I was very disappointed with Aptive been 5 months with nothing but excuses for not getting to me . But today JT showed up & was very persistent about taking care of my needs & assuring me things would be taken care of for from now on. JT was outstanding today give me hope that things have changed

I’ve had a great experience working with James from Aptive. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough in his work. James took the time to explain the treatment process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was handled carefully and efficiently. Just had our service by Juan. I love how he asked about my concerns, explained what he would do to address them. He found other concern areas that I wasn’t aware of. He was thorough, professional, great communication (as are all the Aptive Pest Control associates I’ve had come). Having never had a pest control service before until we experienced mice this past summer, Aptive was recommended by my neighbor. I’ve been extremely pleased with the company and highly recommend them.
He was very clear on the contract we renewed on 3 & 4 Soapberry Lane, and now I'm sorry we cancelled our original contract after many years! At least we were only gone for one month! We would like to request that we have the same person each time for for future treatments.

The technician Chase is very professional and ready to do the job in a timely and efficient way. Communication was excellent. He told me what he was going to do. The tech contacted me on arrival. We discussed pest issues and I expanded my service to include action against rats which have been persistent. He did the work and sent me a full report. The situation is sure to improve.
If there was less than 1 star, I would give them that, this company scams and cons people, I had another Pest company, the salesman came and promised big, asked me to give them 6 months' time. And did not mention at all that it is a 24-month contract. When I wanted to cancel, they said I have to pay the cancellation fee, SCAM!!!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!
Tawnya was great. Not only did she take some time to have a friendly conversation instead of jumping right into the servicing of our home, she asked questions regarding home concerns to ensure I was going to be satisfied. Kudos to her for being a great representative of the company. She made my day.
Great service. Saw some ants crawling on the counter, made a phone call and they came three days later. Wasn't my time for service but that didn't matter. Came out to the house as quickly as they could.

I really like Aptive. They show up on time, communicate, send pictures, answer questions and respectful of your living area. They pointed out a wasp nest that I didn't know exist. I have kids that plays in the area where the nest was developing. I'm grateful that cause it before it got out of hand.
They said they completed our service but they never showed up at our address. I called them to ask them where they were and they told me they could not find my address. A few minutes later, I received an email saying that they’ve completed my service and it had not been done.
As always the tech was polite and professional. I was lied to by the sales person about price. But like I said service techs are efficient and professional, respectful and polite! That in itself is very important to me, thank you for that.
Tech arrived and walked around my yard. Watched his visit and he did absolutely nothing to treat my yard. He then sent pics of not sure who’s house but not mine and had the audacity to ask me for 10/10 rating. I will be speaking to customer service when the office opens on Monday. Not real happy with this service visit. I will be asking for a refund and for another tech to service my home.
James was great. This is the second time he has visited. Very thorough, friendly and cautiously sprayed keeping our puppy top of mind.
I wasn’t home so my rating is somewhat arbitrary. I was notified that the employee was on his way. I texted back that the gates were open.

The Aptive techs are the absolute best. James always texts me in the morning that he’ll be coming and then again 15 minutes before he arrives so I can make sure my dogs are inside. He asks if there are any problem areas to focus on and is extremely thorough. He always has a smile on his face and a great attitude. My mosquito and ant issues have disappeared. Love this company.
I have had Tawnya the last several visits and she has been fantastic very thorough and asks a lot of questions to make sure she is taking care of what I need.
TJ did an excellent job. Let us know he was coming 45 minutes in advance, showed up on time, did the work, took LOTS of pictures and gave us a report once he was done.<br><br>Great service
NOTE: The actual service and all the techs (for the most part) have been perfectly fine and professional. This is not on them, at all.<br><br>By far, my greatest frustration with Aptive is their service scheduling. You'll get a text a few days before letting you know what DAY your service is scheduled, but no service appointment TIME "window" for when they'll show up. No morning or afternoon designation is given either.<br><br>Sure, they can treat the outside while you're gone. But if you need the inside done too, that means you'll have to wait around your home, potentially all day, not knowing when they're coming. Yes, they'll notify you that they're on their way, but that might not occur until after 5pm (just before dark in the winter).<br><br>On the day of our appointment at 7:52am, I got a text:<br><br>"Your service will be today between the time of [00:00 AM/PM] and [00:00 AM/PM]<br>I will also notify you a minimal of 6minutes before arriving."<br><br>Why bother texting me if a 2-4 hour time window, or am/pm, can't be given? And only 6 minutes notice? What is that?<br><br>Guy finally texts at 4:30pm and shows up just after 5pm. All day long, starting at 7:52am, we're waiting to hear back. Not a peep from anyone at Aptive all day until 4:30pm. Ridiculous!
James texted me before he came over just to remind me of the visit. Then he texted me when he got here and knocked on the door to let me know what he had done. This was my third yard treatment and he is the only one to text and communicate so clearly. He was very polite and professional and I greatly appreciate his professional efforts in contacting me and explaining why he did what he did. This is true customer service and it makes it feel like there an acquaintance is in your yard and not some stranger. Thank you James for your time and effort and wearing the clothing of Aptive pest control.
Orlando did a thorough job and was polite and courteous. The Aptive team always checks in upon arrival to see if I have any special concerns or request. I appreciate that. They also always follow up when finished with a recap of the areas they treated. Great customer service!
Damond was thorough with the pest treatment services performed. He was cheerful, courteous and took the time to explain what to expect in the next visit a few months out. You can tell he cares about the work that he does and about the experience the customer has.
They do a good job. Very thorough. The service techs are so nice and friendly. I like the convenience of scheduling online. Definitely would recommend.
Diamond came to service the exterior of the house. He was quick and even replaced the mouse traps in the back yard. He sent pictures of the areas he sprayed to show where the treatment was done. We have dogs so the pictures were helpful in making sure they didn't go into any of the treated areas.
Sawyer, did a great job spraying around my house to keep the pests away. Pics were very helpful and the notes about all he did. I give 5 stars to him.
The representative that came out today was excellent. Listen to all my questions and my concerns that his job showed me how to work the rodent trap. He is the cream of the crop. I hope this company keeps him for a long time.

Every time the technician comes to treat my property, I complain about ants. I don’t see any benefit to use Aptive’s services other than brushing the eaves. I also can’t access the customer portal. I want to discontinue Aptive’s services.
Juan V. provided phenomenal service!! He by far provided the most thorough service I have ever received. He focused on known challenge areas while also showing additional care to areas I noted concern. He was attentive to all of my questions and comments in addition to adressing them immediately and exceeding my expectations.<br>I felt very heard and I can tell he puts care into his work for his clients.

Worst COMPANY EVER!!<br>Well I'm not sure how aptive pest control is set up but if they go by locations I apologize if this is the wrong location. However they auto withdraw a month in advance for about $90 We did sign a contract with them, I love the technician however management has given the technician a hand spreader to do an acre of property when they came out and we switch pest control companies they were promising to get everything !! We got our first treatment and not only that we had to call them back out two weeks after our first treatment because they didn't do a very good job and things went downhill from there. You cannot log into the website at all it gives you basically a loop that yes you have an account change your password you change your password you can't get in they say you exist so it's a basic feedback loop where you cannot contact them their customer service is very poor, I have called 10 or 11 times to cancel my account and after we thought it was canceled we get a text message stating they're coming out to do service, they were supposed to show up the 14th of October to retreat and nobody ever showed up. I have cobwebs, I have hornet's nest, I found a scorpion inside my home, I got bit 32 times in one week by ants because of their failure to do what they're supposed to do!! I am seriously thinking of filing a police report on them for theft of service and filing with a better Business bureau for deceptive trade practice. And probably take them to small claims court to get our month that we paid in advance because they did not meet their fiduciary responsibilities on their end of the contract , which puts them into default!!!!
Aptive has been the most effective at treating our home exterior for bugs especially wasps. Damond was here recently and did a great job finding some evidence of ants to treat in the yard. We are very happy with Aptive and recommend them to anyone.

I have been paying Aptive for pest control for years and more specifically for at least 3 months after lawn man and swimming pool attendant both had stings - from yellowjackets.<br>I really think you owe me and my neighbor some compensation for extra expense. I find this company to be very efficient and so far trustworthy. They have always done what they say they are going to do followed with photos. So far so good and have no complaints.
Update: The new tech we have had on the past 2 services, Tawnya, is great. She is very thorough, identifying areas of concern, and resolving all our pest issues.<br><br>Everything was great on the retreat, however, neither the first tech nor the second tech had poles to sweep the eves. Therefore I still have wasp nests in the eves.

They came the day after I called, Jay listened patiently to my ramblings about life and wasps, then he got busy, addressing my issues. He was pleasant and efficient.

We had a bad experience with this company. The sales person agreed to not put a cancellation fee when we signed up because we knew we wouldn’t be in that rental home for two years. Then when we moved, we tried to cancel and they told us there was a cancellation fee. We explained the situation and we were escalated four times having to explain the situation to four different people and ultimately they would not do anything to fix it. Because we didn’t think we should have to pay for something we did not agree to we decided to keep our account and move it to our new house. During the first service in the new home, we had a technician who argued with us and did a sloppy job. Ultimately, after this, we decided to pay the cancellation fee and go back to our previous service provider who has been great, Romex pest control. My biggest issue with this company is that the sales person told us one thing and it was not honored, And then when we escalated the issue, no one within the company that you get to speak with has the authority to actually honor the decision either.

I have had issues with this company for a year. Every time they service, something happens. Today, my provider was on his phone the entire time. Never asked me what bugs I had seen and never told me what time he was coming. I have three young children and cannot be held in my home for 8 hours a day, waiting. I will be cancelling this service from today forward.
The guys who came in was really. Listen to my concerns and also did a quick follow. If possible can you please send him on a regular basis. It will be nice to have consistency with people since I don’t have reiterate all the issues again and again. Right now he was an issue that he took care and he said he will follow up in next visit. If we have new person I need to be walking. Him around again. Please have him for all my future visit

No inside treatment this time - tech was out of indoor spray. Tech was nice about and said he would come back when it’s back in stock but that’s another afternoon of my life that I have to now coordinate around. I don’t know why I can’t have a standing appointment time each month and the same rep. Getting a random text saying you will be here just to cancel the morning of and then put the burden on me to call and schedule and then not having the materials needed to do the job is just tiresome
We never received the treatment they promised to provide. First of all, when we signed up, they were not upfront about the 18-month term. We also specifically emphasized that we needed treatment for fire ants, and the salesperson assured us they would take care of the entire front and backyard. However, we have not seen any reduction in fire ant activity at all.<br>On top of that, their salesperson also promised chigger treatment, but we never received it—despite repeatedly asking about it and reminding them of what was promised. Yet, even with all these failures, we were not allowed to get out of the contract, no matter how many times we protested.<br>I had to buy my own ant bait and apply it myself, but what I purchased was not professional-grade. This has been a total disappointment, and we feel misled and lied to by their salesperson. After each visit, when we called back to complain that fire ants were still active—sometimes right at our front door—they would send another person to spray. Instead of providing a complimentary re-treatment, they charged us for a full treatment again. Neither the initial treatments nor the so-called re-treatments were effective.<br>This was a complete waste of money and time. We feel like this is a cheap company pretending to be professional, using the same regular-grade products that anyone could buy at Home Depot, without delivering any real results.
Adaptive was very well knowledged in my problems that I had around my house. I like the fact that it didn’t take them long to get me processed and out to my house the young man that came out to my house. I like the fact that he listened to my complaints that I had And his work was very detailed. Professional , he also had a great personality and gave me lots of insight on some of the things that I had going on in my house and gave me some great advice and I took his advice and I love my yard again because not only did they spray for mosquitoes, but I seen results quicker than I was towed so adaptive thank you I’m glad I found you and I will continue to do business with you guys
Dalton was polite, conscientious of making sure no mud got inside and that he sprayed in all the needed locations. I have been pleased with all the service technicians that have come to the house the past year.
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by aptive. My husband took a contract for 18 months with aptive to keep our house free from pest. It's been 5 months since they started with their service and let me tell you our house is badly covered with cob webs all around. Even yesterday the guy from aptive came but he hardly did anything, he said his spray has finished so he will put some granules in the yard. He skipped a lot of areas inside the house too. Also he said he has cleaned all the cob webs , which he never did actually. When I pointed it out he said his brush won't be able to clean anymore. They are charging almost $90 for each visit which is absolutely not justified with this kind of service. The pictures added are right after the service. We have decided to cancel our contract.
Without letting me know before my appoint was first thing in the morning and the tech sent me a message at 7:30am that morning telling me he would be there in 30 minutes. Why didn’t they let me know the night before? I did not have time to get ready or even tell him what my issues were. He treated the front but didn’t treat the back so I am not impressed with this service. I have had ants in my front office and after 7 months they are still there. They get you to sign a 2 year contract but the service is poor in my opinion.<br><br>Update<br>I tried to cancel the service and they are threatening to bill me 199.00 for canceling before the 2 years are up. I am adding photos of the ants they never solved and the wasps they leave. They didnt do what they were supposed to per their contract but want to bill me for cancelling??
Orlando was incredibly efficient. He is clearly very knowledgeable and was able to very effectively walk me through the process and made me feel confident in my decision to choose Aptive. He was very straightforward and honest in his approach and I would highly recommend his services to anyone who needs them.
I really appreciate the technician checking in with me and asking about issues or concerns. He took care of the concerns and provided what was done to remedy concerns.<br>All technicians are not equal so I really appreciate the attention to service, it makes me know why I pay for the service.
We didn’t answer our door to see what type of integrity your company has. I have cameras around my house and my daughter and my wife watched and recorded the service. First off the tech didn’t spray at all not one drop. He was on the phone talking about not getting his girl pregnant etc. not gonna go into any further details. The only thing he did was bumped the mud things off front door and brush the fence by the back yard gate and threw some stuff in the yard. He came in front yard and looked at a wasp nest which he did nothing about, even after we sent our daughter out to check the mail. This is unacceptable as it only took him five minutes to complete his service. I will be calling to cancel my service. You guys are horrible. I have video of him upon request.

This place is such a scam. They came around door to door selling their services. My husband signed up for quarterly service. He questioned the sales guy about service being quarterly and the contract stated monthly.<br>Sales person stated they would handle discrepancy at the office.<br>They came out and provided service and started billing monthly. Husband called to advise of the agreement to quarterly and they stated they would have to increase the price to quarterly pricing. Which he agreed to l. They AGAIN BILLED MONTLY for 3 months at the same time AT THE HIGHER QUARTERLY PRICE!<br>DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. We have reported them to our bank for fraudulent charges as well as to BBB!
Had John Vinson yesterday and he was amazing!! Very Knowledgeable and informative made me feel so much better about my situation could tell he genuinely cared. Will definitely recommend this company to my friends and family.!
We have been completely satisfied with Aptive’s service! We rarely have insect issues and when we do (usually ants brought out by rain) they are quick to respond and spot treat in between scheduled seevices. And their team members are amazing! Always kind, respectful, great with communication!! Highly recommend using them!
I always get great service. Sawyer asked if I saw any issues and treated the property appropriately. He also shared tips to keep the spiders at bay. Five star service every time!
I was schedule for a service on August 1st. And charged for that service. The technician serviced my neighbors house instead of mine. This is the second time this has happened with this company. There needs to be something in place to make sure your technician are servicing the correct house. My address is on the mailbox and my neighbor has there address on there mailbox. And when you put address in google maps it shows a picture of my house. Please fix the issues and do not charge me for a service that was not performed on my house. If it is rescheduled then charge me at that time. Not when you service the wrong house.
I recently had a service done this past Friday to resolve a wasp issue. paid over $200 for a service simply for the wasp to come back the very next day. They did not offer any reimbursement. I would not recommend this company.
Excellent work, and great communication! Thomas texted me prior to arriving, so I was able to make sure we’re home, which helped a lot getting rid of those annoying ants. Thomas did an excellent job, spraying all suspicious spots with care about the surroundings. Thank you Thomas, and Aptive team!
We continue to have a lot of spiders in the house.<br>The treatment left water spots and drips all over our clean windows that we paid to have washed.
The guy that came out Hunter was great. He gets 5 stars. what I had to go through to get him here not so much. 1.5 hours on phone getting disconnected and having to call back not so much. They canceled my appointment for some reason and the person in Africa didn't know why. Yes you read that correctly. I then spoke with a manager and she got the appointment set back up for us. So we will see how things go going forward. The manager need try and discount for our troubles. We will see if that happens.
Updating my review since the company continues to provide completely ineffective service: Kevin Arroyo sold me a full-property service plan that was stated to exceed the level of service I previously had from Urbanex and also include fire ant coverage for the entire property. If I recall correctly, he said he was a manager with his brother that ran the Plano office. After I received an email, it looks like he was a sales rep and lied to me about his position. Before switching to Aptive, I had just finished a service from Urbanex the previous week, and at that time I had zero pest concerns. The only reason I switched over was because I could combine multiple services and seemed like it would cover more property with a slightly higher cost. I explained to Kevin that the primary concern is companies scheduling service without any coordination and then showing up when I’m not available and not being able to treat the inside and make sure they’re actually treating the property. I was told the first day that the full service would treat the entire property, but the weather was bad, so there was concern about being able to spray the roofline of the home. Kevin stated that they would come back to do a second full treatment since they were running out of daylight and the weather was bad. As I monitored the crew, they sent some initial pictures, but I did not see them actually complete a lot of the service. It seemed more like they took pictures to show they were doing work and never finished each task, but just wanted to make it look like they really treated the entire property. All of the existing Urbanex pest traps remained in my house, and I was told they would all be replaced. To this day, they have never been replaced. The follow-up treatment was supposed to have been a full property re-service since the first seemed rush and they didn’t treat the full property, but I was not present and the bugs continued. Over the next couple months, I found a growing amount of pests in the home. Beetles, spiders, etc. I found wasp nests, and fire ant mounds began to multiply. The Tech had no sprayer or any equipment. They didn’t even give him personal protection equipment and the poor person was dealing with pesticide, and was very concerning to me. I gave the tech a pack of latex gloves, because someone needs to care about this guy’s health. The tech found a significant amount of fire ant mounts all over the property that were not there prior to my service and noted that there was no way the property could have been treated properly. A week or so later, I went to check the areas he showed me, and the fire ants were still present, which tells me the chemicals being used are also not adequate, and they’re just giving their techs granules and telling them it is effective when it’s not. I had service with Aptive back in 2018 and cancelled the service after about a year because the techs would always try to show up when I wasn’t around. If I was around, I would see them pull up and park, be on their phone in the truck for about 20-30 minutes and then walk around the property once with a backpack sprayer and leave. I gave this company another chance because Kevin Arroyo said all that had changed and that was not the same office. This was all clearly a lie to get a sale. Patrick Sinegar (Operations Manager Dallas) was made aware of my complaint and emailed June 18, 2025 with an apology, but no attempt to come rectify the pest issues has been made.
I have used Adptive for many years and have always been pleased. They are always on time, the technicians communicate with me, send me pictures when they get here, always make sure there isn’t anything they missed, makes sure I am happy before I leave. If I happen to need a retreat, which isn’t often, they get me on the books immediately. I absolutely love the customer service of their technicians!
The technician arrived at 8 PM to treat my property, but unfortunately, he left the front and back gates open. I had planned to go out for dinner and didn’t realize the gates were left open until I returned home. Thankfully, my five dogs didn’t escape. The technician was friendly and I believe he did a good job..
I had a wasp issue in my roof soffit, and the technician, Kelvin, who came out did an outstanding job. They quickly identified the source of the problem and took care of the wasps efficiently and safely. In addition to addressing the wasps, they also performed a thorough pest control treatment both inside and outside of my home.<br><br>He was punctual, knowledgeable, and very professional throughout the entire visit. They explained everything clearly and gave helpful tips for preventing future issues. I’m very satisfied with the service and feel much more at ease knowing my home is now protected. Highly recommend!

Via text Seneca kept me in the loop about their progress and answered my questions thoroughly & quickly... Thus far I'm very please with the service that Aptive provides and the good results from the products that are used around my house and in the yard... So Aptive came out here to my house to ask me question about species and I was telling them that I had real bad species and they had good customer service. The manager was real cool. He talked to me real nice and he told me he could try to help me a little bitso his people came out here they did daytime they did their job just right no complaining of nothing I also wanna give thanks to the guy that came out here his name is. Nicely thank you good communication nice great job. I recommend anybody to see these people give a good things to these people. Could these people are really great and how they do their job thank y’all so much. As you can see from the pictures, they did a really great job.
The Aptive agent was very detail oriented and did a thorough job. He sent us photos showing all the areas that were treated by him. We are very pleased with the excellent service and very happy overall with Aptive!

Jeancy contacted me 45 minutes before his arrival and arrived as he stated.<br>He treated the perimeter of the house, windows, flower beds, and bushes as well as the perimeter of the fence and grass both in front and backyard.<br>I am very pleased with the job he performed. I didn’t need to ask him of any areas of concern because he treated these areas without my asking.

The last technician that came to my house said he would sweep all the spider webs down off the eaves and windows. I specifically asked him to do it as well. He stated he did. A day or two later I walked around and saw that I was lied to. There is tons of webs everywhere!! Other companies are less expensive, don’t lock you into a contract, and do this without being asked. There’s so many spiders, egg sacs, and bugs around that I’m beginning to wonder if he even sprayed.<br><br>I liked this company 6 months ago. Now I feel like I’m overpaying for terrible service. I really want to cancel my account altogether.<br><br>I’ve emailed them numerous times to complain. I work a lot so I haven’t had time to call. Never do I get a response. All I got was an automated response saying due to high volume there might be a delay in response. Yeah, that was 2 weeks ago and nothing. Absolutely terrible customer service!<br><br>On top of it my “dedicated” account manager quoted me a much lower price on upgrading my service to pro in order to treat for mosquitoes and flies. I get transferred to a sales rep who quoted 3 times as much. Plus they want to charge a one time fee of $300 to upgrade even though I’m a current customer. Such a poor business model.<br><br>Some of the photos are hard to see the webs, but I promise they are everywhere! These photos are from less than 6 feet of my house.<br><br>I’m seriously ready to cancel my account and report them to the BBB.
