American Home Energy Savers (AHES) is an above and beyond general contractor in all areas, of which we experienced many, including: 1. New heat pump HVAC, ducting, insulation, registers and fine touches such as return grill and more. 2. New heat pump water heater and associated plumbing and electrical. 3. New sewer line (not liner, excavated and new pipe) house to county. 4. New upgraded (from underground SMUD) Siemens 200-amp electric service panel. 5. Landscaping: A. 150 feet French Drain system top notch materials, B. Backyard DG, C. Redone front yard with rock, D. Over 50 plants and drip system, E. New (amazing) side yard gate and RV Gate, F. New public right of way sidewalk and gutters and multiple concrete slab repairs, routing of roof gutters, and similar, G. Large, will last a lifetime, redwood raised bed that will never collapse. 6. Investigated potential leak in shower. 7. Repaired stucco from panel and shower leak investigation. 8. Repaired various parts of the roof and gutter system. I know I am missing some things, but all of this was great and kept us coming back for more (I still asked others for competitive quotes, but the price and quality could not be beat). Whenever I had questions or desires, they were answered and provided. Furthermore, I know that AHES will be here for me if there is ever a problem with any of the work and they will stand by it. They were always on time and informative! Recently, American Home Energy Savers changed out my old gas (heater) HVAC system and installed a new heat pump package unit. Everyone I dealt with at the company was professional, polite and easy to work with. They completed the installation in two days and took care of all of my concerns without a problem. The heat pump, while only a few days old, appears to be operating in a more efficient way than my old unit. I am very pleased with AHES, their employees and the job they did. I will be using them again for other projects.

From start to finish, everyone at AHES has been friendly, engaging and professional. I had insulation blown into several sun-soaked walls. It could've been a hot mess, but the workers left the spaces as clean as they had been. The sales guy gave me technical but understandable answers on services and their benefits, but he wasn't at all pushy. The scheduling guy gave me even more detailed answers to my many questions. And quality control guy was engaging and a pleasure to talk with, and made sure I was satisfied with the whole process. A very good experience overall... and my house is now better protected from extreme temperatures.

I thought the business was very good. Everyone was very nice and professional. Alex's team was very good with the windows. I don't remember the name of the team who worked on the roof, but they were also very good. Everyone checked in to see if I had any questions or concerns; both teams were very communicative and friendly.

Pleasure to work with this company. We had them replace a window. Clinton came for the estimate and helped us find a reasonably priced fix. It took two weeks for the materials to arrive, then they arranged for installation. A QA check was arranged prior to requesting payment. The office staff were also helpful and friendly. We will use them again as needs arise.

American Home Energy Savers came by my home to offer a free inspection to see if the home qualified for rebates through SMUD. I scheduled an inspection the next day to see about qualifying for rebates for replacing the electrical panel, roof, plumbing, and drought tolerant landscaping. Cassius Ekeh arrived right on time to perform the inspection and was helpful and informative in every way and, based on his inspection and the information that he provided, I learned that, for the things I requested inspections on, no work would qualify for a rebate or otherwise makes sense to perform at this time given cost and/or age. The inspection did not take long and there was no pressure or sales tactics as a part of it at all. It was a pleasure talking with him and I learned more about both the rebates available and the condition of my home.

The entire experience of having our home landscaped and painted was more than what I expected. Jamie was extremely professional as he had visited our home twice, once last year and this year, just to make sure if things were okay and we wanted to go along with the project. On his second visit, my wife and I had decided to go through the process of having our home painted , adding new siding, and having our entire front yard landscaped for artificial turf. The job came out spectacular. Although my wife and I are going to install the artificial turf ourselves, the completed project was more than what we expected. We were happy that Jamie stuck by our side and gave us all the information we needed in order for us to have a remodeled looking home , something we can be proud of for many years to follow, thank you Jamie, and the entire team that brought our house back to life.

Excellent service and a lot of care in the details! We made so many changes to what we wanted and/or needed that we expected them to run away screaming, but they remained everso professional and extremely helpful in our decision making. The service was impeccable from start to finish, checking in with us periodically to make sure we were happy with the work being done. We had our siding done a beautiful paint job, a new fence with drivway enclosure replaced and our front yard prepped for artificial grass. We are beyond ecstatic with the results and if given the opportunity, will choose them again.

WORST EVER!!!! Wouldn’t recommend if they were the only company left. They send out tech, then tech calls AC unite company to either approve or dismiss. Then they may or may or may not have your part. Have to wait for part. Takes FOREVER to reach someone one the ph. Unless you like going through multiple stages to get items and service then go through them. We were told by the person who sold us this unit that we wouldn’t have to go through manufacturing company. Won’t name the person. LIES

Unfortunately, working with American Home Energy Savers was a very frustrating and drawn out process. I will start by saying everyone that we interacted with was very kind and helpful, but at the end of the day, the communication between the different members of the team and us was really bad and made for a very difficult experience. They came to our home to discuss the SMUD sponsored hot water heater rebate program and in the discussion, we asked about taking out a larger loan to also install a hot water circulation system. They were at our house and saw our bathroom where we wanted to install it and agreed to make this part of the deal. When it came time for the installation of the hot water heater and the hot water circulator, multiple different people showed up at different times than we had been told and I had to miss several hours of work to make this happen. The experience was very different than they described it. They then installed the hot water circulator in a different sink and told us they cannot install it in our bathroom sink which we had initially agreed upon. From here, this created an ongoing process of back-and-forth and having to miss more time at work for them to come back and uninstall the mistake they had made. All of this took up so much time and energy to try and coordinate between the different people calling us and was a total headache. I appreciate how kind the individual employees were, but it was not impressed by the service overall.

Everone at AHES was great during our renovation. From Gabby to Ben, Isaac and his crew, and everyone else. Jaime, Brandon, Freddie, just everyone! But my guy is Josh!! Josh is a superstar. He works so hard. He's also (as was everyone), kind. Kindness goes a long way. I feel confident in recommending AHES. I also feel confident that they aren't one of those companies who leave you hanging once the work is done. It's called pride and integrity in workmanship. Thanks guys!

American Home Energy Savers helped with our Level 2 EV charger. Overall job was well done, it took their crew of 4-5 people about 6 hours to upgrade our panel and install NEMI Plug. They finished in one day so that was a plus. Their pre-inspection tech, Branden, was professional and thorough, ensuring that our county inspection will go smoothly.

We can’t say enough about the quality of professionalism, level of knowledge from the staff that we’ve encountered, including most sub-contractors. Josh was one of the electricians that worked on the replacement of our electrical panel. We were impressed with Josh’s professionalism, patiences, and tenacity as he was troubleshooting a problem that occurred, as a result of something someone else did. Troubleshooting this issue more than doubled his time, on what he needed to do, but that didn’t derail his performance, professionalism, or his ability to stay focused on the task at hand and resolve the problem. Installing a whole house fan was one of the best home upgrades we’ve made. It cools the entire house quickly, especially in the evenings, and has drastically reduced our reliance on air conditioning. Polite, caring, answered all questions and left the place spic and span However post installation the company does respond as readily as they did before. I have called 3 times once a day for 3 days asking a question and they have told me they will get back to me by 4 pm. I am still waiting!!

Very glad we went with this company! We had all of our ducting replaced and new insulation put in the attic. Their communication was excellent, they were honest, fast and efficient. After we got the quote they came out within a week and did all of the work, then scheduled the final inspections the following week. We had to reschedule the inspections due to a family emergency and they were easy to get ahold of and rescheduled with no issues. Would definitely recommend them!

We had our roof redone and we also had insulation put in the walls and attic. They sub out with multiple contractors. The contractors did great work. We had a few issues, nothing serious. Our main problem was with regards to communication about the process and time frame. It would have been nice to know that there would be 4 different contractors plus quality assurance person days after work was completed. We needed to get our home back in order . Everyone was friendly and the work was good.

It was wonderful from beginning to end. Ramero and his crew were fantastic!!! He helped me make decisions. I never felt overwhelmed. They always cleaned up after themselves. They worked from sun up til sum down. Can't begin to express how grateful I am♥️

We have been very happy with the heating / AC and windows installation. Everyone with the agency has been very knowledgeable and professional! Brendan went the extra mile to help us with adjusting and setting a schedule on the new thermostat. He asked his boss for additional training to assist us. We felt that the process to get the needed services was a little bit different that what we are used to. The number of appointments was a bit overwhelming, but made sense, once they explained reasons. Jaime was very prompt in returning phone inquiries. Cashius was great at troubleshooting our specific heating/AC needs. Gabby was awesome and patient with our scheduling challenges and thermostat programming. Thanks American Home Service. Keith & Dallas were honest, professional and respectful. They made sure we had some air while we waited for our install and arranged for Dallas to drop a window unit off at our house on his way home from work. Thanks to these two our install was moved up, which was amazing since our air went out the week before the really hot week. The installers were so fast. We were supposed to be a 2 day install and it took them half of a day to get us up and running. Gabby in the office was very helpful in getting all the inspections done.

He advised me my roof did not need to be replaced and just needed some minor details done that I am able to do myself. I'm happy to see good honest people and companies are still around. Jason, did an excellent job scheduling both projects. He kept me informed every step of the way from the time the installers would arrive and what they are going to do. The work men were always on time and did a great job. I only had one issue because the electrical panel was the wrong size so it took an extra day which meant no electricity for another day. I just had a new water heater installed and the process was so easy. First Brandon came to my home to inspect my old one and confirmed it was time for a new one. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. The following week I met with Keith on financing and he was great in showing me all my options. He listened to my questions and answered them completely. We set up the financing that day which was super simple. He had my install appointment confirmed that day. I had Ben call a few days later confirming the appointment and if I had any questions. A couple of days before my appointment Jason called to confirm the arrival time. The install went great. Very professional men had it installed in about 2 hours. Michael the electrician came next and was great. He had thought he was going to have to remove my particle board I had up so he could get to my electrical panel which was something neither of us wanted. He put his thinking cap up and found a way to get it done without having to do that. I was very happy. Now today Brandon returned to inspect the job and take pictures of the new heater. I highly recommend American Home Energy Savers. Everyone I spoke to was so nice and know their stuff. It was such an easy process and now I have a very reliable water heater. I definitely will use them again when I need home work done.

We had a wonderful time working with Jamie and most of the American Home (Energy Savers) crew here in Sacramento. Project started October 2023 and ended this month (February 2024) with minimal interruptions due to the Holidays & severe weather conditions. The crew are mostly reliant, hardworking & very respectful during and after each project. The payment plan is very reasonable which allow us to pay over a 3 year period with 0% interest. We would definitely recommend their services to anyone who has home/property maintenance needs.

Recently I had a gas water heater that was located in the interior of my home removed and a new electric hybrid heater installed outside in a water heater closet. I also had a whole house salt water filter system installed. I was very impressed through out the entire project with the quality and professionalism of the intire staff. We had our home thoroughly inspected (for free) initially. He went in crawl/attic spaces and gave what felt like really honest feedback. Then we met with a salesperson. We never felt pressured to buy, in fact, he was honest about the cost vs benefit of some of the repairs we were considering. We ended up getting insultation and roof replaced. We got it done right before an insane heat wave and WOW did we notice a difference. It wasn't cheap (over $25k) but it has given us great peace of mind and made a noticeable difference in the air temp in our house. I feel like their prices were very fair considering the whole experience. If anything, the rebates saved us a ton and we still received high quality customer service and work. Also, they had multiple financing options, so the cost didn't clean us out. Every single person we interacted with, from the inspector to the folks doing the install, was nice, pleasant and professional. They listened to us and it seemed like there was great communication between all of the staff as well. We would recommend this company whole heartedly.

We had an outstanding experience with this company. We had a new roof, new gutters with guards and dry rot repair done on our home. From start to finish the representatives were professional, knowledgeable of their products and services that they offer and quality work completed. John did the initial inspection was very knowledgeable and friendly, Pablo came out to go over the inspection and to go over the roofing and materials required and all the different options, as well as the financing he was professional, friendly and made the process very easy from start to finish. The crew who did all the work were also knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. We are very happy with this company would highly recommend them if you are looking to do improvements to your home.
