I asked Climate Doctors to clean my ceiling vent openings after I discovered that popcorn ceiling had been blown into the vents during the construction of the house and sat there for years collecting humidity and eventually mold! They did a thorough and professional job, cleaning up the mess and left my house better than it was before! I would not hesitate to use them again for any vent cleaning needed!

In researching to have my ducts cleaned, I came upon your company. Taking into consideration that some people can be difficult to please, it is your comments of threats, CAPITALIZED WORDS, and suing customers that turned me off.

I had some work done by Climate Doctors. They were fantastic through and through. I had a turbine vent, insulation, and duct sealing work done, and the numbers are in! When comparing my Ecobee runtime data + outdoor temp + indoor temp (by room), I can see: A 43.9% (10.7hr -> 6hr) reduction in average A/C Cooling Hours per day (after normalizing data to outdoor temperature) A 39.1% (18.4m -> 11.2m) reduction in cycle length when the A/C was on After the IRA tax credits, my electricity company's $500 credit for having this work done, and my projected savings on my electricity bill brings me to, drum roll please: A very conservatively projected <15mo ROI on having this work done. It is likely to be closer to 10 months. Folks, for a house project, it does not get much better than that. All of these numbers are in line with what I was told during the energy audit, and I'm super impressed and pleased.

Sergio and Darryl knocked it out of the park. If it weren't for them, I probably would be in a world of hurt with the hvac system. Paul came though with the energy assessment and gave me some good tips to ensure my ac unit ran at optimal levels. Highly recommend.

Really helpful and informative energy audit. We moved forward with some of the suggested actions (namely updates to attic venting and insulation) and saw immediate results in our energy bill. They were the least expensive of 3 insulation installers I contacted. The person who came out to bid the job was the most knowledgeable of the 3. The installers arrived on time and did a good job. I give them 5 out of 5. The insulation has been a big improvement.

3rd time I have used Climate Doctors. They are great. My old residence, they installed Radiant Barrier, insulation and a couple of other beneficial products. Current residence they added insulation, wind turbines and an attic access cover. On both houses they cleaned and sanitized the air ducts. I will use them again if I ever move again.

Fantastic experience! They had excellent customer service staff, the technicians were here on time, explained the process to me and discussed prices as communicated over the phone, with all those taken cared of before start the job. They did a great job on the air duct cleaning, cleaned up nicely after the works were done, whole process took about 90 minutes for our 1 and half story home. We can tell they did a great job with the cleaning because even though they had suctions at the vent to catch the dirt, there's still a lot of dirt escaped the vent invisibly. We wiped the area close under the vents and there's lot of black dust. So we had been pretty happy with the overall experience. Keep up the good work!

Justin Hammet and an associate put insulation in my attic and I found them very helpful and capable. They even noticed that one of the ducts in my attic had become detached and he went out of his way to tape it up and tell me about it, even though he was just there for insulation, which I appreciate.

Duct sealing: 5 stars, it was quick and clean, loved it. Justin and Fernando were great. Duct cleaning: this is what brings the overall down to 4. I followed the directions they gave about clearing the area directly underneath and around the ducts so they could put down their materials to keep my house clean. They put down covers right under the vents, but in the process of cleaning one vent, clouds of black dust would shoot out another and it has coated everything downstairs, not just around the vent. I asked them about it and they said that usually the vents aren't that closely connected so their process isn't to cover the others while doing one, and they said only 1 house in 50 is this bad in the vents so usually not that much comes out. Even if most houses aren't that bad, that doesn't really help me who had to spend two full days cleaning a layer of black dust off of everything. I'm also doing some kitchen cabinet work so all my dishes and utensils and food was out on tables, and I'm still unpacking in other places so a lot of stuff is just out rather than in closets or cabinets. If I'd known this was a possibility I could have covered everything with sheets or blankets and then just washed the sheets. But instead everything got coated which is way more time consuming to clean. My house was built in 1975, and the ducts have probably never been cleaned, so at least I have confirmation that it was needed, but I really didn't appreciate having so much more unanticipated work created for me. The crew did clean floors and surfaces in a wider area than they probably usually do to try and help clean the unexpected dust, but I didn't realize the full extent of how much got coated until after they had left. If you have an old house or you think your ducts might be especially dirty, cover everything! And Climate Doctors - maybe consider making it standard practice to cover other vents while you're cleaning one.

Great company to work with, their service is outstanding. Very easy to setup the free "audit" very thorough evaluation, did not try to sell me on things I did not need and if anything was needed, they also provided options to do the work myself if I was comfortable. Their prices were very reasonable and their availability to complete the work required was excellent, I did notice a BIG difference in heat retention and efficiency of furnace during the coldest days this winter after they worked their magic. I have had my HVAC duct work cleaned by different companies over the years but was never given helpful information in advance as Climate Doctor did. I received email instructions in advance telling me what to expect and what I needed to do in advance. Staff, from scheduling to employees, who did the actual work were very considerate and provided great photos for me to view the ductwork. Their cost is very reasonable and I recommend and will hire again.

Truly amazing experience from the beginning. Paul came and did an energy audit as the initial step and made sure to educate us on the things that we can do ourselves to help alleviate the crazy $600 electric bills we were having over the summer. As it turns out the home inspection when we bought the house didn't mention that the insulation was not remotely up to code, the ducting had holes and wasn't sealed properly. Did you know every 2 inch hole in your ducting equates to a 2ft by 2ft wall in the side of your house? Paul gave us all his recommendations and every bit of education he provided he made sure to let us know that whether we went with Climate doctors or another company those things were still what should be done and what to expect. He gave us an estimate right then and when I had to go back over our budget and take out some things that would be nice now but can be done at a later date Maria sent us over another estimate quickly. The guys got here at 8am and just left at 11. They sealed everything, put up the rulers so we can see if the insulation goes lower than it should and left no mess. We have pictures of before and after and I'm very impressed with their service.

Representatives were very knowledgeable, helpful and did their work conscientiously and really well. Their cleaning of my ducts reduced dust in my house significantly, and their climate assessment gave me some very good ideas for ways to reduce my energy costs.

We had Climate Doctors re-do the insulation in our attic. Once the installers finished, we noticed an immediate difference in temperature on the thermostat. The temperature had been rising on these hot days by 2-4 degrees. Now, with the new insulation, our temperature stays right on the setting we have selected. The new insulation is definitely making the difference! We now have R-49 18" insulation! Thank you Paul Boyd for pointing us in the right direction to control this summer heat!

Update: changing it to 1 star. The owner Paul just called to insist his guys didn’t do anything. The damage is all just a part of my imagination I suppose. I was okay with 2 stars because the job was complete but don’t call and harass me about my review. I paid the company in full, company didn’t help with the repairs, and I fixed the damages in my own. 1 STAR. Did an okay job minus the damage to my home. I had some insulation blown in. The do not pad any corners or edges. The hose will damage your edges and walls. I would recommend you pad the edges yourself before they do the job. I informed them about the damages but they still charges me full price for the services. They could have knocked a few bucks off for me having to repaint the areas and applying putty to all nicks. I only gave them 2 stars because they actually did the job. Won’t be using again for other services.

Strongly recommend getting an energy audit completed on your home, especially when it's complimentary, thank you, Paul! There were quite a few items that needed attention in our home. The technicians Justin and Fernando were solid. They arrived on time, did a great job, were polite, and were very clean. They took before and after pictures, which shows how much I needed the work done. We went with the insulation to ensure it was at least 18 inches, the duct sealing of the junction boxes and HVAC unit, and we had to reroute the bathroom vent. We even did the optional UV-C light, which makes us feel much safer and takes a load off, especially in this current environment of being conscious of germs and all. Great technicians, great company, and solid work. Highly recommend Justin and Fernando :) The email and text reminder game is on point.

Dissatisfied and Disappointed in their services. The 2 technicians came cleaned the vent but didn’t fix the dryer vent properly and it has come out. They are not willing to come back and fix the vent which is very disappointing. In response to your unprofessional and rustic comment, I would like to emphasis that I was told by your telephone operator that I would be charged a fee for the technician to come back and fix the mistake he did. This really made me upset which is why \i posted this review. Please feel free to hear the recorded conversation between me and her. In fact when I told her that I would be posting a review, she said she would talk with the owner and get back to me. It is my social responsibility to call out outrageous service providers like you over the internet for performing improper service and then trying to cover up for them selves when they make a mistake. Believe me , you are not the first and you will never be the last person to do such an unprofessional service. In fact, as indicated by your comments why would I never pick a call or open the door if I hear it as I need my service to be done properly. You guys need to train yourselves properly in being professional and also in owning up to your mistakes and being professional. Climate Doctors did a great job in adding extra insulation and wind turbines to help circulate air in my attic. They took full responsibility to repair and replace a piece of cracked sheetrock in the ceiling at no extra cost to me. Climate Doctors is amazing and truly saved me from another Groupon based scam that tried to swindle me out of $1300 on a duct cleaning. I saw a $49 Groupon for another "company" and since I wasn't in a rush I figured I'd roll the dice, I mean it's only $49 right? Wrong! A certain unsavory individual that drives around the state (from Houston) scamming people in the name of being a veteran, he immediately started planting the mold seed (spore?) in my mind when he stepped in my house. Finally this guy looked into the drain pipe from the A/C evaporator coil he said he couldn't clean the ducts and had to do a $1300 mold remediation first that involved fogging the system. Being put on the spot is a psyop tactic these scammers used while also feining being nice , friendly, and endearing to you so beware. This is where climate doctors came in since I remembered them being a REAL company having already seen this yelp page. I called Climate Doctors immediately and explained the situation to Maria and she immediately explained to me why this was not an issue AND the chemical fogging process and chemical itself is only a $150 service if and when Climate Doctors actually needs to do it. The scammer drove off after 3 minutes of waiting for me on the phone. Paul came out the next day and did a full audit and he explained me the duct cleaning process in depth and was even apologetic about the prior day's experience since they care about what they do and how folks get taken advantage of by the cheap groupon. Paul is truly professional and took the time to hear my concerns and offer solutions based on my budget, and made recommendations on where he would start first or even a "If you do one thing" type of recommendation which was the R49 attic insulation. I also confirmed Paul's prices with another estimate from a legitimate company and Climate Doctor's truly has the best pricing. So far I went with the following products/services in this order: *Duct Cleaning (long due) *R49 attic insulation *Fresh-Aire Dual bulb UV-C Whole House Air Treatment System The duct cleaning speaks for itself, it seems to be often overlooked portion of home ownership maintenance, and should improve our energy output from our heat pump, and of course the air is cleaner. The attic insulation will pay for itself with these freezes and the extremely hot North Texas summers too, in addition to sound dampening a bit from the outside. The UV-C air treatment system was an investment due to their being health issues in our family and my own allergies and asthma. I do plan on adding the roof turbines and soffit enhancements before the summer heat approaches as well while saving up for these. ONE RECOMMENDATION to Climate Doctors: Train the vent cleaning crew on finding and resolving this issue encountered with the dryer vent. Had to hire another dryer vent specialist who used a snake camera and found an (unncessary) booster fan that was extremely clogged and not even wired in by the builder. Then had to find and pay a handyman to replace this with a piece of dryer vent pipe, but it seems easy enough to do DIY as there was an access panel in the bedroom closet wall, and the booster fan is only wrapped in place on the pipe so no cutting or welding or anything complicated is needed, just the time and calls I had to make to find others to take care of this. Not a complaint just a solid recommendation. Thank you to Paul, Maria, and the crew of Climate Doctors and I wish I had made some of these investments years back.

Really bad experience with the radiant barrier installation and the blown in insulation. The tech did not seal the AC vent prior to spraying the barrier and it blew from the attic into our home office. We were told the radiant barrier material was water soluble and would wash off - it does not and is permanently coated on everything in our home office. The technician sprayed the insulation in to the condensate drain which eventually clogged, costing us an extra $300 to have a plumber come and remove the insulation and re-route the drain line in the attic. The leaking in the ground floor is how this issue was discovered and it was a nightmare. Even though the texts regarding the tech rated him as stellar, it was obvious he has not been trained. I cannot recommend this company based on our experience.

They replaced the old insulation in my attic. Amazing how much work it takes to do that, but they made it look easy. They did a great job and the cost was more than reasonable. Plus the project manager and staff were all very nice and professional.

This company came out to blow insulation in my attic, told me the air ducts need to be sealed. I did it all, but here I am 3yrs later getting a new air unit and the guys show me it has been taped with duct tape which is not good and my attic was cool but not my house. Had it been done properly Im thinking my electric bill would have been alot less!!!

The techs discovered that none of our air ducts had been sealed. They cleaned my ducts 2 weeks after paying another company to seal my ducts I appreciated their honesty. They did a good job.

The 2 guys who came to work were very professional and they not only filled the room, they also sealed all the joints on vents too. Daryl was very nice . On time , clean and efficient . The only thing that threw me off was at first he said he was only gonna clean from the attic and didn't have to open each vent? I said oh that is not how it was described that you remove each vent and clean the outside as well. went to his truck then all of a sudden yes he is going to take each one off??? Also I was told they take before and after photos I would have liked to see them right when they were taken but he said he'll show me at end then when the end came I had to request them the next day because nothing came through and there is no way of telling which was a before or an after? They all look clean which tells me that we really didn't need to have them done even after 9 years ! We expected to see 2 inches of soot like an artery clogged like the advertisements show because I dust and 2 days later you would never know because of a film of dust on counters

I keep getting asked to rate these guys, so here you go. I would not recommend this company, despite the many glowing ratings, they're not the worst out there I'm sure, but they're definitely a company of salesmen after as much of your money as possible. We had extreme heat issues in our upstairs living area that prompted us to find professional help. This was the ONE thing we wanted corrected, somehow through some complete miscommunication, we got the side attics insulated for the downstairs area. We also got talked into sealing our ducts, and were offered some "great discount" which still amounted to $60 a duct. We thought they were replacing the ancient duct connections, but instead some kid put on kitchen gloves and wiped sealant around each connection. Took all of 5 minutes, and I could have done it myself for $15 total. Really what made the whole thing months of frustration was communication. You can't ask this guy a question without him rattling off all of his awards and certifications, dude just give it to me straight. They never made an appointment on time. The salesperson would show up an hour late while I'm missing work waiting for him. The kids he sent to put in insulation would show up an hour early and woke up the whole house. This happened several times as apparently they expect their clients to act as middle men since the insulation kids didn't know what they were supposed to do so there were repeated visits of salesguy talking big talk and then sending the kids to mess up the job, followed by salesguy talking more big talk and sending the kids back to correct their job. We ended up having to pay the AC guy to clean our units afterwards since they were clogged with material. it was a whole lot of headache, and a whole lot of money and the upstairs is still blistering hot. I told him this and he wanted to sell me more options, but I'm done with these guys.

The team members were ON-TIME, polite, were able to answer all my questions; meticulously cleaned up and alerted me to a vent with mold that should be replaced. The company also came in the spring to clean out my dryer vent. The vent runs vertically UP through the roof. I no longer worry about a fire in my dryer vent and now feel safe. I have recommended them to friends and family.

The representative that came was very nice and seemed thorough. He was able to clean the dryer vent in a timely manner and even showed up earlier than the appointment time. I would prefer to be advised if my appointment time can change just to be sure I am home.

Years of unresolved HVAC issues *finally* resolved after Paul’s team of Angel and Jesse spent 12 hours replacing rusted, filthy ductwork and debris in the crawl space of our 1953 ranch home. No more smell, no more allergies. Pricing was fair, quality was high, service was top-notch. 5* from the initial audit to the detailed quote (Angel came out and spent an hour under the house) to the work itself which included duct cleaning, sealing, and return duct replacement. Only nit is that we didn’t know they did not haul away the removed debris.

The initial consultation was very quick and easy (did it all before work) and then the insulation guys that blew insulation in were quick and the guys who came to clean out my air ducts were really great and very gentlemanly. They were very thorough and cleaned up after themselves. Great experience. Also the lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and called ahead of time with directions for the day.

Great company service, they arrived on time, professional employees. They went to work on cleaning the dryer vent, where a problem was found. A Net was over the vent so the flow was not going through, Darrell was able to cut the net correcting the flow. I will be calling them back to place a new dryer vent on the roof.

We called Climate Doctors this morning and by noon we had a crew working! Darryl and Brandon were prompt, courteous, thorough, and knowledgeable. They had to access a difficult attic area to reconnect the duct and did so with no problems. They even put our appliances back in place when the job was completed. We contacted them solely because of online reviews, and they did not disappoint. We would gladly use Climate Doctors again.

My dryer vent sensor was blinking red. Tech diagnosed the problem quickly (chicken wire had not been removed during attic vent installation). He removed the wire which was clogged with lent and confirmed dryer air flow was at the appropriate level.

Fair on the pricing but terrible communication. I agreed to have my house serviced but their guys came and left without giving me a reason. It took me 3 calls to their office to get someone to tell me why they left. When I attempted to reschedule they didnt even have the decency to call me back nor follow up. They are not a company that stands behind their word.
