Gold Star Insulation

I’m writing this review while the Gold Star crew is finishing up one of my projects. This is as good of an outfit as you’ll find in construction. The office staff was super responsive - Jesse came out to visit the job site twice and addressed every concern and helped make the right insulation decisions when the project underwent a major siding upgrade. The crew of installers were polite and friendly; they fulfilled every request and were meticulous with their work. I also need to mention that the job site was left as clean as they found it. I am happy to have found an insulation pro that I can go back to on future projects. Five Gold Stars all the way.

Excellent service from the 1st phone call. They were right on time, professional and extremely polite. They cleaned up everything when they were done, and the best part is that I could tell a difference in the temperature in my house immediately!! I work remotely and normally my heater turns on and off all day but today my house has stayed at a steady temp and my heater has not come on for hours. On top of all that they had the best price in town.

No Call No Show - Stood me up on an estimate appointment after I had left work to meet them at my home. Called and they said they "were on an important job and forgot". 2nd local company to do this to me in the past week. Some times you just have to go with the big companies to get the job done...

Two excellent teams to complete the attic insulation. Julio, Arbeno,and Wilzon took out the old insulation. And Neptali and Isidro blown in the fiberglass insulation. Neptali is very helpful, meticulous and knowledgeable in making sure everything is properly sealed for the installation. Thank you for a job well done by both teams.

We were very satisfied with the professional and efficient services of Gold Star Insulation. The staff was courteous and careful from the removol process through the seal, santize and blowing of the new insulation. They put dropcloths everywhere to protect our floors, and they cleaned up everything very well. The removal crew alerted us to a roof leak, which we fixed prior to the installation of the new insulation. We highly recommend their service.

Jose and Angel were very professional and did a great job on our yoga studio, Yoga Creatives, in Granite Bay. They communicated the plan and performed excellent work. Highly recommend these guys!!

I told the Gold Star estimator that I wanted insulation in between the walls of my home and the unit over because there wasn't any insulation. The insulator checked the wrong walls for insulation and spoke to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. He looked in the sockets that were on the exterior of the house. I then proved to him there was no insulation in one of the back bedroom walls and I also told him that there was no insulation in the garage. He ignored me completely and left. I called Clear Efficiency, and they found that there was no insulation in the walls and I signed a contract with them in less than an hour. I guess my home wasn't good enough for Gold Star to do business with because only part of my home needed insulation.

No return call.

Rob dealt very openly and honestly with me, even when he didn't make a penny off of me. I would highly recommend him and this business for their integrity and helpfulness.

Wonderful and Efficient!

These guys were great. Showed up on time, worked quickly and did a great job(the inspector agreed!).

Their equipment is excessively loud - three houses away from their location and the noise level is interrupting calls while working from home.

Gold Star added R-38 blown-in insulation over the ceiling in my garage/shop. It took them only one hour and they left the site clean. Very professional, and we noticed the difference immediately. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

This company did not put insulation in my home but one of their very kind employees helped me load my car up to this morning in The Home Depot parking lot. I waa struggling with pkywood sheets and he was so kind on a very frustrating morning in the middle of a horrible home improvement project. He really was what I needed this morning as far as being reminded of kindness in the world and I really appreciate it. Wonderful employee.

Just almost got hit by one of their drivers in Elk Grove. Guy saw me waiting to cross the street, he hadn’t even made it to the stop sign yet so I started to cross (ya know assuming he’d stop) and he completely ran the stop and just kept going. Keep in mind, I’m pushing a stroller and this is a neighborhood with Both a preschool and an elementary school. Unacceptable that you hire drivers who do not obey the simplest of traffic laws. I would hate to see how this man drives outside of a residential neighborhood.

totally unprofessional. they drove on my grass. they threw their cigarette in my lawn. they left nails in the drive way!....and they didnt even blow in insulation, they just sucked it out. They were trying to scam the HVAC company that i hired and they contracted out with. DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY
