LD showed up and diagnosed the issue almost immediately. We got the leak repaired and they applied several products to prevent mold and mildew. When he left, it was clean as if he was never there. Great job!

LD came out to inspect/remediate mold/mildew from window leaks in our home. We recently discovered a water leak that we quickly realized was bigger than what we could fix by ourselves. I called North Star at 8am and LD was at my house 3 hours later. I’ve been dealing with a mold problem in my home for a couple of years with no success. Other contractors, claiming to be experts in the field, charged for services that only made the problem worse. LD and Chad from North Star Services came to inspect and discovered what other “experts” had overlooked and were able to recommend a course of correction that made sense. Their team was first rate - drywall had to come out and treatment of the area needed to be made. The restoration work was perfect. Following repairs, they came in and performed a complete home fogging to remove any remaining residue of the mold and thoroughly cleaned all surfaces after that. North Star Services are professionals. They are responsible, capable and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to call on them for all my homeowner needs.

LD came out after our toilet backed up and flooded the bathroom. He tested for water damage and disinfected everything. He was informative and reassuring and we feel like we can safely use that bathroom again. Thank you, LD! 10/10/23 Update: The initial problem that prompted our builder to send out LD in May 2022 turned out to be a much bigger issue. LD has been coordinating the remediation effort while all the plumbing (under a concrete slab) has been replaced. I appreciate LD’s professionalism and attention to detail. He knows we have a family member with a respiratory illness and he goes above and beyond to make sure her health is protected.

LD & Drew came by and assessed the issue, no messing about, to the point very quickly, to enable moving forward with a solution.

North Star Services has been excellent to work with regarding our needs for both water/mold removal and ozone treatment. Specifically, LD and Drew were both very professional, courteous, responsive, kind, and friendly, while also being incredibly knowledgable. They were able to remove all water damage from our home, and their ozone treatment worked amazingly well. I can't recommend these guys enough. They 100% deserve 5 stars.

My husband and I were days away from finalizing the sale of our condo unit when we found some water spots on the ceiling and wall. Our HOA called in North Star, who knew about our closing date and who was in just as much of a rush to get it done (and done well) as we were. Chris sent out LD the next day. Both of them were incredible with communicating with me, and LD made sure to keep me updated at every step so that I, my realtor, and the buyer knew exactly where things stood. They went above and beyond in making sure that the people in charge of each step of the repair came in as soon as humanly possible. LD was also extremely on top of checking in on the condo and making sure things were done right. The only tiny complaint that I have is that the paint color on the ceiling is a tiiiny bit off, but that also was the paint that we had on-hand based on the HOA documentation. Beyond that, the repair was done fast and very well. There is no more water and it looks as if there was never a leak or hole in the ceiling. North Star was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them!

Treated mold in the crawl space and attic and also replaced the vapor barrier in the crawl space. Chris, Chad, and LD were each professional and communicative. They even helped out with my dryer vent pipe that was not correctly hooked up unbeknownst to me, and they even repaired my janky crawl space door.

My sister experienced some flooding in her home and the team at North Star Services, LLC came to the rescue. They were professional, prompt and thoroughly explained the entire drying process. They found what caused the flooding and took action to correct it. As flooding goes, they made the experience bearable and even provided information to assist with the insurance. Chris was very prompt to come out and look at my property and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done with our sun room that had mold and water intrusion. He was true to his word about getting his team out to start the work in a very timely manner and followed up with me regularly on the work in process at my house. I had the pleasure of hiring Chris and LD from North Star to inspect my crawlspace and redo the DYI job that the previous owner did, which was a real mess. They used mold preventer and resealed everything with a new vapor barrier. It looks great and is providing obviously better moisture protection. Very knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced and I felt like they genuinely care about their customers.
