Took the time and made sure the vacuuming of our prior blown-in in the attic was cleaned out and then did a great job of coating our attic roof with Open cell, About 4 to 5 inches deep all around.Fast and a good communicator.

The air conditioning in my office upstairs was running constantly, and still it was uncomfortably warm. So I did my research on spray foam insultation and nearby companies. I contracted with Koala Insulation of South Atlanta, and I couldn't be more happy with the results. It was 140 degrees in my attic when they started and after they finished, it felt like a warm summer day in the attic. I could tell the difference almost immediately, and now, it's a comfortable 78 in my office. I look forward to a significantly lower power bill. Austin and his team did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them.

I used Austin because he was a friend of a friend. I have a 30 x 60 metal building that I wanted closed cell foam on walls & ceiling. I got put off a couple of times, no big deal. The problem began when he removed all the plastic & there was a section about a foot wide & 6 feet high that was missed completely. I tried to get him back out here at least a half a dozen times, but all I got was excuses. That was months ago, so I gave up on getting him back out to finish the job. Now that I've been having to drill some hole in the side to run conduit, I've found that there are alot of places that probably don't even have a half inch of foam. The last complaint I have is that I noticed the bottom half of the building was sprayed on one day & the rest another day. The bottom half is a lighter color & you can stick your finger through it, but the top half & ceiling is darker & hard as a rock. So I'm thinking he didn't have the ratio set right when spraying because its a 2 part chemical or it was not closed cell foam. I would not recommend this company.

They did it in 2 days for the price they quoted and cleaned up really well when they were done! Couldn’t be happier.

I would recommend Koala Of Southside Atlanta for anyones insulation or sprayfoam needs. Austins team did a great job. We reach reached out and left a message, one of there represenatives called back within the hour and was able to come out the same day to review our options. We chose to go with the spray foam. They showed up on the day we agreed on and they began removing the insulation and the next day began spraying the foam. Upon completion they cleaned up the areas they sprayed of the debre and did a final inspection of the work. I measured in several areas in the attic even the hard to get to places and the foam was at least 5 and a half inches thick. Was real pleased with the final product and there customer service. I would recommend them for any insulation needs.

Highly recommend these guys. You call, they visit, tell you what you want to know and then get it done all in a very timely fashion. If your upstairs is hot call these guys first and get your insulation checked out - I did and now my upstairs is cooler than my downstairs…thanks Koala!! I needed a converted garage-apartment's wall fully insulated but was worried about having to rip all the walls out. With the guys at Koala that wasn't necessary. Austin explained exactly what they were going to do and they got the job done in one day. We had some scheduling conflicts but the job got done and was reasonably priced Will definitely be using them in the future for my crawlspace needs. They were able to recommend some other companies that could patch & paint the holes. They did an estimate & was a good price but could never get them to show up to do the drywall. I would suggest finding your company to do drywall repair if necessary for your project.

Austin was very prompt at responding to texts and was able to give an estimate and schedule quicker than anyone else while also beating their quotes. Blew in more fiberglass insulation than needed to and followed special requests to cover duct work and make sure soffits weren’t blocked. Great service and priced right

Koala Insulation did our basement. They did a great job and were professional. I appreciate the communication and patience with our project as plumbers and inspections fell behind schedule. Koala insulation, however, showed up when promised and finished as promised. They did a great job in the application of foam. We had a multitude of wires in the ceiling, mini-split air conditioning on the wall, and they were careful to cover it all. They cleaned up after the job and finished in a timely manner. I'd be happy to use them again.

Koala was the first company I called and I didn't know much about how spray foam worked. Austin was very helpful in explaining the concept and spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me. He event gave me a rough estimate over the phone. After calling a couple of other companies who never responded I had him come out to see the house in person in order to confirm his quote and make sure all the attics were accessible and spray foam would work. After seeing the house he confirmed the quote and we eventually scheduled a date. Before the installation day I asked him for a written estimate/contract. We boarded our dogs and I had my wife and son stay in a hotel for the 2 installation days. First day (removal) the guys showed up about an hour late. They worked hard all day but still weren't quite finished when I had to leave for the day. They said they would come back the next morning to finish in time for the installation. But then they also wanted to leave a giant bag of insulation in my garage for several days until they could get around to it. Said they had to get to their next job. Told them no, they needed to take it. Have to finish 1 job before you can move on. A little late the next day but they showed up and finished the removal. Now I will say, I have high expectations for any work done to my house. The removals guys were nice and cleaned up after themselves but some of the work in the attic could have been a little better. Left some of the removed items. Installer showed up and i showed him everything and he got started. Estimate said the insulation would be 5.5" thick (nominal average) on the ceiling and 3.5" on the walls. This made complete sense as that is the depth of the bays created by the 2x6 and 2x4 lumber so my expectation based on that and other installations I had looked at online were that the bays would be filled with the variation coming in to play on the expansion of the foam. The R value of this foam is 3.8 / inch. When he was done and went and looked and found that the coverage was no where near filling the bays. Generally it was about 2.5-3.5 inches over about 95% of the ceiling and in very few areas was it even close to 5.5. I brought this to the installers attention and asked if it was done expanding. He said yes and when I showed him what I was talking about, he said he had been doing it for 13 years and this was how he always did it. He had me talk to the owner (Austin who did the estimate). He kept telling me it was nominal average and because they did 8-10 inches at the soffits it made up for it. That's not the way averages work and it's not the way insulation works. We went back and forth and I told him i simply wasn't happy and it needed to be fixed to match the contract. Paid most of the cost, but held back 20% until it was done. They came out this week and the installer was still telling me it was thicker than i thought. Said I should stick a ruler in there to see. Well, I happened to have a 6" steel ruler handy (because I had already done that) and proceeded to show him the 1-3 inch measurements. He resprayed a second coat over the entire are and it ended up being the way it should have been in the beginning. Ran out of text...Will try and add another review with the rest

We chose this contractor after seeing many good reviews. Our experience was different, however. They left a mess! We understand this process is very messy. A cleanup was done but we found trash and chunks of insulation pushed into the ceiling joist spaces, bits of insulation tracked through the house and nails, nozzle tips and more pieces of insulation in the driveway. When someone came back the next day to spray some missed places, he did not cover anything so there is a fine layer of overspray on the kids toys, electronics, tools, etc we have stored in our attic. Also, they damaged our driveway and culvert. When we confronted them about these issues, we received an apology but no other offer to fix or replace anything.

I called to have old attic insulation removed and new insulation blown in to replace it. Austin the owner gave me a competitive price and was prompt responding to me. His crew was very courteous and respectful while doing the work. They did everything asked of them. They arrived on time and did the job professionally. They also went out of their way to make sure everything was clean. I would highly recommend this company.

Austin was great from the estimate to finishing up the job. We've been having issues with moisture in the upstairs closets mostly due to a lack of insulation in the attic. I had some quotes from other contractors and Austin's price was right with the other guys. He was able to come out the next day to start the project. Both guys were very knowledgeable and answered all of my million questions. They were respectful of my home and did a thorough cleaning after they finished spray foaming. I would highly recommend these guys!

These guys are awesome and a breath of fresh air. Installers usually mean hassle. Not this crew. Austin knew his stuff and was very professional. He went further on details and recommendations based on my specific needs than any others we checked into. They did run into some equipment problems, but got past them very quickly always keeping me updated and doing exactly what they said they would do on time. Our electricity usage has definitely been far lower and the job looks clean as well as effective. We have quite an extensive attic and there was one accident that caused a minor crack in the ceiling. However, I got no flack about it whatsoever like some installers. He got it fixed right away without fuss and I truly can’t tell where it even was. I Absolutely recommend them. Use anyone else at your own risk.

Austin and Jamie did a fantastic job! They were reasonably priced, and did as promised! They were in and out in no time, and completely filled the attic with much needed insulation. It's been in the 90's here, and the lowest temp. we were able to reach with our virtually new A/C system, was around 80. The very next day, we were able to not only get it to 70, but were able to keep it there! At this rate, we should be able to recover the cost of the insulation in 2 to 3 years! A wise investment! I hired them to install under floor insulation and the outcome was well worth it! Our wood floors are much quieter, and the floor is not cold in the winter. Before insulation, when it was in the 30s outside and we had the heat on 68, the floor would measure around 52-56 degrees. After insulation, now the floor temperature matches the room temperature. I expected the insulation to help, but not this much!! Professional, competitive pricing, quality workmanship and on time!!
