Had clear efficiency come out in November of 2024 to give quote for attic reseal and new insulation. Don was very professional and explained everything from work to rebates. I then asked about updating my HVAC system in my house and he also went over everything and was not pushy just provided estimates. I was very happy with his service that I got both the attic and HVAC redone with them. Jesse and his team got me right in and worked around my busy work schedule and was even able to get the attic done while I was at work. We did have some hiccups with the rebate for the work but I got all the rebates and I’m very pleased with there quality of work. Would recommend to anyone.

Clear Efficiency supplied and installed eighteen (18) Maxeon Max 3 solar panels at my home (Maxeon’s extended 40-year warranty requires registration). Clear Efficiency is very knowledgeable and experienced, offering me the latest solar panel technology. Their pricing is competitive and the installation was professional and executed on schedule. They submitted the NEM application, took care of the permitting, and provided financing, making the whole processes hassle free. Before this, I was paying high electrical and gas utility bills to PGE. After the first 12 months, my solar panel system generated a surplus of over 3,000 kWh, making me eligible for a Net Surplus Compensation at True-Up. Since then I purchased an electric vehicle and I expect my solar panel system to power most of my home’s electrical energy usage, including a Central Air/Heat Comfort Heat Pump system and Heat Pump Hybrid Water Heater.

They used Rotten Wood to build my cat walk in the attic that i had in a pile to throw away and they also did not pass inspection

The most dysfunctional and unorganized company by far.... clearly not a 5 star company i would not recommend their business to anyone thank you ..

I was experiencing trouble with my air conditioning unit for the past two summers. I was getting no airflow and my house would not cool lower than 85°. I called Clear Efficiency and they came out and quoted me a price and I was so impressed that I decided to go with them. Their crew came out and was polite, professional, and did an outstanding job installing both my air conditioner and heater. The crew’s answered my questions and continue to update me on what they were doing, they even cleaned up after themselves. They wrapped the walls where the heater was to control the heat in that space. They installed new ductwork and installation, again fixing the leaks that were happening in the old system. The team's completed the job on time and as quoted. I’ve used the Air conditioner now for two days and it is working absolutely phenomenal. It’s cooling my house like I’ve never seen before and I couldn’t be more pleased with the process and outcome working with Clear Efficiency. Their communication was super from start to finish. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a quality product and professional services for your needs of an air-conditioning unit. Absolutely the best company I’ve ever worked with. Update- have had this system for over 6 months and my summer energy bills have drop by 8% a great savings. Now onto the winter savings!

We couldn’t be happier with the work that Clear Efficiency did on making our home more comfortable and quieter! Other vendors have come through for different jobs and remarked that the attic renovation seemed above and beyond the kind of work they normally see. When I had a couple questions about the job, they didn’t hesitate to come out the same day and help me understand the different aspects of the sealing job they did and how exactly it’s benefiting our energy usage and comfort. I had a wonderful experience with Breyen, the service advisor at Clear Efficiency, who helped me clean out, seal and place new insulation in my attic. He was very patient with me as I had a lot of questions throughout the process. They were very communicative and professional and did amazing work. SMUD offered a rebate and they did all of the paperwork and submitted it for me. It was very seamless and easy. I would highly recommend using this company and would use them again in the future.

I had attic insulation work done. Working with this company was the best experience I ever had than with so many other companies. Their responses throughout the communication were nice and professional. They did not ask for payment upfront as they stated it is unlawful to do that. They protected the areas they work with extreme diligence. They were on time and left everything very clean. They were very honest and clear throughout out the whole deal. I would recommend this company to anybody that needs their service.

I would highly recommend having Clear Efficiency to everyone. From the initial consultation with Kenneth Hartman. I've never had a more pleasant experience in dealing with a so called in home sales person. He was anything but that. He informed me of all the options and benefits of what different solutions would do to our house. He was SUPER knowledgeable and took to speak with my dad over the phone to explain what he felt would help my home out the most. He was absolutely no pressure and overall a fantastic representative of the company. Once we decided to go with redoing our attic and having it airsealed and having insulation added. The home feels like a new experience. No more cold drafts. My hvac system runs half of what it used to and I've noticed a big difference on my energy bill. Kenneth found me a great finance option with a very low monthly payment and I could not be more happy with the choice I've made to choose Clear Efficiency over the other companies I had out before them. I had Clear Efficiency out to my home when looking for solar. I must say, I am glad I did. They had Kenneth Hartman come out to go over options with me. Out of the four companies I had out, Kenneth was the only one that I felt that was not annoyed by the many questions that I had. Also I found out that they were Pearl Certified and all their work is 3rd party Certified and actually adds value to my home. The panels I chose has a 40yr warranty with the best specs out of all other panels I was shown. From Kenneth to the staff and install crew. If I could give 10stars, I would. Thank you Clear Efficiency, I love my solar system with battery backup.

I had a great experience using Clear Efficiency insulate my garage and master bedroom. After getting three bids, they came in the middle. The gentleman that came out was very knowledgeable and professional. The crew that did the work were all very polite and professional. The were very on top of it and made quick work of the insulation.

FANTASTIC work. I called Clear Efficiency for a quote on adding insulation to my attic space and Breyen Newman came out for the bid. I asked about a million questions about insulation and the possibility of adding solar and Breyen was so thorough in answering all of my questions and explaining literally everything. He took so much time crunching all of the numbers and options available to keep me within my budget. Fast forward, today my new insulation was added and next comes the solar panels! I am very happy with my new solar and insulation! One thing people should know is it takes a while from start to finish. Thankfully Jeremy was with me every step of the way. Once we got to the install portion of the project the guys did a wonderful job! Everyone was very professional. They explained everything in a clear way that helped me understand exactly what they were going to do. They were on time and after looking around my home I could only locate a single nail. This was a huge step and I am so happy I got the work done with Clear Efficiency.

GARAGE ATTIC INSULATION INSTALL From the estimate through the follow-up everyone at Clear Efficiency was helpful, courteous, professional and friendly. The installation crew brought all their own equipment. It didn't take long to do the installation. They did a superb job cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend them for your insulation installation.

Clear Efficiency was amazing from the first consultation to the final walk-through! On top of that, they were super flexible with my schedule (life was hectic and I had to re-schedule several times), so I really appreciated that. The consultant for the initial estimate was knowledgeable and thorough. He also didn't try and upsell me too hard on more expensive services - was honest about what my house truly needed and nothing more. Installation was great. My wife and I both work from home and we have a newborn. Our day went by as normal (with the obvious noise, of course). Couldn't have asked for an easier install! Lastly, the final walkthrough was thorough. They made sure that I was satisfied with the work before I even handed over a check. And now I have improved insulation just in time for the blistering summer! Left my AC off while we were away for the weekend and still came back to a relatively cool house despite the hot temperatures. Would 100% recommend!

I had Clear Efficiency do some work at our home for insulation and air ducts. From the very start, they were great to work with. We had a total of 3 people come out for quotes and the other 2 didn't even seem interested in doing the job. Once we opted to go with Clear Efficiency, things moved along great with the project manager, Joe, keeping in touch and providing updates throughout. They handled all the scheduling for inspections and the SMUD rebate as well. On the day the actual work was completed, they ran into a few issues (no fault of theirs) but stayed to make sure the job got done. Overall, I was extremely happy we opted to go with them and would highly recommend to anyone in need of the services they provide.

I had a rodent problem and called Jeremy at Clear Efficiency. He gave me a free inspection and referred me to an exterminator who was very good and communicated with him on my behalf. I got 3 options for the blow-in insulation that had to be replaced due to the rodents. Joe kept me informed every step of the way and everyone involved was very friendly and respectful. Since the work was in the attic, they showed me pictures of different things that needed to be addressed so I didn’t have to go up there, being a 65 year old woman it would have been difficult for me. I feel they took very good care of me, were honest in all of their dealings and made sure that I was completely satisfied before final payment. Thanks to all of the staff I had the pleasure of working with.

I contacted Clear Efficiency to improve the insulation in my attic and replace a single pane window and so far I couldn't be happier. Jeremy and Joe have been absolutely amazing to work with. They always make sure to answer any question I have and are very responsive. They even went above and beyond when they found one of the air ducts in my attic had been disconnected. Rather than have me contact an HVAC company to repair the duct, they repaired the duct for me. They took pictures of my attic after the job was done so that I can have a record of how it's supposed to be if anyone else ever needs to go in the attic. Jeremy even contacted me after the insulation was installed to make sure that I didn't have any issues. Overall, everyone from the company has been great and I'm very happy with the work.

Clear Efficiency was and is a top notch firm from their first client meeting through completion and any follow up questions I may have after completion of the job. I had Clear Efficiency put installation in my attic, new energy efficient windows and doors as well as solar panels installed on my 50 plus year old home. The temperature in my home is so much more comfortable after the installation was blown in. Wind and rain no longer leak through the windows or doors after the new windows and doors were installed. My PG&E bill is minimal after installation of my solar panels via Sun Power were installed. When Jesse spent a considerable amount of time doing a thermal scan of our house, asking me detailed questions (and answering my own detailed questions), and providing a thorough explanation of air movement and energy loss just to give us an estimate for the work, we knew that we were in good hands. Clear Efficiency's attention to detail and care continued throughout the installation and afterwards. Additionally, they hold themselves to a very high standard and when they weren't able to access a very small portion of our attic with a vaulted ceiling in order to seal it, they gave us a discount after the job was done. This portion of our attic is very hard to access and there is no way I would have known. This speaks volumes about their integrity. We are so thrilled with our attic insulation removal, sealing, refresh, and new insulation. The furnace kicks on about 1/10th of the time it used to and quickly shuts off when it reaches the right temperature. We are really enjoying being warm this winter and are excited to see the energy savings and comfort during the summer.

Great service and unbelievable results! Clear Efficiency got our attic insulation up to R60 level within just a few days of accepting their quote. The job was done so quickly and cleanly, that we asked for an estimate for window replacement as well. They beat everyone else’s quote and installed beautiful new custom windows throughout the house. After all the improvements were complete we had the first negative electric bill EVER in the seven years we’ve owned the home. We couldn’t be happier!

I got a set of Anlin Bayview windows installed from Clear Efficiency and they make a big difference in indoor temperatures. I don't need to have heat on at night anymore! We are so impressed by Clear Efficiency and the management (Jessie and Jeremy) in their service of insulating our attic. My wife and I met them at a Home and Garden show just a few weeks ago. They effectively explained there service and product, focusing on what we needed. Our house is old and had not had any service to the insulation from the time it was built. We suffered in both the winter and summer and we are now confident that the service we had done will make our home much better. They came in the first day and removed the old batting and minimal insulation; sealed the cracks and fixtures; and disinfected the floor of the attic. The next day they re-batted the walls and sky lights, then blew in R60 insulation. The process was quick, the workers were polite and efficient and they cleaned the area before leaving. Both Jessie and Jeremy came to our house to made sure that we understood the process before the service, during the service, and after the service was completed.

Jesse came out to diagnose our leaky window and spent several hours going over it, our insulation level (turns out its pretty good) and other places where we were losing efficiency. His FLIR tool proved the window turned out not to need fixing. I am glad I asked him to come as I would have probably paid another company for a costly new window I didn't need.

I had insulation blown into attic and new windows installed by Clear Efficiency. Craftsmanship was impeccable and am more than happy with the final product. I didn't think about insulation but met Jesse at Auburn Home show and he offered a thermal inspection. I was impressed that as the owner he was doing shows, doing the inspection, estimating, scheduling of the job, arranged zero financing and was on site managing and ensure it got done right, They sealed all the air leaks around ceiling seams and ceiling lights and we had a ton of them. Sprayed in additional insulation and were in and out fast, no mess no fuss. House is noticeably cooler --i.e, there is little temperature change during the day or night. Before the job we would be running A/C anytime we topped 80. today hit 90 and interior was 74 when I got home with no air. This winter should be nice and cozy.

He thoroughly checked every window of my home from the outside and inside, as well as my attic for energy efficiency. He used a high tech thermal camera that detects air leaks and excessive heat. The thermal camera helps him make accurate recommendations that would make your home’s energy efficiency work better for you financially, decreasing your monthly energy bills.
