Mike Marsh inspected both the home I was selling and the one I was buying, and he did an excellent job in both cases. He pointed out issues that would have been very difficult for a non-inspector to catch. He was also flexible and willing to reschedule when the home wasn’t ready on the originally planned day. Great service—well worth the money.

My pest inspection was early on Wednesday morning. It took until Friday afternoon to receive the invoice, which I paid immediately. It is now Friday 6pm and I still do not have a report and their office is closed so I assume I will be waiting until Monday. Communication regarding timing is terrible and it doesn’t take this long to email a link for a report that is completed and paid for. Completely unacceptable. I feel like I have fallen through the cracks.

This review is specifically in regards to Inspector Tim. Termite inspection and extermination is overwhelming, to say the least. I contacted at least three different Pest companies for a quote. Being that I am a landlord, efficient and quick responses are often appreciated. Tim was very thorough with his inspection and treatment recommendations. He took the time to answer my questions and concerns. He went out of his way to contact the local subcontractor/Fumigator because he knew I would be traveling within the next few days and needed to make a final decision. The Fumigator literally showed up the same afternoon! I waited over at least 5 business days to hear back from the other two companies and their subcontractor, often initiating the calls. However, with Tim, I never had to put in extra work. He is quick with text communication and makes himself available, even during early and late hours, to ensure a smooth process. He returned to the property and made sure my tenants understood the process of Fumigation and provided them with bags to keep their things safe. One company said I would have to directly communicate and coordinate with the Fumigator- which I found odd since I am the paying customer and paying the Pest company a fee for ??? It was very obvious from start to end that Tim genuinely cares about the customer and is an expert at what he does. Thank you, Tim, for all that you did. You are the reason why I chose Good Life Inspections.

Good Life was responsible for the pest inspection that we relied on before purchasing our home in Grass Valley. Recently, we had a local company indicate that we had drywood termites and needed to fumigate. One of their general managers, Justin, came out and did another inspection for free and told us there still is no evidence. He went above and beyond organizing a meetup with the other company to discuss their findings. They concluded our house did not need to be fumigated, brought foot coverings for him and the other inspector. Class act. Trustworthy. Saved us lots and lots of money. THANK YOU JUSTIN!

Notice this is a 5-star review. I'M pretty frustrated cause the buyers of my house went with Good Life this week and they inspected and found things I did not think to check prior to putting the house up for sale. The inspection was very through and although some of the things they called out was mostly a technicality (Water Heater being 17 years old but in perfect working order), my buyers backed out cause of the number of things they mentioned (They didn't ask about a repair or credit for repair). Overall, they did a great job, and the report is very easy to follow. I'm already about 25% through repairing the things they found. When I get into contract on my new home, I will be calling them to conduct the inspection on it. They earned my business (They better be just as through for me as they were against me lol)

Pete Monge was at our home yesterday (showed up EARLY! LOVE IT) and performed a diagnosis of an issue inside the house. I was very impressed about how thorough Pete was in performing "process of elimination" inspection...Pete was very friendly, informative, and...he put up with my watching and learning from him as he performed his analysis. As always, I can count on Goodlife to bring in the professionals!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR INSPECTIONS. We hired Goodlife for home and pest inspections for our very first home based on their glowing reviews. Scheduling was easy and communication was easy. Our inspections were completed on a Friday and we met with the home inspector once he finished. We did arrive 15 mins after they were done due to traffic so we were unable to meet with the pest inspector in person and he did not leave us a card to contact him. We received our home inspection report Monday night and it was perfect. Very detailed and complete. Nothing but a great experience on the home inspection part. However, the pest inspection is a different story. I called the company on Tuesday to check in on the status of the report and when we would expect it. There were some obvious red flags on the home inspection so our agent wanted to submit a request for repairs to the seller ASAP to stay within our contingency timeline. The company stated that they have a 48-hour business hours turnaround for reports but that they would reach out to the inspector and hopefully get it to me sooner rather than later. The customer service agent mentioned that it was a larger report so it was taking longer. I was kind, patient, and thankful. I did not get the report that day. I called back Wednesday morning and I was told that the report showed written but it was not proofed/finalized. They also said they spoke to the inspector and that he worked on it through the night and would be prioritizing it today. I was kind, patient, and thankful for the update. I called back Wednesday at 4pm since the business closes at 5pm. I was then told the inspector was experiencing some technical difficulties and that is why it was delayed. The customer service agent gave me Matt, our pest inspector's name and number to contact directly. They said they would also contact him again and that I would have a follow-up from them before 5pm. I never received a call back before 5pm. I also called the inspector's number and my call was ignored (rang twice then went to voicemail). My real estate agent also sent them an email. It is now Thursday with no report and I had to call the business again to figure out when I am going to receive it. I called and asked to speak to management. The manager was unavailable due to a meeting and I was told they'd contact me after 10am. I will happily update this review once I receive a resolution. I was very excited to work with Goodlife on this already scary and stressful process of purchasing our first home and now I am deeply frustrated at my current situation. It has been a day shy of a week since my inspections were completed and all I have received is excuses and poor communication. I will not be recommending this company for anything and my agent will recommend all future/current clients to avoid them at all costs.

We decided to Hire a private Inspector for our New construction home before our 1 year warranty runs out. After many companies to choose from we went with Good Life Inspections. They did not disappoint from the very beginning of booking an inspector to come out to the time we received our detailed report. Inspector Alfredo Tellez was our inspector he showed up on time, with a 30 min before arrival text message of his ETA , which is very rare lately. After completing his inspection we were informed that we will have our inspection report the next business day which would be a Monday. Inspection was on Friday. By Sunday afternoon a very detailed inspection report was in my inbox already. Very satisfied customer,highly recommend them . And will go with Good Life for any other house/ construction needs in the future.

The service the tech provided today was impeccable! Well spoken, courteous, informative, and kind. Sadly I forget his name, but I'll never forget his face or smile!! Sadly I give 4 stars due to the lack of communication, leading me to emptying cupboards, drawers, and under sinks while the tech waited patiently, telling me to take my time. This gentleman deserves to be promoted at best, or a raise at least. Would definitely recommend Good Life, their techs put you at ease, and never make things uncomfortable. I was not expecting the level of detail and attention to safety that was provided. My home inspection was completed by Misha Markov and was worth every single penny! Every inch of the home was surveyed with highly trained eyes. Photos were taken to provide accurate documentation of all the areas of concern. Following the inspection, Misha was available to provide a real-time review of his findings and answer my questions. The finalized report is so well formatted with descriptions of all issues and the corresponding photos/videos. The home buying experience can be very stressful; Misha provided me with peace of mind. “Life is good” when you know that you’ve had a very thorough inspection by a company that has your best interests in mind. Wow, what a great experience with these guys! James came on a rainy Saturday to complete a home inspection for a short closing on a new home purchase! These guys were just great. They did the most thorough inspection I’ve ever seen, complete with a 45 page detailed report, including pictures! They took the time to answer my questions, explain issues using understandable language, and never once did I feel like my questions were dumb or uneducated in this field. They were respectful to the house structure itself, making sure to wear shoe covers and keeping everything clean, they were respectful to me, and their overall demeanor was genuine and kind. Would I recommend them? Absolutely. Would I use them again? 💯 Would I consider using anyone else? Nope.

Good Life Inspections offers both Termite Inspection and home home inspections. Customer service is always 10/10. Inspectors are seasoned guys with tons of experience. I enjoy working with them every time.

After using this company on 3 different homes in the last year I will never use them again. I had them doing about 5000.00 worth of work on a house that I purchased in Rocklin and I had some concerns, Bill the project manager was supposed to meet me at the home at 8.30 am along with his crew. I told Bill that I had about an hour drive, I was at the home all day performing some light projects but I never heard from Bill, his crew performed all the work. I called the office several times and when Bill finally returned my call a few days later he admitted that he was called to a larger more important job and he did not have the decency to call and tell me that he was not showing up. Bill claims that he was at the house later in the day, however he did not call me or bother to ring the doorbell. One of the projects at the house was installing a new door and I explained to Bill that the deadbolt could not be used because it was misaligned, after apologizing to me for not calling he assured me he would schedule someone to come out and adjust the door, 1 month later and I have never heard from them. I fixed it myself. They also sublet my Roof work to a roofing company without telling me which I also had issues with. This company clearly does not treat customers very well and only cares about the larger jobs. I have relayed my concerns to my realtor.

This is an excellent home inspection business. The inspector was professional, friendly and very helpful in explaining the results of the inspection. The associated report was detailed and included clear photos to document the inspection results. Administrative staff were also professional, friendly, helpful and responsive. The company supports bundling of home and pest inspections which is convenient and also saves you money. I highly recommend this company.

His attention to detail was unmatched to anyone I have seen. From the stove being set up incorrectly to the leak found in the roof (that TWO inspectors seemed to have missed) you can really see that Daniel takes his time and analyzes everything very carefully. Don Ramsbottom is very professional and completes his work quickly and doesn’t leave out any details. The report comes back the very next day which is so helpful since deadlines are everything when working in the real estate space. If I ever need a home inspection I call North American Home Services and request him every time. Keep up the good work here guys and those of you who haven’t ordered through this company I strongly encourage it.

This review is of Mr. Ray Swanson. He conducted a home inspection on our current home before we decided to purchase it. The report he provided was so thorough and written in a way that we were able to understand without needing to have any background in construction or a home repair. The report also included photos which was super helpful. James Lazano is our all time favorite home inspector. He is so professional and knowledgeable. He lets our clients know what he finds but keeps them calm at the same time. We recommend him to ALL of our clients. When I bought my home he inspected it. As a realtor, it says a lot about who we would use for our own home. For Pest inspections- Roman is our go to man. We met him about 3 years ago and have used him ever since. He is a very thorough and friendly professional. He inspected one of the homes we sold with the most issues. He suggested further inspection (which we did) and it helped our clients know what they were getting into- and gave us what we needed to negotiate repairs for our client to afford to fix them. They are good. They come about the same time every week to spray. The tech is great. He answered all of my questions. He is knowledgeable with his line of work. Explained everything in detail. He is also very nice and reassuring. The only complaint is that I called the office and requested a call before the tech was on their way and i received a text message the first time and that was it. I would have preferred before every appointment but like i said he comes generally about the same time every week so it wasnt a real big deal. They are a great company. I would recommend them. I didnt get the techs name unfortunately.

Kevin did a great job. He was detailed in his assessment and was able to walk me through all of my questions. He even took extra time to show me some important features of our new house, such as where the water main cutout was as well as pointing out sewer accesses. I was hesitant to use a company that I did not find myself, but am very happy that I did.

Don came out to see our issues and was very professional and thoroughly explained what he saw and why he suggested what he was recommending. Ivan came out to do the work and when he finished he showed me what he did. I mentioned that Don had also suggested some work in areas that he (Ivan) didn't do --because the treatment is meant for closer to the wall and with appliances it would have been further out. But when I mentioned this to Ivan, without hesitation he got his equipment back out and did that too. Staff was also great when I needed to call in. Very friendly and responded quickly.

They answered the phone promptly, and Yvonne walked me through the process of the service that I was requesting.
