Max and his team did a fantastic job of remedying multiple issues in our crawlspace. What stands out about Crawlspace Medic to me is that even though there were a few hiccups in the installation process to fix our foundation, the team made it right in the end - and they did so quickly, so I stayed on my timeline and within my budget for our mid-century fixer-uper. I am please with the encapsulation and foundation fix, and they are a strong favorite for our next project.

My husband and I spent a lot of time with Crawlspace Medic while prepping our home to sell and after moving into our new place. We owned a 1920s bungalow in need of a trench and sump pump. Prior to the install, rain always entered one side of the house, to the point of that area of the stand-up crawlspace being unusable for storage. After the job was done, we got a lot of rain, and the crawlspace stayed dry as a bone. They also replaced the vapor barrier and laid a fresh vapor barrier under our ADU.<br><br>At our new house, they added some supports under our front porch -- an issue that was flagged by our inspector.<br><br>Donny and Dan are awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work, even if it meant making an extra trip from way outside the perimeter.<br><br>Further, Crawlspace Medic's prices are extremely competitive.

Donny was a great technician and very accessible throughout the whole process. Happy with the final product, only reason for 4 stars being a miscommunication between the quote and the crew and some reworks needed after the initial installation; both of which Stephen fixed quickly (2 days after) with no added expense (which was at least a $500 value). This goes for any contractor, but make sure to inspect the work yourself if able. Crawlspace Medic made it right.

All the stars! Max and his team are top notch. We had water entry in our basement and got a couple of quotes for a French drain system/basement water proofing all of which left us shell shocked and wondering if we would have to sell a kidney on the black market to pay for it… teasing…. Max the owner came out and did a full walk through of our house. He was detailed and honest. He figured out the water was actually coming in through a below grade window well and drew up a plan for us to fix it. I asked Max if his company could do it and he said well definitely but honestly if your spouse is any bit handy he could do it himself. Wow what an honest human. My husband built a very small retaining wall just to re-route the rain/run off and it completely fixed our issue. Whenever we re-do our basement we will be calling crawlspace medic of Atlanta back out for any other waterproofing needs!! Forever grateful to y’all!

This is the second time we've used Crawlspace Medic, and the second great experience with the company.<br>Last time we had a drain run around the perimeter plus a sump pump installed.<br>This time we had a full encapsulation of our crawlspace, including a dehumidifier.<br>I put a bluetooth hygrometer down there ($14 on amazon) and have been measuring 34% humidity, plus its all clean and shiny.<br><br>I'm confident that this will be value added to the house, and the Crawlspace Medic crew was very prompt and helpful in quoting/installing. (I had a competitive quote from a well-known competitor that was almost twice the price)

Excellent experience with Crawl Space Medics! Our crawl space needed a lot of work; and they managed to complete a full clean out (entire dumpster worth), interior perimeter French drain, plastic encapsulation of floor/walls/pillars, all new insulation, and new sump pump and dehumidifier ALL IN FOUR DAYS. Everything was handled very professionally, from the initial assessment and quote by Donnie to the actual work by John and Reed. These guys were amazing: On time, extremely hard working and great at communicating project status.We have full confidence in their work and would recommend them to anyone!

I have been pleased with the process from start to finish. I had a pretty extensive job done: French drains around the entire foundation with two sub-pumps put in. I also had them add insulation for the underside of the house. Their price, while not cheap, was very competitive with other companies (better than most). I am happy to pay good money for good work that will last.

I'm posting this review 1 year later after getting my crawlspace encapsulated and have the benefit of watching the system they setup not only work as intended, but doing so with with 0% hands-on maintenance from me.<br><br>Don, the owner, is a real person and you can tell he honestly cares about whats going on with you and how he can help - like squeezing me earlier into their packed schedule and figuring out the most cost effective solution to my problem (I recall him even mentioning they do price matching, that's how confident they are in their fair & competitive pricing).<br><br>Even in the one negative review I see here, you can tell they did everything they possibly could to respectfully fix the situation. No company is perfect, but what really sets them apart is their response to any problems or complaints. Even I had a small problem with my initial setup (bad placement and securement of the de-humidifier), but Don himself came out to fix the problem immediately and expertly. They've honestly had some the best installers around, as I've used them twice. But they became so good, they decided to keep progressing with their career and left, not because of the company. It takes awhile to get new employees trained up and experienced enough to handle any problem at any customer, but I can tell they'll all get there.<br><br>As for my install, my vapor barrier was laid down expertly and their installer helped me cut down on the cost there in various ways (hint: clean it out first yourself). Couple years later, I needed a full encapsulation and dehumidifier because I wanted to start storing clothes and other sensitive stuff down there for months at a time. Well I can happily report that my clothes still smelled like fresh laundry after 5+ months in the crawl space. Very relieved to have peace of mind for stuff I store down there! Only thing I realized, is I should probably get some sort sensor to alert me if the de-humidifier fails one day (everything fails at some point).<br><br>You'll be in good hands with Don, you'll get the best price, he won't do stuff you don't need, and he'll fix anything your unhappy about, all while being caring and considerate. Even when I got a bit snappy about that small problem, they don't take personally and have thick skins. Go with these guys!

They communicated what they were going to do, why, how it would work, and executed it. The guys who installed everything were professional and worked very hard. In addition to the written reports they sent over, they sent pictures of their work in a google drive so I can save them for future reference.<br><br>I couldn't be happier working with them and will only use them for my crawlspace moving forward.

I only have good things to say about Crawlspace Medic. Donny came out to view our crawlspace that started to get water entering during heavy rains. He suggested digging a trench w/ a sump pump and he provided a quote very quickly. His team, led by Reed, came out and performed the work. They were very courteous and got the job done in 2 days. Reed even McGyver'd his way underneath some stairs to dig the trench, which I was initially assuming I'd have to pay a contractor later to rebuild my staircase. I'm incredibly thankful he was able to salvage my stairs! Overall, I am happy with the result and will be glad to not mop up anymore water in my crawlspace.

Most of these Google reviews are fake. Early 2023 Crawlspace Medic of Atlanta put down a "vapor barrier". I paid a $500 deposit on a $1500 job . They sent a young inexperienced kid. He was done in 2 hours. Upon inspection, I could still see my dirt floor exposed in multiple areas. Entire runs along the wall had no overlap and you could see dirt. The main path into my standing crawlspace had inches of exposed dirt. Look at the terrible cuts. It was unbelievable he didn't overlap onto the concrete and tape/secure the plastic. He was so lazy that he didn't even move two cinder blocks, instead he sloppily cut around them and left my dirt exposed. WHAT WAS I PAYING FOR? What's the point of a "Vapor barrier" when the floor is still exposed?<br><br>The company sent a 2nd guy. That guy admitted they had problems with their young guy. I thought they would fix everything. He only masked the problems I could see without crawling in. You can still see in THEIR photos large swathes of plastic without any spikes.<br><br>That same week, I crawled in. I was dumbfounded the ENTIRE plastic sheet in my smaller crawlspace unraveled. It was literally like a 15x15 piece of plastic laid on a slope without any spikes or tapes holding it down. The 2nd guy did nothing in this room but add a piece of plastic where the cinder block problem was. It was at this point where I knew I was scammed. I already paid a $500 deposit, but they weren't getting another dime from me. They literally paid a young inexperienced kid $15-20/hr for a couple of hours to lay plastic on my floor. He couldn't even make straight cuts. What did I pay for when my ground isn't even covered?<br><br>It was awkward at this point and I did not want to have them back out. I bought xmas tree spikes and my own plastic, and I closed the gaps and secured the plastic.<br><br>They tried to report my account on my credit history. I have tons of pictures and videos, including conversation with 2nd guy throwing the 1st guy under the bus and admitting what a terrible job it was. I'll update my reviews and complaints if they actually do what's right.

I’m so happy I found this company to water proof my entire basement last year. So far, I’ve had both Reggie and Dan come to my property and both experiences were excellent. Highly recommend Crawlspace medic. We had some flooding in our crawlspace after a large storm and Dan H. was quick to come on-site same day request and spend the extra time with me to walk through all areas of our house. I suddenly had a chemical non-hazardous odor coming from my crawl space. The source of the odor could not be found by Atlanta Gas nor Fire Dept. The odor was so strong that the fire department told me to leave my home until the source of the order could be determined. The odor slowly went away in 48 hrs. Crawlspace Medic was quick to respond with concern and fit me into their schedule. Dan thoroughly inspected my crawlspace and could not find the source but assured me that my crawlspace was clean and in tact. Dan was professional and I will definitely use Crawlspace Medic again. I highly recommend this company

Had my crawlspace encapsulated and the crawlspace door replaced. The quote was far more affordable compared to some of the bigger names and the quality of work was just as good. The salesperson was not pushy at all and listened to all my questions. Overall one of the best experiences I've had doing work on the house.

The team at crawl space medic did a great job. They did the exact same job as other higher priced companies and moved quickly to get it done, and to make sure we were happy. I had a vapor barrier installed. My experience with Crawlspace Medic was great and I'm pleased with the work they did.<br><br>Edited 6/8/22<br>I called Crawlspace Medic because I noticed some sagging, bouncy floors in my kitchen. Dustin came out and noted it was likely the weight of my kitchen island (my house was flipped before I bought it) causing some issues. He also said I had twelve open vents in my crawlspace creating a humidity problem. Dustin was great about answering all of my questions. Tram and his team came out and installed some drop girders, closed up 10 of my vents, and put in a dehumidifier. My floors feel more stable and I don't know if it's related, but it sure seems like my AC is doing a better job at cooling my home now. After doing business with them twice, I'm happy to return to Crawlspace Medic should any other issues arise.

Highly recommend Max and his team. The repairmen were super courteous and understanding of three dogs. They spent extensive time and energy explaining to us the problems and repairs that would be required, and they were honest about their services in referring us to a remediation expert that could do the clean up for far less. They could have easily told us the crawl space had 12 needed repairs and I never would have known the difference. Instead, he steered me to a clean up service and saved us thousands of dollars. They encapsulated my crawl space. Very professional and pleasant to work with. Very knowledgeable. They were prompt and got the job done quickly. I had a mold remediator out after the work was done. He commented that the work was done well and the price I paid was within the average range. The only down side was they had to come back out several days later to bring the dehumidifier pump because they didn't have it in stock at the time of my service. Not sure that was really their fault. I highly recommend this company.

The Crawlspace Medic team had a pretty big project on their hands at our house, which was built in 1900 and had not received much "crawlspace love" over the decades until we bought it recently. They cleaned out the crawl space, put in a vapor barrier, installed an interior french drain, and installed a sump pump to keep water from accumulating under the house. Max and Josh were wonderful to work with and Trammell and the repair workers onsite were all extremely professional, communicative, and kind! I felt good having them in our space and trusted that they were doing high quality work! The onsite team checked in each day and notified us when they were running out for a part or to grab lunch. I was never left wondering what their schedule was or if they'd stepped away - such a differentiator compared to other service companies. Can't recommend Crawlspace Medic enough!

Let me just say, I was calling several businesses around Atlanta for a crawlspace inspection and when I called Crawlspace Medic, the person on the phone (Ashlee M.) was amazing! Super friendly, cordial, was able to get our inspection set up in a timely fashion. She was easily the BEST and most helpful person I spoke to today. We used Crawlspace Medic to update our moisture barrier and to install a French drain in the Crawlspace to help with some moisture challenges we were having. Tramell and his team were very professional and explained very clearly where we had issues and how they could help. Everyone was very friendly and personable, and did a great job keeping us updated on their arrival and project progress. They were here on time and did great work. We moved to Georgia recently from the West Coast...and I had never even heard of a “crawl space” before we purchased this home. I had a lot of questions! Max came out and gave us an estimate of what we needed to bring the space to an optimum working condition.
