Please believe the negative reviews! As an Army veteran, every Command had a list of Blacklisted establishments that Soldiers were not to allowed to use, simply because they were predatory in nature. This company would be placed at the top of the list! This company is bad with service all the way around. I have to constantly call to have them come around the same time of the month bimonthly. If they simply checked my history they would see that. They throw techs on the schedule and by the time I can respond they have come and gone. At $161 bimonthly, they should also be spraying inside my home each time they come. It seems they will just hire anybody. A mouse trap they set actually caught a mouse and the tech told me he let him go and it ran into the field across the from my house. So you caught it and let it go. What am I paying the company for then?? Each time they come they should be changing out my sticky mouse traps. Well they can’t change the traps unless they come when I am home. I will not be keeping them.

Michael is really thorough and conscientious, he took extra time to address all my issues, going above and beyond the normal routine. I have had a couple of technicians out to service my home and I was not happy. EcoShield needs more employees like Michael that do care about the customer and the quality of service performed.

I have been living in my home for 7 months. Ecoshield has been doing a great job with managing the pest. We initially had an ant problem since the house was empty for a few years. The latest tech Ronnie was very attentive during his treatment. He asked if there was any concerns. He was also nice to my dog. I would definitely recommend Ronnie and Ecoshield.

Great sales guy. Gave me the whole pitch. The service guy was totally different. Sprayed a TV waiting to be mounted. Had ants that persisted. They didn't "dust" any of the weep holes or things the sales guy shared. I tried to cancel and they charged me $250. Bait and switch. I knew better. Don't waste your time unless you want to be trapped in a contract!

The technician ROCKY, was excellent. He was very polite and very accommodating to my requests. That is who the 5 stars are for. I hope everyone gets a technician like him!! I am not impressed with ecoshield as a company. Their services are overpriced for what you get (don’t get) and I’ve had to make several calls to them about pests I have had. They wanted me to spend thousands to fix a problem that I spent about $10 to fix. Do your research before buying into what they try to talk you in to.

Coming home from extended trip noticed that ants had hills all over yard, wasp have established a nest in roof vent and on porch. Inside has NEVER been done. Terrible service!! Called multiple times to cancel service and get my refund, I had over $500 in credit on my account and knew that an early cancellation fee of $200 would bring it down. First agent told me I would receive it within 5-7 business days. Called again after 7 business days, next agent told me I would receive it within 7-10 business days. It’s been 15 business days later and I’m still waiting for my reimbursement

We have been using Ecoshield for 9 months now. They use a plant based solution instead of the typical toxic pesticide. I was very impressed with how effective it is . They come out on a quarterly basis and in between as needed. The technicians are friendly and do whatever you ask them to do. I give them a five star rating for customer service .

Top Notch Service! The man that came out was great, Mr. Dee ! Also did my mothers, brothers house and did an awesome job on all three.<br><br>Update: CAN NOT TELL A DIFFERENCE. Definitely not what I expected. I see the same amount of pests stuff from tractor supply works a million times better.<br><br>DO NOT RECOMMEND. They put you in a contract because they know their stuff is no good.

Deshawn did an amazing job! My porch has not looked this good in six years. He went above and beyond to make sure every cobweb was eliminated. Sprayed and took down two wasp nest under my gazebo. That I wasn’t even aware of. Would recommend him to all my friends. Thank you again so very much.

I want to thank EcoShield for not only there Good Work over the years at my Home in Fort Worth Texas. But also the one based out of Dallas I believe. I have there services preformed at my Mother House in Dallas Texas she lives alone and I’m not able to see her every day like I would want to. I have her pest service and mosquito service done that I pay for. It’s been brought to my attention that For past couple months a technician that does her mosquitoes every single month has been doing more than his job title… Apparently every month the technician has been going out of his way to pick up my mothers three dogs daily business they leave on the lawn. She is 78 years old and on a walker. Her dogs are her babies. This individual has been picking up there poop and brings them treats at times after he is done with his work. Not only that but also always making sure my mothers gate is closed correctly due to neighbors dog pushing it of track that way it closes correctly and able to be locked for mothers safety. I never met him but my mom speaks of him like he is family!!! My pest man in Fort Worth for EcoShield always does my trash cans! EcoShield truly is the Best!!! But Ronnie from Dallas truly deserves a special mention on here since he never accepts my mothers tips and shows that there still is people with Respect for their elders and That EcoShield is more to us then a pest control company there about us customers too!!! SCAM ALERT!!!!! SOOOO many issues I could list. I simple wanted RELIABLE (show up for appointment) and quality service. I continue to get text saying "sorry the tech has issues and will not show up" I let this go twice, but 3rd time I am done! They are a consistent NO SHOW! They NEVER forget to charge my credit card and then I have to argue about if a tech showed up or not and show them the texts they send stating he did NOT show. FINALLY I ask to cancel service because they are not reliable and the THREATEN me with more fees if I cancel because they are a continuous NO SHOW??!?!?! REALLY???? I am still trying to get the account closed. DONT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!!

Worst company ever. Confused with all the good reviews. Other than Taylor who was is their service representative, the company is horrible. The local office is rude and there is no communication between office and technicians that came for “touch up” service never knew why they were coming out.<br>The majority of technicians were terrible.<br>We have cameras around the property and saw that several of them didn’t even knock off nest and cobwebs or treat the yard and just sprayed around the border of the house and left within 10 minutes or so. They have had to come out multiple times for “touch ups” because of ongoing activity despite bimonthly service which is also on the expensive side. I was told they would be able to take care of our ant problem. Not only did it not happen it got worse. We finally got an excellent technician and requested him but was then told that he would not be coming to our place again because he didn’t cover our area ????

I will actually be canceling my contract with these guys after my last experience. The original technician who came out did not seem certain of rodent activity. Then when the expert came out she came down from the attic with a fresh dropping. When I went up to check the traps we have up there, that have been up there for months and to check the poop myself because the first guy said it was dry, I saw no droppings on the boxes we have had up in the past couple of years, and also the plywood we have placed down More importantly, the sticky traps I had up there with peanut butter on them did not contain any rodents. I called for a second opinion and our new pest guy confirmed that there is no current rodent activity. When I asked if it's possible for technicians to bring poop in with them, he assured me that companies he's worked for in the past have done this.<br>Additionally, when the first technician came out he said that he was going to leave an extra bait box. After examining our home all around, there were never original bait boxes put up. So his "additional" baitbox was really the only one. It has been out for a week and there has been no rodents chewing on it.

Called to get a quote from this company. The day they were supposed to come they didn't and thought it was to come 2 days later without notice. The lady that came was nowhere professional and looked like she didn't know what to do. She ended up leaving and maybe an hour later she comes back with her "Manager". Her manager said she would like to walk through the building to give us an accurate quote. I wasn't comfortable with it, but we allowed it. Later through the walk through she states that when she heard our company Name, she had to come see it for herself and see what our office work was all about. This was very unprofessional from both people. It's been a week, and we still haven't gotten a quote from them nor am i interested. But the manager coming back to our office to just "look" and not interested in selling her service is off called for. I don't recommend this company at all.

Disappointed that sticky trap was not changed out. For $182 I expect more than the quick walk/spray around the house. I was impressed with the initial service 30 days ago. Today’s first quarterly service was a disappointment. Both the garage doors were open so the inside of garage could be serviced. Would love to hear the excuse as to why the sticky trap was not changed out when it was full of insects and lizards. Save your money and go with a cheaper company. Do better EcoShield Pest.

Not only is it impossible to get in touch with their office since they use a call center, even if you email or text, no one seems to carry the information across to anyone. I had attempted to cancel around 3 months ago when I had changed my date and time for a service. Not only did they show up at the wrong time, they never informed me they were there until I got a messaging saying “rate my service today!”. I had emailed weeks in advance to ensure I would be home for the service and they screwed it up. So when I was cancelling, I was told I had 2 more services left. Fine. whatever, I don’t want to pay for my remaining 2 services if it’s that close. I was offered a $130 discount towards my next service as well as being put on their “list” of people to call when they’re on their way.<br>Absolutely no call, no text, no nothing. Not only was he late to the time I was informed, I only found out he showed up there because thankfully someone was home.<br>Now I’m being messaged and emailed about my bill that has no discount to be seen on it. These guys answer no phones and no emails. If you want something? Call center- and even then they waste more of your time. My mistake for giving another chance.<br><br>Tldr: scam. Simple as. You can find a local guy who will actually talk to you and for cheaper, guarantee.

The staff had a good attitude. But he did not know why he was there and what to "follow-up". We just paid more than $2000 for a EXCLUSION SERVICE and expected you to follow up several times to make sure the service worked. But you sent somebody who had no clue about that. I don't think is was his fault. It is your communication problem. Please send the original staff who performed the service to follow up next time.

This is only in regards for this specific employee. He was outstanding. He is the type of employee you want representing your company. He was thorough, respectful and knowledgeable. I don’t believe a company should be rated off individual employees job performance. To me it doesn’t represent my experience with the company over the last year. Very few of the employees have met this standard. It is very misleading to send me to do a review on an employee and then be directed as if it is a review for the company. They are not the same. It just shows how this company is shandy and that is how this whole experience has felt. Up to the point where they ignore no soliciting signs acting like they didn’t see them and still leaving notes on your door stating maybe you would want to hear from them. Nope that is why there are signs out. Even when you already have their service they continue to ignore your signs to sell you a service that you already have. It was a mess of a year. I did request to stop service but unless I threw all the employees under a bus for the companies short comings with awful reviews they don’t let you leave. You know what kind of companies have to hold you to a year of crappy service? shady ones.

Beware of the Sales people from this company just looking to make a sale with no shame or considerations whatsoever. As in the case of Christian Tapia making false promises so I would buy an exclusion service (I have all the texts exchanged with him as proof.).<br>Luckily, when the team that was going to do the work showed up, they were honest enough by explaining that the exclusions sold to me by Christian would not be the solution to my problem. I asked to speak to his manager who called me right after and he agreed that it would be a waste of my money and that he felt bad by taking it. The contract got dissolved right then, but the regret of believing in the Sales people from this company that just care for a commission will remain forever.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I’ve reached out to them multiple times, explaining that the salesman who visited our house on a Saturday promised us a “discounted test spray” if we let him spray the outside of our house and yard. He said he’d check back in 30 days to see if we were pleased with the results. My husband finally agreed after repeatedly telling the salesman we didn’t need his service because we spray our house ourselves with chemicals for $20 from Atwood’s.<br><br>Of course, the salesman proceeded to tell us how great of a job we were doing because we honestly didn’t have any cobwebs and didn’t need his service. He wouldn’t leave, so my husband finally gave in to shut him up and would leave.Then, he proceeded to tell my husband that he was signing on his phone for the services that the company was only doing that day for the test spray. Of course, the paperwork he was signing is on his cell phone. He then proceeded to take payment for what was supposed to be the one and only service at a discounted price for that day, along with a follow-up phone call or visit 30 days later.<br><br>My husband and I never thought another thing about it. We expect honest people and honest companies! Shortly after, another gentleman rolled by and sprayed our yard and house, then left. Over a month and a half went by, and we never heard from the salesman again. Then, we randomly received an email from the company stating, “documents you requested.” We never requested any documents because, as far as we knew, we had no other services or a contract with them.<br><br>Upon opening the documents, we found that we were locked into a one-year contract with the company. The months that they were to come out and spray our home and yard for bugs were specified, and the only option we had was to change it to quarterly if we requested that. First and foremost, we never requested or explicitly informed the salesperson that we were signing a one-year contract. Of course, it’s our fault that we didn’t read the paperwork on the salesperson’s phone. However, I never imagined that a salesperson would visit our home, lie to my husband’s face, trick him into signing paperwork on his phone, and claim that it was for that day’s service only. This dishonesty and disrespect from the salesperson and company are unacceptable.<br><br>I’ve repeatedly called this company, only to be connected to the customer service department, which is not even located in Dallas, Texas. It’s essentially a call center. They refuse to provide me with the contact number for the main office in Dallas, Texas, nor do we have the salesperson’s contact number to reach out to him.<br><br>I’ve made multiple calls to customer service, but I’ve only been told that if I want to cancel, I can pay a $200 cancellation fee, which I refuse to do because we didn’t sign a long term contract. We only agreed to sign for one service performed that day.This company and its salesperson are a complete scam, liars, and dishonest.<br><br>I expect a phone call from the local Dallas, Texas office to discuss this matter and have it resolved immediately. I strongly advise against using this company; I would never recommend them to anyone. After repeatedly telling the sales associate that we didn’t want to sign a contract, he refused to leave our home or leave us alone.

Zach Nelson, who sold us the plan was engaging and took the time to get to know me and my pest control needs. I think Zach signed up our whole block since he's quite knowledgeable and personable. If you’re looking for a masterclass in laziness, manipulation, and customer service so bad it borders on satire—congrats, you’ve found the right company.<br>Two services in, and my tech Dillon apparently thought he was auditioning for the role of "Guy Who Barely Shows Up." He was here for maybe 10 minutes—just enough time to pretend to do the job, hit a few spots inside, lazily spray the base of the house outside, and peace out like he had more important things to not do. No cobweb removal, no wasp nest removal, no window or door treatment. Basically, everything on my invoice got ignored like it was a Terms of Service agreement.<br><br>All that half-hearted effort for a generous $172 per treatment. At that price, you'd think they'd at least pretend to complete the job. But nope—had to schedule another tech just to finish what the original tech didn’t even bother starting.<br><br>So I canceled. Told customer service why. Her response? “We’re not perfect; we all make mistakes.” Ah yes, the timeless corporate motto for "we don’t train our people, and we don’t care." Because clearly, spraying around windows and knocking down cobwebs is some NASA-level procedure, far too advanced for the tech’s capabilities.<br><br>Then came the fun part: cancellation. Suddenly, I was being hit with Jedi-level manipulation tactics. I was told I had to pay the full 24-months remaining—but wait, she'd do me a favor and lower the price and contract length, if I just signed another contract. Ma’am, no. I’m canceling. As in goodbye. My contract clearly states I can pay a $250 cancellation fee and walk away. I had to repeat this multiple times like I was teaching someone how to read for the first time. She kept trying to rope me into a new contract like I didn’t just say I wanted out.<br><br>Eventually, she gave in—but not without trying to tack on a mystery $20.63 “tax” on the cancellation fee. Not on services—on the fee to leave. I’m currently verifying with the Texas Comptroller, but I’m pretty sure tax on a cancellation fee isn’t legal.<br><br>Oh, and if you're relying on Google reviews to make a decision—don’t. Yelp shows the real horror stories. If this company actually focused on service instead of deploying gaslighting sales reps disguised as cancellation agents, they might not have to trap customers into contracts and hope no one reads the fine print.<br><br>Bottom line: Avoid this company like it’s a raccoon with rabies. They don’t care about quality work, they don’t respect customers, and they’ll do everything they can to milk you for more money on the way out the door.<br><br>Although if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be back doored without the lube, this might be the perfect company for you, I’d say they’re pros at that, at least they’re good at something 👍🏻

Marques did a great job! I had heard he was the best of the best when I initially signed up. He was friendly, made sure to have his shoe covers on, and straight to the point — even gauging my needs when walking around my house to offer if I needed more traps, etc. Hopefully he’s able to do the rest of my jobs!! I’m extremely sensitive to chemicals, so finding a pest control company that understood that was a priority. This team was fantastic—Kyle took the time to explain everything they were doing and why, which made me feel informed and reassured throughout the process. I don’t know how this company is getting good reviews… our experience was horrendous!!!!! First off it’s the most expensive pest control we’ve ever had by A LOT. $200 a month …. And the worst pest control we’ve ever had. They did not do even the most basic of things such as sweep up the spider webs around the edges. I cannot get them to give me a confirmation of my account being cancelled and I’ve been asking for almost 2 weeks. If I get charged again I’ll be livid. Absolute horrible service … please go elsewhere!!!!!!!! Photos are taken hours after the supposed monthly service took place. Honestly I should be refunded, but at this point I’ll just be happy to be cancelled. Ridiculous.

This product is absolute garbage. Their sales reps have no clue how to sell and lie to your neighbors so they can make more sells. And their customer care team is completely useless. You’ll sign into a contract that is an absolute waste of money because the product doesn’t work on anything - ants, spiders, wasps, you name it. They’ll come service your property and you will see pests back within a few days. Even if they provide a “free touch up” service, it will not work and you will end up figuring out the pest problem on your own. If you cancel, you’ll get charged $250 for breaking contract. So if you want to throw $350+ out the window, use them.

I always love when Ronnie comes and services our home. He always has a great personality and always does such a great job! Where to start…. This company is a scam. Their first service was great. The salesman explained everything and later that day did the service. The bi-monthly service became a fiasco. I needed indoor servicing and was out of town the day they were to service. I communicated this and they re-scheduled. Then they continued to reschedule the next FIVE times. Having to work around their schedule FIVE times became a nuisance. When they finally did come out yesterday, I explained I needed indoor service, which they completed. I also explained where the fire ant piles were and that when they were ready to spray the inside of the shed, to let me know so I could unlock it. I got busy with chores and 15 minutes later, looked up to see their vehicle had left. As they had only been here less than 29min, I went and inspected what I expected of their service. Found multiple crawling spiders and webs - they decided not due-web, as one of the services they were to provide. The ant mounds did not have any disturbance or pellets, as last time on or around them. Each time they were late, I would call and get a call center. When asked to speak with someone, they said they would have a manager call me. Never happened. When they initially came out, the salesman said they do a lot of work on Cedar Creek and we’re trying to get new customers here on Tawakoni. I gave them a chance and regret it. If you are on Cedar Creek, you are probably getting ripped off, if your not at home watching these scam artists. The photos I uploaded are from AFTER their supposed service yesterday.
