Wow what a job provided by AIS. Starting with Matt with initial insepction and bid. Everything was explained in detail with photos. Phase 1 team headed by Tiger was professionally completed with the attic sealed to prevent Rodent reentry. Phase 2 headed by Victor once again showed they were trained correctly and knew there job's. Installation on new Batting was done in a timely .manner and clean up made it looks as if no major attic work was done OUTSTANDING

Corey and his crew did a great job for me installing insulation in my attic. They did everything right. Showed up in time, kept me updated on progress and cleaned up each day.

Had our crawl space done by Victor, Louie, Mina, and Carlos. They did a great job, showed up early and made sure to walk me through the work they were doing and walked me through after everything was finished.

These guys were great for attic insulation and attic fan! Corey and the crew were very communicative through the day and the entire process. I understood that it would take the entire day but Corey and the guys finished by 2:30 and even hung the string lights I had in the attic without me even asking. All nice guys and I'm very happy with the job. I would definitely hire Advanced Insulation Systems again. The owner Matt provided me with the initial estimate and I had confidence from the beginning that I could work with them. I'm very satisfied.

They took special care to keep my house clean by laying paper runners and hanging plastic sheeting. I can't comment on the quality of the work as Advanced Insulation System did not perform any, HOWEVER, I would like to provide a positive review for my experience interacting with the company and John the owner. Our pest control company had recommended we get work done in our attic for "rodent and pest" previous activity, using very hard-sell, fear-mongering tactics and misleading pictures. We did our due diligence and asked for second opinions / quotes; John came, took a look at our attic, and even though it meant a loss of a business opportunity for him from us, gave us his honest evaluation (i.e. we did not need work done). This instills confidence in me on the integrity of this company, and I will absolutely keep AIS in mind if / when we do need work done in the future.

An insulation company that cares about their customers! Matt and JP (the owners) were great to work with- they provided a few options for our budget and were very straight forward with their bid. They walked us through their process and took time to explain why other companies quoted us different products. Their scheduling was fast and they completed the job on schedule.

I would caution others before hiring this company. The quality of the vapor barrier installation in the crawlspace at my home in central San Diego Jun 2025 was very poor. The crew worked unsupervised and failed to install the barrier correctly—leaving gaps, exposed ground areas, and placing the new material over debris and old construction waste instead of clearing it out first. Two highly reputable, independent inspectors later confirmed that the vapor barrier was not properly sealed along the crawlspace perimeter, leaving the area vulnerable to excess moisture and potential mold growth. The lack of proper installation and oversight completely undermined the purpose of the project. After requesting twice during the final phone call with the company owners not to be contacted any further, they violated my request and sent harassing text messages.

The crew did a wonderful job. Humberto came out the next day to help fix something and he was very nice prompt and quick. Thank you so much for all your help.

I had a wonderful experience with Advanced Insulation System. John, Jesus, Drake, Victor, and Noe were great. They were all professional, efficient, and easy to work with. The team called to let me know when they would arrive. They were on time and made sure everything was covered up and protected before starting the job. I had received a couple of other quotes from insulation companies, but all they wanted to do was Blown-in insulation on top of the old insulation that was already there. I did not want Blown-in insulation. I wanted the old insulation completely removed as it was incredibly old and I wanted everything checked for openings, cracks, etc., and totally cleaned out. I wanted insulation batts installed in instead. They cleaned everything up and left the space spotless when the work was completed. They exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them if you want the job done right. They were dependable and skilled at what they do. They took all my concerns into consideration and made recommendations as to how to proceed. It is clear they take pride in their work.

They did such a fantastic job! The attic was filled with blown in insulation as well as a ton of debris from a roofing job. Victor and Jesus were quick to do 1700 sq ft of roofing in two days of work!

Amazing work!! This team worked so hard on a hot, summer day! It was a difficult job with lots of small attic spaces. They were able to quickly find where the rats were getting in. Advance Insulation System genuinely cared about our project and went above and beyond. We worked with Attic Projects in the past and had a horrible experience so we had PTSD of companies over promising and under delivering. But luckily, Advance Insulation System cares and does the job right. We had a great experience working with the owner Matt, Manager Eddie & his team: Jesus, Brandon, Angel, Juanito, Albert, Victor, Humberto, Noe and Patrick! They cleaned out our attic from rat activity, closed out all other entry points to stop future rat activity, and had to cut out and re-hang some drywall that was damaged as well. They took great care of our home & were highly communicative during the entire project. Oh and their pricing was much better than most other companies we got quotes from too! 10/10 recommend!

During our recent service by Attic Projects, a piece of wood flooring was slightly damaged. It was noted on our invoice and within 24 hours, a technician (Andres) was sent to repair the wood. We were worried that he would be unable to match the color since the flooring color had been discontinued. But Andres contacted several local companies and was able to match the color perfectly. An excellent follow-up done by an qualified craftsman who was also pleasant to work with.

We had Advance Attic Systems at our home and we couldn’t be more pleased. Eddie was our project manager! He supervised the job and made sure everything was done in a timely and thorough manner. The team was clean, pleasant, polite and knew their job. They work like a well oiled machine. They came out to my home and removed all my insulation, sanitized the attic, sealed it for rodents, and set traps. Then they came back a few days later and made sure there were no rodent droppings and the traps were clean. Once we confirmed the rodent problem was gone they laid new insulation. I can’t say enough about what a great experience we had with Advance Attic Systems. When I called they heard the urgency in my voice and came out immediately. I had Eddie come back in May and look at my air conditioning duct work. He diagnosed and fixed a blockage to my master bedroom. Went from no cold air flow to lots of air flow. Quick and done with no mess and no extra work. I really appreciate he and Matt solving this long standing problem so quickly. Martin, David and Geo were awesome. Very thorough and clean. They worked extremely hard and did a great job. Matt was great to work with and all pricing was upfront and transparent.

We had been hearing a lot of rodent activity in the attic and walls of our old home for a while and finally called to get several estimates. Other companies were overpriced and pushy which was a turnoff. I filled out an online request and received a call from John very soon after. During the initial consultation it was clear that John knew the industry well and sales tactics that other companies used. He was able to put my mind at ease and the sense that his guys would get the job done right. He explained clearly that they wouldn’t reinstall the insulation until the proofing was effective. The house is old and had a lot of additions made at different times so I knew this job would be a challenge. The quote was appropriate for the job so I signed on the dotted line. The clean up team that was lead by Brian, was on time and professional. They set up plastic barriers to ensure the the areas in the path of the insulation removal would not be contaminated. They sealed obvious entry points and I was shown photos of before and after. We did have a few rounds of proofing led by Eddie and Alberto. There were gaps under the roof and at the corners of the house. Entry points that were so small you wouldn’t think could be. As promised, the re-install waited until the proofing was effective. The re-install, which was done by Jesus, Brian, and Noe, was done with the plastic barriers and they were able to complete the job ahead of schedule without impacting the quality. They also helped me secure some boards that were loose. I was shown pictures of the completed job. Overall, I am very happy with the security and safety that I can provide for my family and I owe it all to Advanced Insulation Systems. John, Brian, Jesus, Eddie, Alberto and all their crews were professional, persistent, and thorough. I highly recommend Advance Insulation System to anyone in need of such work.

Update - May 8: Additional work was performed by Brian and team today. We had the attic insulated and they even went around and re-filled the insulation that got disturbed when we had electrical done. They did an outstanding job, throughout the process! We have found an insulation company that we will use for life. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Older post: Just had the best experience and service from Advanced Insulation Systems today! The owner (Matt) was really considerate and gave us many options, helpfully steering what we ended up going with. Victor (the Foreman) and team (Brian, David, Matt, and Brody) arrived on-time in the morning and made quick work of our attic clean-out and exterior walls insulation. Everyone was super polite and personable. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone thinking about updating their home insulation! We look forward to having them come back for additional work in our garage.

My daughter's room had a damp space from the crawlspace. Called AIS and had a crawlspace inspection, vapor barrier, and vent fans done. Juan, Humberto, Alberto, Eddie, Juanito, David were all super helpful and the owner Matt was very responsive.

Had a problem with mice and rats in my attic for years. Contacted Advanced Insulation Systems and scheduled an attic cleanup. Victor, the Forman; and his crew, Brian; David, and Mina arrived at 09:00, introduced themselves, explained what needed to be accomplished to remediate my problem. Our attic is 2500 square feet so they had quite a task to complete. They finished the task in one day. They took out old nasty insulation, vacuumed my entire attic on top of air sealed and rodent proof . I am very I’m impressed with this team. Can’t wait to have them back for my install. Professional, polite, eager. Take it from an old Retired Sailor, definitely recommend there business.

Advanced insulation systems did a fabulous job. Insulating my 1967 home in North Pacific Beach. The technology is commonly referred to as drill and fill During a remodel project, I learned that all of my exterior Walls had no insulation. If your home was built prior to 1970 and it’s located in San Diego there is a good chance that there is no insulation in your walls Advanced insulation system systems came out and measured all my exterior walls, including the bedrooms that faced My garage interior, provided me a quote and within days their team was at my home. They completed the job in one day and closed up all the Holes in the stucco and with just a dab of paint, You can’t tell that the work was done. My house is dramatically warmer and I’m very pleased with the Result. The foam product that they inject in the walls is unique and I believe this company is the only one in the San Diego area that uses it Once mixed, it has the consistency of marshmallow and it hardens to a very light material that it’s easy to penetrate if you had to snake wires through your walls or otherwise do some type of work inside the walls When injecting it, it does not expand and push walls out the same way that cellulose foam product does. The other alternative in insulation is A spray in insulation that tends to settle and create voids This material does not settle to the bottom of The wall And keeps it shaped for the entire cavity that has been injected in. Interesting thermal camera to image the interior of the walls so that they can tell where they need to drill the holes and make the injections The same camera can tell them that they completely filled the void As you might be able to tell, I’m very pleased with the end result and I just wish I had done it sooner

Amazing work! AIS did an extremely thorough job removing rats from my attic, replacing infested insulation, and preventing future infestation by sealing multiple hidden entry points. Victor, Brandon, David, Brallan, and Juan did an incredible job. What I really appreciated was that the insulation was not installed until there was near certainty that no rats were present. This patience in making sure the rats were under control in my attic made it clear this was not a rush cash grab, but instead the mark of true professionals who know their trade very well and provide exceptional customer service and craftsmanship. My highest recommendation if you have rats in your attic!

Victor, David and Geo were all very professional. I am happy that I chose advanced insulation to do the work. They know what they are doing and did a thorough cleanup of my attic , including the sealing. Completed removal of old (23 years to be exact) cellulose installation to upgraded and current code compliant with new material. Matt was quick to schedule the assessment and provided options for the scope of work. He made a recommendation for my home that actually saved me money. Appreciate the integrity. They protected my home as step one and worked efficiently together to complete the job as promised. They did so on a very hot day in December when the attic was 94 degrees! In this case, my canned lights in the ceiling stopped working after the crew cleaned out, re-insulated, and added a gable fan to my attic. I notified Matt that evening and he sent out Brandon the next morning to reconnect the wires that got loose. I contacted Advanced Insulation System to have them check the insulation in my attic because my house was getting really hot and we had to constantly run the AC. When Matt came to check it out, he actually recommended we only do an attic fan (which was much more cost effective) I appreciated the honesty and his willingness to save us money. We scheduled the installation and we had Victor and Brandon come by the house to install the attic fan. They were very polite, professional, clean, and very quick! They were in and out in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to get any type of insulation or attic fan work done.

Great company I had submitted my info and John parks had reached out right away to schedule an apt for his partner Matt who showed up on time and was awesome. He asked about my concerns and addressed them all as well as providing detailed pictures and solutions to the issues. I had gotten a few quotes from other company’s and Matt and his team didn’t pack the quote with and additional fees for waste/trash and was reasonable on the products pricing as well as the quote. Then his team that showed up was respectful and also informative as to expectations on what they would be doing. I can’t say enough good things about the team.
