Attic Crew

We had rodent activity in our attic and crawl space. The Attic crew cleaned, disinfected and replaced all the insulation. It seems to have helped our heater's efficiency. They closed all the gaps, sealed the ceiling lights, and fixed the bathroom fan exhaust ducting. They all did a great job, especially the crew lead Ricky Sanchez. We are very happy.

Attic crew did a wonderful job insulating our attic. Ricky and his team removed the original 1960's material, removed mold, sealed everything, added a bathroom vent and new insulation. We qualified for PUD rebates and they are a certified PUD contractor that managed the rebate process. The estimator, Tomer, and Ricky were very informative, professional and great communicators. We highly recommend their services.

We had rats get in our house through a bathroom fan vent. Attic Crew tore out the drywall, removed the nest, disinfected, replaced poor duct work, and replaced the cap. From Angie, who hurried her team to our house, to Daniel, who did the initial inspection and bid, to Tony, who did the actual work, Attic Crew was professional, helpful, great with communication, and very nice to work with. I had three other companies lined up to give bids, but once I met Daniel I signed right on with Attic Crew and cancelled the other bids. I am no longer willing to work with people who are not nice, who don't communicate, and who do not bother to educate about their work. If we could do this ourselves we wouldn't need to hire anyone! Nice people and quality work makes all the difference. Many, many thanks to Daniel and Tony and Attic Crew for making a tough situation (rats--ewww!) into a positive experience. Our experience with Attic Crew was excellent! I suspected there was something going on in our ceiling (critters at least), but our house had no access point to inspect it. Nick came by to assess the situation and provide an estimate. He is an excellent communicator, informing me when he was on his way, carefully inspecting everything he could get to, explaining our options and the potential surprises we might encounter, and keeping us updated while Tony and his team carried out the work. The estimate seemed very reasonable, and although the scope expanded once they started (due to mold and faulty prior ventilation ductwork), the additional costs were also fairly priced (and less than I anticipated). Tony and his crew were punctual, polite, professional, and diligent. They protected everything from the front door to the work zone and left the area clean afterward. They created a new access panel for us, thoroughly cleaned a rather challenging crawlspace (affected by rodents and mold), sealed everything to prevent future intrusions, replaced all the old insulation with new, and corrected the ductwork. I am very satisfied with the final outcome and would definitely recommend Attic Crew to friends or hire them again in the future!

I hired this company for insulation replacement in the crawl space and attic, as well as rodent treatment and prevention. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work. There were some minor issues at the beginning, but after my call everything was quickly corrected without any conflict or unnecessary discussion — just a simple human factor. Exceeded our expectations. The attic in our house was sparsely covered with outdated and previously rodent infested clumpy pink insulation. We requested a bid from The Attic Crew. After his initial inspection, Daniel offered us some recommendations and a few options to choose from. Diego and his team removed our old pink insulation and thoroughly cleaned, inspected, air-sealed and then rodent proofed our attic. They installed proper ducting and roof ventilation for our two bathrooms and kitchen range hood. They work very quickly and quietly and walked us through before and after photos before leaving. I seriously wish there was a zero option! The worst experience you could ever imagine. Poor work, total disrespect for me, my property and my neighbors property. Did not do the work that the estimater said would be done. But the worst part is, they kept doing the disrespectful behavior, even after they were asked to stop it? Plus, there was only one person that spoke broken English, which made it a joy to communicate? My wife has COPD, and these guys could care less! The house was filled with insulation debris. And, I just took the cover off of the shelf unit next to the access point, and they completely broke the top of it using it as a step, I guess? I could go on, but you get the point.

The whole interaction with Attic Crew from the very beginning with the initial quote through to the job completion made us feel completely well taken care of. They're efficient and completely thorough. Shout out to the on-site project manager, Ricky Ricardo (yes, his real name, like the character from I Love Lucy, but he's a great sport about it) - who came early and stayed late to make sure we knew what was going on and were fully satisfied with the complete job, with a walkthrough and pictures of everything from end to end. Ricky is a guy who cares about a job done right and cares that the customers are completely comfortable, happy, and satisfied. Ricky came in before the crew started, walked us through how the job would go, made sure that all of our personal belongings were moved far away or protected by plastic throughout the garage and all the way through to the crawlspace access near the kitchen. The taped-up plastic "hallway" they created to prevent fiberglass and biohazard waste from leaking out into the house was going to block off part of the house, so Ricky made sure that we would have access to everything we needed, and offered to cut holes or coordinate crossings through as necessary. For the 3.5 years we've lived in this house I've been scared to even put my head down in the crawlspace, and by the end of the job I was ready to stand in there and take my own pictures of the space. Thankfully I didn't even have to take my own pictures, because Ricky organized sending me hundreds of before and after pictures from everyone on the crew. I have so many pictures now I could draw a pretty good map of my crawlspace without ever crawling through it. The price (spoiler: great!) Where other companies tried to quote for a smaller scope of work to keep costs within our budget, Attic Crew combined a completely thorough top-to-bottom job with guaranteed PSE rebates (as appropriate to our case) to meet our budget and then some. This was actually the best quote we got in two ways. First, this job was scoped to everything we wanted and more, no cutting corners. Second, it was the cheapest quote overall by about $500 thanks to PSE rebates that Attic Crew guarantees. Attic Crew takes care of the PSE rebates on their end, no paperwork for us. They included line items on the quote to show us how much we were saving from the rebates, but the sales rep, Tom, guaranteed me that even if they somehow don't qualify for the rebate from PSE, they will never charge that back to us. On top of that, they were quick to schedule the work only a week after we paid the deposit. The scope of work (extremely thorough): Removal of all old insulation and vapor barrier. Biohazard cleanout and sanitation. Crack sealing (foam, mesh, and/or cement as appropriate). Air sealing around any penetrations (vents, ducts, wires) into the house. Upgrade from 4" R-17 to 10" R-30 fiberglass insulation. Upgrade to 10-mil thickness vapor barrier. Replace dryer duct from flexible to rigid aluminum. The job was very thorough to improve our home efficiency and lock in the PSE rebates. As a bonus, they included cleanout of an abandoned rat's nest in a cabinet in the corner of the garage that the previous owner left us as a "gift" and we'd never had the equipment or PPE to properly deal with, and any rodent droppings found in the garage as well. Literally the only (very minor) issue we had was that we'd scheduled the quote on a day that turned out to be a Monday holiday. The communications were a little unclear referring to "tomorrow" rather than a specific date and ultimately they confirmed the appointment for the next business day. No harm done.

Ricky and his crew from Attic Crew showed up on time. They removed all traces of mold, rat feces and old insulation. Replaced all baffles and made sure all extra openings were sealed off. The crew cleaned up after they when the job was complete. The company gave a free carbon monoxide detector and installed it. While working in the attic, a light fixture got dislodged. They took a picture of the fixture to reimburse the cost of the fixture. We highly recommend using this company. Ricky Ricardo was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great job Ricky!

Ron and his crew did a fantastic job on my nearly-40 year old attic. It was cleaned out and all the vents were repaired and entry holes for rodents sealed up on a hot hot day, then they reinsulated my attic and brought it up To code. Ron and crew did an incredible job on our crawlspace! In fact, earlier this year they did such an awesome job on our attic, that we came back to them to do our crawlspace after we noticed an unwanted critter had gotten into our home. Scheduling was a breeze – after unsurprisingly being originally booked out quite a ways into the summer, they called us and asked if we’d like to move the appointment up to just about 2 weeks after we initially called them about scheduling. It was such a relief knowing we’d be able to get our crawlspace redone and any points of entry for pests mitigated asap after we found an issue. When the day of the appointment came, Ron and crew were punctual and professional. They arrived within the first 30 minutes of the arrival window they’d given us, and called 30 minutes before they arrived so we would know to expect them (it was a first thing in the morning appointment). Once they arrived, all I had to do was show them down to the crawlspace access, and they didn’t need anything else the rest of the day. In fact, despite the fact they were working directly below me all day, I barely even noticed they were there. When they were done, the work was spectacular. Our crawlspace looked so good it had me thinking “maybe I could convert this to some kind of usable space?”. Honestly, the work they did had the crawlspace under our house looking better than a number of garages I’ve seen in my life. And even if I hadn’t gone down there myself to check out the finished product, they followed up promptly after we paid our invoice with 120+ before and after photos to show us everything they did. Coming into a new home which had multiple issues throughout our crawlspace and attic, I am very glad that we had Attic Crew come out and help us get on top of everything. They gave us a good estimate on the issues that we had - cleanup after rodent infestations and helping to proof the areas that they were coming in from the outside as well as blocking their access points into the house, mold remediation, sealing off gable vents and properly connecting all vents, and installing a new vapor barrier and insulation. Erick and his team were professional and quick when we had some work done in our crawlspace and attic. The guys showed up to remove insulation and clean up our attic after we found rats. They did a great job on removal, fixing holes and cleaning and then reinsulated the space. I will call to have them come check the rat situation in a couple of weeks. It was a 100 sf space and they were done in 4 hours. I would use them again. Not an honest company, beware. Last week I received a call from a woman named Summer who said she was with Puget Sound Energy. She said I qualified for insulation rebates up to 75% off. She said a PSE affiliated company could come out and give me a 30 minute consultation. I asked what company would be coming out and she said Attic Crew. I asked if there were any other companies PSE sent out and she said that Attic Crew was the one they sent out for these types of jobs. I started to get suspicious but continued with the call anyway. I asked her directly if she was with PSE and she said yes. She wanted me to set up an appointment right then but I said I would call back. She got a bit more aggressive and said she had a person from the affiliated company, Sandra, on the other line that could set up the appointment. I declined and after she provided me with a number to call, I ended the call. I contacted a representative from PSE directly and verified that PSE does not make these calls and that this was a scam. This company pretends to be Puget Sound Energy to sell their services to unsuspecting homeowners. If they are not honest about this, then they can’t be trusted inside my home. After the initial phone call, Summer tried to call me back several times over multiple days from different numbers. Most were marked “Spam Risk” so hopefully people will be warned away.

Ron and crew from Attic Crew were at my house last week. They performed a crawl space renovation on my home. The crawl space absolutely needed it! Ron very carefully described for me every step of the process and answered all the questions I had. Our crawl space access is in the middle of our house, so Ron and crew took special care before they started working to set up a plastic tunnel to keep any debris out of the living space. I appreciate that they also insulated my copper pipes and took extra care when sealing up places where rodents could get in. When they were done everything was so cleaned up that you never would have known anyone was there. A great experience and I am thankful to have that project completed. Also, my home qualified for energy rebates for this project. Attic Crew took care of all necessary paperwork for this part of the process and explained how it all worked. I got a great rebate and didn't have to do anything extra to get it. So great crew and great business.

Love the Attic Crew! 2 shout-out’s: First, Ron and his team came out and worked their asses off for 2 days, removing a bunch of old insulation and reprise from both our attic and crawl space and doing a bang up job re insulating and moisture barrier-ing and putting out traps for our rodents. Before that, the crew had put together a thorough estimate and inspection with detailed photos. Very thorough and efficient and easy to work with. Second, about a month later, Jose from the crew came out and did a re-inspection to make sure everything was tip top and to make sure there was no rodent activity. Jose took lots of pics and was very efficient/easy to work with. Great team, Attic Crew!

Ron and his crew did a great job with our crawlspace clean up and replacement. They were very informative and professional. They were very good with preparing the surrounding before working so it's protected from dust and debris when they are working. I would recommend them.

We had our crawl space sprayed and dried and sealed etc. It was several thousand dollars but we shopped it around and that was a good price. They did excellent work and have returned two different times under warranty. We had a pipe burst and they came and took care of all the standing water and drying out etc. Then sealed everything up again. They also identified a separate issue we ended up needing to remediate. Would 100% hire them for future work

Experience was pretty solid. We had mold remediation in the attic and ensuring a crawlspace will not get pests in there. Typically I never go into the crawl space, but after their work was done it was super clean and looks well done. Traps are set and if rodents get caught they can evaluate any fixes which is great. The attic was pretty large and I can't see anything but everything was way way cleaner and more importantly baffles are setup and vents that were not venting right from shower fans were fixed. Estimate wise it was pretty close to the work done, though the final bill was a bit higher than estimate due to extra stuff found. There was some additional mold found in the crawlspace that wasn't detected before, it was under the insulation, not entirely surprising. Overall super happy to have the mold removed and crawlspace cleaned up, thanks to Ron and his crew. Ron kept me in the loop on things as the day went along. They were able to get this done in the day.

Attic Crew has been great to work with from day 1. Daniel was very helpful during the initial consultation. Angie from the office was very communicative. Our attic needed a lot of cleanup plus new insulation and they sent an adequate crew so as to get it all done in one day. Jose did our follow up pest inspection today and he was quick and friendly. We were really concerned about the mold issue and the results of the cleanup are holding up great. There was some accidental damage caused during our install. Mistakes happen. What set Attic Crew apart was that they were totally transparent about the mistake and took full responsibility for the needed repair, which turned out great. Will definitely call them again if we need work in future.

Ron and the crew were awesome! Nice, communicative, efficient. Not cheap, but they did it right, so hopefully no more issues, but they do provide a warranty. A crew of 10 spent 10 hours cleaning, sterilizing, replaced all the insulation. These guys know what they’re doing!

Attic Crew did a great job on our attic and crawl space! Tom came to give us an estimate and explained to us what the problems were without pushing us. Eric and his crew arrived on time and Eric explained to us the scope of work at the beginning of the work day and reported back to us in the details what has been done at the end of the day in a professional manner. Ricky and the crew were great. He was a willing communicator while they did detailed, thorough work insulating below our house. They were prompt and worked around what was happening with our family that day. Highly reccomend. Tom the estimator was also good about staying in touch and providing a rationale for the estimate. Review for Mold Remediation and re- insulation for entire attic: Had mold growth and old rock wool insulation in attic. Called Attic Crew and Tom came out to my house. He did a thorough inspection and talked about my options. Never felt pressured, he just voiced genuine concern about the mold and inadequate insulation. Decided to move forward with remediation and new insulation. Attic Crew sent out Ricky and a team of five. They showed up on time and quickly went to work. Ricky provided an overview of the project plan and was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Loved how he got lunch for his team and then dinner as well (the project tool longer than anticipated due to the amount of rodent proofing needed). What impressed me the most, though, is how Ricky and Jeffrey listened to my concerns about mold growth on the interior walls of my children's room and helped identify what the causes could be. Jeffrey didn't hesitate to go down in the crawl space to check on our vapor barrier and for any standing water or excessive moisture. Finally, due to the attic activity my ceiling developed a crack in the plaster. The company didn't hesitate to offer to send out a sheetrock specialist! I was incredibly happy with the value and professionalism for this project. From Tom to Ricky to Jeffrey, every one was responsive and attentive to my questions and concerns. Would recommend this company for anybody needing attic work.

Ron & Crew arrived on time, taped off the work access area and began to remove the old insulation. They completed the removal by lunchtime and hauled everything away. After lunch they installed the new insulation and completely clean the entire job site! I am recommending them to my nephew and would also recommend them to everyone in the Puget Sound area. Ron and his crew were excellent. They showed up on time and stayed until the job was completely done. There were no upselling add ons like I have seen before. If they encountered a problem they solved it without changing the price. All members of the crew were friendly and hardworking. I was very pleased with their work and I am having them do another duplex. Great choice to do a difficult job.

What a difference 2 days make! Our crawlspace started with a little bit of cheapo plastic and water puddles. Tony and his crew showed up and now we have wall-to-wall 10 mil vapor barrier, a French drain system, sump pump, and insulation below the sub-flooring. For the first time, we're not dreading the March and April rains. When you are ready to get your crawlspace done the right way, I absolutely recommend Attic crew.

Although we did not qualify for help from PSE he gave us a few tips on what to do for the little repair we needed to do. Tom was so kind and honest about how to make our repairs. We continue to be impressed by this company. We had our 6 month follow up for our attic with Jose today and he was prepared and courteous. He texted about 30m before he was scheduled to arrive that he was on his way. When he rang the door, I opened it up to him already dressed in protective gear INCLUDING shoe covers and with ladder in hand. The follow up took less than 15 minutes and he sent me all the photos and reassured me it was all still sealed tight up there. Thank you Jose! Eric Libert and his crew did a phenomenal job remediating the mold in our attic. They got so much done in such a short time, working efficiently and leaving everything behind them SPOTLESS. They had to work with the attic entrance in a bedroom closet, bringing their supplies in and out of the bedroom window, but when they were done everything was absolutely spotlessly clean. They were also very kind, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend!

The team arrived early. They suited up & put on respirators. They put up barriers on the floors & along work areas. Crew came in and worked very hard for almost 9 hrs in our crawl space.We worked with Ron and Dan. They did a great job and cleaned up everything before leaving. We have confidence in the work they did plus the upgrade in insulation, moisture barriers, will definitely help our heating bills this winter not to mention the rodent clean up and prevention.

Joey and team showed up on time and spent the entire day cleaning out and replacing our crawlspace insulation and vapor barrier. Super professional and informative. Eric Santiago and his crew came in around 8am. They worked diligently to make sure the floors and walls were completely covered before they began their actual job. Before they began the remediation they made a tunnel with plastic barrier to insure that we were protected. Then they began the actual job. They worked as a well trained unit. It was amazing how quickly it all went. The before and after photos were absolutely amazing. I totally recommend them to do an excellent job for anyone wanting to insulate their home. It will save on our heating in the winter and cooler in the summer. Best money I have spent in a long time. The clean up went like clockwork. You would never guess that they were even here today.

Neither dust nor heat nor gloom of the attic... could keep Eric and his crew from completing a cleanup and re-insulation project in my house. The workers were quick and thorough, and despite initial small confusion regarding the square footage, they finished the job in just one day. I doubt that the attic of the house had ever been so neat and tidy. When preparing for this project, I got three quotes from different contractors. Attic Crew was consistent in pricing with the other two, but they helped me to get a rebate and offered a discount which allowed to keep the whole project within my budget instead of having to settle for a reduced scope. I also appreciated the communication. From our first contact with Tom, the estimator, the response times were lightning fast and the answers were thorough. It was nice to see that they actually were taking my needs into account and not just pushing for a whole package with unnecessary extras. Overall, I recommend Attic Crew to anyone considering an attic cleanup.

We hired Attic Crew to clean out our attic with old (positively ancient) insulation and a few mold/ventilation/rodent access issues. Overall, we're more than happy with their service - clean, thorough, professional, and courteous. The inspector provided a thorough overview of the work to be done including current state pictures. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and prepared, and executed the work as advertised without leaving a trace in the house. We were also provided with comprehensive before/after pictures. Overall, 10/10. Hopefully don't *have* to call on them again for about 10 years, but I absolutely would.

Attic Crew cleaned, rodent proofed, and insulated both our attic and crawlspace! When we purchased our house, the insulation was basically non existent, and those locations were full of garbage. Now everything is clean, organized, and properly insulated, and our home felt more comfortable right away. Everyone at Attic Crew was great to work with and very professional. These guys are fantastic! We bought an older house and the crawl space was in need of a lot of work. We were scheduled fast and Daniel came in gave us a great estimate and explained everything that was going to be done. On the scheduled day, Joey and his crew showed up and were ready to work!! They got it all done in 1 day!!! We had another estimate who were more expensive and it would have taken them 3 days! Joey and his crew were professional and kept us updated on every step. Alfredo from Attic Crew came by this afternoon and performed our post-attic work inspection. He arrived on time and efficiently introduced himself and explained how he would make the inspection. After he was done with the inspection, he showed us pictures of the ventilation and mold abatement work that had been done. He had found several small additional patches of remaining mold and treated them and showed us video of him doing this work. You have a friendly, professional crew who do very good work—thanks!

Really disappointed with Attic Crew's work. We had them do a full clean out of our attic and crawlspace, "sealing" all entry points for rodents, disinfecting the areas, and replacing the insulation. After the work was completed, we continued to have rodent issues, and every tech that they sent out to inspect our attic and crawlspace could not find entry points. After the 5th visit and continued rodent activity, we finally brought in another company who immediately identified numerous entry points. We had to pay another $3,000 to have them redo the work that Attic Crew did in our crawlspace, and since then we have not had rodent issues down there. The same issue has now arisen in our attic. We have rodent activity there, and are going to have to pay another $5,000 to have the attic cleaned out, sealed, disinfected, and re-insulated again. To top if off, within a year of having the insulation in our crawlspace installed, I went down there to discover that a lot of the insulation had not been installed properly, and had fallen onto the ground. You can see what I mean in the attached photos. They came back out and used fabric straps (I am not kidding) to patch the fallen sections. Overall, it was a complete waste of $13,000. Their only redeeming quality is that whoever works their customer service line is very friendly. I can't remember her name, but she was always very pleasant to deal with. The same can not be said about the quality of their work.

Juan and his crew did a great job cleaning up and rodent proofing my crawl space. They were quick, worked hard and left the space clean. Attic crew was a better price than the bids I got from Clean Crawls and Crawl Pros. And they were able to clean out and get insulation into an extremely tight and narrow space. Both the other companies I got bids from had refused to do that space because they said they wouldn’t be able to access it. But Attic Crew did it no problem. I was super happy with the service and price.
