After inspecting all the faucets, drains, RO, bathrooms, and H2O heater, D'Andre reviewed his findings. Today I had my plumbing inspection by D'Andre. He was very friendly and after a thorough inspection he talked me through the current status of my condo's plumbing, with photos and videos. As usual Hobaica showed why I continue to use them. I definitely recommend Hobaica.<br><br>This 5 star review also applies to Jairo and Devon who performed an A/C check up later this same day.

II debated for a while about writing this, but I feel it’s worth sharing.<br><br>Back in July 2025, my 3-year-old A/C unit stopped working at my townhome. I found Hobaica Services through online reviews and called because of their $19.52 new customer special.<br><br>After the visit, I was told there was a broken part and that it would be about $2,000 to fix. When I asked what part was broken, how much the part actually cost, or how much was labor, I couldn’t get a straight answer. I was told things like “I’m not sure on the part price” or that they’d need to check with sales — but they were very certain about the total cost. That felt confusing and honestly pretty frustrating.<br><br>I ended up getting a second opinion. Another company came out and found that part of the unit was just frozen over. They took care of it on the spot, explained that it happens sometimes, and the A/C has been working fine ever since. I paid $50 for the visit.<br><br>Going from a $2,000 quote to a $50 service call for something that wasn’t actually broken was really disappointing. More than anything, I was let down by the lack of clear explanations. I wish the communication had been better, and I’d strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs.

Wow!!! George and Alex came out for a service call on my A/C which was not working.<br>They called on their way to my house, arrived on time, and very professional and knowledgeable about my unit's problems.<br>After a few minutes of working up in the attic it was determined that my thermostat was not working and needed to be replaced. I have been a Hobaica customer for many years. Thus I had very high expectations for the purchase and installation of a 1.5 ton mini-split unit. I was not disappointed!! The technician, Gio was outstanding!! He arrived early, explained what he'd be doing, gave me an estimated time frame for the install and got right to work. Gio quietly and quickly went about his work and was finished, including clean up, before I knew it. He thoroughly explained and demonstrated how to use the unit's remote and the went through the accompanying paperwork. I already can tell that I'm going to be very pleased with the unit in the hard to cool/heat room where it was installed.<br>Now, you may think that Hobaica's prices are on the high side. But you are also paying for a company that is trustworthy, responsive, professional, and extremely competent at all levels. How many companies can you say that about with confidence? I would not consider doing HVAC, electrical, or plumbing services with any other company. Thank you Gio, Thank you, Hobaica.

Sergio, Jared, Anthony, Diego, and Austin were all really great. They came to my house and were transparent about every step of the process of the inspection and installation of a new unit. Sergio was also transparent with what to expect regarding the timeline of installation. Everyone was very kind and professional.

Alex came to our home to give us a quote for breaking an over loaded circuit into two. I liked Alex’s attitude right away and was more impressed with his inspection and then options for approaching the project. Alex and team will be back next week to do the work.

Scott was awesome to work with along with his co-worker. Called Hobaica and unlike our current plumbing company we already worked with, Hobaica showed up for our emergency. Our drain pan was leaking and it overflowed into our room. Scott did an efficient and meticulous job and went over everything we needed. What I love the most he shared all the videos and sent everything with a before and after video in a precise way to my email. He did all the necessary work needed until the pan will be installed and left us with a clear piece of mind that everything was done correctly. Not only did it go to after hours recording but Aaron our tech called up right away and mentioned he will be over on Christmas Eve. From the very start to the end, I cannot be more happy or satisfied with Hobaica. Adam, Brandon & Jesse who came out as scheduled to install my new HVAC system replacing my old system could not have been more wonderful, skilled, courteous, caring and efficient. They all worked extremely hard, clean and made sure to keep me updated along the way and answered my many, many questions. They all treated me and my home with the utmost respect. I have been a customer with Hobaica for about 25 plus years and they installed my last unit plus serviced it through the years extremely well. They always call to confirm appointments, arrive close to the appointment times (if delayed which is rare and when it does happen they always communicated with me so I’m aware what is happening), do the work quickly, well, cleanly, completely and always fully test the system to make sure the system works to my full satisfaction before they leave.<br><br>When Adam, the installer on this project, who was the last to leave, there was not a single piece of debris as he had cleaned up after himself: swept and picked up everything. I cannot be happier with Hobaica, the staff and with regards to this latest engagement, especially with Brandon, Jesse and Adam. It is 100% evident they each take full pride in their respective jobs and worked as a team seamlessly. To be honest, I cannot say enough fantastic things about them and Hobaica. They did not just install a new HVAC system but wholly gave me full peace of mind and a feeling of safety to be well-prepared for the seasons whether cold or hot. The pipe under the kitchen sink was leaking, I'd received a Hobaica ad about a week ago in my mail, and I liked a few facts in the ad: they are available 24-7; it's a family business; they've been in business for over 50 years; and they service the major systems in the house that can be headaches for home owners to repair or replace when they don't operate as they should. Hobaica also has four ROCs.<br><br>I called the listed number, explained my problem, and was told that a plumber would be assigned to arrive between 12-4 p.m., but he would call me when he was on his way. Within 30 minutes or so, I got a call from the plumber who arrived shortly thereafter.<br><br>D. Ross, the plumber, was friendly, polite, and asked me what the problem is. I showed him and told him where I'd felt the moisture and said it looked like there was some corrosion. He thoroughly looked over the pipes, agreed there was corrosion requiring a part replacement. He got the part from the truck and replaced it. Then, he addressed another issue I had with a slow draining utility sink. He used two pieces of equipment, managed to get some clogs out, but it didn't fix the problem because a larger snake was required. However, a request was made for a follow- up appointment.<br><br>We discussed the Total Care Club which Hobaica has. I received a pamphlet explaining it, and it seemed like a positive way of dealing with issues that can present themselves for home owners. Needless to say, I signed up for the Club.<br><br>D. Ross while in my home becomes the face/representative of Hobaica. Based on my interaction with him, he is an asset to the company . He's well mannered and respectful. He answered questions clearly, he was efficient in getting the job done, and let the office know that the utility sink still needed attention. I'm pleased with the treatment I received from the office and the plumber D. Ross.

Hobaica services all of the HVAC in my large warehouse. RTUs and Swamp coolers. They do a great job and are reasonable on price and timeline when repairs are needed. Great company.

This was my first heat pump inspection in my newly purchased home. Álex Diaz did a detailed inspection in my attic and the unit outside. He also explained how the system works, as it is different from the one I had at my previous address. He answered all of my questions and made suggestions for making my home energy efficient. Luktan came out to do our plumbing inspection and water heater flush. He called before arriving and was promptly here at our appointment. He checked all our faucet fixtures and connections, did a water psi check, water hardness check and chlorine check. He also checked our outside connections. Then he gave us valuable info on a reverse osmosis system to replace an inadequate under sink system that wasn’t really giving us good water. All of this info will be on file so we can make the necessary repairs going forward. We found his analysis valuable and we’re glad he supplied us with the proper information moving forward. All in all it was a great experience.

I had a water leak in the bathroom. As a total care customer, they got a repair person to my house within 24 hours as promised. Aaron arrived and did the repair and another item I asked to have looked at when I scheduled the repair. Aaron did a good job and I was pleased with Aaron and Hobaica.

We had a technician come out on Sunday 9/7/25 and they ended up replacing a capacitor in our home AC unit. I am outraged at what I was charged. I had no idea what the parts were supposed to cost at the time, and had little options since it was a Sunday when most places are closed. We are in Arizona and had already gone all night with the AC off. We were charged $612 for JUST the replacement part (not including labor). I now know that AT MOST, a capacitor replacement shouldn't be more than $400 (including labor), with most of the expense being the labor. I'm mad that I didn't know better, but I'm the customer, I'm not supposed to know what these repairs cost. I feel taken advantage of and will never use your services again. The mental gymnastics required to justify that kind of price markup is beyond me. It is an unfair business practice and you are doing a disservice to people by shafting them simply because they don't know any better. The total visit was just under $800. I hope you feel bad for taking our money because the day right before our AC went out, it cost us over $300 at the vets office, the very next day we unexpectedly had to pay more than $1,370 just to keep our cat alive, AND our wedding is scheduled for next month. I hope that $800 feels good in your pockets...

Thomas showed up when expected, got the power connected quickly, and the room was cooling down right away. He did a great job and I'm glad that I chose Hobaica for this install.<br><br>Gio got to the job right on time. He did the work in what seemed like record time. He did a great job and cleaned up the inside so you couldn't tell that any work had been done! He also came back to make a few adjustments and once again, cleaned everything up so it looked like new. I'm really pleased with the work he did.<br><br>Austin came here on time, dressed clean and professionally. He was very courteous and well spoken. He did the work in less time than projected. I'm extremely pleased with the experience and service I received.

We recently had Andy Hobaica and his team install new HVAC units in our home during the peak of the summer heat, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We had a constant drip from our a/c vent and I called Hobaica yesterday afternoon. Our technician, Austin, was out first thing this morning, ready to get to work 💪 He was polite, communicative, efficient and very easy to work with. He gave us a temporary fix for the rest of the summer (we can't afford the permanent work at this time). The a/c is already working soo much better!! He will be sending us a complete estimate for the permanent work for next summer. What a pleasant experience! Austin was the best!! 👌 👍 😎 Hobaica is a phenomenal company and I highly recommend it!!

Sergio did an amazing job installing our new roof mounted AC unit. He was so good with our little dogs and very courteous in general. I feel very bad that he had to work in the attic on on of the hottest days of the summer, but he got it done and done well. HOBAICA is always great to work with. We are so happy with our new Goodman heat pump, such a huge upgrade. Happy customers.

My friends and neighbors recommended Hobaica when I came home yesterday afternoon after walking into an oven. They recently had two systems replaced on their roof and couldn’t be happier with the service quality and prices and that was good enough for me! Placed a call late afternoon and Hobaica had Austin here the next day. He was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and so nice, explaining where he thought the problem was.Then in no time at all, had determined a fuse blew on my unit. 7/21/25 Jayce came today and corrected some bothersome issues for me<br>The air is controlled better, the problems I've had with the thermostat are all fixed AND the unit now starts much more quietly! YAY!!<br>I've had a busy exciting day! First Sergio showed up at 730 as expected and explained very clearly all he was going to do. As usual a really nice guy as I have found all Hobaica employees to be since I've been using them over 20 years!<br>He went to roof initially but found the duct wasn't quite the right size and a new one had to be fabricated. Rather than leaving he said he would reorganize his plans and install the new ductwork first. He took pictures for me of his work😁 while doing this he was interrupted buy the crane so went back onto roof, once that was done back to the attic to finish up a good job!<br>After Sergio left to pick up fabricated piece, Albert and Diego came to install additional insulation they also were a couple of really nice young men, very polite and went right to work! As the first photo shows I was seriously in need of insulation and afterwards they took pictures and showed me the depth, Hobaica always above board.<br>While this was going on Sergio was back on the roof completing installation of my new Goodman package hest pump AC unit, then he came inside and and showed me how to program the thermostat!!<br>I cannot say enough about how happy I am with Hobaica and especially with Sergio! Dylan and Aaron updated old plumbing in our bathroom and installed new fixtures. They were so professional — super knowledgeable and great communicators. They worked very quietly and efficiently and delivered a great result. We’ll always use Hobaica for our home plumbing, electrical and HVAC needs. They are the best!

Needed to supplement cooling the Kitchen area in my older small block home. The kitchen area has a sliding door facing west and automatic doggie door for the two Great Danes plus the appliances so a lot of heat generation. A window AC was out, no windows, and didn't want to put in a through the wall unit with the block wall. Explored mini split unit with PS giving an extremely high quote of 9563.00 for a mitsubishi 12k btu 23 seer unit. Symon of Hobaica quoted a 12k btu 20.8 seer unit and saved me over 3K. I pulled the plug told Symon to do it.<br><br>Gio and Anthony showed up Friday morning on time and were very knowlegeble and courteous. They protected everything on the inside of the house and cleaned up all the dust and debris when they were finished. Even cleaned the hand prints off the wall with Zep wall cleaner. They also received the approval of the Great Danes.<br><br>I attached some photos. If anyone has a warmer room in their older block home in the area Hobaica is very reasonble and professional with the mini split installation. I don't even use the roof top unit anymore as the other rooms are supplemented with window ac's. Next project for Hobaica will be making my two showers "old age" ready.

Had to replace my whole HVAC system as it was ~ 20 years old. Hobaica was able to installed it within 2 days. The installation was quick and efficient, less than 5 hours from when they arrived .Ivan, Nacho and Adam were great. They were very friendly and helpful. And did a great job.

Austin came out to do the seasonal air conditioning service. He called ahead and let us know he was on the way. He introduced himself, explained what he was going to do and how long it would take and made sure that was okay with our schedule. He asked about any issues we might be having. With no major issues, he got to work. He kept us informed of his progress, and besides checking the system and making sure everything was running properly, he did a great job of cleaning the outside compressor, which had gotten pretty dirty. He wore some shoe covers when he came inside and answered any questions we had. This is part of our service plan and it’s great to know everything is ready for the summer. All in all, he was friendly, professional and highly competent.<br>Another great tech is Dylan. He’s done a lot of plumbing work for us and always does a great job. Both are highly recommended.

Had the best experience with Hobaica Services! They installed a 5 ton AC Pro Variable speed system, and I couldn’t be more happy. The techs really made the experience better. If you can get Ivan and Daniel. I would request their service personally. These guys answered all the questions I had (I’m an engineer so I asked a lot), they answered all of them and were really helpful.

Gio and Ivan did a fantastic job installing a new rooftop unit, ductless mini-split, and handling the electrical work. They arrived a little early and completed the project efficiently. Both were highly professional and friendly throughout, even going the extra mile—Gio managed to multitask by installing the mini-split while keeping my crazy dachshund entertained with a game of fetch. The quality of their work was excellent, and they took the time to explain everything clearly before they left. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the outstanding service and workmanship provided today. Thank you!

Alex did my spring tuneup service today. He does a super job!<br><br>He’s kind, patient, professional, and goes the extra mile. He even vacuumed the grates for me on the high ceiling vent when he changed out my filters, and helped me program my existing thermostat!<br><br>Additionally, he does not hard sell!<br>I have a part that we’ve been watching for the last two tune ups and today decided to replace it.
