Called for someone to inspect our home for wildlife intrusion. Paid $289 that same day for the inspection/estimate. Salesman came out a few days later (Friday) and gave me an estimate for $1150. I asked him to call me the following week and I’d let him know if I wanted the work completed. Later that same day, I noticed the entire $1150 was charged to my credit card. I reached out to the salesman and he said to call the office the following Monday. The website showed Saturday hours beginning at 8am. I called and left a detailed voice mail. I didn’t hear from anyone Monday morning so I called again. Could not reach a live person. As of this writing I have not heard back from the salesman or the company.<br><br>UPDATE: They reversed the charges this morning.

Angela at Smart Solutions is so incredibly helpful and was able to help get me a last minute appointment when bad weather was coming in and I was about to travel, and I needed assistance with a rat issue immediately. Appreciate her kindness and effort that she put into making sure I was set up with support.

We switched from Northwest Exterminating to Smart Solutions Wildlife after Northwest repeatedly failed to properly inspect and identify a squirrel issue in our home. Even though I was already a NW customer, they barely looked at our roof and attic and missed the problem multiple times. Smart Solutions came in and immediately did a far more thorough inspection, clearly identifying the squirrel entry points that Northwest had overlooked.<br><br>We then moved our general pest control to Smart Solutions because of their strong reputation for wildlife work, and they completely lived up to it. They took the time to investigate the roof and attic, explained exactly what they found, and correctly remediated the issue.<br><br>Jay, the owner, clearly takes great pride in his work and in making sure customers are happy. Ryan is an incredible technician — knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and professional.<br><br>If you want a company that actually takes the time to find and fix wildlife problems instead of glossing over them, Smart Solutions Wildlife is the company to call. While we were out of town on vacation a Mother Raccoon and her three babies moved into our attic in our suburban home. I called the exterminator we have been using since we moved in (in 1979) and they no longer do animal removal in North Atlanta. They were very confident in recommending Smart Solutions. I breathed a sigh of relief because I was feeling really unsure about two others I called using a web search.They came and inspected our house, explained the whole process, gave us an estimate and we were sold on the spot. They gave us a schedule, they stuck to it, and the technicians Tommylee and Ryan were amazing. We are rid of all critters, (relocated to farther nort woods) the house is sealed and secured and guaranteed. They held my hand in the process and kept in touch by text and email and I could always reach the office by phone. I do not recommend many companies, but this one I can recommend without hesitation. It is also a family owned and operated company, which makes me smile even harder. I can’t guarantee you will get Tommylee or Ryan— but you are in hard working, friendly, sympathetic and more than competent hands if you do. The pictures are the before and the invaders if you think I exaggerate.

Tanner is always friendly and timely. He asks about the progress of the treatments and if I have any concerns. He knows I do not like snakes, so he makes sure to check for any signs of them.

Jay cleaned up our infestation problem in 2017. We're selling our home and the inspection raised the possibility of a current infestation. Jay came out, on time, and did a comprehensive review. The baited traps he left in the attic had not been tripped and all exclusion work was intact. He provided a comprehensive report that will satisfy the buyers. I had the report before he left - thorough and included pictures. Highly recommend!

I had Moxie Pest Control come in for regular termite check but was told I have ‘a lot’ of mice activity in my attic and they recommended to remove all insulation by having a big vacuum to remove the old insulation and at the same vacuuming out all the mice in the attic, disinfectant and replace new insulation and they quoted me $11k for the job! I called Smart Solution. They came, checked my attic and told me that what he saw was previous activities and inspected the exterior of my home and found several entry points. They set traps for 2 weeks and find nothing at all and came back for an exclusion job to seal off all entry points of my home! Ryan did a great job with it and I am glad I found Smart Solution to do the job and saved me thousands of dollar!! Great work!! Thank you Ryan!!

I originally had issues with wildlife eating our fish and rodents in the attic and crawl space which was quickly resolved by sealing openings, etc; Michael has been our go to guy, he most recently solved a pesky molecproblem and now keeps us pest free with his monthly service calls. When a vacant house nearby was torn down, we wound up with rats throughout our yard and under the house. Smart Solutions was recommended to us and they've been exceptional in assessing the problem, putting together a plan and following through. Kevin has been wonderful, as has the office staff -- before we can even think to call to ask for a visit, Kevin is already assigned and on his way. They've also helped us address mosquitos in a non-toxic way (no spraying, just bait and water to stop the larvae) and outdoor pest control that is safe for our dogs, cats, and other critters.

I met Jay Vincent, owner of Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal, Pest Control, and Rat Removal after Terminix had completely failed to do a proper exclusion, resulting in what could have been a small rat problem turning into a huge rat problem. I was at my wit's end after months of trying to get the problem resolved and thousands of dollars. Jay meticulously inspected the outside of my house, discovered entry points that had not been closed, undid the terrible work that had been done and did a thorough and proper exclusion. Then he set trapping the rats that had gotten into my walls (and multiplied). He set cameras and stayed at it until the last rat was trapped. Jay gave me his personal cell number and patiently responded to every text and every call - and there were a lot!!! Then his team came in and sanitized absolutely everything and redid the installation of new insulation in my attic. It was not inexpensive - but they got it done and have guaranteed their work. I realized that pest control companies say they do rat removal but at least the one I worked with doesn't know what they are doing. The fact that they didn't exclude properly allowed the rats to multiple in my infrastructure and cause so much damage in my house that could have been avoided if I'd started with Smart Solutions.<br><br>Because of the great experience I had with them, I hired them to take over my routine pest control. They are just terrific. Extremely flexible and accommodating, and very professional but personable. Mike and Tanner have been great to work with. I can't say enough good things about this company!

I have been so impressed with Smart Solutions. I use a different company for pest control, and when I called them to see if they could get their wildlife division out to me because of an infestation in one of my vent pipes they couldn't come out for a week and a half. They had done a previous squirrel exclusion for us and it was half-assed at best. I called Smart Solutions and they were able to come out immediately, did a full and thorough inspection, and gave me a solution for excluding what turns out to be bats! The gentleman who came (Tim) was very nice and informative, took tons of pictures and showed me how the previous exclusion by the other company wasn't done very well, leaving us open to bugs and critters. He suggested various ways to fix this and we ended up having them do a full exclusion since it wasn't too much more than just doing an exclusion for the bats. They came soon after to do the work, and were very communicative throughout the process. I will be switching to them for pest control as well because I was so pleased. Not the cheapest but definitely the best quality. I'm so appreciative that my kitchen doesn't smell like a batcave anymore!<br><br>Edit: Have since switched to Smart Solutions for regular pest Control. So glad I did. With old company, would see a big roach in the house once a week or so in the summer. Have only seen one this year since switching. Highly recommend.

The guys at Smart Solutions did a great job of finding and securing all the places where critters were getting into my attic. They arrived when they said they would be there, were very personable and trapped and removed all the freeloading vermin trying to turn my attic into their personal night club. UPDATE: Jay, the owner called me personally the next day. Apologized for the miscommunication and said he would make it right himself. I told him he didn’t have to come clean himself but he insisted and said he would use it as a training for his company. I’ve changed my review from 1 to 5 stars because of the humility and honesty the owner has. Most companies could fix an issue but he wants to help his whole team do better and I respect that. Of course, he went above and beyond cleaning the bat guano with a brand new hepa filter and sanitizing which I really just wanted the droppings picked up but he did a very thorough job. I’m sorry there was a miscommunication between us and the inspection tech. Glad the company takes care of its customers, though.<br><br>Received a quote for bat removal. The individual line items were $0 with the total at the top. They bundle everything without letting you know what will cost what. I went with them anyway because the employee (who is no longer with them) told my husband that they would clean up the bat guano while they were up in the attic. It wasn’t written on the quote. The manager emailed me and told me I can’t have that done because it costs extra and it wasn’t on the quote. I get it. Their employee made a mistake by promising us that but not honoring that and not owning your employee mistakes is not the best business practice.<br>Also they use a product that has a strong odor. It’s noted in the quote. They don’t remind customers when scheduling about the odor (I have 3 little kids). My bad for not reading every single line but apparently I’m not the only one. They should at least remind customers when they book to schedule. Not mandatory, of course, just common courtesy. And if you’re looking for a company that values your experience with them and has integrity— look elsewhere.

Kevin and Smart Solutions are literally the very best to deal with pest and mice issues!!!! They did an incredible job sealing up our house so we don't have any more mice in the kitchen or attic! They completely alleveated all my anxieties and it feels so good! Also,they do such a tremendous job with the pest control, especially taking care of the many, many ants. I did a lot of research to find a company that could take care of our rodent issue. Our home is very old! So we have holes on the outside that devilish rodents have created and crawl through to invade our space!! In doing my research I found Smart Solutions! Wow! They were incredibly informative and got to the root of our issue. Justin came and did our inspection! He truly is an expert in his field! He told us information that two other well known companies did not! He discovered rodents were coming from under our deck!!! Other companies just used their stupid glue to seal the outside of the walls and set some traps but it didn’t work. Justin made a solid plan for us and had his amazing team execute the plan! We had the pleasure of working with Tommy Lee who was super kind and diligent in uprooting the deck and getting those hidden crawl spaces sealed! Then the amazing Ryan made frequent visits to place and assess traps, making sure those devils didn’t return! Our experience with Smart Solutions has been rewarding! Representative from Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal, Kevin, arrived promptly as scheduled. Kevin has a wonderful personality, is knowledgeable and is aware of changes in the climate which also means changes in the environment. On his first visit, he had already noticed a few issues. Apparently, the yellow stinging creatures were whisked away from the surrounding area and they had decided to make their home high up in hiding corners of the property. Kevin pointed out a few spots of these critters hideout; and he offered to walk with him around the house as he pointed possible affected areas. Since then, on each of his subsequent visits, Kevin has arrived on time and has made certain none of these biting insects would be so close to the house. At the end of his round, he has always briefed what he had done and what he would do on his next visit. I am happy with Kevin's expertise. Thank you.

We recently hired Smart Solutions to help us get to the bottom of some pest-related issues we were having at our home. They were very professional, timely & great communicators for scheduling. Ryan came by to inspect our home and discovered there was indeed some intruders! Mice & rats had made themselves a bit too cozy in our house (crawl space & attic). He sealed every vent on the exterior of our home, set up traps, and came by weekly to monitor the issue. We caught a bunch of them & now have a means to prevent them from finding a way back in. 10/10 recommend.

I have been a pest control customer for almost two years and am very happy with my choice. I chose Smart Solutions because their inspection was thorough and informative. They included bait boxes and carpenter bee treatment with my initial pest control service. This past summer was the first time that I had no issues with snakes and joro spiders due to the effectiveness of their services. We also had Smart Solutions install gutter guards as a preventative measure for squirrels (and leaves). I highly recommend them for all your pest and unwanted wildlife needs.

I can’t say enough nice things about Smart Solutions. Imagine my complete horror in figuring out that what I thought was a mouse (turned out to be a rat!) has weaseled its way into my minivan! I’m sure it was lured in by the fact that the engine was warm and my 3 kids always left it snacks… but I knew I needed some professional help since I had never dealt with such a thing. Kevin arrived the same day we called and was beyond friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything he felt would work in getting these pests out of our way. I had a rodent infestation at my house last winter. I tried another pest control company but that did not work. Then I reached out to Smart Solutions. Their initial visit to identify potential entry points was much more thorough and I knew I had made the right choice. They were able to get rid of the rodents from my house. They know what they are doing and the service is pretty good too. I would recommend Smart Solutions to anyone looking for a solution to get rid of rodents.

I had an already serious rodent problem, but last December it exploded as rats were seen in the house as well as heard in the wall/ceiling. I hired smart solutions for help….it was expensive, but not over-priced for the services rendered. I felt that they were truthful and also I didn’t want a solution that would mostly require me trapping and discarding rat carcasses regularly. I have been very happy with the results. While it still requires monitoring the contract provides for on-going assistance from the company at little to no costs. A technician was assigned to work with us. A shout out for TJ, an employee of Smart Solutions who has worked with us since the original exclusion. Prompt, professional and knowledgeable he is an excellent representative for the company and a reliable source of information for us. I believe the work was completed in early February, 23, and we have been rodent-free since that time.

Smart Solutions "squirrel proofed" our house about three years ago and did a fantastic job. We thought the squirrels were back and called and they came and checked us out again and found the squirrels were just running around on our roof and not in our attic.<br>I highly recommend Smart Solutions - they are thorough, efficient, and very professional! I am writing to express my profound satisfaction with the service provided by Smart Solutions, particularly, the technician named Tommy Lee, who was assigned to handle our raccoon issue. From the moment we reached out, Smart Solution demonstrated immense professionalism and diligence. Tommy Lee was an absolute standout. We had a raccoon and her babies residing on our property, which needed careful and humane removal. Tommy was well-prepared, knowledgeable, and highly communicative throughout the process. What struck me most about Tommy was his proactive communication. He never left us in the dark about his visits or what was happening. He kept us updated whenever he was on site, explaining what he had done, the challenges encountered, and the steps he planned to take next. His thoroughness in getting the job done reassured us and demonstrated his commitment to resolving the issue most effectively.

I've utilized Smart Solutions twice now and am quite pleased. I had the pleasure of working with David Snow both times. He is professional, friendly, informative and clearly respects his work and service to his customers. I will use them again in the future.

Tim and the crew are extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. We recently used them for trapping and exclusion work on our home and each time they have been forthcoming about the right way to approach our pest issues, worked with us to find realistic solutions for our budget and answered every single question (and I had A LOT). What I loved most about their customer service is that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything. Focus was on getting the right job contracted, that job done well, and educating me as a customer.<br>We’re still in the middle stages of our project, so time will tell if the rodents on my property respond well to the solutions we chose together, but overall I am very impressed with this company. You absolutely get what you pay for.

We had Smart Solutions do some trapping for us as we had a racoon how was flipping our sod over almost every night. They caught the critter and solved our issue. They were one of the few pest control companies that offered trapping service, so I was happy to find them. Would use them again for other services.

Smart Solutions has helped us keep some unwanted pests out of our home and the difference before/after has been amazing. David Snow did a fantastic job helping us through our issues and is always polite and takes time to answer our questions. Goes above and beyond. I want to say that this is a great company. They listen to your concerns and they are very professional. The tech came in and went straight to work. I had all types of rodents like cat and possum going in-and-out of the bottom of my chimney and into the crawl space under my house.<br>The Tech evaluated and then he sealed all the areas and he found some new areas in the cross space that he also fixed with the galvanize still mesh. I really appreciated how fast they were able to get an appointment as this was very concerning to me.<br>I want to thank Tim and the company for doing an outstanding job and I give them 5 stars!

UPDATE 2/15/23:<br>Today was the final visit (#5 or 6) to remove traps and inspect all closed rat entry points to my crawl space. Tim was instrumental in making visits to inspect the work of his technicians and to explain all the steps involved in securing and removing the pests. I am very satisfied with the end result and I better understand that the money spent and the lengthy process is worth it. I would recommend Smart Solutions Wildlife to handle your pest needs<br><br>Jan 2023: The initial inspection is very good. The trapping and monitoring procedures are way over priced. The exclusion costs are way over priced. Labor and materials are not broken out on the quotes or invoice. The warranty of 1 year is too short based on the $$ spent on the repairs.

I used this company for rodents and exclusion service. Their initial inspection by Justin was one of the primary reasons I chose this company. His initial inspection of entry points was very thorough and much more detailed than other companies that I got a quote from. He also explained the quote in detail and made sure it reflected all of the agreed upon terms of service. He made sure the process and timing worked best for me as the customer per my request . He answered any questions that I had and showed me the pictures of all of the entry points and issues. He also came out after the work was completed to show me what had been done. I appreciate the effort from Justin ...it reassured me that this company is thorough , provides excellent customer service, stands behind its work and takes its reputation seriously.<br><br>During the trapping process Kevin was phenomenal. Not only was he knowledgeable ...he was empathetic, patient and took my concerns seriously. He went above and beyond to check everything, to remedy the pest situation and to make me feel comfortable in my home again.<br><br>This was an extremely stressful and expensive situation. I am happy to be at the end of it feeling like I made the right choice by selecting this company.

David Snow came out for a routine treatment. Just before he arrived, a deer became caught in our fence. Mr. Snow generously helped our neighbor free the deer from the fence. This effort was above and beyond, and greatly appreciated by us. We’ve been using their services for the past couple of years after having a hard time finding a reliable pest company. They always do a professional job and we have not had any breakthrough infestations since they have started. Their customer service is also top notch. I have been with Smart Solutions for years. The owners are nice people and professional. Our technician - Kevin is a great guy. He’s always on time and goes far and beyond to help. I highly recommend Smart Solutions for all kinds of pest control and solutions.

We bought a house a year ago and since moving in we noticed the squirrel activity in the attic. We got quotes from three different companies and they all had a list an arm long of all the "fixes" they would do to make sure the squirrel would not come in again. Not one of them said they would make sure to catch it first. So when I called this company I was honestly not expecting anything different. But they surprised me. They sent out Tim. And he was very knowledgeable and took excellent pictures of every entrance and exit that damn squirrel was using. And he laid out a plan. We agreed on it and paid. And they came out and laid their traps. Within a day that squirrel was trapped. They came out again and removed it. And then proceeded to seal and patch and fix every way that squirrel was coming in. God be willing we won't see any more squirrel activity. I highly recommend this company. The entire staff from Tim to Ryan to Tom are excellent at their work.

Smart Solutions from start to finish was so professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Nick was managing the work on our house. He came out to perform the inspection and he was extremely thorough, going into our crawl space, attic, up on our roof, and seeing many problem areas around our house. He found entry areas that no other animal control places noticed, and the other places didn’t even go up on the roof and one place didn’t go in the crawl space. We had no doubt Smart Solutions would do the best job and they didn’t disappoint! David did our trapping and he did an amazing job, kept us informed, and was consistent. The two men who did the repairs on our house (I’m sorry I don’t remember their names) came earlier than expected which was great, and finished so quickly so we could go on with our day. Nick came back out to check on things and finish up some work. He definitely went above and beyond, thank you Nick! A bonus was that everyone who entered our home wore booties and masks without us asking. We really appreciated that! We contacted several wildlife removal companies, but I did not feel good about any of them. David Durham came to our house. He investigated the squirrel issue in our attic. David seemed very honest and professional. He explained our issue and gave us a few choices to get rid of the squirrels. He was fair and not overpriced. I will definitely use Smart Solutions for future Pest Solutions and Wildlife removal needs.

We have been very pleased with our pest control service provided by Smart Solutions. David has been a great technician, who communicates well (making sure you understand what has been done). Also, our previous technician, Josh, was very thorough. And Jay is a very quick responder. All the staff members we work with have been patient and professional. Lyta, our contact, makes sure our appointments are set and answers questions we may have. Again, they have been a nice group of people to work with.

I called Smart Solutions when a nasty old copperhead moved into my front yard. David came out the very next day, inspected the entire yard, and gave me several options about how best to remove the snake. He was very thorough in explaining each option, and was very patient with all my questions. Since I am new to the southeastern US, he also took the time to explain about several different types of wildlife that I had been having trouble with including snakes, chipmunks, squirrels and even ants. He was very knowledgeable and willing to help me create a management plan for my yard. I was very happy with the courteous and professional service from Smart Solutions and I would highly recommend them.

David Durham came by my home around noon today and educated my wife and I on exactly what we need to do, to get rid of a "King Snake". He was able to quickly identify what kind of snake it was, its whereabouts, tendencies, and gave us a sense of security. He taught me how to catch a Snake and let me know if I'm too scared to catch it, to call him and he'll come out and get it, anytime. Cool guy, great company. Use them if you spot wildlife in your yard.

Jay and his crew did a great job! Their services are very reasonably priced, Jay took his time on the initial inspection, and they came to work when they said they would. Jay, the owner of Smart Solutions is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He treated my house for rats, woodpeckers and carpenter bees. He explained the entire process and how we were going to accomplish our goal of ridding my house of these pests. He is very thorough and returns until the job is accomplished.
