David was wonderful and discovered a serious problem with our dryer vent which could have had serious consequences if not repaired. Additionally, fixing the problem eliminated tons of dust out of our home. He tested our air ducts for leakage and was honest about what he found. No high pressure sales stuff. We highly recommend him as does Rosie on the House who referred him.

Zero stars for this company. I moved into a manufactured home. And my electric bills seemed a bit high. So I had a energy audit done. (Not from these guys, but the auditor recommended them for my repairs) however I wasn't gonna use them at first because I wanted to see what my home warranty would say. Of course they didn't want to fix my duct work so I called a different ac company. He confirmed what needed to be fixed but said he was very booked so if I could get it done sooner than he can to go ahead and do that. He also told me that the ac unit itself had to lift up to get to the area in question. So I decide to call these guys and it turned out they can fix the issue within a week. Perfect. I asked David if he needed to come out to verify everything since he was only quoting me a price based on what the auditor said. I even told him more than once that the ac needed to move. He said not to worry and his price won't change. So then he had a opening pop up even sooner and said he was gonna come fix everything. Well he did come. But not only did he not bring all the equipment he was supposed to. He also came un prepared to move the ac unit. He only brought himself. No help whatsoever. He then tells me he can't find any damage the author mentioned. I looked out my window a few min later and he was gone. I called the auditor just to see if he knew anything. He called me back and said he told David where the damage was and that David would call me back on Monday. Well Monday came and went. And nothing. Needless to say I called a different AC company who gave me a whole new unit and fixed all damage the very next day. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

David came out after I had scheduled an appointment for an energy audit. We purchased a home in 2016 that was built in 2000. Clearly the original owner did not have a proper owners home inspection conducted upon acceptance of the home.<br><br>The air distribution was poorly designed and installed. The master bedroom would not cool in the summer or heat in the winter. Amazing someone tolerant this condition for so long.<br>The upper floor over cooled and heated.<br><br>In our energy audit it was noted a few items poorly installed and poorly distributed, massive duct leakage and poor insulation in the attic space and on the ductwork.<br><br>The overall audit was very thorough and professionally done. We received a detailed report the following week which provided some recommended solutions and some optional solutions dependent on what we hoped to achieve. We wanted the ductwork sealed, additional insulation (lift & fill), modified air distribution, dampers and new air intake grills installed to improve the efficiency of the air flow.<br><br>David and his team came out as scheduled and was able to knock out all the modifications and improvements within the two long days but very thorough. My A/C unit was having a lot of difficulty keeping up with the summer heat and something seemed off. I had Green ID come in and do an energy audit which revealed poor insulation in my roof and leaky duct work attached to my A/C unit. They came back a couple of weeks later and replaced all the duct work and added spray-in insulation and the difference is night and day. Where my A/C wouldn't be able to cool the house to a temperature of less than 84 degrees in the middle of the day to comfortably holding at 79 all day long. Very glad I contacted them.

Mike did my audit and was very careful and detailed. I have had audits in the past and I would recommend GreenID. We have some minor issues we may address but I was happy to be told we are not in bad shape so nice to hear honesty.

Not sure about the companies audit services but salesmen are too aggressive and rude showing up unannounced without appointments which seems extremely unprofessional.

Green ID should be your go to HVAC sales and service contractor! David Byrnes is extremely knowledgeable and will provide a thorough and complete evaluation of your current system or of your needs for a new system. Their prices for HVAC units and service are quite reasonable and definitely below the big companies you see advertised on TV, mailings and newspapers. The installation team for the new heat pump I purchased were great. They did a quality job, were professional and friendly and cleaned up everything when they were done. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend them.

I heard about GreenID on the Arizona Midday show so I called them to do an energy audit. They sent Cory who was friendly, honest and trustworthy. He arrived with his name badge/inspection license and logo shirt. Along the way he would stop to show or educate me about something he found. He was very clean and careful not to make a mess. I provided my SRP electric usage history and he plugged that into his audit and prepared a wonderful presentation showing us the top recommendations for saving energy, and reducing dust on furniture. He took over 100 photos to show us the problem areas, so we felt confident what he was telling us is true. I was very thrilled with the energy audit experience and would highly recommend GreenID.

When GreenID came out and did the testing Mike the tester was accurate and explained alot of what he found. I was surprised when all the result came out that my house wasn't that bad and the recommendation that they had was what I was already thinking and they didn't try to get me to fix irrelevant things. GreenID will be coming out and doing the work within the next few weeks.

We had Green ID out to our home in June to do an Energy Audit. I never even knew this existed. It was like stupid cheap too. There were so many cool little fixes that helped for better air flow. Our master bedroom is the warmest in the house which makes no sense since the kids don't pay the utility bills.<br>David recommended many changes that should save us more than 25% on our utility bills. I can't afford everything right now so he helped me come up with a plan to get it all done over the next 6 months. Meanwhile we were able to fix the airflow problem right away which is awesome.

Had a new split system unit installed yesterday on a home I purchased a few months ago. Couldn't be happier w the service and quality of work. Green ID definitely went above and beyond. I had to leave my girlfriend home while they were doing the install, and at first was a little hesitant to not be around to check on the work. When I got home and looked everything over I was impressed! These guys definitely know what they are doing, and not like many other contractors I've worked with they left the place cleaner then when they got here!!! Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough positive things about the entire team from Green ID. Pete came to my house for an energy audit, and spent a great deal of time with us to ensure that we understood the findings and what could be done to address some of the deficiencies identified. The time spent with us was a significant factor when choosing the company to carry out the work Pete suggested. I had a rather extensive amount of work completed on my home…new packaged unit, new ducts, new insulation, air leaks, etc. The crew arrived on time, and all of the guys were very processional and friendly…over the course of both days, I asked each crew member questions about the work they were carrying out, and every person was very receptive to answering my question thoroughly. David, the owner, also came out to the house to ensure that the work was being carried out to his standards. He jumped in to help the crew out. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up. These guys were honest and did great work. Dave, the owner, is a great guy and helped us every step of the way. The initial cost to do the work for "going green" is expensive regardless of the company, but after three months I can tell you it's totally worth it. My electricity bill for July was literally cut in half!!! If you decide to get a Green Audit through SRP you should use Green ID.

The Green ID team did a good job for me. I chose them as a listed contractor used by APS for Home Energy Assessments. I purchased my home a year ago and did not know much about the history of the house. I hoped the audit would point out areas where I could make improvements.<br><br>The overall audit did not come up with a huge annual savings for me, but the work done did greatly improve the comfort of the house. Besides additional insulation and sealing the duct work, they installed a radiant barrier along the roof slope and along the walls. Green ID also balanced the airflow in my home making the rooms that were warmer much more comfortable.<br><br>The Green ID crew were very polite and I hardly knew they were there. They cleaned up their mess each day (a two day job) and did a good job of sweeping up debris from their work. The crew was very good in trying to not inconvenience me.<br><br>My only "complaint' is I was told by the salesperson that the crew would be there at 6:30 a.m. to get an early start on the job before it gets too hot. The person who called to remind me of the appointment gave me a different time. I told her what I was told originally. Bottom line is I got up hours earlier in order to be ready for them when they did show up, which turned out to be 9:00 a.m.

Work was done to add insulation to attic, with concentration on void spots causing heating/cooling leakage, including a skylight which was not insulated in the attic. Also a heating duct was added to the laundry/extra bedroom to replace poorly performing heating/cooling to that room. Attic ducts and inside vents were also resealed. Installation was done in one day as scheduled. The cost was reasonable with an estimated less than 10 year payback.<br>The estimator and job manager were very friendly and personable and explained in detail the problems we had and the work to be done. Overall, we are very satisfied with the work and the results to date.

I would recommend that you have Green ID check your home and make all necessary improvements to prevent further wast of your money in high power bills. They are super thorough in details and repairs that will improve your homes efficiency. In the beginning it sound like a lot, but it will pay for itself in the end. It all happens in a day. I would really tell you that if at all get your AC system sealed. That's 80% of people's problem.

Excellent experience overall. They did our energy audit about a week ago. We have been having very high electricity bills and needed to find out how to resolve the issue. Mike was our auditor. He was very thorough and found some significant issues with our home that our home inspector missed. I wish I would have found these guys sooner. David reviewed the findings with us and we made arrangements to have them fix these issues. We are redesigning our duct system in three of our hot rooms and doing a variety of other things to improve the efficiency of our home. The prices were competitive, we were able to receive a rebate through SRP, and are really looking forward to getting this done. Thank you so much!

After we had audit on our energy usage we had ducting sealed, and insulation in attic and between walls. Green ID's crew was outstanding!! Prompt, polite, and continued working the whole day. They cleaned up when done. We can't wait to see the results from our Electric bill. We feel the results in the house already. We recommend them to all.

I recommend Green ID if you ever need a home energy audit or any energy upgrades. They recently completed an audit of my 60+ year old home, which had significant room for improvement. Within a couple weeks, their team upgraded my attic insulation, duct sealing, and air sealing. I found their proposal very competitive and they are reasonable on pricing. David, the owner, was very accountable and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that came up. He even came out on a Saturday in order to address an issue that came up after initial work was completed the day before, and fixed the issue on his own. His team even came back up to re-blow the insulation after he had stepped through the attic, triple check everything, and add finishing touches. It is inevitable that issues may come up any time house work is being done, but what is important is how the company resolves them. I had a great experience with this company. I found out about it at a home show. My house is about 19 years old and had some issues, especially in keeping the upstairs cool in the summer. As an engineer, what I liked about this company was that they came out, took measurements and pictures, and discussed the results with me in detail. After visiting my house, there was a follow-up visit with recommended improvements. Again, I discussed this with the sales rep in detail. There was no hard selling involved. In fact, I did not go with the full set of recommendations, just the set of items that I thought I would get the most benefit from.<br><br>Additionally, the fact that APS covers some of the cost via rebates, was helpful in my situation. The company sent out a crew of 4 people that were able to get the work done in one long day. Immediately the following week, my house felt much more uniform in terms of the temperatures. It was also much quieter as well as the AC did not kick on with nearly the frequency it had the week before.<br><br>The air conditioners are more quiet when running as well. I am not sure if this is due to more insulation assisting with the noise, or if the improvements to the intake of the units that I made allowed them to breath easier. Both of my units, the upstairs and down, had issues that were causing them to pull in quite a bit of intake directly from my attic (not good). I am looking forward to my first summer in 19 years where I have a good shot at having a home cooling system that will operate as designed.<br><br>This service is valuable as most builders really just build to the minimum code requires rather than having an interest in what your electric bill is 6 months after you move in. I would gladly do this in any future home, not only for the savings, but for the comfort factor as well.

After talking with APS, I had Green ID come out and do a energy audit along with an in depth review and recap a week later. It was quite compelling to actually see in inefficiencies in my home.<br>I had them do a complete duct sealing which involves a lot more than I ever thought. They also added a supply and jump duct to one of the rooms that never cooled well. After completion, Green ID mgmt. came out to inspect all work performed. I'm convinced that my residence is much more energy efficient now along with obviously less "dust" in the home.<br>The entire staff was extremely thorough, polite, and clean. These people really know what their doing. I would highly recommend David and his entire team.
