When Tom first arrived at our house for the assessment, he was very thorough explaining as to what we would expect. He is a very down to earth person and easy to talk to. We liked him immediately. We never felt pressured to sign anything. We called him in a few days to set up the installation. Tom and Josh are very professional, and explicitly explained everything along the way as to what they were doing. I was surprised as to how little the insulation refresh would cost as compared to other companies - very reasonable. The CPS [instant] rebate processing is another incentive to go with Geo-Insulation; they handle all of the paperwork. Best Insulation Service Ever! I had my home insulated a little over a year ago with Geo-Insulation. It was a terrific experience & one that has saved me significantly on my energy bills. Prior to the holidays, my hot water heater located in the attic "blew up" causing me to need a small amount of my insulation redone. Highly recommended. Our historic home has one larger attic space and two small side attics - all with old, contaminated insulation. We also have a new detached, uninsulated garage. By far getting different appraisal Geo-Insulation,LLC was the best pricing and they were on time very reasonable and did alot of other services. I just bought an older home in and according to an inspector, I needed some more insulation in my attic. I contacted Geo insulation and spoke to Tom Porter its owner. He was very professional, and provided me with an estimate of potential costs. I invited him to inspect my attic, he arrived timely, and provided me with a very reasonable price and did not push for any upgrades. We set up a date and time for installation he and it didn’t take him very long to do. Before leaving he gave me some gifts that are very useful to any homeowner. Very impressed with GEO-Insulation. When I googled "Best Insulation companies in San Antonio", they were 1 of the 5 best. Also, they were on CPS listing for companies that qualify for the CPS rebate ( which was worth over $800). When I called, the owner (Tom) returned my call quickly and he came out within 48 hours to provide a free estimate of the work. I was so confident with his very reasonable estimate , that I didn't even get another bid. We scheduled the work around my open schedule and once started , it was completed in approximately 3 hours. GEO showed up right on time and, when they finished, they clean-up was immaculate. Finally, I don't have to wait for the CPS rebate, as they took it directly off the invoice, so I wrote a check for the "after rebate price". This is a 1st Class operation.

We were experiencing temperature fluxuation from room to room in our house, even after installing energy efficient windows and verifying our HVAC was running effectively. After calling and/or speaking with multiple businesses about our attic insulation, we selected Geo-Insulation to complete the work needed. The owner, Tom Porter, responded quickly to inquiries and scheduled a same day visit to assess our situation. He proposed multiple upgrades to improve not only the insulation depth but also air flow in the attic and additional barriers for hot spots (ie access doors). Mr. Tom and his employee Mr. Josh installed a manual attic fan in my home earlier this morning and not only were both gentlemen quick, clean, and professional with the job, the entire service was smooth and transparent from initial contact (day of estimate) through to the end. On the day of scheduled estimate and actual date of services, Mr. Tom arrived promptly on time and got right to it. What I very much appreciated about working with Geo-Insulation's was I felt taken care of, that what I really needed was being taken care of and installed, as Mr. Tom mentioned 'baby steps.' I did not get pressured or sold into the trick of the salesman, you need this and this and that just to make money and rob me of my money. No unnecessary products pushed on me, even though I asked about one in particular. With Mr. Tom's expertise, I was advised to first look at x,y,z before jumping into the radiant barrier I had asked about initially, so that if anything else had to be done roofwise, do so then worry about a barrier so I wouldn't end up paying for that all over again if it came down to that. Not only that, I felt that Mr. Tom was very honest and knowledgeable in advising the best for my attic situation was the fan as it had no ventilation whatsoever. I'd go up into the attic and there was absolutely no air circulating, just stagnant scorching heat, at least until this morning when Mr. Tom and Mr. Josh installed that internal manual fan. I will definitely be hiring Mr. Tom and working with Geo-Insulations again in the near future for my attic and insulation needs as this has been one of the easiest, professional, and legit contractors I have ever hired and worked with. 5 Star Service! First interaction was getting scheduled for a quote, where Tom showed up on time and took direct measurements of my attic for insulation removal. I was very happy that he took measurements manually and with a laser tool rather than the typical run-of-the-mill contractors measuring from the outside perimeter of house. Tom took this back and sent me a formalized quote later and I was very satisfied with his pricing. We scheduled the service for a month out since he had ordered a brand new vacuum machine and it would not arrive until then. There was a delay in the commercial vac order, but Tom was very professional and notified me immediately so we could reschedule. The day of the insulation removal came; Tom and his team showed up on time and started working immediately. I have a large 2 story home so they ran the hoses through the 2nd story window. They were very knowledgeable and considerate of my floors and possible damage by covering surfaces and tying off hoses to prevent unwanted movement. It took them about 6 hours nonstop to vacuum the entire attic out. After completing they sprayed the attic with a disinfectant and installed a smoke alarm. They did not have on the truck that day but they came back a couple days later and installed the attic door tent. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Tom and his team’s professionalism; I would recommend Geo-Insulation for anyone looking for insulation services!

I had a great experience with Geo-Insulation I had a problem with my A.C. was running constantly and broke down. i checked the insulation and it had gone down in many places. I had called the company that initially put the it in wich had given me a lifetime guarantee. Called them 3 times they never sent anyone. So I called Geo-insulation, tom came gave a great price and when he went to put in the insulation he let me know i had a problem with the vents. wich I replaced and I can honestly say I believe he has helped me save a lot money every one should use this company

We reached out due to our recently purchased home having humidity & temperature issues. Tom came in and inspected our attic & found uneven levels of insulation. Not to mention need for exhausting all the heat up there with a fan. Gave us a quote the same day, and his word that he would help the best way he could. Our decision was rather immediate as well. Dates were given and only had a small delay due to parts for the fan. Rescheduled another week out, and they came right on time. In a few hours, we were done. My blown-in fiberglass insulation experience w/ Tom at Geo-Insulation was top-notch and super seamless. He bumped me up from 14" insulation to 24", plus insulated over my garage. I plan to use him for any future insulation work. Quote process: Tom was really responsive via text/call, arrived on-site to answer all my questions, and provided a detailed quote shortly thereafter. I did a lot of analysis to find top-rated insulation companies and collected 5+ quotes. His bid was competitively priced, and we worked through a few iterations to get it just right. Summary of pros: I ultimately chose Tom because I could tell he was intellectually savvy on insulation, trustworthy, and very experienced. Expertise: I heavily researched insulation on Reddit, and everything Tom said and suggested was spot-on. For example, he justified why I shouldn't get spray foam insulation, whereas other companies ignored the risks associated w/ it. My Father researched Geo-Insulation and he found that they had great reviews. He called and spoke with Tom to schedule an appointment. Tom was on time and gave us a quote. He explained in great detail on how/what was going to be done. I especially appreciated Tom's professionalism, and was very impressed with his many years of experience. On the day of the installation, Tom brought his helper. They were very careful, thorough, and finished the job to our satisfaction. My Father has high vaulted ceilings. My experience with Geo Insulation was wonderful. Tom gave me a fair and honest quote the same day that he visited my home. My interactions with Tom at Geo have been amazing! I recently had insulation blown into my attic. I did shop around and Tom's estimate came in about 1/3 less than the other. In addition, Tom allowed me to pay with a credit card, actually showed up himself to do the install, and submitted the CPS rebate paperwork for me (all things I would not get with the other company). I haven't gotten my first electric bill since install, but I can tell that my AC/heater are not coming on as much as before I had the insulation blown in. Thanks Tom!

The moment I talked to Tom I knew he was being honest with me. He communicated the process so that I could understand. He set up an appointment to give me a proposal and that same day I was able to review it. He was prompt and very professional, I could tell he loves what he does and delivers quality work. The price he quoted me was so much reasonable than another competitor gave me, I was being taken by the other guy. Tom delivered quality work. I loved he was very considerate of keeping my home clean. Tom communicated with me throughout the process. When he would be arriving and giving me an estimate on how long the project would take. I loved that he would take care of the CPS rebate and I would not need to submit it myself. That was the icing on the cake. I recommend Tom for a wonderful experience.

When Tom came out to give me the estimate, he was very professional. I decided to gamble and have him blow in additional insulation in my attic and he and his worker did an excellent job! Tom Porter made adding insulation an easy project which brought up the insulation to the new R-38 standard. From the beginning, setting up an appointment to the completion of the project, was accomplished without any flaws or concerns. It's great to be able to support a small business owner and have the complete job on-time with no unexpected add-ons and done in a professional manner unlike many of the national companies. Cost of the project was well below several of the other bids I had received.

Geo- Insulation was one of three quotes I collected before finalizing my project. I must say the quote and interview with Geo- Insulation was by far the most comprehensive. All options were discussed, as well as the benefits of each option. The quotes for each option were succinctly delineated without any pressure to select a particular one. Because the interview was so educational, I had no difficulty deciding which would best serve my needs. Geo- insulation was not the lowest quote, nor was it the highest; just the best. I say they were the best because Geo- Insulation flexed on scheduling ( day and time best for me); were extremely efficient with the insulation; and, Tom and Joshua cleaned up so well, the toasty warm home was the only clue that they been there. Geo-Insulation is an outstanding company with professional management and great personnel! From our initial contact through project completion, we were pleased with Tom’s prompt response and excellent communication. Tom arrived for our Saturday appointment on-time, assessed our insulation needs, and gave us a detailed and reasonable installation quote. Tom and Josh then came to our home Sunday morning to fix an attic wall where insulation was damaged by a plumbing contractor. This repair was extremely generous since we were not charged. I asked Tom back in 2018 for a quote to blow insulation in my attic. Well today was they day. Updated pricing to 2025, he and Josh got to my house around 10am and were done around 12pm. I can tell on the 45 degree day we are having our heat has not turned on yet. My house is already warmer on this cold day we are having. I look forward to the comfort in my home. We were looking for a reasonably priced, quick to install, no mess insulation service and we found it with Geo-Insulation. Tom handled all communication professionally, provided initial and updated quote within hours of the inspection. Installation itself took only couple hours for 1700sq ft attic with challenging access. I am extremely happy with their service. On top of that Tom made it very easy to process our CPS rebate. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Tom was very informative on the options we had for insulating our over 100 year old house. He gave a free estimate with several options we could do along with suggestions to which would have the most impact. We ended up going with R38 fiberglass for the attic. He was able to give us an appointment within a week for doing it. The insulation process was fairly quick at about 90 minutes with Tom and Josh. They cleaned up and were respectful of furniture and floorings. Would definitely use Tom and his services for our future insulation needs.

We recently hired Geo-Insulation to fix a small insulation issue we found when our roof was being repaired. I cannot praise this company enough! Before we found Geo-Insulation, my husband had called on many other companies for a quote. Some gave us extremely high quotes, some told us it wasn't an issue and not worth their time, and others didn't show up at all. We were defeated to say the least. When Tom from Geo-Insulation showed up, he was kind, communicative and very honest. He told us the damage was minimal but he would fix it, and he did it for FREE!!! The other quotes we had received were in the upwards amount of $700+.. insanely overpriced for minimal work. He was easy to schedule too, coming back out less than 2 days later to install the new insulation. Tom just completed a difficult insulation project for us in a very low pitched crawl space. He was able to lay more insulation than originally estimated and allowed us the option of adjusting the quote since we requested as much insulation as possible, always keeping us well informed about the options. Geo Insulation did an amazing job on my house. I went from less than 4 inches of Insulation to 22 inches. Tom was also great! I financed the project because I'm also getting windows and the financing process was a pain but Tom was great about it. I wish I would have just put it on a credit card to make it easier for him. He is courteous and respectful and always responds to my inquiries in a timely manner. He will give you the best advice that will fit your project. We had a lot of back and forth - the project took a while because I had a lot of questions as I wanted what’s best for my parent’s house, but he remained very patient and explained why some materials work and some do not, depending on what is suitable for your home. He will make you understand and does not give you the hard sell because he is confident in his workmanship. I found geo insulation based on their reviews. The owner, Tom Porter, was really easy to work with and had excellent communication throughout the entire process. You can tell he cares about educating his customers and doesn’t try to oversell. I had a bid from one other company and Tom beat it by thousands. It only took a week and a half for the entire process from the estimate to the install. I can’t express my appreciation for Tom and his expertise. You could feel the temperature difference in my home immediately once the job was done. A few hours later and my wife is no longer yelling at me about it being hot in the house.

We were very pleased with the service Tom from Geo-Insulation provided. We had thought we needed to pull out all the old insulation, but he told us it was not necessary due to the conditions in the attic. He could have tried to sell us on what we think we needed but saved us quite a bit by offering only what we needed. When they arrived, they put down floor protection and went to work. They worked pretty quietly and quickly and cleaned up after themselves when done. Additionally, they put an insulated, zipped barrier above the attic door for fuel efficiency and cleanliness. Very pleased.

Tom came by the house first and reviewed our current insulation where he explained his process and what we needed to help our house stay cooler in the summer and warmer in winter. The most impressive part is he actually explained we didn't need additional solar barrier only fresh fill and a few spots filled that were missed by the builders 20 years ago. Having owned this 1978 built house for 10 years, the rock wool insulation also from that year….. I said to myself, I can do this I can remove the old and replace with new insulation. The whole experience with Tom and his team was amazing from the consultation to the insulation removal/installation. Tom gave great insight into what to expect and the benefits of removing the old insulation, which we really wanted and what other companies weren't offering. The owner and his team did a wonderful job. From the beginning when I was getting a quote, the owner himself came out to my house to not only quote it out but education me on the process. My house was built in 1980 without changing out the insulation while pests in the attic in the past. I received a quote right away and then informed of the rebate from CPS. The team showed up on time when scheduled and completed the job in 2 days. It was a bigger job as they sucked all the old insulation out which I double checked after they left and they truly sucked ALL of the old stuff out. Now that the job is complete, I am very happy with the quality of product and workmanship. They had the proper machinery and great workers. 5 stars all around.

Our home was built in the 1950's with a very low pitch roof, so our attic barely qualifies as a crawl-space. Years ago, squirrels and rodents gained access and left a horrible mess to deal with. Other quotes we received to clean out the attic and install a nice, thick, cozy blanket of loose-fill fiberglass were MUCH higher, due to the difficulty of navigating the tight space.
