This company answered right away, came out to provide estimate the same day. They explained every step of the process and how/why they were doing it. They were willing to work around a separate company’s schedule in order to get an hvac system installed. Then come back to add the insulation. They were great with communication, even text me the day before the appt to remind me and give me an eta for a start time.

I’m going to start off by saying that I am a very particular person when it comes to trade work, because I am a contractor myself. I have an older home without wall insulation, and the route I wanted to go was blown in insulation from inside. When Manuel first came to give me a quote, I noticed he put on foot coverings to protect my floors and keep them clean. This foreshadowed that he cares about his customers and not just getting the job done. His crew was no different. The first thing they did was lay down cloth tarps and set up plastic sheeting to zone off the work area from the rest of the rooms. It was a very smooth process throughout; they dusted and made sure to vacuum up the debris they made. I’m very pleased with the result and would highly consider them for future projects.

Met with Manuel, he quoted me a good price for removal, repair of rodent entry discovered and installation of new insulation. He arrived on time and provided photos after estimation of job. On the scheduled day, Marcelino and Carlos arrived on time and started working right away. All were friendly and professional and cleaned up everything both days they worked the job. I recommend this business because of the ease it took to get it competed, no effort at all on my part calling them or texting them. Everything was communicated beautifully. Great Job!!! And the price was good!

The owner came out and got into the attic, we looked around the house pointing out the eve vents. When his crew showed up they didn’t speak good English, had to use translator for part of our conversations. They dragged their hose through my planter and also broke a ceramic garden animal in the same planter. The owner recommended cellulose and shoots it in dry. I have a whole house fan and left it off for two weeks to give the cellulose a chance to settle but when I turn it on the cellulose comes out of the gable vents that I can see raining down in the yard. I can no longer use my whole house fan because of that issue until I get somebody out to take a look and remedy the issue. The owner and the guys were nice and worked hard but I don’t think the insulation should be blowing out of the gable vents. I will never put cellulose in any attic after this experience.

You can't go wrong with DS Insulation. I was given a quote In the range with a few other providers. But the quote was for a higher insulation factor than the others which I thought added value and would work to my advantage considering the hot summers we have in Sacramento. I'm amazed at how much cooler my house is now. We open our windows every night and close the cool air in in the morning. Since the attic was done by DS, my air conditioner won't come on until hours after it normally would. The work was top notch and the guys are very professional. While removing bags of old insulation, the guys must have hit my Nest thermostat and unseated it from it's base. After calling the owner in the evening, he was out the very next morning. He quickly figured out the problem (I thought it was an attic wiring issue) and got me up and running. I can't say enough about these guys. The price was in line with the 2 other quotes I got and the work was outstanding!

Efficient company well priced his team did a great job very happy with the service. They were able to clean out my old insulation and put in new insulation and seal all the gaps. I’d give them 10 stars if I could! We needed our insulation taken out—they identified some rodent problems and we had our pest guy come and it was an old problem! They sucked it out, then treated it and then added new insulation. The whole thing took a week and they were here for two days (one day to take it out, a couple of hours to put it back in). Amazingly nice guys—showed me pictures of how clean it was before and after. Highly recommend!

They did an excellent job yesterday !!! Fast and very clean, taking before and after photos, placing rulers to show how many inches, and they leveled the insulation to the edges of the attic.

Manuel’s team did a great job! It took one day to get the old insulation out and a half day to put in the new insulation. There were very efficient and cleaned up nicely after their work was done. My attic is nice, clean, and ready for the summer heat.

DS Insulation Services did an excellent job removing my 30 year old cellulose insulation, sealing off all entry points for pests, sanitizing the attic where appropriate, and blowing in new fiberglass insulation. My primary contact was Manuel Montejo, who examined my attic to determine the scope of the work and submitted an estimate within hours of my call. He and his team showed up 15 minutes before the agreed upon starting time, quietly and very respectfully did the work. I am extremely pleased with the work and their very reasonable prices. We found DS Insulation Corp on Yelp rated really high and so took a chance with them. Manuel returned my call within ten minutes and came over to see my crawl space to give me a quote. Manuel gave us two quotes, one for standard insulation and one for a higher rated insulation. The quotes were reasonable. This happened on Saturday and on Wednesday they came and did the job and we're so happy with their work. Our home and floors are not freezing cold anymore. Throughout this process, Manuel was very communicative, professional, and just a nice guy! His guys were professional, left the place tidy and did a great job. I highly recommend this company. Manuel came recommended to me by a friend. He arrived promptly at our appointment time. He went to both my attics. After his assessment, he said that my insulation was thick enough and that I didn’t need anymore. And that the attic was clean with no issues with rodents/pest damage. I loved his honesty. He could have easily told me I needed unnecessary insulation but he was honest and straightforward. Highly recommended!

Decided it was time to replace the old insulation. Got an estimate from a larger company to clean out the attic, seal holes and gaps (and remove and old antenna that was up there for some reason) and spray in new (R38) fiberglass insulation. It was over 3x the estimate from DS to do essentially the same work. Very pleased with our decision to go with DS. Affordable, efficient, and professional service. It was an overall positive experience. Highly recommend.

I am working on a 100 year old home in downtown Sacramento. I had about 5 bids and he was the lowest. The owner was very helpful with my project. After the work was completed he came out on the day of the city inspection to make sure everything went fine. There were no issues with the inspection and it passed. More importantly I paid him with a check and I had a few hundred dollar bills laying around and wanted to get rid of them. Since they were so new I over paid him by $100 since they were sticking together so closely. He was honest enough to correct me!!! It is good to see a honest contractor with integrity that is still around. They are far and few between these days.

We found DS Insulation Corp to be an honest firm with talented staff. We hired them initially to do attic insulation and assess a water leak from the ceiling. They discovered my water leak was from a cracked bathtub that was leaking onto the floor. Manuel and his crew immediately went to work to stop the leak and replaced the tub and wet drywall over a holiday weekend. They also repainted the wall. Fantastic job. Excellent work. Work performed was excellent. Old insulation removed which had been exposed to rodents and the area sprayed down with disinfectant. The holes patched up to help prevent future rodent problems. The work area was kept clean which was very much appreciated.

I am very happy With Manuel and his team, they cleaned the insulation in my attic which was more than 20 years old and replaced it with blown insulation, and they also sealed all the holes where rats entered. It was truly worth every penny paid.
