Very happy with the work Ruiz did for us (removal of old insulation, sealing, and blowing new cellulose up to R49). Of the 3 quotes we obtained from different companies, his was by far the most competitive (and without the pressure from the others - Atticman and Clark & Rush). Even going up to R49 to qualify for federal tax incentives was significantly less than the standard R38 from others (by almost 40%). When they had leftover materials at the end, without even any awareness / asking on my part, they revised the estimate to be even lower than the original - this sort of honesty is hard to find nowadays. Overall extremely happy with the care they took and the value of this technically difficult job and would highly recommend.

We called for a quote because we heard and saw good reviews. He came and peeked in the attic ( was all of 3 minutes maybe. ) and then said he'd give us a quote but ghosted us instead. Guess we weren't worth his time.

Not an honest company. We requested an estimate for insulation for attic and two rooms. The estimate we got was based on measurements much higher than the other company that gave us a quote (650 sq ft vs 450 for attic, and 400 sq ft vs 358 for walls). In fact his estimate of square footage on the walls was higher even though the other company included a third room in its measurement that Jose didnt include. We still were interested in using Jose because of his availability. We asked if he could double check his measurements on the day of the job because of the discrepancy. He got angry and canceled the work. It felt like an overreaction and not an honest or fair way to respond to a reasonable request to address a pretty large discrepancy in measurement. Be careful with this company. I recommend getting a second estimate if you get one from Jose.

Ruiz Insulation is a 5++. Jose was very responsive and he provided a reasonable estimate and timely scheduling. The workmanship was excellent. The access area was protected and it was left in perfect condition. Great contractor.

Jose Ruiz and his team were great at replacing our attic insulation. Responsive to my texts, was able to accommodate our schedule as well as other vendors, and finished the job as promised. He was also able to send photos as requested.

They sucked out all our old insulation and blew in fresh material. They were professional, self managed, never complained, did the job excellently and honestly…a tremendously honorable and reliable provider. Well worth the price. A true gem for this region and an example for other providers.

Guys showed up right on time. Professional, polite, helpful and truly great to work with. Insulation above garage was blown in and finished very quickly. I pointed out another issue and he gracefully fixed that for me. Take it from me, and I am in no way affiliated with this company nor have I ever used them, however, these guys were a great team and would recommend them to anyone for your insulation needs. I was acquiring about improving or adding insulation's into my attic to save on energy. I noticed that my attic is super hot in the summertime. Mr Ruiz was excellent. Even though, he had a busy schedule he made time to come out to inspect my attic. Rather than taking advantage of the situation. I contracted with Ruiz Insulation to add insulation to my attic. Jose Ruiz came by to measure and talk about what I wanted. Later that day he e-mailed the contract to me and we then talked to set the day for the work. Jose was on time to do the work with his brother and they finished in a timely manner. I liked the fact it's a small family run business and the sales person (Jose) was the same person who did the work. Their price was very competitive. I highly recommend Ruiz Insulation for your insulation needs.
