It sounded too good to be true. And it was. Rodents, Black Widows, and Gophers. I received the quote for the service along with the explanation of service. Scheduled the appt for Fri, 8-10am, and boom - on my way. I recevied a text from Marc about when he could come investiage the Gophers and I replied that I already had an appt on Fri at 8-10. No reply from him after that. So I called Orkin to ask if there would be 2 separate visits for the types of pests. Yes, the said, Marc will be coming Fri 8-10 alongside other pest control agent. Orkin agent showed up. He has no idea about the Gophers. He's rodents and spiders. Interior sprayer was broken so he has to come back later to finish inside. He finds no entry point. (How will we resolve the rodent issue if we cannot find entry point?!) He schedules a week later to assess what he's done and finish spraying the interior. Gopher guy never shows up. I call Orkin. I also ask if they can send someone for the rodents that can find the entry point. They say they'll have someone call me back about both. No one does. I call again. Re-explain. Get same response. No one calls me. I call again. Re-explain. Get same response. Except that they have alerted Mgrs and Mgrs will call me. No one calls me. That was yesterday. Will wait for OG pest control guy to return as he planned. But until then the rodents keep coming in and the gophers be gophering. I am cancelling this service and will be asking for my money back. You cannot speak to anyone except for someone at a call center. ----UPDATE---- They just replied to my review and asked me to call again. ha! After the amount I've called with nothing happening, why would I do that? You can tell there is no human service here. ----UPDATE---- Marc finally made contact, scheduled/arrived on the scene, followed up on all open items and was extremely helpful! Back on track and moving from 1 star to 3. Cautiously awaiting the balance of initial service. Thanks1

Excellent service and communication. Worth every penny. We had a roach problem. Key word being “had”. As well as black widows galore and any other seasonal bug you could think of. Now we’re not scared stepping into our garage

I was happy to see Ray Fraser come back as my Orkin tech! He’s been servicing my house for years and worked with my grandma before that. He truly provides great customer service and does great job communicating on what he serviced, if there was any activity and things to be aware of. Ray is very genuine and I usually feel more valued as a costumer when he comes by to do my service! To be honest after my last two visit before today, I was considering canceling my Orkin service I as a ran into a lot communication issues on scheduling and confusion with my house history with Orkin with the last few techs and a supervisor. However with Ray back, I feel more taken care of and I hope he continues to service my area or there’s more techs like him in the future! Thank you Ray and Orkin!

Excellent service. Justin always let's me know when he's on his way and that he's arrived. Always does a great job removing cob webs. Great service and never any sign of pests.

We have used ORKIN in the past and was willing to give them another try when I received a new offer. Our Service Technician was thorough and polite. He showed genuine respect for our animals as well. Most of our questions were answered by the technician. Since today was our first visit with ORKIN, I would like to reserve full judgement until we have been with ORKIN for a few months. This service does not include Rats and mice because the state of California deems it inhumane. REALLY!?! Thank you ORKIN for doing a good job today.

Orkin has incredible customer service. We’ve been with them for 5 years now with zero complaints. Any issues we have they take care of quickly . Recently Serena who has been servicing our property last several months has helped us with visitors in our attic . She’s come back several times for trap checks and entry points with no extra charge . Highly recommend.

So we called for a termite inspection, but the conversation came up that Orkin does general pest sprays more frequently - and for a better price - than our previous servicer. So we called an audible and changed servicers. The level of care and detailed information they gave us while they did their work was great, and I really got a sense that they care about the level of detail in their work. Obviously, our home stands to benefit. The service is off to a good start, looking forward to a continued relationship with Orkin. FYI, they spray monthly, but have a sort of "EZPay" option where they cut the monthly price in half and spray every other month instead. This is the option we're moving forward with.

We have used Orkin for a few years now and have been pleased with the service in Sacramento. Justin has been very respectful of our home and helps answer questions anytime when needed! So far no pest issues and having scheduled service keeps the bugs at bay.

My Orkin guy, Jason is the best. I started my service with him taking care of my property and then they took him away. But when I had a new issue arise that I really needed Orkin to address they sent my favorite Tech back out to service my property. I really think Orkin’s goal is to provide excellent service and so far they are proving that to me! Honestly most of the other techs that I have dealt with have all been very good too and if ever an issue, their customer service and management team is right on it!!

We had been overrun by scotchbroom and had it all dug out and removed. Since then we've been having flea infestation. Orkin did a fantastic job on our property. I have a cat and a dog and I see no fleas on either of them. I signed up for their plan to keep our property in check.

We’ve lived in Sacramento area for 40 years and have had two Pest control companies. We tried a new one in 2024 and we were very dissatisfied, the company doesn’t come out when you have an ongoing ANT instead, they try to fit you in with any upcoming appointments next day or beyond. Upon calling Orkin, they told us they do have same-day service when you have ants I jumped on the service immediately because Sacramento is built on one big anthill. We were very pleased With the service, they even took all the cobwebs off the eaves of the house and all around the house they cleaned up which our last company did not do. We really have a good service person very knowledgeable. Thank you, Orkin.

We are extremely satisfied with our Orkin service! Jason is very professional and thorough. We were getting a lot of spiders early on in the year and we just wanted the outside of the house sprayed with some cobb webs removed. Since Jason started coming out, this problem has been totally resolved. The service feels very customizable and I love that they will perform free touch-ups if you sign up for the quarterly services. If I could give more than 5 stars I would do it, the office staff was amazing with signing me up for my monthly service and shared a few laughs with the lady who was on the phone with me. Brett came to my home on time and went over all the details of my monthly service and all the products that he would be using. He was aware I had a baby and a pet at home and took the time to reassure me no harm would come to them. Brett went above and beyond in his job to provide his knowledge and skills. Very disappointed in the service. Good employees, everyone who showed up over the month was amazing. Michael, Serena and Justin are all amazing people. As for the office staff tho… difficult to talk to and rude is the nice way to put it. I’ve called 3 separate times to cancel my account and I was told all 3 times that the manager had to confirm my cancellation, got put on hold and then got told the manager wasn’t available so he would call me.. never got a call back. Now they’ve sent me a email confirming my new appointment. Technicians are amazing and friendly. Office staff not so much.

My Orkin man, Nick, was great. Methodically asked me what issues we’ve been having & discussed how to solve them and then proceeded to do his work very well.

Just signed up for their services. I saw them in the neighborhood doing other homes. All my neighbors were happy with their services. I met with Chris who does the service and he was very informative as to what I can expect from their services. I had my first spray application today and everything went great.

I just called Orkin to see if I can get a free estimate and the guy named Michael was super friendly and helpful but after he gave me the prices and I said I would have to talk it over with my boyfriend first, he asked if I could call my boyfriend while he waited on the line. I told him my boyfriend probably wouldn’t pick up and that I will call Michael back. Then he just hung up on me. Wow! What great customer service that was! I will NOT be calling Orkin back!

Great service and our technician, Gary, always goes above and beyond and is a very nice person. They guarantee their work and if you have any problems with pests/bugs in between they will come back out as many times as necessary to get rid of them. Gary is also very knowledgeable about pests and the chemicals used. etc. Quarterly pricing is good as well. Very happy with Orkin and the service provided. Have a new technician named Todd and he is also really good.

Fist visit was good before I paid little spray here in there the guy didn't wanted to spray unless everything was out of the cabinet I told him to come back 3 days later to be able to empty the cabinet out I did and I got a text saying he was at my house I was at the bathroom and I went downstairs the soonest I could and no one was there I call Orkings and I was told that he miss me and to re schedule for couple days later I ask to call me 30 minutes before any one shows up.....now my place is upside down and he can't come back. Bad service!!!!! Before I paid everything was done exelent they call me 30 minutes before Now that I paid the service is not soon good No call no nothing. And my house upside down.

My Orkin pro is just that, a pro! Tony is great, he recognizes and addresses new intruders - today he found ants that I didn’t know I had. He’s extra careful around my pets and keeps me informed of the options that are included with my plan (like fly catchers). Tony is pleasant and always seems happy to help. He gives a five star service every time!

Whenever I need extra service [wasps nest, mosquitos or rodent] Orkin technicians are back the very next day. Their professionalism is so refreshing and todays technician Jarrett (?) was on time. Today’s technician Jarret was amazing. It has been so hot lately. Today especially, it was 103 degrees. The bugs take that as their special invite to come inside. Jarret called the day before our scheduled time to let us know of our window. He also asked if there were any specific concerns we would like addressed. Day of our appointment, he came at the earlier part of our window which i appreciated, was very respectful in our home, and was very professional and knowledgeable. Very happy with thw swevice from our Orkin technician today.

I appreciate that technicians send personal reminders of upcoming appointments and ask for any specific issues we might want addressed during the visit. They are always courteous, professional and efficient. After today’s visit, Jordan provided me feedback on my concern of possible rodent activity and offered to return with the addition of a new product to further guard against rodents.

We hadn't had our 27 year old house checked for termites since it was built. I was concerned so I called Orkin. I was able to get an appointment for the following week and Mark came out to perform a free inspection. He was very thorough in that he checked the inside of our home the attic and the perimeter. I was happy to hear that he found no indication of any termites in our home. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He noticed that we didn't have any gutter guards on our garage gutters and living room. He advised that they do gutters so I agreed to have them installed. Valentine came out the following week and installed the gutter guards in a very short time by himself and did a fantastic job. He was very friendly and professional too. We were extremely pleased with the entire process with Orkin and we highly recommend them.

We are using the Orkin service for some time, and so far our overall experience was very good. The technicians are very friendly, courteous and professional. Our outside home, where the service is done, is always clean of spider nets and of course generally of bugs. We also got further advice here and there for example how to easily keep mosquitos away. Overall we are well informed in advance, which date and time the service is done with very few exceptions. If we thought something was not so ok, which rarely happened, a phone call was enough to clarify the situation.

Brian Virtue was excellent! He was very professional but also personable. He walked me through everything he was going to do and checked every nook and cranny for cracks and spaces bugs/rodents could get through. Would highly recommend this company as the entire experience from ordering their services to the service itself was exceptional!
