We had a great experience with Texas Pro Insulators and would definitely recommend them. Nick, the owner, scheduled our appointment at a time that worked for both of us and made a point to meet with both homeowners, which we appreciated. He walked us through the entire process clearly and thoroughly, without any pressure. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and did excellent work. We’re really looking forward to seeing the impact the radiant barrier will have on our home comfort and our energy bill.

The radiant barrier installation has been the BEST investment and a game changer in temperature control for our home. Our attic is noticeably cooler as well. Before the radiant barrier installation, our AC would be set at 73 but our home would be routinely 78 with the AC running continuously trying to keep up by mid day during the hottest hours. It would be middle of the night before our house would cool down again. Now - our temp is set at 71 and stays at 71 even during the hottest part of the day with our AC not having to run continuously. I only wish we would have done this years ago because the past few years the summers in our house were not as comfortable as they could have been. I can’t wait to see the decrease in our electric bill as well. Recommend radiant barrier 1000000%.

I called to get an estimate. The lady that answered asked for my first, last name, company name, phone number and who knows what else and didn't know the simple question. I wanted to know an estimate on insulation because that's what they do, right? She was surprised I wanted an insulation quote. By the way she was asking me all these questions before even knowing why I was calling to just simply say "I don't know" lol

This company is awesome! The owner spoke to us and explained everything very well. I was initially not going to go with the foil insulation as other companies had insanely expensive quotes. This was incredibly affordable, highly recommended if you are looking to get your home insulated and save some money!

Nick, Maria and their team of installers were so easy to work with! Being that radiant barrier is not widely known, I searched for awhile to find a specialist in this product. Nick educated us on the various kinds of radiant and the pros and cons of each. When you got to his product, you could see a night and day difference. His team came right on time and Maria helped us schedule it very quickly. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up after themselves! Our home was build 55 years ago and our attic was scorching for most of the year, so we are looking forward to much more comfortable temperatures and lower energy costs! We had a very warm two bedrooms in the back of our home — not any more!! Great product! The guys who worked in our tiny attic did an outstanding job. Showed me the finished job and explained why it is done the way it is.. Didn’t leave a mess…. Highly recommend these folks. You won’t regret it.

Update 5/14/25: We’ve hit our first few 100 degree days and the house is staying cool without the AC blasting all day! Genuinely such a big difference that I felt compelled to revisit this review. My utility bills were exceeding $400 per month as the AC was blasting nonstop to try to cool the house during the summer. On top of that, I was experiencing exacerbated health-related issues (like fainting) from the temperature indoors, in addition to being generally uncomfortable, which is not ideal when working from home. I worked with Nick to schedule a meeting, where he explained how his radiant barrier work compared to traditional insulation methods in great detail. He brought the materials for demonstration, and even his own electricity bills to show the difference. After feeling confident in the materials, I opted to schedule the installation of the radiant barrier and solar fan that weekend. The installers were professional and kind, and took the time to show me the completed work. There was a shipping delay with the fan, but they proactively drove to Austin to pick it up, even after I assured them it could wait. I appreciate their sense of urgency and ensuring a completed job. Since the installation, we've had a couple of 90 degree days and I've already noticed a difference. It's been oddly quiet in the house, and I realized it is because the AC isn't constantly blasting to try to maintain a comfortable temperature due to the work of the radiant barrier. Based on the major change I've noticed thus far, I'm feeling confident that I made the right choice by trusting Nick and his team to properly prepare the house for summer. The installation crew arrived on time and finished within one day. No issues. They kept me informed of their progress and cleaned up before they left. So far so good. We’re hoping for a more comfortable summer.

Recently had E-shield put up in our attic. We were a bit apprehensive since we had already “invested”in the paint product from EAS/Home Depot. Boy are we happy we went ahead with Texas Pro. This time unlike the last time the utilities actually went down.

I live in San Antonio - my new HVAC unit struggled to cool our house if the temperature exceeded 80 degrees outside. My family was miserable in the summer. My wife made an appointment at the San Antonio home show. I'm always a little apprehensive about dealing with contractors from home shows, fairs, etc., but upon meeting Nick, I knew we had the right guy. He thoroughly explained the various types of insulation available and gave us all the details as to why he recommends the radiant barrier. He was able to schedule our installation for the same week and his crew arrived on time and went to work. They were finished by that afternoon. We couldn't be happier with this product. Our attic is no longer an oven and is always cooler than our garage. It was immediately obvious that the AC wasn't working as hard, and we've noticed a definite decrease in our electric bill. Excellent service! Excellent quality! Fast install! Don’t use anyone else. Nick and his team have the highest quality products for radiant barrier and they actually know how to install it. It works!! Financial savings: I waited to write this review until I had our electric bill reflecting a full month with our new radiant barrier. This investment is saving us between $40 and $60 a month. Comfort: We have a two story home and prior to this investment some rooms just wouldn’t stay cool. Now they do! Our home is so much more comfortable now. Thank you, Nick and team! I am beyond pleased with my windows, doors, and radiant barrier. They did the radiant barrier a week after I agreed to go with them while they ordered the windows. They use Wincore for windows and doors. I went from single pane glass to double panes and burglar proof windows. I was worried about keeping my house clean during the remodel. But before every windows or door was changed out they were hangin barriers to keep the dust and debris from coming in. I came home every day to see the progress and couldn’t be any happier. Nick was very helpful getting me the best windows that are made for our south Texas heat. I only wish I had done this sooner. It dropped down into the 40s the first week they were installed and the temperature of the house was a comfortable 70 degrees and the heater wasn’t running. Crew was also very thoughtful and professional. Amazing product and even better people. If you want the best windows and amazing service, save time and call Nick for a non-pressured sale. Nick came in got me better windows for a better price then I was quoted before i went with Texas insulators

When Nick arrived, he showed me a number of visuals including sample of materials used by other companies and the material they use. It was shocking to see the difference. The installment was quick and easy. And I am happy with their work.

They installed a radiant barrier in our attic yesterday and did a fantastic job. Our attic is huge and we thought it would take two days to complete it, but their crew finished it in just one day. They arrived on time. Their work is done right. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled their trash away. The crew was pleasant and answered questions. This morning, for the first time ever, our attic is cooler than our garage. Nick and his guys are the ones you want to use.

We were very impressed with the service that Nick, the owner, provided us - from the moment we did the initial consultation until the work was completed. Nick was very good at explaining the product and offerings that would work best for our house. We ended up installing the radiant barrier and two attic fans, and added insulation above the garage. Our main concern was the very high temperatures in the attic and the garage. After installation, the attic is either at the same temperature as outside or one or two degrees cooler! And lowered the garage temperature by 10-15 degrees when the temperatures outside are around 104. Overall, we are very satisfied with the end result and can’t wait for the savings on the utility bill. Also, we were very impressed with Nick’s professionalism, and he was very responsive throughout the process, even after installation, to make sure we got the results we wanted and were expecting. Definitely recommend this company.

We had our installation in May before summer hit. And wow! It is so cool in our 2 story home. We are able to run the AC at 76 and still feel comfortable. We are polar bears and love it cold and it still feels great. Plus our first bill was 32% lower! Highly recommend the investment.

Nick (the owner) was very thorough on the phone with me and gave me a great price. We went with the Radiant Barrier for our attic that had ZERO insulation in it. Prior to getting the Radiant Barrier installed, when it was 100 degrees outside, our thermostat inside would be set at 67 degrees and the indoor temp was still at 81 degrees and wouldn't cool under that. Now that Radiant Barrier is installed, 67 degrees on the thermostat holds the indoor temp at 67 degrees even when it's direct sun and 100+ outside.

I set an appointment with Nick but after our short meeting it seems I won't be doing business with Texas Pro Insulators. I see on the BBB another prospective customer had a similar experience to mine and on a google review I found the following, "Got a call back , was asked questions, was told by Nick he would call back after reviewing my house on Google maps , never heard back , waste of time ! Dont waste yours ! Response from the owner10 months ago A 1 star review for playing phone tag with a non-customer. What a jerk!" I disagree that this person was not your customer. I was your customer today unless that only counts once the contract is signed or the money changes hands. Thank's Nick for taking the time to text me the following, "Best of luck, and please take your business elsewhere." I believe I shall.

I had the radiant barrier installed in my attic, what a difference! I immediately noticed how much less my ac is running. Nick and Adrian were such professionals from start to finish. This was easily one of the best investments I have made.

Nick was very knowledgeable and explained how eShield insulation could help my home and save on electric bill. Their worker did an excellent job of installing the eShield insulation. My wife and I purchased a home amid the 2022 home buying frenzy at the beginning of the summer. We were lucky enough to be able to buy a beautiful 30 year old home in a gorgeous established neighborhood. The first month in our home we knew we had efficiency issues as the upstairs HVAC unit seemed to run 24 hours a day. I installed a Nest thermostat to get better data from the usage and confirmed that operation was indeed 22-23 hours a day. And to our shock our first bill from CPS was $690. I had heard of radiant barriers before and knew the science behind them is solid so I began shopping around for someone to give us a quote. After looking at several options and getting some quotes over the phone, and considering doing the install myself, we decided to call Texas Pro Insulators. Nick came by and sat down with my wife and I and walked through radiant barriers and the science behind it. I was already a believer but having researched it heavily, I can say that he didn't say anything untrue or make promises the barrier couldn't keep. We agreed on the price which was just to install a barrier in the attic and an attic entry insulation tent. I knew I likely wanted to get a solar attic fan and additional blown in insulation but the data scientist in me wanted to see incremental improvements. The process was painless, in house financing was a breeze with a good interest rate, and the scheduling was fast. The day of the install came and I was informed that it was supposed to be a two man team but there had been an issue so only one person was going to do the install. This guy knocked it out in a few hours and did an amazing job. After he was done, he invited me to look over the work and explained more about what to expect. After the installer left I was contacted once more just to get my feedback on the install. The following day was unlike every day prior. The HVAC upstairs only came on a little throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Around 3-4pm it would begin running for the better part of the hour every hour but it was a drastic change. Overall we saw a 23% reduction in HVAC cycle time on our upstairs unit. Our next CPS bill was $540, still work to go! After a quick call, Nick was able to come back to the house and verified that the barrier was indeed doing it's job after showing us the 40 degree differential between the attic temp below the barrier and between the barrier and roof. We discussed what other things can be done and obviously the subject of a solar attic fan and additional blown in was raised. For context our home had cellulose blown in that had settled into a packed 6-8" and measured ceiling temperatures at the hottest parts of the day were near 90 degrees. After we agreed on price and work was scheduled, we just waited for the install. Install thankfully was done on two different days, again I'm a data scientist so I wanted to see incremental improvements to know the value of each upgrade. Solar attic fan was next and that install went smoothly. You can feel the attic has much much more airflow and feels so much less stuffy. HVAC run time reduced another 5%. After the blown in was installed we improved another 7%. All in all we're very happy with Nick and Texas Pro Insulators. Always honest and forthright. At some point we'll be using them to upgrade our windows but for now the install was fast, clean, worked as expected. If I moved tomorrow, Nick would be one of the first numbers I called to get setup right for this Texas heat.

Professional to the CORE! They tell you exactly what they will do and then execute flawlessly! We had an issue with getting the material installed above our bedroom and it caused the room to heat up a lot. They corrected the issue immediately. Amazing company with high integrity!!!!

Wow, what a wonderful experience. I just spoke with Nick on the phone and had a wonderful experience. I called regarding a hot room I have in my home over the garage and I just didn't know what to do to fix this. Nick was super honest and let me know that his team could not fully fix the problem we have with that room. He guided me in the direction that I needed to go and was honest to me. He said in our call, "I am not going to try and upsell you something that I know will not fix the solution". We talked on the phone for 5-10 min and he just walked me through other ways to fix my problem. No cost to me whatsoever. If I or a friend/family member ever need services he can provide, I will for sure be using him as he was honest to a person who he knew he would not provide a service.
