Wow! Interesting place. Run as fast as you as you can . Don’t let large marketing fool you. Their board up depart makes the company float. They are extremely incompetent in the electrical department . If you want 3 years to rebuild your home, step right up. They will have to redo things multiple times. With multiple excuses and more. Take a ride with Kowalski, it will definitely be an experience!
Everyone with Kowalski was great. Repaired water damaged cabinets. Now it’s better than before
Robert W at Kowalski electrical was amazing! We had an emergency with an occupied unit over the weekend and was quick to help and complete the repairs! He was very nice and always communicating with me the whole time. Could not be more grateful!
Robert W was amazing! He addressed our electrical issues quickly and efficiently. Thank you for making us feeling safer in our home! God Bless. Thank you Kowalski Construction!
If I could give Kowalski Construction more than 5 stars, I would! Their tenacious determination to correct issues my 1st contractor (now bankrupt) left me to discover on the night of Aug. 14, 2025 was more than admirable. Aug.14th was the 1st of 3 other torrential rain storms that flooded my newly expanded bedroom. I was referred that night to Kowalski Construction's Remediation Division. After another 2 remediations (both in Sept.), I was referred to the construction side of Kowalski Construction. Once it was discovered that my 1st contractor had buried my existing gutter over the kitchen area into the walls between my kitchen and new bedroom, they quickly began repair work. First they had to clean out all the debris and dirt between the walls since the walls acted as a downspot for the buried gutter. They addresses any mold issues at that time. Their price was more than reasonable considering all the manhours they put in just to identify the problem. I couldn't be more pleased with the work done by both divisions of Kowalski Construction!
I live in an apartment complex and our management hired Kowalski Construction to repair water damage I had in the laundry room. They did a great job and the laundry room honestly looks as good as new! The maintenance worker, Hunter, was very kind, diligent, and considerate of the space he was working in. I was very impressed with his work and would recommend this company if you’re looking for great service.
I have been using Kowalski throughout my 24 years in the apartment industry, and they have always been great. Ron Anglada has gone above and beyond to assist me. Robert Woodhall has been fabulous, and I definitely recommend them!
Robert W . is very friendly and professional, I definitely recommend this company thanks to him!
Robert W. from Kowalski Electrical visited our apartment and provided prompt and efficient service. We had been experiencing a lack of hot water due to the breaker tripping off.
Hunter came to our property connect on Union apartments and did a beautiful job remodeling a water damaged bathroom. All of his work was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have done it better myself! Please give this man a raise. You can't possibly be paying him enough!
Liz Remley has been amazing to work with, from getting updates to meeting deadlines.
Christina is awesome kept me in the loop through the entire process. I will definitely use them again
Thank you for making this right and understanding the circumstances surrounding our situation.
This company comes to your house and tells you, you need a temporary fence after your neighbors started a fire. Then after you're trying to fix damage done to your house by the people who started the fire, the send you a bill for a fence you didn't need in the first place! Don't ever let them put anything on your property. They'll go after you, and not perpetrators.
Kowalski Construction was in charge of our master bath shower remodel. They were proactive in their approach and kept us well informed of how the job was progressing and when it would be completed. The final product met our expectations.
Liz has been an exceptional service rep! Always available when I need her, quick to answer questions, and immediate response when I have an emergency.
Beware of all the additional charges they will tack on to the project that will exceed the actual cost more than double.

I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE TIME TO RESTOCK THEIR TRUCK, DRIVE TO THE SITE, DO THE WORK, DRIVE BACK TO THE SHOP, AND RE-STOCK THE TRUCK.

In addition to the time they charge over and above being on-site working, they will ALSO charge for a trip charge.

- Charged me for 12 hours of work after car crashed into my building and they were on-site for 2 hours. (2 crew members on-site for 2 hours = 4 hours of work NOT 12 hours.)

- Did not provide a quote prior to work and work exceeded $1,000 which is a violation of law

- When I called to get the quote amended, they would not change it.
After my brother unexpectyedly passed alone in his home, I wasn’t sure what to do since i live 2,200 miles away. Janet Larson and her mitigation team of experts took care of everything. They sent before during and after photographs. Their pricing was very fair and they were completely above board and explained the entire process before i hired them.
Hey Liz,

I just wanted to reach out to let you know how amazing my recent experience with Kowalski Construction has been. From your amazing and compassionate energy to your crew coming out immediately to help us with our flood. Everyone kept such open communication, and we always felt informed about what was coming next. Thank you for all that you do Kowalski is definitely our number one go to from here on out!

You’re the absolute Best! Thanks again!
Kowalski did everything in their power to get our house back to normal as quickly as they could. They even helped us battle our insurance and ensure everything we needed repaired was covered. Charles from the mitigation team is one of the best humans I have met and an amazing asset to Kowalkski. Thanks for everything!
We chose Kowalski Construction after a devastating fire to our rental home in Tempe AZ. We have been very pleased with the rebuilding process and the end result of the contruction. We were especially pleased with the communication from Kowalski. We would receive weekly calls or emails updating us on every step that was occurring. All the staff were quick to reply to our questions/email/calls. They were all very friendly, helpful and personable. Josh (the construction manager) even met us on his day off as we lived out of town. We dealt mainly with Josh, Harold, Ivan and Tara (in the office) whom all were very helpful. I would have no hesitation recommending Kowalski Construction (based on my experience) should you require a major rebuild.
Very professional, great comminication. Great experience!
Great people. Reliable Service!
Absolutely thrilled with the results of our recent project! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. The team was professional, punctual, and paid close attention to every detail. Janet was extremely helpful and kept me completely updated. The quality of the craftsmanship is exceptional, and the transformation of our space exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Highly recommend them for any remodeling or repair needs. Five stars all the way!"
First of all, I would like to say that the actual work performed on my home was great - I have no issues with the quality of work. What I do have a problem with is their management team.

The short story:
The SENIOR estimator claims to have never seen the project he was estimating and came up with a price he sent directly to the insurance company (never sent to me) for nearly three times the amount approved by insurance, adding line items for work that wasn't needed or done.

The long story:
We had a car run into our garage, causing some damage to the interior wall into our house. I filed a claim with my homeowner's insurance and contacted Kowalski to get an estimate to repair a 2' x 3' patch of drywall, 2' of bottom plate and some molding - the damage was not very extensive. They provided a contract to us, based on the approved insurance amount of $3,655 - we promptly signed and returned the contract on 12/5.

On 12/11, their senior project estimator sent over a supplement to our claims adjuster, adding over $7,000 to the estimate, bringing the total over $11,000. He never sent this to us, we knew nothing about it. He included items like a portable toilet, permits and fees, and nearly $1,000 to remove and reattach cabinets that my husband removed and reattached. My adjuster had been on PTO so I didn't find out about this supplement until a few weeks later, after the work had already been started, and I questioned it with my claims adjuster. My husband and I are both in the construction industry and knew the repairs were nowhere near the $11,000 Kowalski estimated.

Our adjuster sent the Kowalski estimator an email questioning it, which he replied to, defending the amount and stating if our adjuster refuses to pay the amount, he needed to talk to his supervisor. When I chimed into the email chain, requesting a copy of this supplement, letting them know materials were likely around $500, and the gentleman doing the work was here for about four hours on two different days to complete the work, the estimator then replied back that he had done a deep dive on this job and found that the work that needed to be done was a lot less extensive than he originally thought.

Here's my problem. This gentleman is an estimator. A SENIOR estimator. How can he possibly come up with an estimate if he claims he never saw the damage?? That seems like very bad business practice. Even one photo of the damage would have told him there's no way it was anywhere close to $11,000. So what is he estimating from? How many other people have signed contracts with them without the estimator seeing the projects?

It does seem to me that someone was trying to pull a fast one on our insurance company, got caught and then back peddled. I understand mistakes happen, and supplements to insurance claims are sometimes needed. But to inflate the quote almost three times more than the approved insurance amount and contract we signed, and to say the SENIOR estimator never had eyes on the project he was estimating, in addition to sending everything to my claims adjuster and taking me out of the loop - well that all seems very suspect. If it wasn't an attempt to get more money from our insurance company, then it was extremely bad and sloppy business. Either way, I will not be using Kowalski again.
I was taken care of by Janet Larson, a great Client Advocate and liaison at Kowalski. She was very helpful and available for all my calls and inquiries from day 1 until the job was completed. She even helped me with completing the final payments due and closing the account. Great job Janet.
I cannot recommend Kowalski and their amazing representative, Janet, highly enough! From the very beginning, their team has been exceptional to work with—efficient, reliable, and incredibly trustworthy. Janet stands out as a true professional who goes above and beyond to ensure everything is handled seamlessly. The number one thing that sets them apart is their communication. Janet always kept us informed throughout the entire process, making sure we understood what was happening every step of the way.

Their efficiency and attention to detail made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Kowalski and Janet approach every job with care and expertise, and you can tell they genuinely value their clients. Whether it’s a big project or a small task, they treat it with the same level of professionalism and dedication. It’s rare to find a team that is both incredibly competent and so easy to work with. If you’re looking for a company you can trust to get the job done right while keeping you updated every step of the way, Kowalski and Janet are the absolute best!
Ron's customer service exceed all expectations! He was at The Oaks today and we are beyond impressed with his punctuality, professionalism, and outstanding work ethic. He is extremely knowledgeable, and his attention to detail is unmatched. His service truly stand out, and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.
Rude, unprofessional, and incompetent.
I'm Lisa. The horrible tragedy took place in Nov 2023. I am writing to share my experience with Kowalski Construction. Here are the facts: Poor communication, poor timely manner for project completion, missing personal items from residence. It has been a nightmare all around and I would not recommend this company. To this date project still not complete. I did not receive the family-like experience boasted by the owners. I am not at all shocked by your response, nor the subpar workmanship by Kowalski and their contractors. On a positive note, Greg in purchasing was helpful.
Had a great experience! Very quick scheduling and super craftsmanship.
Cliff and his team were absolutely incredible. Extremely professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I had a break in at my business in the middle of the night. After police cleared my building I was left with no way to secure my business. I call Kowalski and they sent out their board up company within the hour. They had my building secure and me headed back home in short order. 24/7 service is only as good as how they respond at 2am. They were amazing and professional. I would recommend you keep their number on speed dial. You never know when you can use some help. Call Kowalski they are the best
On a home we purchased that was a flip we discovered mold damage in both bathrooms. From the first point of contact with Trent, he quickly was available to assess the issue and present a plan of action to remove, and handle the hazard. Jacob and his team removed all the damaged drywall and ceiling of both bathrooms and then Jacob over saw the completion of remodel of the bathrooms. We had several hurdles throughout the process but Jacob was alway available and listened to any concerns of ours and helped to address them quickly and efficiently along with providing the best solution for the job. Trent and Jacob truly showed that Kowalski’s care about their Clients! I would definitely recommend them and personally use them again for any future needs!
Kuwalski helped me with my fire house garage . From start day Ryleigh helped me and was so nice and attentive to help me , the general contractor Mike and his wife April and team were wonderful,
Including the cleaning team. It was a stressful time for me but they helped me. You
One of our needs for Kowalski
has been emergency water extraction. Cliff's reliability immediately puts my mind at ease that the jobs will be done quickly and correctly. Him and his team have killed it every time. Absolute professionals.
I was extremely happy with how quickly they responded to my needs due to the water damage to my home. The technicians they sent out. Manny and Charles were very easy to work with. And did a great job getting the equipment in here and getting the moisture out of my home, so that they were able to do the removal of the drywall and insulation in a timely manner. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up and left my property in as good as condition as it could be. . I would recommend this company and appreciate the work that Charles and Manny did.
This review is for Cliff and Charles at Kowalski! They came in today to deep clean our tile after we had a house fire. They were very professional, friendly and all around great guys! They showed pride in their work and answered all our questions! Excellent service overall!
The guy charles doing great job and everyday he is explaining what's going on work status ......I really like the work they are doing
Excelente empresa muy amables en su atención a las personas que los visitan
We had inquired about a service that we needed done promptly and Jacob responded immediately, this company went above and beyond in providing an immediate solution for us. Jacob and Blake made our lives so much easier and relieved much stress about the situation. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again in future emergencies.
Excellent construction company! The team was professional, friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Jacob and Blake were able to get the services we required done quickly and efficiently. We will only be using them in the future for all of our construction and cleanup needs. Thank you, Kowalski team!
We had the roof of our building collapse, and Kowalski showed up with a slew of people to get the water out and get it dried up. I worked largely with Jason, Jeff and Tony at that company. They completed the job in a professional manner. I'd recommend working with them.
I cannot speak highly enough about this contracting firm. I had a water leak in my home which caused fairly significant damage to the walls and the flooring in my kitchen. Insurance delays caused the project to take longer than anticipated, but the Project Manager (Joe) stayed in close contact with me, keeping me informed of what was going on. Upon completion of the project, my house is in great shape, they were able to rebuild every aspect of the areas they demo'ed due to the leak. Highly recommend!
Cliff was such an amazing Lead on the project at Seven! Very informative, took the time to explain and very pleasant. Will hire them again!
Jennie is always a pleasure to work with! Such a great lady and gets the job done!
I want to share my excellent experience with Kowalski Construction. I had long known of their reputation in the valley, and heard about how good they were to work with, but it wasn't until I needed emergency service myself that I saw that firsthand. My water heater had a major leak and as soon as we got it stopped, I immediately called Kowalski. They were at my house within 45 minutes and stayed until almost 9 o'clock that evening. Cliff was the ultimate professional and came by our house every day for the next four days to check on the progress of drying out all the damaged wood. Because of their quick action, our damage was relatively minor and, our house was back to new within a couple of days. They showed up when they promised to and each person we dealt with at the company was more professional than the next. if you need any of their services, I can't recommend them enough. As a family owned business, they truly do care about the client and treat you like family.
I had a house fire in 10/2022. Kowalski’s did the home repair. They worked well with the insurance company, all the job managers kept in constant contact with me throughout the process. I finally got to move home and it looks absolutely beautiful. They got the job done within the expected time frame. Amazing job. My home is brand spanking new.
Thank you for the help with our issue. Service was prompt, thorough, and the technician (Ron) was very adamant about explaining what was needed and obtaining my authorization.
After the people came to my house that was involved with an accident to my home. the people who came were great. I gave them the insurance info and was told they would accept the insurance. Today I received a letter of intent that they want to sue me for the money without even calling me. What a horrible way to do business.
We’ve waited to post any reviews to ensure we weren’t being too rash or letting emotions dictate the service provided. Ultimately, we weren’t satisfied with the service the contents team provided. We do understand that there are some circumstances beyond our control that dictated the processing of our contents such as the fire investigation and the multiple break ins. Unfortunately, we strongly feel that our contents were mishandled and mismanaged. What solidified this assertion was when the contents team manager informed us via a phone call that a prior member of the team had marked some if not all our items as cleaned/restored even though they weren’t.

Quite a few items were returned still covered in soot or smelling strongly of smoke. We thought after bringing it to the contents team attention and facilitating a second cleaning would have rectified this but even after a second cleaning many items were found heavily coated in soot. Our movie collection was returned like they pulled it off our bookcase and boxed it after the fire and never opened the box again. Same with our dishes and cookware. We have a lot of pictures...

A large majority of my wife’s clothing was never returned but somehow clothing items that were in the same drawers or locations were returned. The cleaners that they used to clean/deodorize our clothing was so strong it caused us to either have moderate skin irritation or sinus headaches from the scent. There were still underlying scents of smoke and soot until we rewashed most of our returned garments.

Items that we thought to be missing due to the break ins as they were not inventoried were returned. We are happy to have gotten them back, but it shows that a thorough inventory was not taken with our contents. This is more evident as items that were inventoried were not returned. There are even instances where photos of our contents were uploaded to their system months after it was submitted to my insurance for processing. For instance, all our books were missing and never inventoried or documented but they were clearly present in the matterport. An inventory provided with a more current date showed they were inventoried which contradicts the inventory sent to my insurance adjuster saying it was completed.

Essentially, we had 2 completed inventories with 2 dates with new items added to the more current inventory. Unfortunately, the general consensus from Kowalski is that they must have been taken during the break-ins but honestly, we feel like some of our possessions were just chucked in a dumpster, so they didn’t have to deal with us since we made a big deal about the break ins.

We inquired multiple times to ensure that all of our contents were returned to us with the contents team since we had issues with missing inventoried items and items that were returned that were thought stolen. They found another box of ours. We are not sure how or why these items weren’t returned to us initially.

We do appreciate all that was done to try and make things right but there have been too many compounding negative situations. We can’t in good conscience recommend this service from Kowalski construction based on our experience.
Joel and his crew (Christian, Angel) are framing out a house on my street that had burned down. At the end of their long and hot work day, they saw me (I'm elderly and injured) attempting to get things into a dumpster in my drive. Christian and Angel walked down - again after their long, hot work day - and offered to help me. They wanted me out of the sun and they put all the things back into my garage or dumpster for me. Joel (their foreman) arrived to see what they were doing, and he arranged with the job super (Chelsey) to buy a lot of the vintage car resto equipment from me, and Christian bought some things as well. Professional and courteous crew and Joel and Chelsey are great dudes and it is evident when you meet all these guys. I worked all my life in construction and walk the walk, and I know a good crew when I meet one.
Kowalski recently undertook a huge restoration project for my company. I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism, work ethic, and knowledge. Jacob was onsite daily, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Always ready with an update, willing to go the extra mile, and helping in any way he could. My only complaint, they're not too great at trivia. (inside joke). Thank you Kowalski for a job well done
Very satisfied with the service! Thank you
Service was impeccable ,and timely . We had a project completed in record time . They were amazing, knowledgeable and completely safe . Josh and Jacob are complete lifesavers to our community . Thank you thank you thank you !
They will collect your insurance money before work is complete. Please research first.
Great Company. Water issue, took charge of repairs and worked with us with a difficult schedule. Great follow through and attention to detail. No worries when working with them.
We had a house fire/lightning strike 19 months ago and still not close to completion. It has been one error after another, poor communication, and submitting sub par estimates. What they will say and do are completely different. They don't seem to care or speak knowledgeable about city codes and details of the job. I don't recommend or have confidence in this company. They seem overworked and not engaged in the project. You know it's a bad sign when after you sign a contract you are the one doing most of the follow up and feel like you work for the company. They actually sent the wrong house estimate to our insurance company. They aren't detailed oriented. They will blame the insurance company for not providing funds for damage and things not covered. They either have 1 star reviews or 5 star reviews. That's not a good sign. Don't do it!!!! We highly recommend a public adjuster and they are unable to effectively deal with the insurance company. I am writing this to save you a nightmare.
I would not recommend. The mexican guy we spoke with was very rude and unprofessional.
I could not be more grateful to George for taking on the headache of communicating with insurance companies to get major repairs approved and completed at my property after a car went through the boiler room wall. All I did was make a phone call to Kowalski and gave George the info he needed to handle everything. He kept me updated throughout the process and when the work was completed you could not tell where the damage had happened on the 1986 stucco building. The paint even matched perfectly. I will definitely call Kowalski again for any construction or mitigation needs.
This is a great company for all your construction needs. If you have fire, water or any other kind of household needs call Kowalski construction they will take care of you 100%
Do not use this company. If you don’t care about them being on time or caring about there work being clean or leaving drywall foot prints all over your house and driveway, nails in my driveway and the street then this is your company. Tyson was unprofessional and non responsive. I wish I could give zero stars. I’m an easy going guy just call and show up when you’re supposed to and take pride in your work. Not asking too much. Seeing all the reviews I’m betting they “won’t find me in there records” but seems to be a reoccurring problem I wish I would’ve read the reviews before letting them work on my house.
Horrible customer service left trash in my yard the mitigation “manager” Tyson is very unprofessional would not recommend this company to anyone you should definitely look for someone who knows what they’re doing
Terrible for what they call "boarding up", didn't help and about 10 times more expensive for the the material used.
House burned down and trying to charge 3k for a single piece of plywood. Absolutely absurd!
Charge absurd amount for not even doing what was asked for, they were asked to board up my heavily damaged home to prevent people from entering and failed.
Taking advantage of someone that is dealing with losing everything in a house fire is as low as it gets. Overcharging for a small job and ontop of that doing a poor job. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
House burns down, imagine charging 2k for a single piece of wood. Seriously in times of need vulnerable people shouldn't be taken advantaged of.
The people who run this company from the very top or quality people I would trust them with my building any day of the week
Good job. Do all they can to right any wrongs. Had total rebuild after bad fire took house. Love house more now than before.
Marvin S. was exceptional. Called Kowalski for water damage mitigation/restoration and Marvin came out the same morning to inspect. Super knowledgeable, professional and great listener. Provided thermal imaging and photos of all damage. Spent a ton of time with us. We are so grateful! If you need help, ask for Marvin.
Excellent Construction Company, great people own it and hard workers
When it comes to service, integrity, and genuine care, Brandon Kowalski is a true role model. As a colleague in the same industry, I can honestly say that Brandon is extremely trustworthy, and he would definitely be my first call if I ever found myself in need.
Marvin was professional, honest, and appreciative! What a great ambassador for this company!
Four months of frustration. I hired Kowalski Construction for a small project of replacing wood laminate in one room, carpet in one room, and replace kick plates under kitchen appliances & cabinets. The home was vacant and empty so they had no furniture to move and they put their lockbox on the door to allow free access. I purchased the flooring at a local store and it was all in-stock so there was no delay due to ordering materials. The laminate was installed with gaps large enough to put my little finger in, so they had to come back twice after I threw a fit. Ron Petty was the Project Mgr. We walked the house together and he approved the work, even though I had previously sent him a photo of the gap. Replacing flooring in two rooms of a small townhouse should not have taken four months. Ron Petty never initiated a conversation with me to apprise me of the status of the job...I always had to contact him. He seemed very unaware of what was happening on this project. Finally, after four months, they finished and I approved the work. I waited over two weeks for an invoice and I finally sent Kowalski an email giving them a deadline to send me a final invoice. They are very happy to take a credit card as payment, but they'll charge you an additional 3% (not even the dollar store charges me a fee!) so I had to locate a paper check. Terrible company. Sloppy work. And slow as molasses. **UPDATE** Today is August 7th...a full 6 months since I posted a negative and Kowalski is just now getting around to responding. Like I said originally, they are slow as molasses. I would also like to address a couple of points you bring up. 1) I signed off on the project completion but never once told anyone I was 'happy' with the work or that anyone did a good job. 2) The flooring was purchased at a Phoenix Home Depot and was IN STOCK. The was no special ordering of any flooring. All your people had to do was pick it up. Additionally, there were no insurance delays...only Kowalski delays. And I wouldn't have had a punch list if the work had been done properly the first (or even the second) time. State Farm sent me the full payment approx 2 months before your people finally finished the job. All I wanted was to be done with you but I finally had to call your office and REQUEST a final invoice from you...couldn't even get you do do that in a timely fashion. Therefore, Mr K, I would recommend that you not respond to issues on which you are not fully informed. By the way, at this time you do not have a 5 star rating on either Google or Yelp. Pfft...uninformed AND slow
The guys did a fantastic job and went above and beyond with their attention to detail, communication, and overall performance. The team the worked on my home was Tom u, Andrian, Dennis, Kevin, and Amro. I would use them again for certain.
Very professional very courteous and very organized company
My working..
Kowalski was the only company that did what they promised. Riley was so helpful and stayed with us the entire project. Kept us on track,on budget, and made sure everything was done to perfection.
My grandparents had a fire and they took care of the house and more importantly they took care of everything! They helped her get through the biggest tragedy of her life! Riley is amazing to work with! I would highly recommend Kowalski Construction to anyone who wants and needs their home redone. I can not thank you enough!
In my opinion, this company was so terrible, slow, and uncommunicative that I could never recommend them to anyone. Kowalski has now become a verb in our house for when something is messed up. Oops, I hammered this nail crooked, I Kowalski'd it. Oh look, the siding that was supposed to be replaced, but instead was hammered down and is now popping out again - they Kowalski'd it. Every chance they had to cut corners, they did, and only fixing some errors when they were caught. I should have fought harder with them to actually fix their mistakes, but after 6 months of dealing with them, I just wanted to live in my house. Avoid this company if you want your work done in a quality, timely manner with communication.
I finally found my "go to" company for things that deteriorate in my older home. It's difficult to find an honest, helpful company these days, but Kowalski Construction is all of this and more. Jason went out of his way to show me exactly what was going to be done and why. Ron was a friendly and skilled expert at fixing and repainting the damaged drywall. All at a fair and reasonable price. Thanks again for the great job you both did.
The folks at Kowalski are wonderful! The guys that took care of my water damage were so professional and courteous and did an amazing job. Could not have been treated better!
My experience with Kowalski Construction was very rocky. The project manager did not have experience in the managerial side and wrote a scope with a price and completion date that we both signed off on. I always included a delay penalty. The project to be completed in 15 days and had a dollar quote. This was in March, and in May I was still trying to get my project complete. The PM kept changing the quote (6 total), cancelling appointments, cancel city inspections, cancelling workers and was totally disorganized. The owners were made aware of this and chose to do nothing.
Overall the workers were very conscientious and courteous and did great work, it was just the disorganization of the PM that made it a painful experience.

Owners response said I changed the scope, Never! did I change the scope. I gave a scope on day one and the PM was the one who decided to do changes, 6 to be exact. He handed me a contract in March that will take 15 days and when I had to go home in April, it was no where near done, if this is what he is referring to. I did not make ONE change to the project. I asked that the PM be taken off the project when I saw how inept he was, but the manager told me he would guide him and that did not happen. Example, the water damage was on a 10 ft wall and no where near a corner, yet he said he needed to break down the wall in the library to fix the leak. I said no and when they tore down the wall in the bath, it was at least 3-4 ft away from the library wall. He was ready to tear down if I had not stopped him. The PM cancelled the workers for days at a time, he cancelled the city inspector making all of us sit and wait because he couldn't coordinate it with another project.
This is 100% Kowalski actions, they seemingly want to blame me. The less than full payment was the "delay penalty" I always build into my construction contracts. Then I was more than generous!
Manny was on time, very personable and knowledgeable and was able to help me determine a plan of action to treat mold from water damage in my home.

-- Brian P

Jacob was great, he did an awesome job of securing our door and cleaned the entire mess up. Most important, he is definetly someone I can trust. He stayed with us to ensure we were safe after fixing the door from the break in . Thanks Jacob!

Great place
My son & I recently experienced a house fire & Kowalski Construction was involved with our rebuild from the very beginning. I dealt directly with several different people but no matter who I spoke with they were always able to answer my questions & their response time was impressive to say the least. I always felt like I was the only person they were dealing with & their astute attention to detail was remarkable. I would definitely recommend these guys for any job you may have, you will not be disappointed!
