We have had an extremely pleasant experience with Jen. Her report was informative and the data was surprising. They found out a lot more then I anticipated. I can’t wait to have my gross insulation removed and my duct work fixed. I highly recommend their services.

I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't given a hard sale. We had an audit to see how good our windows were. Jen's report was very thorough. It showed we had no leaks or seal failures. She recommended we put up bug screens so we can open them when weather is nice. Overall their audit explained everything and I highly recommend you have one.

Jake, Nicolas, and Katlin were all great to work with, as well as the crew they sent in to seal ducts, improve air flow to all our rooms, put in a new return vent, and add insulation in the attic. Our readings prior to this work were so far off from where they needed to be. I'm hopeful our energy bills will be much lower this summer, and my son will be much more comfortable in his room! Great experience overall!

I reached out to several companies for insulation. First one wouldn't even come out. The other 2 did a mediocre inspection. I was unimpressed. FOR Energy was thorough and covered the process in detail. I like their communication and they explained a lot more - very professional. Guys did an awesome job sealing up my house so I can enjoy the cool air instead of my attic. Only complaint is they didn’t do much prep for mess from removing ceiling duct covers and didn’t do much to clean up after, which is not the service you’d expect paying that much. Pretty good company, some room for improvement. Four stars

I recently hired FOR Energy for a major efficiency upgrade, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They performed attic and duct sealing, duct rerouting, installed a new return, and added fresh attic insulation. My home’s cooling is now much more evenly distributed, and I’ve noticed a significant increase in AC output in rooms that used to stay much warmer than the rest of the house. I had this company out to give me an estimate on insulation. They came back saying I needed my entire attic and ducts sealed. The price started at 9K, then they took off the price of the SRP rebate, I was still not going for it, so they took off a special he said they had. It was still 7K, I still was not going for it , so he said if I sign right now the price would be around 6K. I said NO. Hate the pressure salesmen. I had 3 other companies come in and give me estimates. All 3 said I did not need any duct work and I just needed insulation. They all quoted me about 1,600. Be careful of this company and their pressure salesmen. I will be reporting this to SRP.

Jen and Jermaine came and inspected our attic to ensure all duckting and insulation was correct. Not only were they very informative, they helped us locate many issues we have with our ac systems and had very good knowledge on what we could do to remedy all of our attic issues. Pricing was very fair and they are willing to go above and beyond to assist all their customers. Would definitely recommend

I had 2 other well known companies conduct an insulation inspection on my home. Combined they were up there for 20 minutes or less, Jake from FOR was up there for close to an hour and noticed things the other guys missed, and offered suggestions and services the others didn’t. On top of that, the pricing is much more reasonable. I will update once the job is complete.

After seeing our APS bill skyrocket, we had our AC inspected and we got For Energy to perform an inspection and could not believe what issues they found. Jen and Jermaine were great and honest about the additional concerns in the attic.

Their report was very eye opening. Jermaine's report showed why half of my house is uncomfortable and why my AC is running overtime. He was polite and arrived early - friendly with dog too. I had amazing experience with Jen too. Highly recommend you work with FOR.

We have had a horrible experience with For Energy. We have shared with them along the way. The people that came into our home left a mess and the service did absolutely nothing to our bill. Made no difference at all. The sales person did a great job selling, but none of what he said happened. We tried to explain it to the company many times but do not feel grades at all. A year later we have water damage in our attic because the workers accidentally moved the drainage pan. So disappointed by this company.

I used for FORenergy after hearing about them on Rosie on the house podcast that they seal attics. Jermaine came out and did a thorough inspection of our attic, hvac and house envelope. The week after Jen came out with a detailed report of the results. After Jen spoke with us it was shown that we did not need to invest any more time and money with any attic upgrades. We really appreciate the honesty of FORenergy and will use them in the future if the need arises.

Jen came for a home audit found several things that can be done to save on aps bill. Like a disconnected duck line in the attic and a swamp cooler line connected that isn't being used. Very friendly and informative.

Although, I decided not to hire FOR Energy, I wanted to recognize one of their reps. A young man name Joe, came by to give me an estimate a few weeks ago. I was taken back by his knowledge and professionalism. Joe was prompt, thorough and took his time explaining what he assessed, recommendations and options.

I’ve been wheezing for months and thought it was allergies. I found FOR Energy on the SRP preferred vendor site and had them come in to do an energy audit and check out my attic insulation. The amount of junk and decades-old bad insulation in there, including the fact that none of my ducts were sealed at all revealed why I can’t breathe in my own house. Jen came and walked me through the process of fixing everything and getting SRP and tax rebates and quoted me a very reasonable price. They will start work in a few weeks. I highly recommend giving them a call to give you an honest review of your home!

They did an energy audit on my home. I had concerns because my bills were becoming extremely expensive to afford on my limited income. Jake was the one who did the audit. Our house is 20 years old with the original windows that leak air and dust, have lost their seals. We shopped around to see about replacing four of the worst. We found FOR Energy to have quality replacements at a reasonable price. They were efficient, timely, courteous and during installation they were quick and neat. When we are able we will certainly contact them again for more replacement windows.

Awesome experience with FOR Energy. I had the company visit for an energy audit several years. After implementing many of their excellent recommendations, I had them return for an update on potential energy efficiency measures. This visit focused on insulation and improving air conditioner efficiency. Jennifer clearly talked me through the process, reviewing bills and prior data for thoroughness. Dennis crawled throughout the attic in 115 degree temperature taking clear pictures and thermal readings, which enabled a more thorough analysis and recommendations. I am excited to have the company install new insulation and seal the building envelope. Even better, the company will return after installation and compare efficiency before the installation and after ao that I can truly see the results of their work.

We had a very positive experience with FOR energy! We recently purchased a home that struggled to stay cool in the heat. Jen was incredibly helpful in putting together a detailed plan that gave us the biggest bang for our buck. The project manager, Nick, kept us up to date throughout the three days of insulation work. A detailed report was provided both before and after the project was completed, complete with photos. We spent our afternoon discussing problems with our A/C in our new home. Their energy consultant, Joe Hemming, sat down to go over the concerns we are having and what we would like to see get done to improve our A/C. This way we feel more comfortable in our home and have a cheaper Electric Bill. We had previously discussed these issues with a different company who quoted us at a price that just wasn’t affordable for us. Practically charging what I could pay for a new car! Therefore we have went almost a whole year being miserable in this AZ heat. Joe Hemming with FOR Energy quoted us at a price that was way less and so affordable. After going through our A/C, checking the attic, duct work, doors and windows, checking the heat throughout the house, and more, Joe sat down with us and showed us pictures and explained everything in so much detail. They even do payment plans which hello!!! Amazing!!!! Joe was very kind and made the experience great and helped us understand the whole process. I had some work done in my attic, including re-insulating duct lines, and adding more insulation. The representative I worked with was extremely thorough with his inspection, he detailed everything in a way for a layperson to understand. I'll be returning to them for any other home energy needs I have.

Excellent experience. Called multiple places for quotes and choose 3 companies to come for whole house new windows. FOR Energy, gave us the best price, by a lot, on the same windows one other company also supplied. Explained the installation process, which other company just kind of glossed over. Explained how and where the windows were made. Installation only took a few hours and the crew that did the install, cleaned up nicely after their work. Had an issue with the patio screen door - they got it fixed and provided 2 wheels in case something happens to the ones provided.<br>We also had them install a second Tesla power wall, just waiting for electric company to sign off so it can be turned on.

We just had FOR Energy come out and do an energy audit on our home. They checked for air leaks, insulation issues, and anything else making the house less efficient (and more expensive to cool).<br><br>Turns out we had massive problem areas in the attic and ductwork. They walked us through everything with thermal imaging and made the whole process super easy. We ended up having them move all the insulation and seal all the holes that went from attic into the home and then add in fiberglass insulation. They filled it to 16 where our home builder had it 7.<br><br>They did an incredible job and I would highly recommend them

Had FOR Energy fully replace our duct work that was coming apart and then remove and re-insulate the attic. The crew was on time every day, and after all the work was done our house is much more comfortable and efficient. We had a few small setbacks in the job and FOR Energy listened to our concerns and remedied the issues.

We had Jermaine and Jen out to access our attic. They were so kind to our grandson. We were really impressed how he went in our hot and miserable attic. He really knew what to look for and their findings were thorough. The pictures and videos really explained what was wrong and how to fix it. They respected our home and wore booties. In May of 2025 we reached out to FOR Energy to help us with the insulation of our home. When they arrived, their representatives were remarkably helpful with assessing our home's air leaks and poor builder quality workmanship from when the house was built in 2005.<br><br>The following week their crews arrived to seal every gap in our attic that opened into the house below. They also sealed our entire HVAC system as well as ductwork. Everything in the attic was still the original from 2005 and had significant gaps or even holes.<br><br>The next day another crew arrived to replace all of the attic insulation with high quality, heat resistant spray-in insulation. 6-8 inches.<br><br>The difference is astounding and our A/C units rarely come on whereas before they were running often and the home was still uncomfortable even in mild Arizona weather. We can't wait to see the difference in our electric bill next month and are so greateful to Jenn, our representative, who was amazingly patient and thoroughly detailed about the work.<br><br>I highly recommend FOR Energy's work and process. A well sealed and insulated attic was the exact solution to our problems. They actually cared about our needs and well-being, treating us like family. Everyone from the company was polite and respectful of our home and wishes. There is no price tag that we can place on their service because the value of comfort, lack of desert dust and inside air quality is truly spectacular.

We are very pleased using For Energy for our attic project. I have always been grossed out by the filth accumulated in our 1947 attic. My husband wanted to leave the whole mess alone. I requested a quote and was happy I did. Jen and Germaine came out and did a thorough job with the proposal. I trusted them from the beginning. Easy going manner and no pressure to hire them.<br>The scope of work went far beyond my expectations. ALL that old insulation and filth was removed. Mario and his crew who did the removal and reinstallation of insulation on the 3rd day, were professional, easy to work with, did a thorough job and took care to seal off their work areas to keep dirt and insulation contained. They vacuumed the attic and cleaned up after themselves. The 2nd day was Sergio's crew to fix and replace ducting and seal many things, more than I knew existed. The 3rd day blow in new insulation. Mario and Sergio led crews that were the best tradesmen we've encountered. These men do this job for a living and they've worked together as a unit and it showed. You can relax and trust they are doing what they say they would do. A good value. There was so much interaction and the ability to contact someone easily with questions throughout the process

Had Jen and Jake show up on time. They were both very friendly and informative. Got a lot of good information about our home and how we could save money on our APS bills. I loved how informative they were. Definitely food for thought.

There team did an upgrade of my existing insulation, elevated and repaired ducts, sealed attic, blew in insulation to get me up to where I needed to be. Extremely courteous, respectful, professional through all aspects. Worked very efficiently, and did a very good job. Had an issue with some rattling after they left and Sergio and Have came back to check things out within 24 hrs. These guys are truly on top of there game. Great team!

We had ForEnergy do an assessment of our efficiency of our insulation and ductwork leaks. As we have an older home, there were no surprises with what they found. The salesman was pleasant and easy to work with. Then when we had the work done, Eric, Sergio, and Rico were respectful of our home and dealing with our 2 dogs. When they were finished sealing our vents, I immediately noticed the air flow was better. They cleaned every thing up before they left. Pleased with their service!

We've loved our experience with FOR Energy! Jake on the sales side, Nick, the Project Manager, and all the guys who did the job were wonderful.<br><br>Was it perfect? No. BUT, the couple of small things that happened have been or will be made right. Zero issues.<br><br>Was it cheap? Nope. BUT, with all the work they did to fix all the stuff that needed fixing, and the top quality of the new insulation, we'll likely never see energy bills like we saw last summer. So in the end it pays for itself!<br><br>I'd highly recommend FOR Energy to anyone who's thinking about getting new insulation. These guys were the best.

If you call them out for a free energy audit be prepared for a high pressure sales pitch. The only reason they provide these free is to make a sale, and boy will they try to sell you something if it makes sense or not.<br><br>The good:<br>The audit itself was great, they provide a ton of helpful information.<br><br>The bad:<br>Once they've finished the audit prepare to sit down with them for long sales pitch. We talked for 30 min or so, 20 of which was a sales pitch and 10 being an actual review of the findings. I told Joe right away that I'm doing this to see if I can save money. If I can see a return on my investment in a reasonable amount of time then I'm in.<br><br>The main three things Joe recommended was sealing the ducts, sealing the attic (top plates and can lights), and blowing more insulation. The price came out to $6533. He estimated that I would save 30% on my energy bill. My energy bill is about $2000 a year so $600 in savings would put a return on my investment in about 10 years.<br><br>First, my bill is currently about what you would expect for a house my size so 30% savings is almost certainly an exaggeration putting my return on investment way over 10 years. Secondly, this is the point he should have concluded their services are not for me and stopped desperately trying to sell me something.<br><br>Joe continued onto the next sales tactic, the day of sale discount. A limited time offer for that day only, dropping the price to $5750. This is the point in which I said I don't appreciate high pressure sales tactics. But instead of backing down he moved to the next sales tactic bring the price down by doing one or two of the services. I once again expressed the numbers don't make sense. Then he proceeds to tell me if I just buy one thing I can lock in the price for now and decide if I want to purchase later. I'm sure you can see the pattern here.<br><br>If they truly had my best interest at heart they'd have stopped the sales pitch multiple times throughout this already. They want your money, and it doesn't matter if it makes no financially sense for you to purchase their services, they're still going to try to sell you it anyways.<br><br>I probably would have just let this all slide but they have been blowing me up with text and emails after I clearly stated why I am not interest so now I'm writing this review.<br><br>For reference, I contacted another company who provides energy audits. I told them the same thing, I want to see if I can save money. They asked how much my current bill is, the square footage of my house, what I leave my thermostat at. They said my bill is about what it should be and if I want a good return on investment to do it myself. Even gave me a tip about Home Depot will give you a free insulation blower rental if you buy enough insulation from them.

I recently had For Energy complete a major project in my attic, including insulation, attic sealing, and an air duct reroute. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic!<br><br>Joe, the initial auditor, was outstanding. He was punctual, arriving exactly when he said he would, and took the time to thoroughly assess our home’s energy efficiency needs. He explained every detail clearly, making sure we understood the benefits of each upgrade. What really stood out was his dedication—on the day of installation, he even stopped by just to check in and ensure everything was going smoothly. That level of service speaks volumes!<br><br>The installation team did a tremendous job. I work remotely, and they were so efficient that I barely even noticed the work was happening. There was no disruption to my day, and they were incredibly polite and professional throughout. They also made sure to clean up every step of the way, leaving everything spotless once the job was done.<br><br>We’ve already noticed a significant improvement in our home's comfort and energy efficiency! Jen did a great job of walking us through our audit results and making recommendations for needs to happen to make our home as energy efficient as possible. She was very clear on what FOR Energy will and won’t do, and helped us understand the best options for us. Based on her materials and information, we are moving forward with a complete change-out of our insulation and replacement of some key windows. We can’t wait to see the results!<br>Adding: Our new windows are in and they are amazing! They really brighten up the rooms while significantly cutting down on heat transfer. My office routinely got uncomfortably warm in direct sun even in the winter; there is now a noticeable difference and it is much improved! The whole process took less than 2 months and the install team was incredibly professional.

For Energy did my insulation and installed new windows. In both instances I found them to be efficient and courteous, and left the place clean when they were done. I can already tell a difference in my home’s energy efficiency which I’m very happy about! I also really appreciated how communicative the team was through every step of the process, I was never left guessing, and if I texted with questions Dan answered promptly. This was my first time using FOR Energy, and they were great! My installation was amazing, and the materials arrived earlier than expected! Their crew was so nice and professional. Not only was the installation quick, but my house was left cleaner than before! It's clear that this company truly cares about their customers, I highly recommend!!

We had Jen come out for an energy efficiency quote and she was awesome! We just moved to an older home and knew there were insulation and energy issues. Jen and Jermaine came and thoroughly explained all the problem spots and how they recommended fixing. We had virtually no insulation and it was basically dust (see picture). We are excited to get the project underway!

When I first had an appointment set up with this Company I was pretty anxious. Originally all I wanted was a test on my home and an estimate, but after a bit of discussion we came to a reasonable solution that fits my budget.<br><br>The appointments I had spanned just a couple days, one for my vents and airflow, the other for the insulation. After my first appointment with the vents the changes were immediately noticeable. I turned on the heater to warm up the house for my grandma but when I turned it off later the temperature stayed at a consistent 70 degrees rather than dropping to around 60 due to the winter. I was pretty psyched, and now with the new insulation in my attic i'm eager to see how my power bill will change in the Summer.<br><br>The gentlemen who came and did the work took pictures of the work they did, including where they sealed up my ducts and the holes where air was coming and going. I was forewarned that my house may be a bit dusty to due to the increased airflow so I had ample time to prepare. And to top it all off they were able to answer any questions or concerns I had after the fact. All in all, the work done is very good and i'd strongly recommend them for making your home energy efficient and producing good noticeable changes.

Joseph Rivera came to our home this morning and after his home energy checkup recommended some things for us to do to make our home more efficient. He provided several choices and gave us very precise details on why he would recommend each project based on pictures that he took during the checkup. We ultimately chose the lesser of all the projects that would still be what we felt was within our price range and gave us the best benefit. He was very professional and efficient throughout the whole process of helping us determine which was the best project for us. Highly recommend Joseph for your energy check up on your home 😀

We had a consultation with For Energy today to review some things we can do to our home to improve energy efficiency and save money both short term and long term. Our representative Joseph Rivera was awesome. He did an inspection of our attic and home and found some items that needed to be addressed such as ducts not being sealed properly as well as some other minor repairs that could greatly improve the efficiency of our AC unit and save us money immediately. He also gave us feedback on other items where our home passed the energy star test and highlighted things that were done properly. I felt like we learned a lot. This was an educational process for us and we look forward to making improvements to our home that will make a big difference to our budget. Joseph was patient, down to earth and did a great job of explaining everything to us so it was easy to understand. I highly recommend this experience with For Energy and highly recommend Joseph!

My house is 20 years old and I have never updated my attic insulation. After last year's ridiculous energy bills, I decided I needed to find ways to improve my home energy use. I met with two companies to get assessments for my home energy efficiency. FOR Energy's inspection was superior and the recommendations were more detailed. I also felt that the communication in the contract and pricing details that Jen provided to me made me feel more confident in my decision to chose For Energy.

Up front, we did not get our work done by For Energy. For a variety of reasons we went with another provider. Having said that, we wanted to give the highest accolades to their consultant, Joe Hemming. He was just the best person we saw from all the providers, by far. He was knowledgeable, informative, and most importantly, we felt he was absolutely trustworthy and transparent about everything. He was a wonderful breath of fresh honest air while doing his job. We highly recommend him.

Jen and Jermaine came out for an inspection today. Not only were they very friendly - they were prompt & informative. I’m excited to have the gross insulation removed & my duct work fixed. Overall - low pressure & worth having them out.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike Ballard. From start to finish, the experience was great. Mike arrived promptly and took the time to thoroughly assess my home’s energy use. They were able to add insulation and seal our attic but a big selling point was them explaining how we really need to raise and seal our solar tubes and how much energy we were wasting. When they came to do the work, they were not able to raise them and they are still hanging off the ceiling. To me it’s a classic case of over promising and under delivering<br><br>They did try and come back but said that even if they broke the seal, raised them, and sealed they’d drop again. I reached out and was told that was all they could do.<br><br>Disappointed overall but giving 3 stars because they did what they said they would do with insulation, vents, and the ducts.

Over the past seven years FOR Energy has replaced the windows in our home. The last replacement was the patio door unit. We chose the option of two of the three sections sliding into each other allowing a full six foot opening onto the patio making our outdoor living space an extension of the AZ room.

These guys were great! The windows came in weeks before the promised date and they sent their crew out right away. The installers were quick, efficient and they left the place spotless. I highly recommend this company and their crews that care about their craftsmanship and their customers.

Josh came down and gave us a great home assessment. He arrived right on time, was extremely professional and was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. He was thorough in his findings and was able to show us exactly where our house could use improvements and he offered a comprehensive list of items we could tackle on our own. We were very impressed with his service.

Would i recommend them? No. Would I do it again? No.<br><br>My house had one hot spot, the kitchen. FOR Energy said my current insulation was installed wrong, and I needed to remove it. So we did. Problems throughout the entire process. The final result is that my entire house now has hot spots. The master bedroom is so hot at night. I sweat all night, even with two fans on. The company said I need to get my AC inspected. It has an annual inspection two weeks prior. But I had it re-inspected because FOR Energy said the ac companies sometimes do a quick job and miss things. So the ac company came back out and did a full inspection and gave me a write report saying the ac was fine. FOE Energy weeks later, after calling and emailing them, they sent out the attic insulation installers to inspect the attic. All they did was pop their head up in the attic and say it looks good. Do know I had like 25 plus inches of blown insulation and not I have 16 inches. And they insisted on the r44 was enough and above the Energy star ratings. All I know is it still sucks. It's hot. If you have zero or less than 16, maybe it would help. Call around and get other quotes. They are high. But as a consumer, what can I do now...<br><br>Oh, and they would not cover the bare name duct in the photos, and I said, "Would that cause it to be hot?" Oh, it will get blown. I said yes, the blown stuff will cover it some, but not all they way. Oh, don't worry about it. So after the refused, I went to Home Depot, bought backless rolling insulation, and wrapped it myself. I am not paying almost $14k for my duct to blow hot air. Well, it is still hot, but i am sure it helped somewhat. Just annoying that they don't give a crap about the overall job. They just want to finish and go on to the next job.<br><br>Sorry, it pictures are out of order.<br><br>UPDATE:<br>The bill is in! My SRP bill, I am supposed to get, and I am $20 higher year-over-year. Yeah! I was better off before and did not have a $13k bill from FOR Energy, and my monthly SRP was lower.

Do NOT recommend - Classic bait-and-switch scam.<br><br>I met a ForEnergy sales rep at the Mesa Swap Meet. He asked me some questions about my home efficiency, I responded, he invited me to have a free energy audit performed, I asked him how much services normally are after the audit, he said a couple hundred dollars (spoiler - It was actually several thousand).<br><br>Let's start with the good parts about my experience, although there are only few. The rep who performed my initial free audit was very thorough, climbing through my attic and taking lots of pictures and giving me a thorough breakdown of the services offered. For being Free, I was highly impressed with the service I received so I decided to move forward. And had ForEnergy delivered on the services that were described and contracted, I likely would have been very satisfied.<br><br>I had contracted for new insulation and an Aeroseal duct sealing, since 2/3 of the duct's in my attic are not accessible due to being a flat sonaran roof. The Aeroseal service is not cheap, which I knew up front, but I choose to pay for the service since there was no viable alternative with a flat roof. I was assigned a Project Manager named Nick. Nick seemed perfectly pleasant on the phone in advance of the scheduled service, but the first red flag was when the day of service arrived and Nick did not show up. Two ForEnergy technicians who did not speak much english showed up as well as the Aeroseal technician.<br>The Aeroseal technician performed an inspection of my attic vents and determined that my ductwork was not suitable for Aeroseal and that, rather than waste my money, he would cancel the seal. I agreed and thanked him for his honesty and then called Nick. Nick did not pick up so I left him a message, he called me back about an hour later and said that unfortunately the two ForEnergy reps on site had gone ahead and started ducttaping around my vents manually since the Aeroseal guy left. I argued and argued but he refused to refund me for the Aeroseal, so instead I paid a massive fee to have duct tape on my air vents, something I could have done myself in 10 minutes for free. When my wife went to paint the air return covers a few days later it was discovered that the duct taping around the returns had large holes in it. It appears the face around the return was sealed but when the cover was re-installed it tore right through the tape rendering it useless.<br><br>The next day, the insulation guys showed up. They were also not from ForEnergy, they were a subcontracted insulation vendor, so any ads that state how ForEnergy does "everything in house" is just a blatant lie. I have no issues with the insulation install, although, had I contracted directly with the company instead of through ForEnergy, I would have saved at least several hundred dollars.<br><br>After the service, ForEnergy issued me a report of how they "increased" my homes energy. They give my home an energy efficiency rating, in which 1 is a very efficient house and 7 is "serious leaks". I scored 10.7 and have seen no measurable reduction in my energy bills.<br><br>In summary, I paid ForEnergy several thousand dollars for them to slap some duct tape on my vents, contract to some other vendors, and "increase" my home's efficiency to an off-the-chart terrible score.

I signed up to get my ducts sealed, but ended up with a dirty living room, misaligned intake grill, over $1k charged, and the worst part about it was that my ducts weren't sealed.<br><br>I signed up to have my home evaluated for its energy efficiency. The sales guy was friendly and respectful. We discussed that we had our attic filled with insulation recently and that it might have caused leaky ducts. We also discussed replacing the intake grill for the HVAC. We discussed a price but when I got the quote it was for $100 more. This should have been my first sign to pull the plug on this project.<br><br>The contract you sign requires you to post on your personal social media of else they will charge you 5% more. The sales guy initially told us this "5%" discount was for signing up the same day. Later I discovered it was for the forced social media post. Here is the wording from the contract:<br><br>"Owner agrees to complete the selected Pay it FORward marketing items within (1) week of the installation being completed. Owner also understands that if Owner took advantage of the Pay it FORward Program and the items are not completed within (1) week of the installation being complete, Contractor will charge 5% (or percentage given as a discount) of the total invoice that was originally given as a discount."<br><br>I got a call to schedule the work the same week. However, that got canceled. We rescheduled for the week after for 8am. When that day came, the workers came at 6:50am.<br><br>The workers started with the blower door test to verify the amount of leak from the ducts. I expected there to be more diligence done about verifying that the rest of the house was sealed, like the fireplace. The blower test showed that the ducts were too leaky for the aeroseal treatment and they would need to seal it first from inside the attic. I expected this based on the conversation with the sales guy and the amount of dust of the registers.<br><br>The attic was recently filled with additional insulation. However, the entrance has about 4 feet that needs to be moved away before you can enter. Once you're in the attic, it's between R-38 to R-49. This is a standard amount of insulation in an attic. But because of the attic access being tighter, they decided that they can't complete the job. However this was after they already took off the intake grill for my HVAC.<br><br>They put the old intake grill back on, but the alignment isn't right and now it does not sit flush. After they left, I noticed black soot through out my living room. Because the fireplace was not sealed, the pressure caused the ash from my fireplace to fall out. I'm still finding the ash all over my house.<br><br>All of this was frustrating but I still wasn't going to leave a review. It was until I checked my account and saw they charged me half the work.<br><br>Im sure this company is capable of doing good work. But it's pretty obviously to me that they're prioritizing growth of their business over quality of work. There's no way to know what you'll get.<br><br>I should mention that they did offer to come back to fix the intake grill. Based on how the process has been from start to finish, I don't trust them fixing the grill (especially since they wouldn't be making money off of the work).

I can't say enough about the the windows in our Arizona room. From working with Jen Rylski, to the actual installing of the windows. As you can see from the pictures, no one can see in our windows and it lowered the temperature by 15 degrees. Thank you For Energy. Job well done!

I purchased a 90-year-old home that needed some work. I had FOR Energy out to do an audit to assess my issues. I met with Jen and she thoroughly explained the report and also showed me simple DIY. I had them replace my damaged duct work, insulate my attic, and replace my HVAC. Ruben’s crew were professional, kind, and went above the call of duty. I appreciated how they checked their work and showed me several after pictures to confirm it was done correctly. I can finally feel air flow out of my vents for the first time and it was surprising how great my house instantly felt! I am very satisfied and I highly recommend FOR Energy.
