***THREE WEEKS HAVE PASSED SINCE WESTERN EXTERMINATOR ASKED ME TO REACH OUT TO THEM SO THEY CAN FURTHER INVESTIGATE THIS. STILL NOT ONE REPONSE TO THE THREE EMAILS I SENT THEM *** I have been with this company since their days of being Arizona Exterminator, going through ownerships changes to Western Exterminator to the most recent switch to Terminix. I had a fantastic technician who the company decided needed to stop coming to my house in the far north valley, near New River and they assigned me a tech who lives in Apache Junction. I have always had service on the second Tuesday, every other month. It has been like pulling teeth to get them to continue to honor this long standing agreement. Most recently I talked to the tech's supervisor about the sentricon containers being two months overdue for maintenance. Supervisor said tech would do it when he arrived. Tech knew nothing about this and told me I needed to call in to the 800 number on the side of the van to call for service to the sentricon boxes. I called in whilst the tech was at my home. They scheduled me an appt ten days out. I got an email confirming appt, and a recorded message via phone. I waited home all morning... no one came. I called in to the 800 number to be informed that the company, in its infinite wisdom, changed my appt to a Saturday in November, without asking, informing or checking with me that this particular date works. It does not. I ask that a supervisor/manager return my call to discuss this. That does not happen. A new tech calls me and he is the termite guy and he can and will come to my house within a few hours of the call. I asked for his managers information so that this situation can be addressed. Oh I forgot to mention, went through this same scenario last year. Manager obviously deems I am not worthy of a call so I text him a long drawn out message regarding what had happened and he said he was the one to have the tech reach out to me. SLOPPY!!! Obviously I will not recommend or suggest this company to any friends, acquaintances or colleagues and the reason I do not quit with this company is that I prepaid FIVE years for this service. The tech did show up and took care of the service but this would not have happened had I not been pro active in making calls and emails.<br><br>So much for the response from Western Exterminator asking that I reach out via the email address they provided. 3 days and not even an acknowledgement of the email receipt. Should I be surprised???? That is a definite NO!@#<br><br>And another week with zero response. Down to one star now.

The Service Agent was knowledgeable and patient. He not only had to deal with me, but my wife had a few questions that were previously asked by me. But Tony responded in a respectful manner providing specific information that was helpful. Tony is obviously a professional when it comes to providing services and in relating to his customers concerns.

Longtime customer through changes from AZ Exterminating to Western Exterminator to Terminix Western. Service is consistent and on time, pest control works. Receive notification prior to day of service and reminder notifications as needed. Responsive to pest issues. However, prices are raised without notification.

Always prompt, communicates frequently before arrival, upon arrival and any concerns after service. Would highly recommend Tony “the bug man” to anyone wanting to keep the creepy crawlers out of your house and yard!

James Kelton did a great job of diligently spraying each room of our house to exterminate the mosquitoes, including the doorways and windows sills. Then he sprayed the perimeter of our house, including the outside windows and bushes and any area that could be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. He was courteous and well-mannered while performing his duties and reminded me that it will take a few days before the spray takes effect. Thank you, James!

They use quality products and our Technician Mike does such a thorough job. I live in an area that is known for lots of critters and never had a problem. I’ve been a happy costumer for over 10+years. Customer service is top notch!

Tony, from Terminix Western, has been my “bug man” for a decade and I could not live without him. He’s removed roof rats, bees, and bats from my property in addition to my maintenance serve that keeps the regular bugs and scorpions away. He is friendly, reliable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Im sharing this review because they have failed to respond to my request to come out and inspect and treat termites activity that we have paid for. We have the bait system around our home and when I called to let them know of termite activity, they will not even return a call or schedule a technician to come. This is a company that I switched my service to, and I'm highly disappointed in that decision. Poor business. I hope no one else have to experience this situation. I probably need to contact the tv station to get some answers.

My experience with Western Exterminator has been great! They take care of a 600,000 square foot food facility for my company, inside and outside, in all seasons and all weather conditions. My tech Aaron goes above and beyond for us. I can call his company any time day or night for advice, service, support or any emergency. They have helped me get through last minute audits and picked up the phone on holiday weekends. I am very happy with the service I have received.

Use ANYONE ELSE. They don't show when scheduled and if you call them (3 times today) they lie to you and tell you someone is on the way. This company is only good for raising your blood pressure!!!! All the 5 star ratings are BS!

I have used this company for a few months now and they are horrible. I have a year long warranty through them and I would be better off paying all that money again for a different company. They have moved my appointment around more than 5 times. Without even telling me. So I move my work schedule around to accommodate and they never show up. When I call, the call center has no idea how to help me or what to do in general. It is so incredibly unorganized. I have to call on the day of my appointment just to confirm they are coming and the answer is usually, "I'm sorry it looks like your appointment has been moved to another day.." what am i supposed to do with that information? And when the person does show up he barely does anything, gives me zero knowledge on what's actually going on in my home and would rather talk about my life instead. Completely unprofessional.

Robert is our favorite, most professional, and thorough organic pest person. He always texts when coming so I can bring my dogs in. Robert is a huge dog lover himself, and he is thoughtful and compassionate about my skin sensitivities and my concern with pest control with my dogs. He’s the best. Very communicative. Took his time. The guys that come to your house are fantastic! The system of getting service is horrid! Call center that is not local and not knowledgeable receives your call which may,or may not, get someone local to call you. If you are dealing with a real issue, this is a really frustrating loop to be in. Corporate would benefit by allowing more scheduling control at the local level. It is a real frustrating experience for the customer and the technicians how it is currently run.

My pest control expert, Erik M, is very experienced in pest control and customer service. He always connects with me the day before the scheduled service and arrives punctually at our appointment time. He listens to all the information I provide him and bears that in mind in our regular pest control treatment.

Our experience with Western Exterminator was extremely frustrating and disappointing. After suspecting we had bed bugs, we called for an inspection, which confirmed the issue. The inspector provided us with only one treatment option—spraying—and assured us this would solve the problem. No mention was made of other methods, such as heat treatment, which we later learned is often the most effective solution. This lack of transparency set the tone for what would become a very frustrating process.<br><br>The inspector initially described the treatment as involving a team who would deep clean the affected areas before spraying. However, on the day of the first treatment, only our regular technician showed up, equipped with a can of Raid and standard pest control spray. This was not what we were led to expect, and when I called the company for clarification, I was told the inspector had “misspoken.” Miscommunication like this became a recurring theme throughout the process.<br><br>Over the course of five weeks of treatments, the technician sprayed inside the house, targeting cracks, outlets, and furniture. At the end of this period, we were told the problem had been eliminated. The technician “verified” this by using the flashlight on his phone, which felt shockingly unprofessional for such a serious issue.<br><br>Unfortunately, about a month later, the bed bugs returned. When I contacted the company to share my concerns, I was told we must have “brought them back in.” This didn’t make sense, so I consulted another pest control company, who explained that the timeline matched the hatching of eggs that were likely missed during the initial spraying. They also emphasized that heat treatment would have been the most effective approach—a treatment option that Western Exterminator never even mentioned to us. When I brought this up to Western Exterminator, the manager admitted that heat treatment should have been presented as an option but speculated the inspector “didn’t think it was necessary.”<br><br>This lack of consistency and transparency is unacceptable. Customers should be informed of all available options and allowed to decide what’s best for their situation. Instead, we were given incomplete information, leading to additional stress and costs.<br><br>To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund or even partial reimbursement, I was told it was only available within the first 30 days of treatment. How could I have known within 30 days that the treatment wouldn’t work when the process itself took over five weeks? We spent $1,200 on ineffective treatments, plus additional costs for a new mattress and other replacements, and still had bed bugs. The only compensation offered was a free regular pest control treatment—completely useless in addressing our issue—or another $1,200 for a second round of spray treatments or even more for heat treatment, which should have been presented initially.<br><br>Western Exterminator’s lack of professionalism, poor communication, and incomplete service make it impossible for me to recommend them. If you are dealing with bed bugs, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. They failed to deliver on their promises and left us worse off than when we started.

For over 10 years, Bill Smith has consistently provided A++ quality exterminating services for our property. He consistently confirms his scheduled visits one day prior to ea scheduled date and then again the day of with his ETA, in case I need to meet him there. Always answers my calls or promptly returns calls. Always delivers quality results.

(I am the church's administrative assistant.) We had termite treatment October 16, 2019 and purchased a 5-year extended warranty at that time. The attached pics show our current situation. We have called numerous times and had two appointments (Jan. 31 & March 8) for re-treatment but nobody showed up or called.

I have several opinions about the different services I use. The good one first: I have every-other month pest control. My guy Seth is the best. He is conscientious, and is impeccable about getting all the spiderwebs, etc. If I have to recall him in between-times for a problem, he comes within a few days. Now for the bad: I also have a Termite contract with this company. Before the company, AZ Exterminating was bought out by Western, they were great. Now if I have a Termite breakout, I can wait up to 3 weeks for service, which is supposed to be quick during active activity. The annual bill is set up to be taken automatically, but now no courtesy call or email to make an appt for my covered annual inspection and to refill my termite spikes. Without the inspection, the warranty is affected.
