I believe his name was John, he saw what needed to be done ,wasted no time and went to work. He was efficient and explained what he was doing. This was a retreat for termites

John was late and did not call ahead to let us know he was going to be late. That is not good or professional and he caused us to be late picking up our daughter from school early dismissal. That is why we scheduled from 8-12 for treatment. So we would be on time to pick up our daughter.

John was timely and called ahead. When he arrived, I was standing outside. He parked in front of the drive way instead of in front of the house. I also notice he was smoking as he sat in the truck. As he was getting out I asked if he could pull up as my wife was getting ready to leave. I showed John the locations of the termites. He explained what the process would be for treatment. During this time the smell of cigarettes permeated his path. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke. It also bothers my wife. He completed the work in a timely manner. One of the locations of the termites was near the toilet in the master bath. The termites made a path up from one of the bolts securing the toilet. The other was the exterior of the shower area where this has been a recurring problem.<br><br>Later in the day, I noticed that he had brushed away the termite tubes but did not vacuum up the debris. I had to go in and vacuum and clean the floor. My wife also discovered had used one of our decorative hand towels to wipe the treatment fluid from the wall. It is yet to be determined if the towel is ruined.<br><br>Bottom line, the visit was less than professional. Previous experiences have always been professional, neat and timely. If we need future treatment I'd respectfully request John not be assigned.

Terrible customer service. Ive called 5 times over the past 2 days and ive been on hold for 10 minutes each time. Then an AI person says they will put you on a call queue but then they never call you back. I finally got a hold of a real person twice and both times they said they can schedule me another lady has to but she's on a phone call so she will call you back in 30 minutes and then again they NEVER call back. The two people who I have talked to were so rude as well and never apologized when I said they keep saying they call back and dont.

What is with their trucks driving like maniacs? License plate JZA 9PI is driving down Carefree Hwy right now like he is drunk, I am putting this review in so when he hurts someone it comes back on the company since I see other reviews also.

I was forced to use Budget Brother's Termite service because a buyer of my property wanted me to use their service to do a total termite treatment. I have had scheduling issues every time i try to get them out to our home. At this moment, we are closing escore on Wednesday and they promised they would come to our home this morning and are choosing to postpone our service (again) to service other customers putting our close in jeopardy. I spoke to the reception and she said there was nothing they could do about it but went to a supervisor to call me back. that never happened, when i called back in an hour I was received by an AI messenger that would not permit me to speak to a real person to solve my problem. Still waiting. UPDATE: While i had a very difficult time getting ahold of people to help, and they have tried to postpone my service more than once, part of the communication issue could be my phone note taking "stranger" calls. i will say the gentlemen that came out today did a great job and was very efficient.

Called and had a AI representative and honestly it was good and thought it was a live person… not the way to provide customer service and if you like to be jerked around on the phone then by all means do business with this company… otherwise stay away

Originally signed up with Hardline Pest and unfortunately they were bought out by Budget Brothers. It's nowhere near the same level of service and they say they'll return your call but they don't. Not impressed with this service at all.

Scott was outstanding. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He treated a termite tunnel on the ceiling in our master bathroom and you would never know the area was treated. No retouching needed. He also treated our entire home perimeter with the same care and professionalism. I highly recommend Budget Brothers Termite and Pest Elimination. They do outstanding work

Really bad customer service. I’ve had to pull teeth to get them to retreat for a failed termite treatment. And then I find out the people that come spray are not qualified to inspect the house for activity. They have no clue what they’re looking for. Next appointment for a retreat is 3 weeks out… because they’re more interested in taking new money than correctly servicing an old account.

These guys came out to do my property and I still have termite issues. When I called them this lady who was very aggressive and does not let you talk or listen to the concerns told me to sign up again so they can use the better product that actually works and admitted the first time they came out they were using something that didn’t work. That didn’t make sense or sit well with me. This company seems to scam you to sign up again so they can double charge for the better product. I’ve lost confidence in them when they admitted to knowing their product didn't work the first time.

A nightmare. Want to hire a company that doesn’t respect their appointments? Calls the morning of your appointment to cancel? Doesn’t honor their warranty when they are the ones that reschedule your warranty appointment?<br><br>I’ve paid for 2 full treatments in less than 3 years only to continue to have problems, their answer? A warranty appointment 1 month+ out on the schedule only to call TWICE the morning of those appointments for the to be “rescheduled” another few weeks out. What a joke of customer service.

Jose was friendly and kind, and I enjoyed our conversation after the work was completed. He seemed thorough and precise in what he did. I wasn’t aware that the work would be done that same day and expected it to be more of an initial inspection, so they will need to return to complete the garage. I also thought the person who scheduled the appointment would mention which areas needed to be clear of weeds or clutter beforehand, as that wasn’t communicated. Overall, though, the experience was good.

Very concerned when first discovered the trail of sawdust. It was in the same area that was discovered eight years ago. Made me think it would be something that would be an ongoing problem. Your technician was very thorough and competent so I have good feeling about the outcome

We had budget brothers termite take care of termites we found when we bought our home three years ago. We have now used the five-year warranty twice and it has been exceptionally good service. In particular, Joseph serviced us today and was very extensive and explained everything to us. Very, very happy with their services.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Budget Brothers Termite & Pest has been consistently disappointing and extremely frustrating.<br><br>I became a customer after they acquired my previous pest control provider, and things went downhill quickly. They repeatedly mishandled my billing — going months without charging me, then sending large combined invoices, claiming they “lost” my payment information, and charging multiple months at once even after I provided updated card details. Each time I called, I received polite promises that everything was fixed, but the issues continued.<br><br>The situation escalated when I started seeing a few cockroaches isolated to one bathroom cabinet. I was transferred to a representative who insisted it was a German cockroach infestation and required a $400 multi-week treatment. I was sent a prep list that was extremely extensive and required me to take a full day off work, remove the contents of every cabinet and closet in my home, pay for a dog sitter, and rent a workspace because my home couldn’t be occupied for hours.<br><br>When the technician arrived, he immediately identified the bug as an American cockroach — which is covered under my standard service — and informed me that I did not need to leave the house at all. This directly contradicted everything I had been told. When I tried to address this miscommunication, I was met with excuses and attempts to smooth things over rather than actual accountability.<br><br>We decided to give it one more chance, but the following week the scheduled treatment simply never happened. After multiple attempts to reach a manager (including a six-hour wait), the manager minimized the situation and only focused on rescheduling, ignoring the repeated billing errors, misinformation, and unnecessary disruption caused to my household. We ultimately pushed for a refund, which we eventually received.<br><br>Even after canceling, I continued to be charged. I also discovered my monthly rate had been raised from $45 to $47 without any notice, and the math behind the “bi-monthly” explanation did not align. I am still waiting for a call back regarding that discrepancy.<br><br>Overall, this company has shown a consistent lack of communication, accuracy, and accountability. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Budget Brothers and will not be using their services again.

Duncan was the technician that showed up. He was very professional and did a great job with a VA termite inspection. After the inspection he gave me so advice on what to look out for and preventative maintenance tips to keep the little buggers out. I appreciate him and Budget brothers termite inspection service.

They guarantee their work and will come out to do spot treatments as needed. It has been 5 years since we had it treated the last time, so we had them come out and treat our whole house again for termites. The technician was very well informed and explained everything her was doing.

Jonathan was great. He inspected the areas of concern and suggested treatments in those areas that had never been mentioned before. He answered any questions we had and made sure all our concerns were addressed. He completed the treatments inside and outside the home quietly, efficiently and with great care.

Since this company has "merged" with and taken over operation from AZ Termite, the service is really a one star experience(I gave them 2 for transition purposes). I never received any information that the company was changing. I purchased a $700 warranty for retreats from AZ Termite(whom I have used for years). After several calls to Budget Bros, I had to hold for over an hour because their callback system is a robo call # that goes directly to my voicemail ( in order to receive a phone call from any Robo call number you have to disable your spam filters through your carrier, and then remember to turn them back on! A real pain in the butt just to get a call back.) Email did not elicit a response either.<br>Finally after speaking with Gina, I was able to get an appointment for 3 weeks out because the new company has only one technician for my area in Scottsdale.<br>I asked for a confirmation via email that i didnt receive and had to go through the whole call back ordeal again to ask for my confirmation email (over a week later).<br>When John did show up today(15 mins past the latest time in the window), he was short and curt with my tenant. He treated just one area in the garage and said if they come back in 90 day call them back. Well, my warranty is for a much greater time than that.<br>I would suggest the new company put together a better customer service system for their clients.<br>I was referred to AZ Termite by a home inspector friend of mine. I will be letting him know about this experience with the new company.

Been a monthly customer for over seven years. They would raise prices perhaps 3-5% per year during this time period. Between last year and this year they raised my monthly by over 20%!! No way. Gone to a better and less expensive pest control company. You need to price/value yourself by getting competitive bids from other service providers.

Joseph came out to help me when I discovered termites in my rental shortly after moving in. I was very upset and overwhelmed, but he immediately put me at ease. Good company. Phone lines can be a bit backed up but the CSRs are very courteous & helpful when you talk to them. Both the individuals (Brandon & Trevor) who came to do the inspection & then the extermination were on time, cordial, and efficient. We opted for 5-yr service as termites have been on the rise in our area and it was a much better deal than renewing annually.

John was great. He was in and out in a matter of minutes after a thorough review of my walls inside and outside. Mr. David Did came<br>over and Supposed to be retreat the area they have done in the past.This is under the warranty. And he just looked the area needs to be taken care ,He says the home need to do additional drilling additional service to the house and I have told them everything has done the same thing Supposed to be under the warranty, Mr. David says he cannot treat the area today because he have no equipment to do that. I do not know why I waited for 10 days I called the company again to ask the question about when people will come into the area To do the treatment ? I have been told to wait another 10 days and schedule me for 29th For another 7-10 days I asked them why The inspector cannot treat the area today ?The other previous inspector has done it on the spot?Why he cannot do the treatment today? because he has no tools no equipment to treat the area right now and I have to wait, it didn’t make sense to me. Wait for 10 days? so I’m not happy with the service has to be done the same day I assume under the warranty!

Arrived and did a much better job than previous company did trenching. He even helped move stuff away from several walks to trenching. Mat and the tech with him were very professional.

Spence came to the house yesterday, Friday afternoon. He had the information from Bernard, as to where the issues were. He did walk around with me to confirm the tunnels and if there were any other ones. He explained what the proceed was and why. He quickly got to work drilling the holes and trenching near the foundation. He treated and filled back the areas. He then came into the house to treat inside areas. Spence did a great job, he was very professional. I even learned a bit about those nasty little bugs from Spence. Good information to know! 👍

They used to be good before they were bought out recently. They are supposed to call and schedule the service but they never do anymore and the rep just shows up randomly. I’ve told them several times and the technicians have as well, but they continue to do the same thing. It’s disappointing because the technicians are actually good, but their admin process is now terrible.

Avoid this company at all costs!<br>We moved into our home with a warranty, and they came out about five months ago for a termite issue. When we called to report that the termites had returned in the exact same spot, their response was shocking—they told us to knock down the tunnels ourselves and only call back if they reappeared within 48 hours.<br><br>When we finally managed to get a hold of them, instead of properly treating the problem, they wanted us to “clean it up” for them. Absolutely unacceptable!<br><br>Terrible customer service and zero accountability. Save yourself the frustration—go with a professional company that actually stands behind their work.

I got 4 quotes, including 2 of the biggest....Action Termite and Bill's Termite.<br>Budget offered the best solution, including:<br>* Drilling into the outer stem wall, to bypass drilling into the flagstone pavers<br>* Termidor HE termicide (the 2 above quoted cheaper, less long-lasting termicide)<br>* Suggested seeping in termicide solution where there’s space/crack between travertine and house and outdoor Vegas (he was the only one that noticed there was also old termite damage on the Vegas)<br>* And instead of literally cutting a hole in the wall to get under the bathtub (where Action said the termites were “probably coming in”…but without any proof), they suggested drilling in the grout around the tub on all sides.<br>* Does price match (they lowered their pice to match the 4th company, who did quote Termidor.<br>* Has been in business 25 years (important, especially since we went with the 5 year warranty)

I have used Budget Brothers for a few years now for termite treatment. They have always been very responsive and friendly. David came out this visit as I had exceeded my five years since a full treatment. He was very thorough and checked all areas of the home and gave me a recommendation for treatment.

Had a little mishap with my usual service, but the company was quick to rectify! Customer service was friendly and helpful, and I appreciate that. NO TERMITES as shown on the service report, "NONE ACTIVE" but I was charged 790.00 for a termite treatment which I did not authorize. Inspector/tech confirmed no termites on the 25th the day of inspection, yet 5 days later Budget Bros send me a new document that says termites to compensate for the 790.00 charge after I was told by Tammy that I would be refunded after providing this service report. Now they claim on the 29th there were termites. Would you trust the report that was done by the tech on the 25th or the new report timestamped/received by the office on the 29th. SCAM beware

Extremely disappointing experience. I’ve spent over 8 hours on hold in the past two days, repeatedly promised a required report that never arrived. Instead, I was only sent invoices, which forced me back into the same long hold process again and again.<br><br>This failure directly delayed the sale of my client’s home after they were charged for a service that was never delivered. Communication is nearly impossible, with long hold times, transfers, and broken promises.<br><br>Please reach out to resolve this issue. If it’s corrected promptly, I’m more than willing to update this review.

I had three inspections done before choosing Budget Brothers. Best price for the most comprehensive service and peace of mind. Joseph even went in my crawlspace on my mobile home, which no company I’d talked to prior had been willing to do. He is great! So thankful to have found this company. Got the 5 year warranty and will go with them again! Whew! No more termites!

Joseph, a technician from Budget Brothers Termite & Pest Elimination inspected my home today for termites as per our annual agreement. He was right on time. He was polite and professional yet kind and concerned. I have only lived in AZ 2 years and am from the Midwest so I am not at all familiar with termites. Joseph took the time, during his inspection of my home inside and out, to explain exactly what to look for in terms of finding termites in my home. He was very patient and reassuring with all my questions and concerns. I'm not sure how this compares to other companies as I have no experience with anyone else and I won't any time soon. I am very satisfied and happy with the service that Joseph provided today on behalf of Budget Brothers.

I gave one star but I wish I could give zero. I bought a house that had a warranty with budget brothers for termites. The inspector saw termites and the previous owner called budget brothers out to treat. We asked that they treat the whole house but they only did a spot treatment. Then a few months after we took ownership we noticed a termite tube coming down from the roof inside the house. I called budget brothers to schedule an appointment since our warranty with them is up in December. (It was the end of September) they told me I needed to wait two weeks to see if the termites get worse and are active before they come out. I could tell right away it was getting worse, a second tube came down and I called again. Finally by the third call they scheduled an appointment but it was still over two and a half weeks away from that point. So by the time they would come out it would have been a month from the first time I noticed the tube. Another tube showed up and I called again to try and get them out sooner: by the time a fourth tube came down and they wouldn’t answer their phone I called my normal pest company that I’ve used at my previous home. They came out within a couple days. Not only do I have the tubes in the house but they found about 7-10 tubes on the house outside. Also, budget brothers told me the whole house was treated by the previous owners in December. But the new company and I could only find a couple drill spots where the house was treated in the front yard and one spot in the backyard. But NOT the whole backyard area or anywhere else up front. I also find it funny that as soon as I told budget brothers I was canceling my appointment and going with someone else they magically had cancellations and could get someone out to my house at my earliest convenience. But it was too little too late. I definitely do not recommend them to anyone. They don’t actually treat the problem, just spot treat areas and then when it pops up somewhere else they expect you to wait until it’s convenient for them to come out. It’s also very hard to get a hold of someone. Every time I called it went to voice mail and then I would get a text. When I responded to the text I would get a call a few hours later. Do yourself a favor and find another company to go with. Because it’s not really a budget when you have to pay someone else to come fix what budget brothers can’t seem to do.
