My wife and I had a great experience with the Atticman team. Randall the team manager and our consultant along with Fabian, Jesus, and Limver did a quick and professional installation They were courteous and a pleasure to have them in our home to install our brand new HVAC system

Isaiah was great. He was professional, knowledgeable, and happy to share knowledge. He was also very thorough, and he explained well what he found and suggested things that would help me.

Noah and Angle were awsome. They represent the company to a very high level. We will use this company again becuase their dedication to their craft but most importantly for the great people they are.

I was very impressed with the whole team who installed new ductwork in my house. Thomas was great presenting his observations and gave clear recommendations of what needed to be done. He answered all my questions and tried to get me the best deal. I never felt any pressure during his presentation. Three installers, Gerald, Noah B, and Galen, were always here on time, worked wonderfully as a team, and provided excellent customer service. Thomas came on the third day to make sure everything went well and reassured me that if I had any questions or concerns to contact the office. The workers found that they needed to order a different intake vent cover. When it arrived, I was promptly notified and two workers were sent to install it. Cody or Coby (sp?) and Michael arrived promptly and installed the cover, answering all my questions. They were very knowledgeable and provided wonderful customer service. It's so nice to see young workers like them who take pride in what they do to help customers. I would definitely use Atticman again!

Darryl was great! He was polite and respectful to myself and property. He was acknowledge of the work he was doing and reassured me everything would be fine. He checked all aspects of ny system inside and outside preparing for the city inspection. Be quickly assessed an issue that may have caused my system to not pass. He didn't hesitate to make the fixes. My system was installed almost a year ago. I was losing faith and questioning if I made the right decision to use Atticman for such a huge job that still needed follow up almost a year later. Darryl was able to reassure me I had made the right choice. Thanks for having confident, quality, technicians that work with excellence.

Articman did a great job installing a dual zone split unit for me. It was quite a bit more than I thought it would cost but you pay for quality work. Kobe and Caleb did extremely quality work. Very clean installation, they frequently checked with me on the layout and installation. They were extremely polite and easy to talk to. Great clean up and prep work as well.

The first guy who came out was very thorough and informative. A lot of good information.the installers were very professional and worked hard. Big job done in 2 days. Two new heaters and one new AC unit.

Just had David of Attic Man out here for the six month service of a new install of HVAC. He was knowledgeable and efficient and pleasant to work with. Would have no issue having him back.

We initially had Atticman come out to try and repair our system. Unfortunately our system was old and was determined it needed to be replaced. We needed a quote for a new system due to selling the condo. While the tech was here, we spoke to a supervisor of some sort and he gave us a wide price range. We asked for a quote. Days have gone by and still nothing. Thankfully another company came out, gave us a great price and was done the next day.

Service tech Kris was excellent. He checked out questions we have about the new systems working conditions and all the tests showed the system is working well. He offered a couple of suggestions to possibly help the furnace heat up the rooms better, which we will try. Thanks Kris and the guys on the other end of his phone conversation.

Purchasing a new HVAC system is expensive and even more nerve wracking. You hear stories about people being taken advantage of and never want to end up being one of them. We had 5 different companies in total come and give us a quote. Atticman was the last one to come. From the initial phone call with Stan to set up the appointment to the final inspection with Darryl we have experienced nothing less than superior customer service. Just booking the appointment with Stan he took the time to explain a few things to me that no other company had explained. Mike with sales came out and made sure that we completely understood what we were purchasing. He took the time to show and explain a complete breakdown of how an HVAC system works. He never once showed us Atticman brochures that were full of fluff but actual data and diagrams from various HVAC manufacturers. Mike helped guide us in making the decision of what system we wanted instead of preaching a top dollar system. We are forever grateful for all of your help with this process and for taking care of our family.

My heater went out just as the temperature started to drop. Atticman was out promptly and made every effort to give me the most for my budget. They thought of and included things not mentioned by the first company that gave me a higher quote and completed the whole installationofanewHVAC system the very next day!. Update 1/13/26: Had our first service today due to some rescheduling issues. Kris was the consummate professional. Still highly recommend Atticman Heating and Air Conditioning! After getting bids from 6 different companies for a new HVAC system, we chose Atticman Heating & Air. Big thanks to Zak and the entire crew for the installation. What stood out from the very beginning was their professionalism and genuine courtesy. Every single person on the team was polite, respectful of our space, and worked to get the job done (it was a really long day for them). What really cemented our 5-star rating was how they handled a small mishap. They accidentally scratched some paint off our front door while moving equipment – honestly, it wasn't a major issue for us. However, Zak insisted on making it perfect. He went completely above and beyond: not only did he paint the scratch they made, but also took the extra time to touch up other older scuffs and scratches that were already on the door! This level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction is truly exceptional and rare. It was a pleasure having them in our home. Service was explained well with reasonable expectations. The work schedule was scheduled to work with my days off due to the holidays which made it very easy for me to be present throughout all the work being done at my home. All the service was done within the time set up by Atticman and all personnel working were polite, quick and very open to questions and explanations. I was very pleased with all the work being explained, speed it was done and especially the cleanliness they left after being done with the work for each day they were on my property. The staff was very friendly and professional, he said he would go back to his office at the end of the day and see if they had the failed pressure switches. He also said he would let us know if he did not and needed to order them. He was supposed to contact us and schedule his return to complete the repairs, but has not. This was the third time the new system your company provided and installed. We still need it fixed correctly.

Entire process went very smoothly. Price for new AC and furnace was high but everything went smoothly as possible. No surprises and installation crew was very professional and final installation was flawless and works great.

Logan and the company are fantastic. Our heater broke and they came out within one day and fixed it for minimal cost. Very fair, honest, and trustworthy. We recently switched from a large company that was overcharging us, upselling, and had inexperienced techs. The difference with Atticman was amazing. I give them my highest recommendation.

Thomas was such a pleasure to work with. After diagnosing my heating unit, he explained everything, step-by-step, that needed to be done to get it functioning once again. He showed me several photos of my unit in the attic that included corrosion (rusting) from vapor leakage over the 26 years it had been working. These units are expected to work only 20 years. I now have heat in my home once again and have opted to go for further upgrading to secure continuing functioning of my outdated unit. Thank you, Atticman, and especially… Thomas 🙂

Had the pleasure of being helped by Robert and then Thomas over the last year - both great guys who did excellent work with honesty and transparency. Back in September Robert came and did an inspection along with helping troubleshoot a couple of issues and also did a systems diagnostics with a preventative-maintenance fix. The Mrs and I were relieved and happy with his good quality service: thoughtful and honest, explaining the issues with lay-man's technical terms, no-nonsense, transparent without overselling. Fast forward today after an unexpected minor issue (blown fuse on thermostat), company sent Thomas within a day - he came over and fixed it quickly. More importantly, it was again the same great service - thoughtful and honest, explaining the issues with lay-man's technical terms, no-nonsense, transparent without overselling. I don't know much about these systems but he was honest about the simple fix he did and didn't charge me as i was a member. Happy with these guys so far. My system is old - i know its gonna need an upgrade at some point but feel a bit happier knowing these guys will be the folks i trust when anything major comes up in future.

Great services for HVAC system, heat works great. We may have to wait till Summer for AC to run. But Atticman's great services will help us to get through this hard winter time and many more years to come.

Excellent service, the A/C runs a lot in the evening without shutting down, unlike the previous unit we had. Otherwise we love our Train and the e WiFi thermostat works so much better that the other thermostat originally installed with our new unit. The county had never come out for our final inspection and I had asked AtticMan about that each and every time I have called. So I called the county on Monday, here six months later to see when. Could have a county inspection. They scheduled it for the next day, Tuesday at 11:30. When the inspector arrived, he wanted to know where the installer was as they are supposed to meet the inspector on location and set up the ladder access. I got my ladder and set it up and opened the access hatch. Then resealed it and vacuumed the insulation off the floor, all of which is the installer’s responsibility! Fortunately, I am not bedfast as I previously was for 7 months. But I would expect better service for the county inspection. Also, the inspector arrived locked in the packet of papers left for him and the PERMIT is missing. So I expect ATTICMAN to obtain a final permit for our records.

Tech Thomas was educational and informative - not salesy at all. He gave a couple different options to get my heater functional and let me decide the best path forward without any pressure. I will work with Thomas and Atticman again in the future.

I knew that my AC and heating weren’t working, so I wasn’t exactly looking forward to hearing the diagnoses. Thomas was personable and easy to talk to. He explained the situation - that the two systems were really old (circa 1999) and gave me options to think about: to do some patch/band aid or to replace. He even drew a diagram to explain. When I said I’d do the replace, he called the office to find someone who could talk about the systems that very day. I like that it’s a local company, and I’m glad I ended up making the appointment.

The tech (Logan) who came to look at our old HVAC was very knowledgeable and helpful. He and his supervisor (John) provided us information on how to proceed next. We ended up replacing our 28 year old unit. Manny and his crew performed the unit and duct install over two days. They were professional and very efficient. They cleaned up any mess and didn't leave any debris. They answered any questions we had. We were very happy with our experience and will gladly recommend them. Thanks.

Getting them to come out to service a unit is nearly impossible. I posted last winter about them rescheduling multiple times (once literally at the time they were expected to show up at our house). We work too and have to move our schedules around to be available. Now it's time for another tune up and our system isn't even working properly and they tried to reschedule on us twice now. The second time my husband had to put his foot down since our system was acting up. We had problems early on with the system too, now both with the AC and the heat. It's barely over 3 years old. **update: we cannot use our system because the motor and modulator are shot on a barely 3 year old unit. The technician was very nice, but now we are potentially facing no heat for the holidays this next week because of their delays in showing up as scheduled. People get sick. I understand that. When this happens SIX times and with a last minute notification, that is unacceptable service. We have now gone without AC and heat now with this company for multiple days and we put in this brand new unit in 2022. **update 12/2: I appreciate the owner’s response, but they need to understand that repeated cancellations have delayed servicing and checking on our unit which put us even further down the list of backordered parts/extended our timeline for fixing a broken 3 year old system. I get that receiving parts from the manufacturer is something that cannot be controlled, but after repeated cancellations in the 3 years we have done business with this company, it’s incredibly unsatisfactory. We are on our 11th day without heat with lows in the 30s and 40s this week. It creates the perception that they are quick to prioritizing putting in new systems when they can make a buck, but once you have a system, good luck getting it serviced, fixed, or having a warranty honored when there’s no profit in it. Perhaps they aren’t tracking how often they cancel on specific customers, but I highly suggest they take that into account and also the timeline of when cancellations happen. I understand this is hard work and likely a great deal of turnover with employees. Things happen, but if someone calls out sick or something happens, why are we learning this at 4pm right before our appointment that was already moved multiple times? It creates a lack of trust in your clientele and begs the question of how early an appt needs to be scheduled ahead of needing it, knowing that it’s extremely likely we will be cancelled on.

This was a wonderful experience. I was having a bad day and was grumpy and tired. The representative could not have been more pleasant! He was so kind! We got the estimate and I am ready to move forward, because of his tolerance of me that day.

Great service. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. And on time! He let me know that a part on my furnace was beginning to wear out, but that if I replaced it now it was still partially covered under the manufacturer's 10-year warranty. (My system is 9 years old.) If I waited, I would have to pay the full price. Saved me some money.

A different hvac company told me that a component of my hvac is broken and needs replacement. When John checked my system, it was the wiring connections that was done incorrectly and it was easily fixed!

Kyle the salesman"whom I must say takes a non-aggressive, non pushy approach"promised me everything would be installed properly including adding more or enlarging my return air ducts to my home something even my 27 year old system needed so that way they don't have call backs. Manuel and his crew came out and did excellent work with high attention to detail. I verified this as I spent much time in my attic checking their work after they finished. The next day after install, Jorge and his coworker came out and spent many hours again doing a meticulous blow-in insulation job. There's not a single thing that was promised that wasn't delivered upon. I had many bids done and every company had something bad to say about the others, despite this Atticman had promised the most things for the best price and I have ZERO regrets besides waiting so long to have a new unit installed. One last thing, very good housekeeping/ site cleanup.

Got a great quote from the service manager who came out to look at the system and give me a proposal price. Pricing was significantly lower than a first bid I had received so I went with Atticman. The 3 guys who showed up to do the install, completed the job in one day, took away all the parts they removed and left everything clean and tidy. The technician that showed up a few days later to install a broken attic fan switch also did a very efficient job, showed up timely and got the job done quickly. All the workers were pleasant, polite and respectful. Top marks to this HVAC company.

Originally they were going to do a two day job. The heating and air one day then the water heater. They came and showed up and did the both jobs. The waterheater was installed by an apprentice. Was not happy with the job it was not cleaned and the drywall was not finished. Still waiting for them to redo the job . The crew worked hard, they need to d I a better clean up. Shop vac all the dust and wipe out the pan before they would I f installed it

We took advantage of their no payments no interest for 18 months are were pleasantly pleased with our new AC and heat pump installation. Amazing customer service from their home office but especially from their installations manager Randal Altman. Randal has excellent communication / listening skills, attention to detail, follow, etc. Highly recommend them. I had Atticman come out for a complimentary tune up on my furnace, in addition to getting an estimate on ductwork and insulation. David was extremely thorough, knowledgable and friendly. I felt confident upon his departure and look forward to using them in the future!

Our 30 year old air conditioner had served us well but was very tired. Taking longer to cool the house with energy consumption ticking up so we decided to weigh our options. We did our research, talked to a few friends and neighbors, read online reviews, and one of the first companies we contacted was Atticman. From the moment we called, we were well taken care of. We first met Thomas when he arrived for the consult. Despite it being late in the day and well over 100 degrees, he took the time to thoroughly examine our system. We had a lot of questions, and he answered all of them. Thomas reviewed the basics of HVAC to help us to understand what was working-and what wasn’t. He showed us the problems in our system. He reviewed our options and gave the advantages and disadvantages of each. He was easy to talk with and down to earth. Based on his analysis, we had the option of repair, but given the age of our system, and the number of repairs, we decided it was best to replace it go with a new system. We specifically wanted a heat pump for energy efficiency and to utilize the available rebates. Atticman is also one of the contractors recommended by SMUD. We had friends that recommended other companies, and their systems were competitive in price, but given the level of service and the reviews compatible with our experience, we opted to go with Atticman. You learn a lot about a company when something doesn’t go to plan. We ran into some problems with the installation, and this is where their level of service sets them apart from other companies. The integrity of this company was reflected in their approach to solving the problem. When faced with a problem, they seemed to take it as a team challenge to solve it. Their response was prompt, they worked to identify the problem and kept us informed on their findings and plan. With that, they were also mindful to the installation taking a little longer, worked with our schedule and were quick to offer and set up a portable air conditioner for us to keep us comfortable. I had my final inspection with the county on the HVAC system that AtticMan installed recently. The entire experience was so simple. My tech, Darryl, showed up early to verify all work was done perfectly. The inspection showed up looked at the unit, signed off and was gone. Darryl installed 2 smoke detectors, and tidied up a couple of things. He was very professional and very helpful.

Michael from Atticman came to our home for a service call. He is very knowledgeable and thorough explains the details with kindness and care. I called them because I was smelling a musty smell I thought was produced by the system. I also thought it might be in my head, but he checked everything and measured velocity flow and other technical stuff. He went under our house into the crawl space and into the attic to check the drainage and duct work. He took pictures to show us his findings. He found major leaks in our pipes that were unrelated to our HVAC. He spent so much time and patience with us that we couldn’t be more appreciative of his work. Atticman provided outstanding service from start to finish. The technician was knowledgeable, courteous, and made sure I understood exactly what was being done. Everything was completed on schedule, the pricing was straightforward, and the work quality was excellent. They left the space cleaner than when they arrived, which I really appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others.

We were dumb homeowners, and neglected the maintenance of our central split unit. For over a year, due to various reasons. Despite that, The whole crew at AtticMan were friendly, Respectful, and understanding of what led to us needing our unit replaced. They have a lender they work with who funded us even though our situation the past year dropped our credit score significantly. They worked within the confines of what we could afford, and we appreciated the quick turn around time, especially with a house that easily gets to 90 degrees when it’s only 80 out. We have a split unit, and there was a wire that got crossed when the installation happened. AtticMan was out the same day I called, (after I did my own troubleshooting to make sure it wasn’t me messing up settings) and had the whole thing fixed within a few hours. Since then, the system has been working perfectly. It’s so quiet, if it wasn’t for the cold air blowing on me, I wouldn’t know it was running. Even the outside condenser is much quieter than our old one. We’re extremely pleased with the installation and follow up service we have had. We will be sure to continue the monthly payments for the maintenance plan (which is extremely affordable by the way, at $10 per month) to ensure this system stays up and running at peak capacity. We’ll never neglect the maintenance of our system again! I’d give shout outs to all the service techs, but to be honest, I feel like they all did so well, and obviously liked what they do, that it’s obvious hiring at AtticMan is done for the right reasons, and not just to fill a spot.

After 7 years of dealing with the same issue of my AC freezing and I finally swtich to Atticman, they found issues that the previous AC has never found. Michael’s attention to details and expertise, made a huge DIFFERENCE. I highly recommend Atticman. They placed a compressor saver too. I will be able to compare my electric bill from previous months. They claimed it will help it from overamping the compressor. They are honest and credible people.

Was assigned the technician David. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and considerate, of my time. He provided me detailed and concise information in regards to my ac unit/ furnace and probable next steps. He wasn’t pushy but informative. I appreciated his great service. I look forward to continuing to utilize Atticman and I’m hopeful David will always be the tech sent out to provide the service to my home.

I cannot say enough about this company from beginning to end. First of all we were responded to immediately! On a holiday!! They were so very quick with responding and were genuinely concerned. Jose, The tech that came out was on time with a text and pic to let us know he was on his way. He inspected the air conditioner while respecting our home, shoe covers, drop cloths etc. A supervisor John later joined him and Jose and gave us the information with several options explaining everything in detail. We optioned for a new unit because ours was over 20 years old and was costing us to keep up. The next step was when, how long and most important how much. The good part after a few conversations between John and dispatch they came the very next day and it was installed completely that day!! I know I couldn’t believe it either! Noah, Angel, and Jason got right to work with same diligence as Jose did the previous day! The we’re very friendly and considerate at all times. I cannot say enough about the young men and their ethics from this company! They were later joined by a supervisor Mike and he also proved to be a great asset. The best experience for an awful situation!! No air on a hot holiday!! Another great thing about this company is the price was very fair! I didn’t check with other companies but asked several people that had theirs replaced recently and I KNOW we got it at a great price!!!

We have been putting off adding insulation to our house and finally decided to get it done. David was our salesperson and seemed very professional and honest. We had Jorge and Luis do the project and they were also very courteous and professional. It was a hot day so they must have been burning up in the attic but they cranked it out. Built frames for our whole house fan and access point and sealed all the ducts and can lights. They remained cheerful and finished it in one day. We have two systems and couldn’t keep the temp down in our family room and kitchen. Problem solved. Now the whole house remains cool. I’m sure this will decrease our heating and cooling costs. Overall pretty great experience. Flexible on price. Quick to schedule it. Got it done quick. Came back when I had an issue. Got no complaints. Would recommend them and would use them again. I like how much they communicate and let you know when you have an up coming appointment or when they are on there way over for everything.

After getting 3 bids I decided to go with Atticman. They weren’t the cheapest but I felt I was getting the most value. The install went great, everyone was polite and respectful and worked very hard. I’ve actually never seen a team put in this kind of effort to complete a job in my life. They truly deserve all the credit!! The sale man an the workers are excellent. Especially the workers they worked their butts off too get my knew Hvac. They kept everything clean an cleaned up very well after themselves. They also did very well dealing with my dogs. I have a young petty malamute/ husky that loves to play an she tried her best bus decided to talk to the worker most of the. I apologize for that one. They were excellent with her though. First Tim I've seen crane do something like that too. But it was fast an very quick to swing the new in an the old out. But like I said these guys are very hard workers an cares alot about their clients.

I did some shopping around and went with this company cause of their sales consultant Greg. I’m glad I went with my guy and trusted him. They did EXACTLY what they said they would do, EXACTLY in the time frame he promised, and the price remained EXACTLY what I was quoted in the beginning. He helped me make sure it worked with my budget and encouraged me to try and get better rates which I did and they were better. I explored financing options through my personal credit union and they had better financing rates as well. I would 10/10 recommend this company! The team was ultra friendly and professional. Jorge and Luis helped with the insulation in my house and they were super friendly, I have a small dog who barks at people in the window non stop, I went out and asked them if they could stop what they were doing to come in and pet my dog to let him know they were friendly and to help train that people don’t always leave if he barks and they dropped what they were doing and came in and calmed my dog down some and gave him belly rubs. I’ve been traumatized by roofers and electricians in the last year and was super gun shy to do any home repairs at all, but they exceeded all expectations! Thank you Attic Man!

Had an amazing assessment with Fidel. He was very thorough and informative. Upfront with the cost and expenses. Felt good about my decision and that I was getting a great quality service. Update: They were so quick installing it and I had the comfort and gave them permission to take care of it while I was at work. HUGE relief. I'm so happy with the service and communication of the company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Update on July 17th: Have been so thankful to have Atticman taking care of my home. They are attentive, punctual, and patient. After getting HERS testing, I had to have the county come and make sure everything was up to code. Daryl made sure the extra long ladder was ready, and waited patiently for the inspector to arrive. He had great communication and was so kind.

The installation of my HVAC and all new ducting to my 1954-built home today was done with teamwork, better than anything I've ever seen. The installers were professional, on time, polite, and patient when teaching me how to use my WiFi thermostat. They worked with other teams involved with my project, the crane operator, and the debris pick-up company of old HVAC and ductwork. The team from Atticman helped them, too, without hesitation. I was truly impressed with seeing the work ethic of Atticman employees.

They did an excellent job and I'm thrilled. The fan is definitely quieter and air movement is more powerful than my previous unit. So glad I decided to upgrade. 7/7 --- Alejandro and Jorge are a great team!! They upgraded my attic insulation and from the photos they showed me it looks fantastic. Both of them worked very hard, are super friendly and were very respectful of property --- protected and cleaned up everything. They get an A++ in my books. If I ever need work like this again would definitely ask for them to be on my team.

Recently I thought my two-year old system was malfunctioning. I called Atticman who had installed the system. Turned out, I was operating the system incorrectly. Atticman installed a sophisticated system that automatically adjusts for temperature changes. The serviceman downloaded the app that connected to my system. Now I can turn on my system remotely to cool down the house before I arrive. I am absolutely satisfied with Atticman. David was by far the most amazing and pleasant quote personnel I have worked with. No where along the way did we feel he was trying to sell us. He throughly listed to our needs, evaluated our attic, home size, A/C unit, duct work and gave a very comprehensive yet easy to understand assessment and options. We've had a couple of installations of mini splits by Atticman crews. Both crews did their jobs professionally, courteously, and with care for our property. In both installations everything turned out very nice. Everything that is exposed was installed well and looks very professional. So let us start in how we came to find the attic man. 8 months ago my wife and I were pondering getting a new heat pump as ours was 22 years old, not that it was not working but did not want to get caught in middle of summer in need of one. Called to get a appt and me being a little older was not prepared for AI and got frustrated with making a appt so I put it off. But I kept getting emails and texts every so often and seeing adds and had a good rating from SMUD. So again I tried to make a appt a week ago and again me being older was a little frustrated with AI, but this time I guess someone decided to actually get back to me in a phone call and a appt was set to get a est. So two days later Mike arrived to give an estimate, I already had two estimates from other companies so I kinda of knew about what it was going to cost. Mike spent about 2 hours going over everything and answering all of my questions. His prices my was the best and even with adding a whole house fan it was still cheaper than the other people’s prices. Gave a small deposit and set a install date for 5 days later. Thought it would take two days but Manny and his install crew came in and did a professional job in one day. They were all respectful and explained everything they did and how to operate. Only being one day since install everything is all good. So from my wife and I we would like to thank Mike for spending time with giving the estimate and Manny and his crew for the install and attic man for doing a great job on getting our needs taken care of. They added a second airflow return in the ceiling, which came out perfect. After completing their installation, their cleanu up was meticulous. Good service and good sales. Mike came out, did a nice job on the quote, reaffirmed the installation, since it was a tricky electrical (came twice). Kobe and his guys came out, took their time, asked relevant questions and installed it correctly. We are very satisfied. Nice work. Just a quick update to my post, Atticman (same work crew) came back the following week to install a brand new A/C/Furnace matched combo in my home. The existing one was over 20 years old and it was slowly and inevitably dying. Preventative maintenance always costs less in the long run, trust me, you get to do it at your time and choosing, rather than waiting for something to die. All that said, Atticman did an exceptional job, as I said above, they took their time, walked through the install thoroughly and with this being my second project with Atticman, my entire home, ADU included has been completely redone. Atticman came in at a good cost (for both projects), excellent installation techs and just overall good guys, they are very quick to help, make sure I am happy and that they present a customer friendly attitude. I don't write a ton of reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience, since these guys were great. Oh, and everything passed city inspection the FIRST and ONLY time. Inspector told me that Atticman does it right the first time and he loves their installs. I absolutely recommend them to prospective buyers of HVAC equipment.

I recently had a new heating and air system installed and got five bids from local companies here in Sacramento before deciding who to go with. Atticman wasn’t the cheapest, but they also weren’t the most expensive. After doing my research, I felt confident choosing them. They’re locally owned and family operated, which was important to me, and I got the sense they truly care about doing quality work. The installation went really smoothly. The crew was professional, respectful, and efficient. My system is working great and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. I’m really glad I chose Atticman and would absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

More happy than I can even express. JT came out for a simple tune up and quickly discovered our system was hazardous and putting us in danger. Instead of alarming us, he investigated throughly and asked if he could call out his supervisor to check over a few issues. Fidel showed up and confirmed that our old unit was overheating and worse; he walked us through every step and could answer even complex questions easily. They knew it was supposed to be a cold week and we have young kids, they got us booked with the install team asap. Atticman has seperate departments and it was amazing how well everything flowed together. First day: Jorge and his crew Fabian, Luis, and Jay removed all old insulation, sanitized and started to air seal the attic. Second/Third day: Edgar ran the installation of the actual hvac unit and ducts. Each member of the installation crew knew exactly what they were doing, were well trained and exceptionally kind. Angle and Austin were in the house and treated it with great care, while also working hard to run ducts, pull out old ducts and take care of all the little details I was worried about. Matt, Hugo and Justin worked diligently in the attic. Parts were needed, Frankie showed up with parts. All the crew coordinated well and ran like a well oiled machine. The installation supervisor Zak stopped by to make sure he spoke with us in person and could address any concerns with the install. It was lovely, but with all the system and ducts how could they possibly make sure the attic was air sealed as promised. We had to contact Fidel to verify the work would be done, he assured us, it would. Last day: the air seal/insulation crew Lerue and Digby … these two just blew us away. They were kind, they were efficient, and they included us in every aspect of addressing attic space and showing us pictures of a really thorough job (see after photo of attic) We were more than satisfied, but our early concerns had been heard.. Fidel had moved his schedule and offered to do a final walkthrough. He and our original point of contact JT showed up to make sure we were 110% happy with the outcome. It was a hard job and we would be happy to have any of the guys back! We highly recommend Atticman!

Received a visit first with Ryan Rawson who thoroughly went over the entire process of how the HVAC system works and why my old one was not consistent and two of the bedrooms were either too hot or too cold. He was charming and relatable. Not like a salesman. I trusted him. He told me that Atticman is a family owned local company. He was patient with my ten million questions. Ryan was able to set up the crew a few days later, working around my schedule. Part two: Manny and his crew did a fantastic job!!! Very courteous and respectful . They worked so hard installing the HVAC system during a storm!!! Outside they set up a tent to remove the old inefficient 1 1/2 ton and replaced it with a slim 2 ton condenser. They increased the return and the bedroom vents, sealing them all. The new WiFi Ecobee thermostat is amazing, we also received an extra sensor. They guys did a great job cleaning up afterwards too. We are now sitting in our perfectly consistent temperature home. Manny proudly showed me the new furnace in the attic and explained how to use the thermostat!. These guys worked for 12 hours to get this done. Bravo, you all did a BRILLIANT job!!! Part three: We decided to replace the 25 year old water heater as well, which was installed two days after the HVAC. Another impressive performance by the one man team, Jordan. He was friendly and efficient. Great job and very informative. He went above and beyond by removing an unnecessary part that was not up to code.. Jordan also brought the dog’s cookies. Nice touch Atticman! I will be recommending Atticman to everyone I know.

I just have a new Johnson Controls Heat Pump 4.0 ton, HMH7, 18 SEER Modulating/variable Speed in combination with a new ADP- F air handler and a new Smart Ecobee thermostat installed at my home by Atticman HVAC company. I am totally impressed with this new HVAC System, and am very happy with it. it is totally quiet, the double Fan run smoothly like the sound of a running water faucet. The temperature drops down from 76°F to 72°F in a matter of an hour. It looks like a very energy efficient HVAC system. I was very skeptical at first because this is the first time I used a heat pump system, and it was introduced by Mike. I could not be happier with this new heat pump installed by Atticman Heat & AC Company. Thank you very much for all the crew members: Brian, Gerald, and Jessy. You all worked so hard for the installation and were very nice to me in every job details: New heat pump Installed, new Ecobee thermostat, 2 new return Vents with 2 new air filters, cleaning and sealling all the registers, 6 new Smog detectors, 1 new carbon monoxide detector, running the wires from the outside circuit breaker to 2nd floor in a beautiful manner. I like it when you cover my stairs to keep my carpet clean. Especially cleaning up all the working places after the job is done. With all the excellent work from Brian, Gerald, and Jessy from Atticman Heat & AC, I would recommend anybody for a new Heat Pump or a new HVAC system when you need it. I was referred to Atticman by a close friend who was happy with their service and products. Atticman had a half off special for a tune up and inspection at $49 when I scheduled. JT was my main serviceman and he was very knowledgeable. He wore shoe coverings at my request without any hesitation and was super polite the entire time. My heating and air units are 20 years old. Here is some of the things they did and noticed: “Checked refrigerant pressures, amp draws on the compressor, condenser fan motor was leaking oil with high amperage. Capacitor was out of operational range per the manufacturer. Evaporator coil was rusted and definitely dirty enough to cause a restriction/ freezing of the coil. Took the burner assembly off and inspected the heat exchange. Checked return air intake sizes and checked your static pressure. Inspected all wiring (low volt and high volt) checked your zone board out to make sure it was functioning as it should.” The only minor negative thing I noticed was that the ceiling cover in my closet wasn’t completely closed so I got a ladder and adjusted it. Really nice people at Atticman and I would be happy to do business with them if the price works out for all involved.

I am extremely happy with our new split heat pump system. From Thomas R., the Service Technician that came by to look at our old HVAC system and he was thorough and detailed letting us know what caused our old system to break down, to Kyle C., the Service Supervisor who came by a few days later to go over new systems, budget and gave us great estimates that we were comfortable with. Installation day was great. Kobe and his team were awesome. They were friendly, professional, and did an amazing job. They were also able to work with my schedule. Lastly, we had an insulation retrofit done and Ryan and his team also did an amazing job. I highly recommend Atticman.

I really appreciate the follow up and customer service I've received from everyone on their team. John S was a great sales guy, answered all of my questions, and I never felt pressured. He was eager to understand our family's situation and met us where we are never talking over my head or making me feel like I needed to be an HVAC expert to have a conversation or understand what we're buying. I also appreciate that they handle all rebates for us, so one less headache to deal with. On install day, Zak and his crew were very polite, cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were happy with the work. Very Happy with the whole experience. Atticman staff were professional, diligent and respectful from start to finish. We got a detailed quote from Randall, including what needed to be done to fix airflow in our current system (and why), how the new system would look (e.g., where the new supply vents would go), advice on what kind of system to go with based not just on cost, but also servicability and compatibility with standard parts, as well as answers to all our questions about modern heat pumps and their efficiency. They took care of all $4500 of heat pump rebates (SMUD, California Clean Energy) automatically (and advised us about the additional $2000 Federal Tax rebate) and then gave us an amazing price (including a Whole House fan) on top of all that! At installation time (just a few days later in April), Derrick and Dillon's crew were respectful (floor coverings, not too much noise, even super friendly to our dogs) and really knew their trade, getting it done in 1 day and then walking us through the new system, including Ecobee thermostats, outdoor unit, and the schedule for house fan install and inspections going forward. The house fan went in super quick thanks to Ryan's crew, who were also professional, courteous, and did a great job with the placement and instruction. After the installation when we had questions about the system (were getting a little too much airflow, causing a whistle in some of the prominent register vents), Dustin came back and installed new high-flow registers to reduce the noise, and adjusted the dampers to make sure we were happy. Overall, not much more you can ask for! We definitely recommend Atticman for your HVAC system replacement! EDIT: Colin came by to set up the ladder, re-inspect the work, and be here when the city inspector came in. Made the inspection process quick and seemless, ensured we were happy with the system after a month, and helped us followup on a minor question we had. Again, not much more you could ask for. First and foremost I have to say a few words about Michael Schoenfeld. His knowledge of the products were outstanding. He walked me through everything and I would not have picked Atticman Heating & Air Conditioning ,Inc. had it not been for him . Thank you so much Michael you are a great asset to the company. When Kyle and his crew showed up for my installation they were very professional, and very thorough. They were very efficient with their time, and when they left, everything was so clean that you wouldn’t even know they were here other than the fact that our home was so warm and cozy! Bravo Guys!! I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. Kris Vantassel went through the final inspection with the City at our home to get everything signed off and It could not have gone any better. Can't thank the team at Atticman enough for the great job they did on my new home! I had new insulation put in my attic (it's an old home and the insulation was way under what it should be) and also purchased a new heat pump HVAC unit. Mario, the owner, was super helpful in explaining options (and all of the current SMUD/state rebates and tax incentives for upgrading my old gas unit, which ended up being $4500 in rebates!!) The install teams that came over for each job (Attic Insulation & HVAC installation teams pictured - Kobe, Justin, Clayton plus Armando who was not pictured for the HVAC and Matt, Ryan, and Darwin for the Attic Insulation)- were nothing short of fabulous! Their combined knowledge and expertise were evident from the moment they arrived. Not only were they skilled at their craft, but they also seemed to have a genuine passion for their work, which was truly refreshing to see. They were courteous, respectful, and always willing to answer all of questions I had along the way. It was evident that they truly cared about ensuring my complete satisfaction with the work being done. One aspect of their service that particularly impressed me was their commitment to going above and beyond with attention to all the small details even when faced with the unexpected challenge of the rain that started towards the end of the job. They remained focused and diligent, taking extra precautions to keep my home clean and protected. Their attention to detail and dedication to providing a top-notch experience did not go unnoticed.
