate. They did a 2 week post clean-out check and we are rat free!

Attic Heroes installed radiant barriers in my attic and in a crawl space. They did an excellent job in both. The workers were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They arrived on time and finished on time. Their price was very competitive. I am very satisfied.

Fidel and his crew did a great job with attic cleanup and rodent exclusion at our Mt. Laguna cabin. I figured this would be an impossible job -- an older cabin, in a forest, populated with tiny woodland creatures. They emptied, scrubbed, disinfected, patched, screened, and foamed our attic and basement. It worked! Great job.

Was putting off getting our attic clean for some time. Fidel was great in explaining everything that needed to be done. And followed up when we weren't sure when we would schedule. Once work eas started they delivered. Clean and professional and courteous.

Last year Attic Heroes replaced our insulation. Matthew was amazing with his professionalism and industry expertise when he came out to give us a quote. We ended up having all the old insulation taken out and all new insulation sprayed in. The crew that did the job was efficient, accommodating, communicative, and clean. In addition to the insulation, they removed some asbestos from the attic and rodent-proofed. Their prices were fair after getting several quotes. I would highly recommend this company! Had an issue with the vents in my two bathrooms making irritable noise. Fidel found what the issue was quickly and was able to fix the issue quickly. I took a look at the finished attic insulation and all was very well done and complete along with photos. No mess inside the house, like they were never here. Our tenants had a terrible rodent issue in the attic despite our having a monthly pest control for rodents. Attic Heroes was recommended by our HVAC company and they came and did an estimate within a few days- just before Christmas and scheduled the cleanout a week later. Amazing work! sealed potential entries for the critters, sanitized, and put in new insulation. Highly recommend! I'd give these guys a 10 if that were possible. We just moved into a new home and found the previous owners had rodent issues. Mathew came out and gave us a very fair quote after inspecting the outside of the house and the attic. The day of the project, they did a very thorough job cleaning/sanitizing, rodent proofing and finally installing new insulation. They cleaned up and left the house as if they were never there. The whole team was friendly, very professional and took pride in their work. Companies always talk about caring about the customer, that's not just lip service with Attic Heroes. The Attic Heros Team is just phenomenal! Why you might ask?? Fidel was phenomenal at communicating. Matthew was phenomenal at being responsive. Tony was phenomenal at saying “yes we can do”. I did my research before deciding to work with "the Attic Heros." They were excellent at their job-- very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. They also were willing to work with me regarding the disinfectant they used, as I prefer to use less harsh chemicals. Their work is not easy and they do it very well.

Attic Heroes changed all of our 25 year old attic ducting on February 27th. We had outdoor R4 ducting which they changed to R8. Our house is a 4500 sq foot two story house with a fairly tight attic space but they did a wonderful job, at a very reasonable price. What impressed us most was the professionalism of the entire crew. Fidel is the man in charge of scheduling and logistics, and also does duct work. The estimator came out to do a bid, but Fidel also came out the day before the project to check things out, and took his time looking at the ducting to plan the job and make sure they had all the necessary materials. The next day the ducting crew (Abraham, Oscar and Tony) came out and worked until dark to change out all the ducting. They put paper down on all our wood floors and stairs to protect them. They used foot covers indoors, they took away all the old ducting and any other trash from the project. Truly a white glove experience for us. Fidel came back a few days after the main job was done to check things out and add a Y junction to improve air flow in one area—This was without us asking mind you. They really take pride in their work. The job was done professionally, efficiently, and the results looked good to my husband who went into the attic after they were done. We are very happy with this company, and if we ever decide to have any other attic work done such as more insulation, we will use them again. Great work at a good price. Highly recommended!

These guys are who you want to call for any of your attic needs. A couple of years ago they rodent proofed my attic, installed new installation and installed new ducting. They were very professional and efficient and much more affordable than their competition. After they did their work I had a new roof installed by a roofer. During the roofing process a rat got in my attic. I was able to trap the rat, but I was nervous I had another infestation. Fidel came out (2 years after he did his job) and thoroughly inspected my property. He assured me my attic was still rodent proofed and sealed up any places that could potentially be a problem. These guys do a great job and stand behind their work 100%.

These guys are wonderful! Fidel, Matthew, Oscar and their entire crew did an amazing job cleaning out my attic. Not an easy task considering it’s only a 3 feet high space. My house is nearly 100 years old and I was amazed by the amount of decomposed old insulation they removed. Literally hundreds and hundreds of pounds of fine gray powder. Now that I have all that gone from my attic and with the new fiberglass insulation they blew in, my house is no longer dusty and doesn’t have that old house musty odor anymore plus it is much cooler inside and even my allergies are much better. We had a rodent issue in the attic of a rental home we recently moved in to. We called Attic Heroes due to all of the great reviews. Fidel returned our call promptly and Matthew came out for an estimate. Matthew was amazing. He was incredibly thorough and informative. They provided a very competitive quote. The only negative thing I can say is that they are clearly too good, as they couldn't do the work for 2 weeks after the estimate and we couldn't stomach waiting that long. However, if you have any attic 'visitors' I would definitely recommend calling these guy.

Fidel, Tony, the whole entire crew was a pleasure to work with! Very polite, professional, efficient, and clean; seriously zero complaints. They did a great job cleaning up our attic, disposing of the old insulation (only 2 inches thick from the 1950s), and removing all the droppings and debris. We also had rodent proofing and sanitation done. And finally, had new insulation installed, of course, both batt insulation (in hard to reach places since we have a low attic) and blow in (in the impossible to reach places). Very pleased, would totally work with the Attic Heroes again, and recommend them any time!

Fidel, the foreman Tony, and his crew did an amazing job! They arrived on time as scheduled. The prep work to protect the floor and hallway was impeccable, and they put up walls of plastic sheetings to contain any dust to the work areas. I had 2050 ft2 of R38 Certainteed batts installed, plus Certainteed blown-in fiberglass insulation to cover the edges that the batting couldn't reach. One of their main competitor's bid was 50% higher for the exact same job. The workers had a great attitude, wore protective jumpsuits and respirators, communcation by Fidel and his crew was excellent, and the job went smoothly with no aggravation whatsoever and no corners cut. The cleanup was spotless. I am a physician with high standards, and I give Attic Heroes my highest recommendation!

I hired Attic Heroes to clean-up and insulate my attic that had pretty much original insulation (or lack-there-of) from 1968. From Start to finish, Matthew and Fidel did a fantastic job! Matthew came by quickly to quote the project and came back twice at my request to confirm dimensions and quote interior wall insulation (that I did not do in this phase, but might later). They were no nonsense and very professional. I did not get a hard sales pitch that took hours (like their competitor that quoted me over 5x the price for the same job and took up an hour of my time - no joke). Fidel lead his crew from start to finish (a very long day - again, attic was filthy!). I had them put in owens-corning rolled insulation since I need to redo my ducts and HVAC eventually and thought that would be easier to navigate than blown. I cannot say enough about the professional job they did from minimizing dirt/dust debris (my house looked like a crime scene how well they wrapped everything in plastic!) - to fixing nominal hiccups that no doubt occur with any project. I have been slowly renovating my home for 3 years and have dealt with my fair share of contractors. I love to support companies that stand by their work and customers. I will be referring them to neighbors. Fantastic job guys!

From receiving the quote (no pressure tactics!!) to final payment, the whole experience was really pleasant. Can’t go wrong hiring these folks!

From the initial survey to the actual execution, attic Heroes were flawless! I received the estimate via email that gave me three options that were priced very competitively. After picking the option, I was scheduled the following week to have my attic insulation blown in. The crew arrived on time and commenced to apply a protective barrier to prevent damage to my home. The crew put on full protective clothing and breathing apparatus and began. After completion I was shown photographs of the completed work A plus!

They truly are heroes! We had rats in our attic and they were half the price of a competitor. Their quality of work was still top-notch. Everyone who helped us from the initial salesman through the team onsite was professional and great to work with. They took our calls after hours, gave great advice, returned to swap out traps whenever asked, just all-around solid. I would highly recommend!

I'm conflicted about this business. Their price was very reasonable compared to a quote I received from another business and I think they did a good job installing the ceiling insulation. I called the evening before and asked if there was anything I could do to prepare. I'm not familiar with this type of project, no idea what's involved. They said no, didn't give me any information, just said they handle everything. They also didn't mention that they would be painting the ceiling as well, which means the project would last 3 days instead of 2. After they were done setting up, we realized we wouldnt be able to use the kitchen and living room for the entire 3 days because everything was covered in plastic. That's a major inconvenience I wish I had prepared better for. So my main issue is they didnt explain this to me at all. The 2nd major issue is they left a huge trash bag filled with plastic coverings and paint supplies, plus their ladder and said it would be picked up the next day. Still hasn't been picked up a week later. They need to communicate better with their customers. Update: the owner picked up the trash and ladder and was apologetic. I think there's room for improvement but I would still recommend the company for insulation projects.

We had Attic Heroes put new insulation in our attic, they removed the old insulation, put up mesh on any open areas where rodents could enter and then put new insulation in. The work was completed in 1 day. They were very professional and affordable. I highly recommend Matthew and hos crew.

I needed my attic insulated. I’ve lived here since 1992 and never had it done! They removed all the old stuff, cleaned and sanitized it, made sure screens were in place to keep critters from coming in. Then they hauled up the insulation bundles one by one. They started at 10:30 and finished at 5:30. They made sure my floors were covered to safeguard them and when they were finished everything thing was cleaned immaculately. They were very respectful and sensitive to my limitations (I need a walker to be mobile). They made sure the large tubes they used were off to the side so I had access down the hall to the bathroom. I didn’t realize how labor intense this type of work was but they all worked hard for the 7 hrs that they were here. A word to the wise, in general, get earplugs. It’s not a quiet endeavor☺️.

Victor and Abraham just left my place in Allied Gardens and did a great job -- we hired them for rodent proofing/sanitation, and also the insulation installation in the attic + remove & replacement of the air ducts. Very friendly, professional, respectful, and solid workers!

We knew we needed new AC/heat ducting and had an HVAC guy come to replace them. After removal of the old ducting we called a timeout. The 32-year-old R30 insulation was absolutely filthy and it wouldn't make any sense to put new ducting on top of the nasty original R30. My wife has asthma and has had a tough time breathing in our house especially since the fires of 03 and 07. After research we found Attic Heroes and their perfect reviews; gave them a call and Matthew came out to Ramona in the rain within 2 hours. He was very professional and understanding of our situation. He gave us a great quote. Oscar, Tony and later Fidel came out, first to do the cleanup. They used two large industrial vacuums with 4-in hoses and protected all the cabinets, door jambs and attic opening prior to lugging the large hoses up there. I'm pretty fussy so I asked to look at the progress after they vacuumed the entire attic. The cleanup job was impeccable and I seriously doubt it was that clean when the house was built and the original insulation installed. I didn't realize they also had sealed all the wall top plates, lighting fixtures, wiring thru holes, etc in order to insect, rodent and draft proof what they had cleaned prior to the new insulation install. They did an excellent job, very competent, hard workers and we highly recommend them. I doubt you will find any company to do as good a job as they did. Their price was reasonable and we highly recommend Attic Heroes. By the way my wife is breathing much better and slept like a baby through the night last night, the first time in many years. We are blessed to have found them. Thanks guys!

These guys are legit. They came thru and went above and beyond anything I expected. They were super patient with me too. I switched the date on them 3 times and they were more than happy to get everything done when I needed it done. As far as why I would recommend them besides them going above and beyond. They are super clean, they communicate everything they are doing very well, they work super hard to get it all done and they make sure it gets done right. Also their pricing is super fair they have 4 guys working on out house to get everything done and they did. I was able to check the work throughout the whole process and every step they let us inspect looked great. I definitely want to take out the time and recommend these guys to anyone looking.

Our house was made in the 1950...and the attic space was probably only 12 inches at its peak attic heroes was able to add blow in insulation as well as roll insulation in crawl space which they had to go around an existing hvac system and they did a phenomenal job I would highly recommend their services to anyone I know.

I live on a canyon and like most of my neighbors have seen a huge increase in the rodent population this year. In addition to needing old insulation removed and replaced with new insulation, I decided to proactively have my attic sanitized and sealed to prevent anything from coming in. I received four bids on this job, and from a monetary perspective most were comparable. Where Attic Heroes rose above the competition was the over-the-top customer service and support. From the individual who scoped the job, to the insulation removal and sanitizing/sealing crew, to the owner (Fidel) coming out for the second phase of the job along with another employee ... I can't speak highly enough about the care that was taken to do this job professionally and perfectly! My attic has not looked this good in years, and I was equally impressed with how they prepped the job to carefully protect the area surrounding the attic. I highly recommend Attic Heroes for any attic related job. Fantastic!

As a 30 year San Diego Real Estate Broker and Investor owning units and flipped perhaps 70 properties, I do know good guys from bad...I know how to vett companies as well by asking the right questions. I have just finished a job on a duplex i own that had been invaded by rodents..and a under the house basement with REAL bad odor...I did some interviewing and received bids to SANITIZE and Rodent proof I can 100% tell you, I chose the right guys.... Matthew came out and we walked it and he went under the house (by himself i might add..i wasn't going NO Way!).....he explained to in detail what needed to be done and what their Scope of work would be..and he left me the bid...The bid was REALLY reasonable for what he would do so i hired them...He did a job for me on a Sunday which was nice and his guys were really polite and knew their stuff... One guy put a "space suit on with a pro respirator and the other guy "Tony T" did the Rat proofing. Tony was amazing as he seemed like a "Rodent Expert"...he found access points all over the place that other "pest control" companies missed and I mean ALLOT other companies missed....Then Tony goes under the house and finds places where Rodents will actually dig under ground to get access...he explained to me how tenacious these Rodents are....He did an amazing job, lots of tedious work and he seemed "In the Zone" very happy doing it...I have more jobs for these guys...I can't say enough about the Value they gave me...You won't regret hiring Attic Heroes. I'm so impressed when I find an honest group of guys working. I was happy to give the review....they didn't ask me, I offered it..

This company is AMAZING! 1st off their price was WAY cheaper than the other 3 companies I got quotes from. Their work was incredible. They put in about 9 hours of cleaning, clearing, sanitizing and sealing my attic and attic over my garage. It is an old house I just bought and had a ton of debris and they cleaned it so well it looks like new. Mathew and Tony did incredible work and I highly recommend.

We had a very nasty and dirty attic, no one cleaned that for over 40 years, all the air ducks were smashed and needed to be replaced. Also, our house has a flat roof so working on our attic was challenging because of lack of space, but Attic Heroes did an awesome job. The whole crew was very polite and professional, they were constantly checking with us and showing the progress of their work. Attic Heroes showed up with the best pricing and the best guidance for DIY improvements. The gentleman that I initially met, Matthew, was professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Stop! You don't need other quotes! I wish I could give them 10 stars! I'd originally booked with another provider, but Attic Heroes gave me a deal I couldn't possibly pass up. I had two other quotes for the same scope, and Attic Heros was *by far* the most competitive. So competitive, in fact, I though they might be too good to be true...maybe they'd skimp on quality or materials? Absolutely not! They fit me in a week earlier than their competition. They showed up with a big crew and added folks when it looked to be more work than they'd expected. They did outstanding work cleaning the attic, air sealing, and rodent proofing. I've spent quite a bit of time in our attic lately, and I was stunned at how clean it was and how thorough the air sealing and rodent proofing was. Then they blew in more Owens Corning fiberglass than I'd expected based on their competition. They stayed for a 10 hour day and left my house cleaner than when they showed up. Tony Tran, Juan, and his crew did an absolutely amazing job.

We had several quotes to clean and re insulate our attic and we chose Attic Heroes because Mathew was responsive, professional and the price was reasonable. We went with Attic Heroes for the cleaning and reinsulation of our attic after obtaining several quotes because we felt most comfortable with Mathew's knowledge, approach (no heavy sales) and good price estimate. The work was scheduled within 2 days and the crew worked fast and completed the job earlier than expected. However, there were a few issues noticed immediately after and a few days later. We contacted Mathew and both times he responded quickly and came out immediately to resolve the issues. Once resolved, the job looked great. My husband and I give Attic Heroes the highest marks for their prompt and effective handling of the issues--that's how we know it's a stand up company and would highly recommend them.

Fidel, Tony, and Kyle were great. All seemed like good, honest folks and treated our home with respect. Fidel came out same day to give us a quote on adding insulation to our attic and didn't try to upsell or tell us we needed to do more. We asked him about installing a radiant barrier that another company had recommended and he said it's not worth the price. He also pointed out due to the low height of our attic that you wouldn't really be able to do it effectively either. Fidel's quote out the gate was also very reasonable and less than 1/3 of the competitors' because he didn't try to give us any services we didn't need. He was very easy to work with throughout the process, and his team was quick, efficient, and effective. Our home is significantly cooler with the additional insulation.

Yesterday, Attic Heroes came to do the insulation at my house of 840 sq ft. The whole work went very smoothly, arrived on time, finished on time. They properly protected the house and cleaned everything up afterwards and were very diligent during the whole day. The quote was excellent compared to all other companies. They cleaned the attic, installed rodent proofing and blew in insulation. All and all, I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend them. 5 stars well deserved. Fidel and his crew did an amazing job. They were great to work with, from the beginning through the end of the project. They responded quickly to provide a price quote, and went up into the attic with me to explain all the steps they would take. They were fast with a price quote and were quick to schedule the actual work. Their pricing and quality were both excellent, which is really rare. I have no complaints at all about them. They did a great job!

Excellent work for less than the average cost. Blown-in attic insulation included rat-proofing the attic space from gable and roof vents to a couple of places rats had chewed holes, and sealing the perimeter of pipes and vents and solar tubes going through the ceiling into the attic. Work done also included installing a radiant barrier over a very tight attic space with a low roof gable we have above a back room and blowing in insulation over the entire attic space. The only access was a hole just big enough for Fidel to crawl through in the common wall with the larger attic space. Tough job very well done. Fidel and his assistant were excellent and put down protective plastic and a walk-way before they got started. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Today is the first warm day since the work was done and it has made a huge difference in how comfortable the house is and especially that back room. Thank you Fidel and Attic Heroes!!

Amazing! Young guys with appreciation for their customers and pride in their work and great to deal with. Another company had given me a bid and then sad "we'll let you know when we can come". I looked around and found this company, we made contact and the deal was done. We talked on Friday and job was done mid day Saturday. We recently decided to have our attic cleaned and insulated and the ducting redone, as we'd been experience energy loss due to leaky ducts and an under-insulated attic. After receiving quotes from all of the top-rated attic companies on Yelp, we decided to go with Attic Heroes for a few key reasons: 1) The co-owner/manager, Fidel, was very professional and not pushy at all during the inspection and quoting process. Many other attic companies sent out salesmen or managers to give the quotes, but Fidel actually does the work he's explaining to you. 2) Value. Every quote that we received was for Owings Corning blown insulation, however Attic Heroes' quote was for R38 (more insulation), and the ducting they install (Thermaflex KM R8) carries a 10-year manufacturers warranty). This matched or exceeded the quality of all other quotes we received, and yet Attic Heroes was over $1000 less than all other companies. 3) They are licensed, bonded, and insured. All other companies we received quotes from were as well, but going for the best price does not mean you have to skimp on a contractor's licensing. The work was completed in one day, and all three Attic Heroes associates who worked on the project were courteous, friendly, and professional. They did a high quality job on our attic cleanup, ducting, and insulation, and I would happily recommend them for any attic job.

Fidel was thorough in explaining the scope of work, providing updates throughout the project, and let me up in the attic to see the work. We are very happy with the work that Fidel and his team did - all the insulation removed, ducts replaced, and new insulation blown in later. While removing and cleaning up the area, they found both a squirrel and a rat still in the attic. He paused the work for a few days so that we could get rid of the creatures. They protected the walls and floor by the attic access, very polite, and did an amazing job, and their price was better than their competition. Would highly recommend Attic Heroes.

I called Fidel for an estimate on Friday and he was able to get his crew over to my house to complete the job that following Monday.
