Ben was awesome. Thorough with his inspection, did his due diligence on our squirrel problem, and gave us peace of mind.

I had a great experience with Trapper Jack. They have been great at communicating from the start. We moved into a house that had a previous infestation problem that needed to be cleaned. Ben came out and gave me a quote for all his recommendations for our new home, including the cleaning. He was super accommodating and understanding of our financial situation. We had the cleaning completed by Johnell, who was also very kind and worked quickly, even though it was an extensive task. We will definitely use Trapper Jack in the future!

Trapper Jack was suggested to me by a good friend who had used them successfully several times. I had been dealing with a pretty severe rodent problem in my home and in spite of working with a pest control company was not having success. I met with Drew and he immediately came up with suggestions and solutions and we quickly begin making positive progress. I have since worked with other members of the company and I’m so pleased with their knowledge ,their friendliness and their dedication to helping me resolve what has been a pretty stressful situation . their prices are very reasonable, especially given the tough nature of this line of work. We are seeing in the light at the end of the tunnel, and I will continue to use them once this problem is taken care of and use their guidance to help me going farther. They have been awesome and I have happily given their name to neighbors and friends.

Reached out to several companies to deal with a rat problem in our basement. Trapper Jack was very reasonable in cost and took the time to really understand the problem and make a game plan. Worked with Ben and John L and couldn’t be happier. They were kind, fast, and effective. Hopefully I don’t need to hire them again, but if I do I won’t hesitate to call.

David with Trapper Jack did a great job getting rid of the mice that moved into my house. I was very impressed with the steps he and his crew took to block the entry points that mice and other critters could use. I hope it’s not necessary, but if I need animal control in the future I will call Trapper Jack’s.

I cannot say enough good things about Trapper Jack and the work they did in my house. They trapped 2 raccoons and 1 possum. They cleaned out my attic and placed new insolation in there. The crew was efficient and Drew was just a phone call or text away.

Update: In response to owner's post that I've got the wrong company--Do you have a Scott O. working for you? I have his business card with your company's name on it. He's the one who sent John. Called for bird nest in vent. Told them if there were baby birds, to wait until nest was vacated. Tech (John) came out and put a metal screen over vent with living baby birds still in vent. Mama bird was frantically trying to get back in to feed her babies. Called John and he was very arrogant and basically told me I had no idea how to manage wildlife and my house would be full of germs and feather dust from birds. Had to call another company to remove vent until babies left nest. Very inhumane.

I make every attempt to handle things on my own but if you give up or are in a bind or have time restraints - this is who you call - they are personable, timely,, trustworthy and efficient. Sometimes you give nature every option to coexist and it just isn’t going to happen. They are coming back to help me ensure we can nature proof the home for the spring. Great company.

As someone who hires tons of home improvement and maintenance workers on a regular basis across my properties, it is incredible when you come across a company and specialist who take the issue as serious as you do. Trapper Dave was extremely attentive, had a problem-solving mentality and never gave up as he worked to rid our apartment attic of a racoon family. It was not an easy job, as our apartment attic isn't the easiest to access, but Dave kept at it and was communicative, honest and took the job seriously. I wish everyone I hired had the grit, transparency and honesty that Dave has! I'd hate to have to hire them again but if I come across a critter problem they will be the first phone call I make. HIGHLY recommend!

Two animal traps on Amazon would have cost me about 20% and done the same amount of work. Was told it was checked every other day but the roof got repaired after my rental company themselves confirmed nothing was up there- then after I told Trapper Jack the roof was repaired and cleared they came out on May 6 to double check the interior and make sure nothing died in there. Said to leave traps for a few more days unless something comes back. Now May 23 I’m still sitting looking at these raccoon traps in my yard and just wondering how many times anyone actually came to check and what service I paid for.

Scott was outstanding!!!!! Not only did he remove the nest of birds, but also handled with care so that baby birds and mama could reunite. He also not only just throw a cheep crate over the vent, but something much more robust plus a filter and like a flap cover...probably not using the right terminology there, but he was just so professional and efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. I love working with hometown local businesses like this where the price is extremely fair and the quality and service is outstanding. I would give 100 starts if google would let me. Highly recommend for birds and for sure if have future wildlife issues, I'm calling Scott back first, no questions asked.

Update: The owner reached out directly soon after the review was posted. He offered to refund the trapping fee and do the trapping as well. He was extremely professional and took the time to reach out on a non-business day. We hired Trapper Jack to deal with a squirrel problem. After paying for supposedly 10 days of trapping, the Trapper Jack employee never showed up again despite my consistent texts telling we could still clearly hear the squirrels. This company essentially stole $500 from us by failing to honor their contract. As you can in the photos the squirrels are now somehow inside our house. Only use this company if you want to have your money stolen and continue to have a pest problem.

David was great! He took care of my issue promptly and communication was consistent throughout the process. Got everything taken care of, even after a separate company refused to. Great service.

Paid over 1000 for squirrels to be removed from my attic with A 1 year warranty they came back a few months later I called them again they said the squirrels made new holes to enter so I would have to pay another 700 plus to get them removed again and the holes patched and i definitely don’t have that kind of money to be paying them Every few months so I’m a very unsatisfied customer, they may do well with other animals but they definitely don’t permanently get rid of squirrels

I have an older house and they have been very responsive with squirrel removal and mice removal/trapping. Very fair pricing and great customer service. 1000% recommend

Drew and Travis helped us with raccoon removal from our attic and yard around our home. Raccoons were stubborn and destructive but Trapper Jack was persistent. It took a few weeks to get them all so we got to know Drew & Travis pretty well. They were polite, respectful, on time and professional. Communication was great throughout the process of removal and restoration. We highly recommend them to be a reputable and professional company to deal with.

As for the overall quality of service 5 stars. As for the price. OUCH! According to Scott most other wildlife companies charge the same or more. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to diminish the risks involved with wildlife removal. There are disease risks, bugs, etc. However, it would be nice if the work was actually prorated in some way. It took total about 2hrs and cost $450. So $225/hr for removing a few birds????? One question. Where did this company or all other wildlife removal get their advanced degrees in neuroscience? Asking for a friend. In hindsight, I should have done it myself. And I would recommend that others do the same so long as the pricing remains exorbitant. (Addendum as a response to the owners reply) Nice attempt at deflecting the point I'm trying to make. I gave you a five-star review out of consideration and you responded by insinuating that perhaps I have a mental illness. A conciliatory attitude would've been better. But in fact, you would be right because I was absolutely insane in that moment to agree to such an outrageous price. I admit I agreed to it. But he was already there (I was not given an estimated price beforehand) and I thought maybe I shouldn't procrastinate this. No offense to Scott but I should have just paid for his gas and declined the service. But I see how this works. I'm not afraid of animals but some people are. And you know you can exploit that fear and make a killing. Psychoanalysis question. When grandma needs some pests removed and she's on a limited income do you feel empathy when you charge her excessively? If not, that could be a sign of being a sociopath. You need to remember, most people have to work much longer to make that much money. When I think of a fair price, I'm imagining $100/hr like a plumber or electrician. This pricing????? No definitely not reasonable. But you've gotta pay that lease in Green Hills don't you?

I contacted this company, the technician had excellent customer service, he guaranteed me he would trap the groundhog in my backyard, he told me to have patience and not to worry he would trap the animal. I believed him, as of today I still have the groundhog in my backyard, now Mr Trapper is not answering my text messages. I trusted his word, this was a new experience for me, I thought he was a man-of his word, I paid him over $400 dollars for nothing, just wanted the company to honor his word. Dissatisfied customer, I would look around for another trustworthy company.

Can’t say enough good things about Trapper Jack’s, specifically Scott. He has helped us out more times than I can count and is always responsive and professional. He does what he says he will do. He will continue to be my go to.

Trapper Jack was great! A neighbor recommended them to me and I recommend them as well! Dave replied to my contact request on their website right away on Sunday (which was crazy since it was Easter), inspected Monday, and came by today with Travis to fix it all up! Super friendly, efficient, and decent pricing. They have a love for the work and the animals, I know people are usually concerned about animal treatment but they take great care!

Trapper Jack is amazing! David was out here within 24 hours of me putting a request in. He was early from his predicted arrival time (which I love) and was very thorough on explaining the process. He is the best! I had a bird stuck in my exhaust vent. Gotta love spring time! I highly recommend Trapper Jack!

We had a great experience with Trapper Jack! We had a raccoon in our attic, possums under a porch, and groundhogs in our hillside. Scott trapped 4 possums, 1 raccoon, and 1 groundhog....and is still working with us to get the other groundhogs. Additionally, he did a great job with our attic restoration and sealing all of the entry points. Reasonably priced, communicative, and responsive.

We had birds playing in our dryer vent. Not ideal! Trapper Jack was east to schedule with, shot me a text when he was 30 minutes out and explained everything very thoroughly. I really appreciated the quick help and now peace of mind that the birds won't continue making it their playground!

Trapper Jack is by far the best wildlife removal service in Nashville!!! Drew provided incredible customer service! We had a dead raccoon in our yard and it was picked up and disposed of almost immediately after calling! Thank you Drew for taking great care of us!!! Mice ate through my cable connection in the basement. Because of recommendations on NextDoor, we called Trapper Jack for 1 of 4 bids. Their bid was the most competitive. We first used Trapper Jack at the beginning of the COVID Pandemic, and Drew worked with us closely. He was easy to work with, and especially careful during the Pandemic. Highly conscientious, and we were happy that he did the work in our house. He made everything easy. About 6 months after the initial work, which included cleanup and remediation, we found a mouse in a trap. Trapper Jack came out right away, did another inspection, and sealed the house. No evidence of any animals in more than a year. We recommend Trapper Jack to everyone. Make sure to ask for Drew.

We had a skunk problem; hopefully no more! The trapper who set the trap, Scott, was great about checking the traps and patient in waiting for the skunks to take the bait. Previously we used a different company and their contract was to remove the traps after 7 days whether skunks were caught or not. Trapper Jack caught the first skunk and then we had to wait for a couple of weeks for the second one, but I appreciate their patience. We knew that there were at least two because we have motion lights and saw two very distinct animals. Hopefully our yard will no longer be destroyed by the skunks for the rest of this year. I fully expect that we may need their services again, perhaps next spring.

These guys were great! We had birds in our fan output vent, and Shane came out and quickly andneatly got rid of the nests. No birds in there but lots of debris. Would recommend

I hired Trapper Jack to do an exclusion for mice after talking to other companies. Not only was their price better, but they offered more. Scott has been wonderful and has been educating me about the process every step of the way. I also felt that it was important that the person who did the estimate also did the work. Called 4 companies regarding a snake on the deck. One was too busy. One did not return my call. And one wanted $395 just to come out. Wish I had started with Trapper Jack. I received a call back immediately. He explained my options and made suggestions and was honest about the chances of catching an outdoor snake. Ultimately, I did not need them (snake is gone) but this is the only company I will call if needed again! Highly recommend.

Had a bird problem (for the past few years) nesting in the corner of out 2 story home. They came looked & gave a free estimate.. come back a couple of days later (as they said), removed "LOTS" of nesting straw, sprayed & repaired overhang of roof. All completed in aprox. 1 hr. Would highly recomend! (work crew were very friendly, polite, and cleaned up the straw that was removed) John S.

While having a new HVAC unit installed, a possum was discovered. When prodded with a piece of rebar to see if he was alive (he was), he tumbled into my crawl space. I left messages for 3 different wildlife removal companies. One never called back at all, & the second one wanted $400 up front with no guarantee that they would succeed. Trapper Jack's responded, & since my neighbor had recommended them, I made an appointment. Dave Nipper arrived, & absolutely dazzled with his professionalism, friendliness, common sense, & humanity about the animal in question. The latter in particular was a surprise & a relief. The possum issue was taken care of, entry points were sealed to prevent future issues, (another tech involved in this part, who was also top notch) & at my request, Dave checked my attic to verify that I didn't have any issues up there. I didn't, & appreciated his input on how to prevent future problems. During the whole appointment, he provided great service, informative & interesting conversation, & peace of mind. I would absolutely use this company again, & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Great company!

I highly recommend Dave Nipper with Trapper Jack Wildlife. We had a squirrel chewing up things in our attic, and Dave responded right away from another job with a recently-captured raccoon in the bed of his truck. After ensuring the squirrel was out of our house, Dave closed the entry point and gave us a solid recommendation for a long-term fix. He is professional, quick, responsive and very reasonably priced.

Dave at Trapper Jack came to my house to investigate a chipmunk issue I have in my yard. After he arrived and took a look he let me know that my routine pest maintenance would be a less expensive and more effective way to handle the problem. This spoke volumes to me about what an honest business they run! I will most definitely call them in the future if I ever have another problem.

I had this company remove a bird's nest from my roof and while the removal was fine, they damaged my roof, said nothing and left. I called and sent pictures and they said they had to screw into the roof to stabilize their ladder. Maybe true, but they should have discussed with me first. I was promised follow up from the owner 4 days ago and haven't heard back. I wouldn't let these guys near my house again. Update: In response to the owner's reply, he did indeed ask if there was anything they could do and I told him no, other than send a letter explaining the repair for future reference (as I can't see anything short of replacing the damaged roof tiles that wouldn't make it worse). Bottom line is that they should have asked before deciding to screw into the roof, period. His dismissive attitude in his response will give you all the sense of the business you need to know.

They provided quality service, and the workers were very nice. Had an issue with birds nesting in my attic and they were able to fix the problem within a couple hours.

I had racoons in my attic. I called Trapper Jack and Ben responded very quickly. He came out the next day, inspected the attic, and wrote up a quote. I turned it into my Insurance company and within a couple of days the quote was approved. Fortunately, the racoons left on their own the night before. So we didn't have to trap them. Ben came out that Friday and repaired the entry hole where they got in. And then again on Monday, to collect a deposit on the total work. Tuesday, he and Scott came back to treat the attic insulation with antimicrobial spray. Then they blew in the attic insulation to fill in where the racoons have trampled it down. Since we didn't have to trap the racoons, we were able to use those monies for additional attic insulation. Ben and Scott were very respectful and professional. I totally recommend Trapper Jack Wildlife Specialist for any of your wildlife intruders.

Ben was great. Told by another company we would have to cut out the ceiling for removal or animal would decay over time and smell would go away. Called Trapper Jack for second opinion and he worked from the outside and inside to remove nest and birds. Put cages up on all vents for us as well. Price was fair, showed up on time and was friendly.

Owner was pretty pushy trying to get me to change my review, tried to make me feel guilty because it 'hurt his perfect 5 star rating' and then left the reply below. I guess we know how he kept the 5 star rating for so long. I won't be changing my review score.

A cat was in the wheel well of my car. I did not see it when I got into my car & backed out. So naturally, I'm left with a huge problem. A dead animal INSIDE OF MY GARAGE! I needed it removed & COULD NOT do it myself. I called them & Greg, the owner, offered to help me FREE of charge. The technician, Scott, was prompt & super helpful. We were hearing noises around the chimney that occurred only at night. Called Trapper Jack and spoke with Drew who scheduled an appointment and arrived as promised. He assessed the situation and informed us we had bats. He explained what needed to be done to remove the bats and through every step he communicated to us what hew was doing, why we needed to do it and wanted to make sure we well understood each step. Drew checked back after a few days to be sure we had no remaining problems and he was a pleasure with whom to work. He went above and beyond expectations.
