The installation of the windows was a great experience. What this company is lacking and not good at is servicing their 100% warranty policy. I've been trying to have them come out to fix a problem with the casement windows they installed in my house, since September 2024 and I'm still getting the run around from Kevin. I have contacted Kevin several times in the past month and still he can't put me on his schedule to come look at the problem to then have somebody come fix it. I've attempted to contact the owner of the company with no success. By the way, I also had to pay for the parts to be shipped to my house before they even knew if these parts were even needed to correct the problem. Beware!

They designed and installed new energy-efficient windows throughout our home in 2022, and included a limited lifetime transferable warranty, which we will give to new buyers when we sell our home. After San Antonio hit 105 degrees in May 2025, I was ready to purchase a radiant barrier for our single-story home. After much research online, I asked Green Energy of San Antonio to come out and see what they could do. Jimmy, the sale rep, was forthright in his explanation of what my home needed and why. He answered every question I had and allowed me to make the best choice. Once my wife and I made a decision on installing the radiant barrier, their installation team was able to install it the same week we signed the contract. The installation team was wonderful. They were courteous, explained what they were doing and how long it would take. It took two days to install which is reasonable give the heat the endure in the attic. After they finished the showed their hand work and I was pleased. The results: The house is much cooler. (As Jimmy told me a radiant barrier is like having 10ft of insulation!) A example, my home office is on the southwest corner of the home and there are days since the install where I do not even turn on the ceiling fan in afternoon, because the room is not as hot as used to be!

I’ve owned two houses in San Antonio and Green Energy placed a radiant barrier in both. The Texas heat is brutal and these barriers actually work.

This is a top notch company with a top notch product. The installers were very courteous and professional.they installed the radiant barrier in a 2100 square. ft. House in one day.

We had Green Energy of San Antonio install our windows in 2015 with the understanding that the windows came with "Lifetime Warranty". We had them install Casement Windows in the kitchen which we've had problems opening since the beginning. We've called and had the contractor come out to adjust the window several times after the installation. Last year, I called and reported the same problem and ask if they can send someone to come check and resolve the problem. This time yhey said that I had to contact the window manufacturing company, to resolve any issues with the windows they installed with a Lifetime Warranty, which I did. This process took several calls as they investigated and decided to send me window opening parts, which I know and explained it was not the problem. I even sent a video of the problem. The manufacturer explained that I will have to pay for the shipping of parts. I informed Green Energy of San Antonio when the parts arrived so they can schedule someone to come install them. This is where it gets interesting. I was told that I needed to send them a video of the problem so they can determine if Green Energy of San Antonio or the customer will pay for the installation of the parts. I followed up with the company last week and was informed that the person working with my case had moved back home and that my case had to be assigned to someone else. To make clear, I reported this issue in October 2024...NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! To be fair to the business I attempted to reach out to the owner Mr. Richard Ramos, before posting this review, but had no luck, since I found no direct contact information for the owner.

Started well - with what later became evident as over-promises. Owner lacks true salesman leadership and commands exaggerated prices, then subcontracts to cheap labor to maintain elevated margins. Gimmicky and expensive - lack true value and proper delivery/execution.

Was sold the “magical” radiant barrier for my attic. I have lived with this mistake for two years and will be ripping it out for the proper solution. There was no noticeable change since day one with cooling my house/saving on utilities. I’m sure the other products and services they offer might be top notch, but this was definitely not. Hate to have to throw away a new product, not very “green”…

The guys who install really don't care about the mess they make, slid the bathroom door so hard it came off the rails. They showed up late and without a ladder to do attic work.

So helpful and understanding of issues and schedules. The guys that did the install were very quick even in the brutal heat in the attic. We can already tell a difference and inside stays around 72 all day with our ac set at 72 when it use to run around 78 inside with our ac set at 68. Our ac is actually taking breaks instead of running all day. Aimee was so great and helpful every step of the way. With how great it’s been the 2 weeks we’ve had it already I can’t wait to see how August goes. Thank you guys so much!

Very professional and informative, but the best part was their no pressure approach. They told me how I could fix my issue by requesting the contractor to do the attic insulation right and they showed me where they didn't do a good job. The only reason I give them 4 stars is bc they did not do any jobs for me, but I'm sure they would of done good work.

Worthy of a five star rating. I called for a quote, received the quote, and had the entire service of radiant barrier installation all handled within one week. I felt that the sales man was nice, and the workers were great as well. The service was completed yesterday and I have no bad news to report and am feeling confident in this review.

I had Green Energy of San Antonio diagnose a cooling issue in my home. They confirmed my insulation was adequate and didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. They recommended I improve ventilation in my attic through my roofing company to not void the warranty and suggested I work with the builder to fix a problematic window instead of pushing new windows. Their honesty and helpful advice were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

I am SO impressed with the integrity of the people at Green Energy. I have a very unusual attic and the young man who came to give me an estimate told me so many things I did not know. And he was honest enough to tell me that what I needed first of all was proper ventilation which unfortunately their company cannot do. I have to get my roofing guy to do that. Then if that doesn't fix my problem, Green Energy can look at some options for me. He also showed me how to turn on a turbin vent fan that my husband installed and I just did not know how to turn on! The reps name was J. Reyes, and I am so glad that he came. No telling what other companies would have told me, just to get the job

Hey there! I just wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Green Energy Windows & Radiant Barrier. Let me tell you, these windows are absolutely amazing! Even during those freezing 18-degree temperatures last week, they kept my home warm and cozy. It was like magic! I couldn't be happier with the results. Honestly, I wish I could give them 10 stars, but I guess 5 will have to do. Highly recommend!

i didn't want to write a review of this company because I didn't want to call any attention to them good or bad, however I felt compelled to share my experience after recent routine A/C maintenance and damage to my ducts were found. I had a terrible experience with Green Energy of San Antonio. The installation was a disaster – they damaged my air ducts and even fell through my ceiling, leaving a 2-foot hole. It took nearly 2 weeks to get the repairs done, and when they were, it was poorly executed. I had to redo the repairs myself at my own expense. The owner's solution was a mere $200 refund. The air ducts were not properly re-strapped, and there were disconnected ducts venting air into the attic. Furthermore, I've noticed no improvement in comfort, and my energy bill hasn't decreased. Stay away from this company.

Green Energy did an amazing job installing radiant barrier and a solar fan in our attic! They are a small, local, family owned business which checks all the boxes in mh book! They were timely, professional, affordable, and clean. If it weren't for the much cooler home I wouldn't have even known they'd been there at all! I am beyond pleased with their work, and they have become our go to company for making our home more energy efficient and comfortable. Jymi and Amiee are so thorough, and communication is always clear and concise. You will certainly be in good hands with this company!

The service and installers were great. However, we were sold radiant barrier and new windows totaling over $16k at the end of last summer. Since it was at the end of summer, we were not able to really see what it would do in the true days of summer. We were told our home would be much more comfortable along with saving about 10-20% on our utility bills. Well, nothing has changed. Not even our utility bill. There is no difference. Our AC is only 5 years old and is serviced quarterly so it is not the AC. I wish they would not sell something just to sell when it does not do the job. Do your research before spending thousands of dollars.

I had 27 new windows installed. They look really nice BUT I can’t close the windows after opening them. When I contacted Green Energy for help I was told no one else has this problem! Not helpful. Very high price for windows that don’t work..

It was such a great experience doing business with this company. I had 3 broken windows and it did not make sense to pay almost $1000 to have these repaired. When Aimee came to see me, I expected a much higher price for such high quality windows. I was so impressed with Aimee's expertise and honesty that I signed up to have all the windows replaced. Aimee and her crew went above and beyond to make sure my installation went perfectly and that I was completely satisfied. A couple of days after the installation, while allowing caulk to dry, Dan came back to help me with heavy lifting and mini blinds. Wow! I was beyond impressed! If I could give Green Energy of S.A. more than five stars I would definitely give them much more.

The service from Green Energy of San Antonio was very friendly. I needed a radiant barrier for my home and Green Energy was able to exceeded my expectations. My home is more comfortable now with the radiant barrier I have installed in the attic. My air conditioner doesn’t run quite as much. Went by the office to say thank you and I was greeted by the owner of the company, Richard Ramos, and he was very nice and told him that he had a great staff and they were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Green Energy of San Antonio if you need a radiant barrier in your home. I can’t thank them enough for all the work that they have done to make my home great again.

I had a few quotes for attic insulation and Green Energy was an easy choice. Their quote was very clear and I really appreciated their honesty. They purposely quoted just the service that would be most impactful and even told me to hold off on work I thought was need. Great company to work with.

We used Green Energy to have radiant barrier installed in all three of our attic spaces. Aimee was very professional and informative, she did not try to sell us anything that we didn't need and she didn't push for us to choose the most expensive side options. We have had the barrier in place for a month now and the difference it has made to our comfort is great. We had one room that ran constantly 20 deg hotter than other rooms due to a Texas attic, it now stays at the same temperature as the other bedrooms. Our AC units have been able to maintain the set temperature , which was not the case before the installation of the barrier. Highly recommend this company.

I was very impressed by Green Energy. Jymi met with us and took the time to listen to the issues that we were experiencing with cooling down our home in this summer heat. He gave us an assessment of our attic and gave us honest feedback of whether radiant barrier would solve our problems. Radiant barrier would be a good way to increase the home’s efficiency, but wouldn’t solve our a/c issues, which I greatly appreciated the honesty and feedback. We will be using Green Energy in the future, after we resolve the a/c issues.

My attic is full of insulation and it’s covering my air conditioning vent pipes. I’ve got Disconnected air-conditioning duct and I need to connect it again. It’s leaking cold air into my attic. I needed to have the insulation removed and then put back in after they fix the leak. I met with Jimmy. He said really all you need to do is take a rake move the insulation and then rake it back. He saved me about $5000. He could’ve told me something different. Very professional very great people.

When I needed assistance with documentation of the insulation jobs that they did they were zero help. The third party contractors that actually did the job did a great job but the office help leaves a lot to be desired. Still have not received the documentation required by CPS. After green energy got my money they have basically ghosted me for everything that I have needed for my rebate. In my opinion they are a very shady company and I would look elsewhere. I question why they would not provide me with simple documentation unless they are trying to hide something. I have a simple 1000 ft house with a four corners. Had the blown in insulation and radiant barrier which cost me $8,000. I have seen absolutely no appreciable difference in utility usage due to this upgrade...

I don't normally write reviews but I felt I needed let people know of my great experience with Green Energy of San Antonio! I highly recommend this company. I received 3 different bids for 8 new windows on a 1962 old home with original windows. I ultimately chose Green Energy of San Antonio and very pleased with the outcome. The windows did take longer than expected but I think that was due to current supply chain issues. Jymi was the sales person, very professional and knowledgeable on his products. and installers Steve and David did an excellent job. They were very professional , courteous. They did an amazing job!!! Steve also took the time to show me how the windows worked and gave me some instructions. The windows look beautiful and I am so happy with the outcome. Aimee was super helpful and all the team at Green Energy of San Antonio was pleasure to work with.

I can not stress enough how disappointed I am with this company. While the product seems to work well enough the process of dealing with the company, attempting to get the multiple errors corrected, and the constant frustration just wasn't worth it. In the end I had to call a second company out to resolve my issues and pay an additional cost. I would not recommend Green Energy of SA.

We are very pleased with the radiant barrier we had Green Energy install in our attic. We have definitely noticed a difference in the closets that the attics are connected too. We had an issue with the upstairs AC unit after install and Green Energy responded immediately even though it was after 8pm. The issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. Our home has long suffered with extreme heat in all rooms during the unforgiving Texas summers. Temps reached to 83/85 and higher during the day when the AC was set at 77/78. Then, we called Green Energy of San Antonio and Jymi came out to visit us. After testing each room temp, which reached about 165, we knew the radiant barrier was for us. We set a date and the radiant barrier AND a ridge vent were installed. Almost immediately, we could feel the difference in the home. It was far cooler than we had ever experienced before. The pricing was good too. Working with the Green Energy of San Antonio team, Jymi, Amiee, David and all was a great joy. there were hiccups here and there, but the team was quick to address. We are thrilled that we did this and wondered why it took so long for us to do it. As the matriarch of the family said, "See, i told you so!" I would recommend this product and to better it all, we are looking at window installations as well. thank you, Green Energy of San Antonio! And, i think if our AC unit could speak, it'd say, "yes, thank you, Green Energy of San Antonio! I was getting tired."

Green Energy replaced all the windows in our older (1950s-era) house this summer. The price was fair (came in a little less expensive than Southwest Exterior's quote), and the service was excellent. Our account representative Aimee and our installation foreman David were both consistently professional and very responsive; David's team did a fast and clean installation over just two days. We're thrilled with the quality of the windows they provided; they're gorgeous to look at and they improved our home's energy efficiency immediately, no longer is our A/C struggling to keep up with the 100+ degree August days and our energy-efficient windows are to thank. Lastly, we live in a dense and sometimes noisy neighborhood with a garage band that sometimes practices next door, so we added on the Sound Reduction package and it made a huge difference helping keep our house quieter. I would recommend Green Energy SA to anyone looking to upgrade their home's energy efficiency and appearance in San Antonio.

We had a mid-grade radiant barrier installed and also had some insulation blown in over our garage, which has never had any the entire time that we have lived in this house. They did an excellent job and I can definitely notice a difference in how much less hot it gets in our garage now. It's still pretty toasty but not hot enough to bake a cake out there anymore!! We are VERY satisfied with the work that we had done, and would definitely recommend Green Energy to anyone!!! 😁👍

I had Green Energy of San Antonio come in and install Radiant Barrier, Soffit vents, and install a ridge vent on my house. They did an excellent job! My house was instantly cooler, and my HVAC system actually turned off. It usually runs non stop during the day because of the temperature outside. Thank you so much for everything!

Crew showed up and got to work. Hard working guys. Two breaks for water in a few hours and they were done. Attic looks great. Waiting a couple of days for attic to stabilize before I go up. I highly recommend this company if your attic is hot. I got the copper fleet.

After two years of boiling summers and the second floor of the house being a sauna, we decided the brand new AC we purchased was not enough. We had two different AC companies come over and check the AC, ducts and insulation.... all passing. Each providing feedback that our attic is the hottest attic they have been in. We saw Green Energy of SA video from Facebook and had them come for a free consultation. This family owned business by far exceeded our expectations with their amazing customer service. They helped us realize our attic was reaching 173 degrees (outside it was 90) which was a huge reason why we could never keep our upstairs cool (80 degrees and up any given day). We talked about options since this is not our forever home and went with radiant barrier (25 year warranty) and one fan. This was a pretty significant investment but ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! Within 2 days we could totally feel the difference in all rooms upstairs. No more showers to keep cool, tower fans on full blast, and night sweats! It’s worth it and this local family owned business is superior. It’s only been two weeks, so I will happily repost if I also see a significant decrease on my CPS bill!

Fantastic experience in all aspects. The estimator, Jymi, gave me a solution that was a better fit for my attic than what I had called for, and was far less than the original solution I thought and others had quoted me. He gave me information, data, and real figures on why, in my particular case, ridge vents were better than a radiant barrier from a cost standpoint. There was no pressure to buy, no up-selling, just honest HELP with a problem. That is rare form honesty and integrity. The installer, David, was also fantastic. He was friendly, communicative with scheduling, always reaching out to me before I had to make any calls. He was on time, answered questions, and was very clean. He vacuumed my roof after he was done, who does that?! David does that and there isn't single nail out of place or in the yard. Do yourself a favor and use these guys. The solution you get will be right, honest, and done very well.

Our new Green Energy windows block out most outside noise (even Thunder), and West facing windows are cool to touch at 4 p.m.!! We love how much they have modernized the look of our house!! Friends have been impressed and asked if we had Bigger windows put in!! Total Satisfaction with Green Energy office staff and product!!

Six years ago Green Energy installed my radiant barrier, blown-in insulation, and a couple solar powered attic exhaust fans. They did a terrific job and I am still super happy with the outcome. I combined all of this work with replacing my single pane windows with double pane. Immediately my monthly average electric bill dropped from about $425 to about $220 and has remained in that range ever since! Last week I called them regarding a warranty question. The phone was answered immediately and I received nothing short of superior support. I cannot express exactly how happy I am with Green Energy, even six years after installation!

Constant communication is Aimee’s strong suit. Family-owned business that cares about their reputation. Subcontractors that provide excellent work and communicated with me and the contractor the entire time. They stand behind their labor and products, and found the best quality and value for my windows and radiant barrier. Aimee also referred me to excellent contractors for other renovations that my property needed. She’s an amazing resource!

What a great experience! We just replaced all of the windows and patio doors on our 35 year old home in Sonterra. Richard came out to give us a bid and demonstrate his product. We were expecting a much higher price for such high quality windows. We were so impressed that we signed up on the spot. Richard and his entire crew were absolutely wonderful to work with. The installer's, Dave, his daughter, Carrie Ann and Dave's brother Jim, were so diligent ... showed up on time and always left the work space clean and tidy at the end of each day. We had our windows installed back in April 2017 & 1st of all I would like to thank Jymi for his overall sales on the Quantum Green Energy Windows. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help us decide what we wanted. 2nd I would definitely like to thank David (installer) for his overall knowledge and help with installing all of our windows in our home. It took a bit longer than expected (which was fine), but he and his workers did a great job in making sure the windows were put in correctly and the other items that needed to be taken care of were done neatly and in a professional manner. He would come in on time that day and explain what was going to happen. If we had any questions or concerns, he would answer them quickly and/or get it done for you. At the end, he did make us do a walk thru to make sure the windows were done to our satisfaction, if not, he would take care of it for us!! From beginning to end, our experience with Green Energy of San Antonio was amazing. When my husband and I first talked about getting window replacements, I told him I would ask for recommndations from our church. Someone recommended Green Energy and said they were a great company. I began researching online for who might be reasonable and had good reviews. I also did a comprehensive search on the different types of windows that were being offered online. I really wasn't impressed with any of them. They were ridulously expensive. Then I found a video on the Green Energy of San Antonio, that came out on TV and demonstrated how strong and effecient they were. I told my husband, Tom, he needed to watch it. We were both sold on the windows. I made an appointment and they came and explained eveything in details, how the window works, how the radiant barrier worked, and the pricing, which was way cheaper than other companies were trying to get from us. They were very professional, curtious, and listened to exactly what we wanted. When it came time to order and install the windows, they kept in contact with me from the start to finish. We love our windows and it has made our home look even more beautiful. It has also added to the value of our home. As promised, there has been noise reduction, I have had to turn the thermostat up becuase the temperature we had set it on for years, now felt much colder in the house than before we got these amazing windows. Green Energy recently installed three new picture windows in our living area, overlooking the woods of the Silverhorn Golf Course. The windows are remarkably elegant and a tremendous upgrade to our home. The windows offer a tint that enhances the beauty of the outdoors viewed from the living space. We also added a new window in the bathroom that allows light, while maintaining privacy and air to circulate. We are very happy with the results. I can’t say enough good things about Green Energy of SA. First, Richard came out and gave his presentation and explained the difference between his windows and other windows, why he did what he did, and how he was able to do what he does at such a competitive price. He left us with an estimate, and asked us to call him or his office with any further questions. I called 2 or 3 times with a few questions over the weeks that we were narrowing down our decision. After much though, we decided to move forward. We really appreciated the “non-pushy” sales approach that Green Energy provided. It seemed as if they really wanted us to make the best decision for “us”. When we were ready, we coordinated with their installer, David. He’s really top-notch, by the way. David came out, measured the windows in few minutes. A few weeks later our windows were ready to install. 2 days later we had 9 new windows. Super easy, no B.S., honest, quality business. I've had the Green Energy Radiant Barrier for approx. 8 years, and and I'm still feeling the cool benefits in my house. leave my house in the morning and before I leave I set my thermostat at 79 degrees, and when I get home my home is 74 degrees inside. Best decision to I would ever made!!!

My experience with Green Energy of San Antonio has been nothing short of outstanding. After receiving 3 bids for radiant type barriers, we settled on Green Energy. We are so glad we did. One company flat refused to do the job because the pitch was to steep, not these guys. Attention to detail was spot on, clean up after job was spotless. Everything from dealing with front office to job site crews was very professional, but managed to keep the "family feel" to this whole experience. Now all that would be a bunch of fluff except for the most important thing. My attic is 20-30 degrees cooler in just the first day, and they didn't finish the job until after 4 pm, and I'm writing this at 5pm.

Great windows. The install crew Dave, Richard and Mike were top notched. If I could give 10 stars I would. Windows blocked the road traffic next to my house.

In early 2018, I had Green Energy of San Antonio install Copperflect radiant energy barrier in my attic. I couldn't be happier. A little pricey perhaps but oh so satisfying if you want the best. Professional at every level, from first contact to installation to pics of the installation to follow-up contact. Some other testimonials claimed almost instant change in their energy bills. I was hopeful but skeptical since it is still winter. My wife and I are comfortable and I can tell our furnace is actually working less. I am actually looking forward to summer to see how much money I will be saving each month. Thank you Green Energy of San Antonio for such a great product that lives up to its hype.

Decided to redo all of our windows since our house was built in the 50's & still had the original ones. After calling around I choose Green Energy due to the reviews & website. The salesperson that came out was very nice & informative. I would suggest to anyone thinking of doing their windows. The company had the windows ready earlier than promised & installed all 6 in just a few hours. I've gotten many compliments on them and the house actually looks almost modern. The way they keep out sound & hot/cold is amazing. Definitely worth the money!!

In Jan of 2017 Green Energy of SA gave me an estimate, to replace the windows, and a very large sliding glass door, in my house. They worked with me, until I found a solution that would best suit my home and pocketbook. They weren't the cheapest, and the installation did up running over by a couple of days, but it was worth it. Aimee did an excellent job of staying in touch, and keeping me informed. I was impressed enough with the work, and the windows, that I also had them install a heat barrier, and a ridge vent. My utilities have decreased, my house is quieter and safer. I've recommended them to others, and will continue to do so.

Their professionalism was spot on the entire process. Starting with the initial home visit for estimate from Steve to Aimee who was very personable and a joy to work with on scheduling, etc. Workmanship was top notch. The follow up inspection with Mr Ramos was our final interaction. Again, top notch customer service , very professional, and makes you feel like you've known each other for years. The radiant barrier installed in my attic along with a solar ventilation fan has been one of the best investments I have made! I recommend all my family and friends to get this done to their homes it really cut down my electric bill and my A/C people don't mind working in the attic to service the unit since it is much cooler up there. Green Energy of SA installed radiant barrier after we had another spray on type installed in our attic and the spray on type didn't work! What an amazing difference in comfort and savings on our CPS bills - our AC barely runs! My husband always says you get what you pay for ... you can pay a little more now for a good quality product that works, or you can keep spending money on your electricity and AC repairs over the long haul! Don't be fooled by companies with similar names ...they aren't using the same product and are profiting off the hard work and reputation of others.

We had windows installed by David and he was great! He walked us through each step and answered every question without hesitation. His team was quick and clean, and they always worked with our schedules. They were very sweet to our dogs. The windows look great and do exactly what Richard said they would. We've hardly had to turn on our AC or heat since getting them because the temperature in the house stays regulated better. We also had the radiant barrier installed in our upstairs attic which had made a huge difference in one bedroom that we could not regulate the temperature without an additional fan or cranking the heat way up. We are very happy with the results and wouldnt use any other window in the future!

I am truly impressed with the quality of service that we have received from Green Energy of San Antonio. I requested an estimate site survey and to get recommendations and they were at my house the next day. It was a pleasure meeting John Ramos, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He was also an excellent teacher. He shared a wealth of knowledge and expected nothing in return. The best part was when Mr. Ramos left the house we had a quote in hand and it was final quote no estimates, adding and making changes like other companies after the work is accomplished. It is a nice feeling to have the actual cost up front and not be surprise once the work is completed. The installation team was very courteous and they were fast. They arrived during the expected timeframe and they were out of there ahead of schedule. Within a few days after the installation of the radiant barrier, I already notice a difference with the heat level in my attic. Prior to payment an audit is conducted to verify the installation was successful and they checked the temperature levels in the attic. Prior to the installation the temperature was ranging from 120 and up. After the installation the levels were ranging from 85-95 degrees… wow what a difference. The temperature was matching the outside temperature levels. Since the installation I have received a CPS energy bill and it has gone down in price by $80. This has been a great investment. I got the Copper Radiant Barrier. There were no savings. My home is STILL hot. When I complained, they came out and tried to sell me windows. The first evaluation showed our windows to be fine. 7 months later John Ramos offered me windows at cost. They will not refund the money and take back their material. John will laugh at you in your face as he tells you that you are the only disatisfied customer.

Last week, we had copper radiant barrier placed in both attic spaces of our home that was built in 1967. We had looked into solar panels as a way to be more energy efficient, but the overall cost was too much. We did some online research and thought radiant barrier might be a more cost effective alternative. I found Green Energy of SA online and submitted an online form for more information. I promptly received a phone call from Aimee, who was very friendly and informative. We scheduled an appointment for a free estimate and informative session. John Ramos, the consultant, showed up on time and was friendly and professional. First, he looked in both attics and did some measurements. Then, we sat down and he showed me the four types of radiant barriers they offer (sharing that they are the only local company to have copper barrier). He also showed video clips of their company performing temperature comparisons on local TV shows. It was very informative and by the end of the appointment, I felt I had a good grasp of the differences and benefits of each type of barrier. He left the estimate with me, so I could discuss it with my spouse. He gave us a call a few days later to check in, but was not pressuring us with a sale. We had decided we were going with the copper barrier that would offer a lifetime warranty. The price was very reasonable, and they offered us a discount, as well. They were able to schedule us within the next week. The day of the install, there was a small miscommunication. They had shown up to the wrong house, then left after trying to call our home phone (which we rarely use), so they actually got started a little later than expected. They had two teams working to finish up one attic, then moved to the other. They were professional throughout the entire install. They cleaned up after themselves, vacuuming insulation that had fallen out of the attic, etc. They were considerate of our home and were professional around our two daughters. They finished up the job before 4pm that day. At this point, we still had not paid a penny to the company. The next morning, John returned to the house for a post-install inspection. Everything looked good, and he told us we could expect anywhere from a 10% discount to a 35% discount on our CPS/ utility bill. It will take a little while for us to see a big difference, but we look forward to enjoying a more comfortable living space this summer-- hopefully with a lower bill. We'd definitely recommend Green Energy of SA to anyone looking into radiant barrier for their home.

We had the Copperflect Radiant Barrier installed, which came with a lifetime warranty. We also had an exterior wall filled with blow in. Two years ago we had the Copper Radiant Barrier installed in our attic. We live out in the country and have the sun beating down on our home most of the time. After the install it took awhile for the temps to stabilize in the attic, but after that - it has been wonderful! Before, we were always adjusting the thermostat to keep the house cool. All that did was keep our electric bills high and put extra work load on our AC. We set it at 75 and never touch it - UNLESS - we bump it up because it is too cool! Never thought we'd ever say that! This has got to be one of the most overpriced products i have ever seen. They quoted me around 7500 dollars to put there product in my attic. I think they are out of thier mind if they think that installing a insulation like material that will take 20 years to pay its self off in my attic is a good investment.
