Earlier this year, Top Hatter came to clean my duct system after a remodel. They did a fabulous job. I immediately could tell the difference with the amount of dust and the fresher smelling air in my home. I know dust is an issue in Arizona, my home has easily 85% less dust than before the cleaning , even before the remodel. Several months later, my son-in-law received a heart transplant and their home had to be especially clean when he returned. I calledTop Hatter and even though they do not service the area where my son-in-law lives in they chose to take the job. The minute my daughter entered the home after the duct cleaning, she experienced fresher smelling home and knowing that the air was as pure as it could be for my son-in-law gave her a sense of peace. I cannot begin to thank these gentlemen enough for their high-quality work and expertise and their willingness to go the extra mile. This was the first time ever having a dryer vent cleaning done. I found this company by googling dryer vent companies in the Phoenix area. The Top Hatter Inc was awesome and pleasant experience. They sent 2 guys out one that goes on the roof and one that works in your laundry room. They show you before and after pictures of your dryer vent which was super helpful. The guys also were very personable, friendly and answered any questions that I had about my dryer vent. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone that wants peace of mind with making sure your dryer vent is not clogged up with lint! Amazing service!

After I had a really bad experience with another company they were able to come the next day to clean my dryer vent. They were a two man crew one went up on the roof and one to my laundry room. They showed me before and after love footage of my dryer vent. This company is amazing! They provide excellent customer service, are punctual, professional, and fast.

Mike & Cisco saved the day (& a bird) this morning! We heard loud banging coming from our fireplace yesterday. I called Top Hatter scared that whatever was in there was going to blast into our living room. He assured me it was a bird, emphasized the importance of a chimney cap, & was able to prioritize our appointment to prevent loss of life 🐦.<br>They were surprised to see that we had a cap on & a skinny chimney- stumping all of us as to how the bird got in… but, they got it out, caught it before it took flight in the house, & set it free (before cleaning the chimney).<br>Honestly, money super well spent. Steve and Mike recently completed a large dryer vent cleaning project in our 274-unit community. Their crew was extremely professional and communicated the entirety of the job. They ran into some issues that were unexpected and made sure to notify our office. As well as handled them as they came across it. I've had two fantastic interactions with Top Hatter. The first time they came out to clean my dryer vent, they unfortunately ran into a problem and were unable to complete the service, but they were honest about it and did not charge me a dime, not even for time spent or travel. I was so impressed by this experience, that when it was time to clean the vent again, they were first on my list. Bert, Jorge, and Junior were friendly and professional and immediately got to work upon arrival. They communicated with me throughout the job and finished the work faster than I expected. At the end, they showed me pictures of the duct and even made me aware of issues with the duct structure I hadn't known about. I was very happy with the thoroughness of the job and plan to continue to use Top Hatter for vent maintenance.

1st, they called to see if they could arrive early. Yes, they could. They introduced themselves, immediately on arrival. Went right to work, were ever so polite. One worked on the chimney from the bottom, the other went to the roof. The man from the roof told me of a water leak from my HVAC roof unit. This was something I really needed to take care of, and wouldn't have known if he hadn't seen it. Thy cleaned everything up, and we discussed all we needed to. I'm very impressed with both of them. I will definitely be using their services next year

This is the second time using Too Hatter service. The first time the crew cleaned up and did a really good job. This time they cleaned my dryer vent but they didn’t clean the lint catcher or the floor after they serviced. I even gave them a tip! I should have looked at their quality of work before having them leave. Bummed at the quality of service this time.

The team did a thorough job cleaning all the ducts and air exchange. They laid down plastic to cover upholstery floors and carpeting. Cleaned up after, no mess or disarray. At the end they showed me before and after photos of the ductwork. Pleased with their work. Highly recommend.

We hired Top Hatter to come and perform a Dryer Vent cleaning and a Chimney cleaning. They were able to come to our residence the very next day. Two technicians arrived and the lead technician, Randall, was super-professional and went so far as to show us video footage of the dryer vent clean out. We learned that our 50 year old house hadn't had a dryer vent clean out since it was built in 1972 because Randall had to remove the original vent rivets! Great Job and Professional Service.

Usually I don't take the time to write reviews of services received but this company went beyond my expectations. What impressed me most was the excellent communication, begInning with the description of exactly what they were going to do, continuing with their careful preparation in order to protect my property and then with a timely completion and accounting afterwards. In contrast, another well known company in my area did not explain any details and wanted the full amount paid up front just in order to put me on their schedule.

We have nothing but great things to say about my experience with working with Top Hatter company and the team today. We had our office and club house air duct cleaning and they were so courteous and well prepared to cover all our equipment. Their cleaning was so obvious and the process was so smooth. The metal cap on top of our chimney tore loose during a monsoon storm. It was way up high over our second story and there was no way I could safely get to it. I called them on a Friday, they said they could come on a Monday and it would cost $450 for the new cap and to clean the chimney.<br><br>They showed up right on time and were able to use my current cap by just re-fastening it. They also said the chimney didn't need to be cleaned, so the price was only $75. Superb deal for what they did. They could have easily replaced the cap and cleaned the chimney and charged more, so I give them high marks on business ethics.

To be honest, it was a smooth and surprisingly seamless visit. My place is cluttered, but Jeremy and Max came in and were super professional while they covered the things that couldn't be moved out of the way.<br>They were delicate with the painted over vent covers, avoiding damage to the paint on the wall.<br>They also worked with me to avoid traumatizing my cats.<br>Super kind and respectful, it was a great experience! 10/10!

The guys who came out to do the dryer vent cleaning service for us on November 18 were exceptional! My dryer started smoking on Monday and I called Top Hatter and got an appointment the next day.<br>The guys that came out were so nice and very professional. They did a fantastic job and they also did something that none of the other companies that I've used in the past...they Roto-Rootered out my entire vent from the top of my house all the way down to my dryer vent. They also used their converted leaf blower and blew it out from the bottom to the top. They said there was a ton of lint that came out. I was so glad to hear that. Who knows how long that had been that way...long enough for my dryer to start smoking and could've caused a fire.<br>I'm so glad that I called Top Hatter and I will be using them in the future to keep my vents cleaned from accumulated lint!!! You guys are TOPS in my book!!!

We used The Top Hatter 10 years ago to clean our air ducts and dryer vent, so when we realized it was time for another cleaning, they were the first company we called. They even went beyond what was expected and replaced broken screws on a vent cover and trimmed our dryer vent hose to the appropriate size. I was impressed with the care they took removing the vents and covering nearby surfaces with plastic, then scrubbing the vents and meticulously replacing them, then cleaning up...but what took it to the next level was when they went to do the dryer vent.<br><br>We had the vents/ducts cleaned because we just replaced our washer and dryer, but the new set had not arrived yet when Top Hatter came. One of the guys pulled the (old) dryer out and showed me that the hose had literal holes and rips in it. It was OLD! He left a brand new hose and bracket for the new set, because he told me there was a good chance the installation guys would just assume we had them in good shape. He also showed me where/how he could tell the dryer had some previous work done.<br><br>We immediately noticed the air in the house felt crisp and colder. Shoukd have had this done ages ago! Cannot recommend highly enough, and will pass "Top Hatter" around whenever possible. Thanks guys!

Called to ask them to come out and do service on two chimneys. They promptly instructed me on how to do some tests myself and what results I could get. Said if I don't need to pay them and can do it myself then they don't want to waste my money. I would have happily paid them but they chose to be super honest and save me several hundred dollars.
