Bright Home Construction & Restoration

This company has been a nightmare to work with. They started "working" on our house restoration almost a year ago. They get paid by our home insurance and they just hire sub-contractor handymen's to do the job for the lowest rates. I, as a homeowner, should have done my research before working with this company. There were so many red flags that we ignored. Until this day they have not finished their work and no one has reached out.

Bright Home recently completed the restoration work on our home after a flooding incident. This house was a rental for us (owners) and we live out of state so we had rely strictly on updates from the Bright Home Team.<br><br>We had a VERY rocky start due to non communication and multiple follow up promises which never occurred. It got to the point to where I had to involve the owner of the business in order to generate responses from their team. (We had already signed the agreement and put down a hefty downpayment).<br><br>I will say after multiple frustrated calls and texts to the owner and finally a group text thread with the owner, Project Manager and Supervisor things finally started chugging along and we felt as if they were actually prioritizing the property.<br><br>They went above and beyond at the end to make up for the issues and frustrations early on which I can appreciate (the reason for a 4 star and not a lower review). The final work they completed also looked really good so no complaints there.<br><br>I would recommend their company but go into it with the expectation that these jobs take time and that if you're not local to where the work is being done, you may have to take extra steps to ensure their delivering on the promises made. If your insurance is not covering for Loss of use or loss of rent, it may be worth looking into another business who is less busy and can knock things out faster for you.

Run, don’t walk; in fact perhaps solicit The Flash to get away from these guys as fast as possible.<br><br>About 5 months: no work plan.<br><br>We didn’t know how water/restoration repair services worked and Bright was presented as the next step/ final remodel. They came out and got all measurements and then after discussing options, we would hear nothing back. Then they’d have someone new contact and introduce themselves as new manager and start all over; each time hitting up insurance for things that in the end were not covered, like removing the medicine cabinet to paint. We wanted to assure details before any deposits and after 3 changes of project management and not receiving plans clearly stated; the final admitted he had 30 projects dumped on him. He didn’t even respond when I told him to cancel any intended work. If the company worked with integrity, workers wouldn’t leave. Grapevine says there are referral schemes, and I can’t know if that’s true, but if you’re here reading reviews to determine if Bright will be a good choice, then please take advice and go elsewhere. Radar Restoration was our saving grace: they completed the job 10 days from initial contact within budget and beautiful.

The tradesmen, Rene & Chet, are professional, courteous and friendly. Chet was quick to respond to questions that i texted him. Rene kept us informed while he was working, When Rene was done, he let us know so that we could check it out before he left. Chet came later to do a followup inspection. I highly recommend them.

Bright Hime was great! Friendly, responsive, and helpful. The work was done so well and pleased my perfectionist eye! They cared about the details and product. Andrew was helpful and communicative through the whole process and made the process easy. It was an excellent experience - despite going through construction!

Bright Home Construction handled my restoration project from the beginning. Ron Jester was the adjuster and kept me in the loop from the beginning to the end; and made sure that everything was covered and provided all of the justification and documentation necessary. I cannot say enough about JT - Supervisor of the project, he was absolutely great. When I encountered a snafu on part of the project, he stepped in and gave a quick and agreeable solution. Also, Rock came to my home to make sure that once my furniture was removed so that work could proceed on my flooring, he took picture upon picture; and low and behold when the restoration on the floor was done, he put everything back the way it was. They did a stand-up job of managing every detail that they needed to manage and made sure that all of our needs were met.<br><br>One last note: I am sure there are other loyal and competent workers working for Bright Homes, but if you can, ask for Ron, JT and Rock and you will be more than pleased with the results. I am sure there are other companies that do restoration work; but I HIGHLY RECOMMED them for any type of restoration work, and for that matter any type of construction remodels, etc.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bright Home Construction & Restoration, who helped us after we had a serious leak under our kitchen island. They worked with our insurance company to get our claim approved, lined up all the tradesmen and kept us very well informed as to each upcoming step. Very pleased with the process and end result.

It was a pleasant experience with Bright home restoration. the superintendent Trey Weech was very Knowledgeable and very helpful. Bright Home was assigned to me via my insurer and restoration company. From the first contact, their representatives, particularly Andrew, have been thorough and thoughtful. The crew was efficient, fairly quiet, and respectful of my home. At the post work inspection, Andrew noticed some small areas for touch ups. He had a crew member return the same day. I had a concern about the paint coverage and he also managed that issue right away<br>Andrew and his team were on time with every appointment.<br>I was very pleased with all my interactions, including with Ron, Jaja, and particularly, Andrew.<br><br>Today, all work is done and the furniture is where it belongs. We really enjoyed working with Trey and all the professionals at Bright home construction and even though before them. But the materials that were available and the extra work, they went through to make sure that everything was covered properly by insurance and getting things done on time was incredible. But the end result is what’s really important and their subcontractors And everybody they used were meticulous and we are very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them. My husband already added 16 photos so I won’t duplicate those. But great outfit to work with.

Bright Home Construction and our superintendent Trey Welch and also the general manager for a job Brendan Skinner, along with Ron Jester, who worked side-by-side with my insurance company to make sure that everything was covered and provided all of the justification and documentation necessary. They did a stand up job of managing every detail that they needed to manage and making sure that all of our needs were met. And they also worked overtime to make sure that our time deadline was met. It was down to the wire, but they did everything that they needed to do to make sure it happened. Not an easy job and my God what a beautiful job that they and all their subcontractors did. I highly recommend them for any insurance loss job Or even any type of remodel.

We have used Bright Homes Construction twice in the last 2 years. JT was the lead for BHC and he is why I’m giving 5 star rating. He made sure all the work was done in a timely manner. After every completed project he would do a walk thru with my wife and I to be sure it met our standards. And yes we did have some but they were all addressed to our complete satisfaction. The one thing that made JT a standout is communication with us throughout the sometimes long process. Would not hesitate to use again. SK

Water heater went south and caused appreciable floor and sheetrock damage. Bright Home took the worry and guesswork out of the equation, especially given imminent major surgery and Christmas looming. Response, professionalism, knowledge and expertise of the associates solved the whole issue in a very timely fashion. Should the need arise we will definitely call them back. Enthusiastically recommended!

We had a water leak between our half bath and kitchen walls. Bright home did the restoration after plumbing was fixed. Work was done in a timely manner and excellent quality. Highly recommend this company.

They made the process quick and the repairs came out perfect. It was a part of my garage ceiling that had to have the sheet rock replaced, textured, and painted. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received in our flood restoration! Rock and Jacob were on site instantly and within minutes we had damage repairs diagnosed and underway. I recently experienced a flood in my home and hired Bright Home Construction to assist with the aftermath. Ron, from Bright Home, has been an absolute pleasure to work with throughout this challenging time. His communication is excellent; I always knew the status of the situation and felt well-informed. After a major water leak, we retained Bright Home for replacement of the damaged wood floors, along with dry wall repairs and interior painting. We took advantage of having Bright Home as a general contractor to complete projects that we have wanted to do for years. Those projects included a custom quartzite fireplace in the living room with cabinets and floating shelves and, for the kitchen, new quartzite counters, back splash with floating shelves and a waterfall kitchen island. Additional custom counters were also built for the kitchen. These projects were led by Trey Weech, our project manager. He did a great job communicating, checking in on work progress, staying on schedule, coordinating subs and, most importantly, finding the highest quality subs for the custom work. The stone work was exceptional and the new cabinets were beautifully designed and built. All of the trades (painting, electrical and flooring) did outstanding work. We highly recommend Bright Home for restoration, remodeling and renovation projects.

From first phone call to the adjuster (Jay) to the project supervisior (JT) we felt we were always in "the loop".... everything was done when and exactly as we were told it would be.... the "trades" were all professional! Would I recommend Bright Home Construction? Of course I would and will!

My experience started out positive. I was refereed to them by the demo company. They sent someone out to take photos and submitted them to my insurance company. I reviewed the options that I was interested in to redo my bathroom. They had me drive to a flooring store and pick out the materials that I wanted. This is where it went all down hill.<br><br>From here I had to continuously follow up on the remodel plans. After a couple weeks with still no quotes, I asked them to not remodel the area and just restore it as close to the original because I could not keep waiting for my shower to be fixed.<br><br>I waited a few more days and nothing. I called to let them know I was getting other bids due to the lack of communication. It is only then they rushed a quote to me. Their quote was significantly higher then the two others that I had.<br><br>I left a voicemail asking for them to call me back to discuss the amount they were asking me to pay for the work submitted to my insurance company. It was never returned but they did send me an invoice.<br><br>Overall, TERRIBLE communication and you the customer will be taken advantage of. All they want is the insurance money but won't deliver on their end of the deal. LOOK TO ANOTHER COMPANY!

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Bright Home Construction. Jacob Jennings the project manager was professional, knowledgeable, and constantly communicated well throughout the entire process. All of the workers (Mario, Francisco, Joshua and Omar) did a fantastic job with our kitchen island rebuild. It was restored as if nothing ever happened! Also, a shout out to Jay, Ron and Brendan for all of the upfront work. I would not hesitate to recommend them for anyone that needs construction/restoration. 5-star rating in my book!

I had Bright Home do an estimate for drywall repair in my house. They were very thorough, professional and fair, and though they were not the lowest bid on this project, I would definitely contact them for future projects.

I am an insurance agency principal and I have sent several of my clients with home insurance claims to Andy and his team. The last referral I sent him was a client of mine that had already been through 2 different contractors that had NO experience dealing with insurance adjusters and were only able to secure less than half the amount required to do the repairs. She wasted 3 months on the other contractors before taking my advice and calling Bright Home Construction and her biggest regret is all the time wasted with the other guys because he was the one that got it done. There is a big difference between contractors who know their stuff and contractors who know their stuff AND know how to work with insurance adjusters dealing with large insurance claims. Andy's team is definitely the later. I even use them myself for my commercial office buildings I own and I can witness for myself they have fixed some outright disasters.

Trey from Bright Home was extremely attentive and took pride in making sure the repairs were done perfectly. He also made sure he communicated all that was happening with the subcontractors.

My husband and I have never had a home insurance issue before, so this is new to us. Our water heater flooded our garage and the front bedroom and hallway of our home on Oct. 13, 2023.<br><br>We still aren't complete. It's been one issue after another with Bright Home. First, they blamed our insurance for the lengthy delay on approving the claim. We believed them - until our own bad experiences started to pile up. Now, we wonder if the approval delay was just one more example of their incompetence.<br><br>They showed up and measured everything with lasers and promised us they cannot only restore our home, but will also be able to add on additional painting (the affected hallway) and fix our doorframes while they're doing the rest of the restoration. It was all smiles and agreement that they'd do whatever we wanted.<br><br>When painting and trim day finally came, our PM specifically told the subcontractors not to fix anything on the door frames except the outer trim, which is not at all what we'd discussed. It looked so ridiculous with this half-attempt that even the painters couldn't believe it - and, being artisans, they did the best they could to go above and beyond to make it look decent.<br><br>BUT NOW it's finally carpet install day FOUR MONTHS LATER and THEY DIDN'T ORDER ENOUGH CARPET - which we were were informed of AFTER ALL OF OUR OLD CARPET WAS RIPPED UP. The carpet installer is here now!<br><br>Their subcontractors are hard working and seemingly do a great job, but communication and project management is as bad as it gets.<br><br>We are so fed up. This is the worst experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Bright Home Construction handled all of our remodeling after our upstairs water leak. This included a complete bathroom remodel in addition to redoing the adjacent bedroom wall, flooring, and paint. Jacob, who oversaw the work, was very responsive, prompt, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

We worked with Trey on getting new cabinets for our whole home and had a great experience! Our cabinets are beautiful and great quality, and Trey worked hard to make sure the process was seamless. I was very happy with Bright Homes Construction. They did the repairs in my bathroom and kitchen from a water leak. They were very professional and I especially appreciated our contractor JT for the time he took to talk through all the repairs and answer all my questions. Randy also did a great job communicating with our insurance to make sure we had everything covered by insurance that we could. And the guy who did the work (I think his name was Jairo?) was excellent. Very thorough but also quick and efficient with the repairs. Very professional all around!

Andy initially came out to assess the damage and repair due to water leak damage to front wall that covered 8ft x 3ft of mold and deterioration of plywood and insulation. His team dealt with my insurance company which had initially sent me a check for less money and were able to recover more insurance proceeds. A big thank you to Andy, Trey and Jacob in moving forward with restorations. Very professional and responsive.

Working with my project superintendent, Trey, was a really good experience. I would definitely use Bright Home again. They were responsive and professional and hired good tradesmen, which is where the rubber meets the road. It's too bad they don't do exterior and remediation work or they would have been my one stop shop.

I was referred by a friend to Bright Home for some water damage drywall repair. We needed it done fast with a baby due any day now. Their main guy Andy is a super nice guy. Got the quote within a couple days, which actually beat out another company's price by a few hundred dollars. Parker set things up for us quickly and had a guy come out just over a week after the quote came through. We were happy with the timeframe especially after waiting for months for our HOA to fix the exterior. Service and quality was great. I'd definitely use Bright Home again.

If you need your house rehabilitated back to normal through a homeowners insurance claim (or not!) call Andy at Bright Home Construction!<br><br>In Aug 2022, my home in Gilbert was hit by a giant monsoon storm that overwhelmed my sump pump and flooded 80% of my basement. I called Andy's team and Andy himself came to my house after-hours to measure and photograph the damage...he actually spent 3 hours ensuring an accurate, complete estimate was prepared to submit to the insurance company... outlined in a format exactly how the insurance company claims department requires!<br><br>This is so HUGE...because, the insurance company's initial review of Bright Home Construction's estimate was my final approved claim amount...when I spoke to the insurance claim's manager she said, and I quote, "I don't see anything on here that would be an issue covering."<br><br>More so, even if there was, Bright Home Construction actually is one of the few rehab/renovation construction companies I know that works directly with Insurance companies on behalf of the homeowner; negotiating, explaining, and articulating the proper claim amount and coverage is received by the homeowner.<br><br>All in all, it was less than 20-days from when claim was approved to project completion...and they made it a point to complete before my daughter's 11-birthday party!!!<br><br>Thank you Andy, Randy and everyone at Bright Home Construction for putting my home back together!

Ron and his team just finished the demo for our kitchen. They did a great job. They were very careful and quick. All was cleaned up when they were done and we are now on to our next phase.

Had my ceiling fall down after a leak in the attic and they came out right away, gave a fair quote, and started work immediately! Such great service and responsiveness. Jeff was professional and thorough in completing our shower makeover project, which included installation of concrete board, shower wall panels, valve and shower hardware, and caulking. The job was done beautifully and I'm happy with the results. Would highly recommend.

While doing some fall cleaning, we noticed a mold spot in the corner of a bedroom closet. We quickly found Bright Home Construction and called them that morning talking to Andy. Within a few hours, Andy was at our home inspecting the mold and explaining to us what may have been the cause. The next morning (within 24 hours of discovering the mold) Luke came to our home to remove the drywall, insulation, baseboard, and cleaned out the mold. Several days later, Jeff came to re-install the insulation, drywall, and baseboard molding, then re-texture and paint the area. Everyone from Bright Home was very prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the issue. Although I hope we do not have too many of these problems, I would not hesitate to contact bright Home Construction again as they did a fine job.

We were looking to refresh and widen the entrance to our front courtyard and have a couple of concrete columns and planter bowls removed. I contacted Andy via Yelp and got a pretty quick response from him. He came out and did the initial survey and gave us two detailed bids for removal of the columns & planters with clean up. His pricing was up front and transparent so we went with him. We are very glad that we did. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day and went right to work. They are very efficient and kept me informed during the process. By mid-afternoon, they were done and our front yard looked 1000x better with wider access. We will use Bright Home Construction again for our home projects.

A water pipe from an upstairs bathroom broke and the subsequent leaking caused the ceiling in the downstairs room to collapse. Andy and his crew came right away and within two days all of the damage was repaired, the walls were repainted, and everything looked absolutely wonderful.They were all very professional. I would recommend them to everyone that needs this type of services

We had what we thought was just a little leak from our water heater. I figured I better have everything checked out, just in case and boy am I glad I did. Mat sent Andy and Luke out. They inspected our water damage, helped us with our insurance co. Set up for us to dry out and have done a fantastic job. I would recommend Bright home to anyone!

Working with Andy is the best. We had part of our roof blow off during a monsoon storm. He came over and tarped the roof in the rain and began our demo and dryout inside our home that night. He has a lot of knowledge of the insurance process and has the ability to speak their language. He gets things done.

Called Bright Homs Construction, LLC one night around 9PM after experiencing a flood in our master bath. They were very responsive and come right out and started to dry out the areas, They were very helpful in getting our insurance claim filed and to make sure we received the. amount we needed from the insurance company to complete our job. They did some trim work to replace baseboards and door facings and repaired places damaged on our walls.

We recently did a major remodel in our office space and they were extremely easy to work with. They met with us and laid out a reasonable schedule to allow us to continue using our office during the remodel. They moved walls which included relocating electrical switches/outlets, ceiling tiles, doorways, drywall repairs, doors and flooring. Everything was done on schedule and within our budget. They did a great job for us and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional, quality contractor. Andy was a delight to work with.👍

Andy was amazing!! Showed up quickly when I called about a water leak behind a wall in my bathroom that had created a lot of damage. He arrived and started quickly to find the source of the leak and get it stopped. They did an amazing job drying it out and helping with all the steps to start repairs and even with the confusing insurance stuff. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Ben was our tile guy, and he was so great! Not only did he show up every day until the job was done, but he also sealed some of our older tile to make it look better against the new tile. Sunday morning my husband and I were cleaning dishes in the sink when we discovered one of the worst nightmares of any home owner. Water on the floor seeping out from under our cabinetry. We called a plumber right away, and our plumber turned to the expertise of Andy at Bright Home Construction. Andy and Luke were there within the hour to begin to mitigate the damage being done to our home. Andy took great care in cabinetry removal, dry out, and really took great pain in causing the least amount of damage to seek access to the source of the problem. Our insurance company insisted on having a second opinion come in and review the work done so far. The second party credited the nice job that has been done thus far, adding that he would have done all the same things. (Which I think is about the nicest compliment that one contractor is willing to give another.) We are not out of the woods yet, but I feel a great deal of comfort moving forward with this company during this calamity.

Andy was more than professional and great to work with. I had a small tile project and was eager to get it done. He was prompt with the appointment to review the job and provide a quote and then the crew was on time each day to get it done. Andy arrived within minutes of calling him and notifying him that my condo had just flooded. Andy and his team immediately went to work. Multiple units were damaged due to another unit above and my unit was the first to be out back together. I highly recommend Bright Home Comtruction.

The overflow valve in my upstairs bathroom was leaking water through onto the main floor. Andy and Luke from bright home construction were at my house in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday evening. They checked all around for water damage and were able to pinpoint that the water was coming from my overflow valve and left a fan for me to be able to dry out the drywall in my ceiling to avoid potential mold growth. Since there was no actual leak or significant damage I didn’t need any restoration/drywall repair so Andy left the fan for a few days and didn’t even charge me for his time or for his equipment. They’re the type of company that you can trust and call on a weekend night and they’re there to do honest fair work. I highly recommend and will be using them for any construction/handy man needs in the future. I found out their company can also do energy efficiency testing and solar, pretty sweet company that runs a big enough operation to be able to “do it all”, but feels like a ma and pop in terms of customer service and integrity.

They were fast and professional. I am a contractor and had an issue on a jobsite when one of my employees put a screw in a water line. It was a potential disaster. But! Andy from bright home came out quickly and made us look like we handled the situation like professionals.
