I found Insulation Commandos on Thumbtack and Tyler came out the next day to quote the job. While at the house, he explained a few options to me and ultimately we decided to go with R44 in our attic to be a little more energy efficient. The quote was fair, and on top of that, Insulation Commandos is a TVA Certified Contractor, meaning at the time of this review, TVA provides a rebate of $500 on insulation and $300 on air sealing. Harrison was the technician assigned to us, and he got the job done in two days, not once complaining about the heat or the state of our attic (1960s ranch). If I buy another house, I won't hesitate to use Insulation Commandos again. If all businesses were run this way, the world would be a better place.

Tyler came to my house and was very honest with his estimate and evaluation of my attic. He didn’t try to oversell. It was honest and prices were reasonable. They were very quick. Our homeis 97 years old. The insulation in our attic was from the 50's. We researched several companies, Insulation Commando's stood out. I called Tyler, he was kind and knowledgeable. He was at our home later that same day. Inspected our attic, he let us know that we only had 1" of rock wool. He gave us a choice of blown or fiberglass insulation, I wanted Fiberglass and he had a quote for me within an 45 minutes. It was so resonable that we were beyond happy! The very next day, Harrison and Bobby were here. They were both hard working, respectful of us and our home! Setting to work immdieatly, they had to vacuum our whole attic to remove the old, dirty, dusty insulation. That was no easy task but they did it and our whole home smelled cleaner at once. They to put R38 insulation throughout, we only have one small opening to our attic which made getting the insulation up there and in place a harder task, they did it and it looks wonderful. We have had a exceptionally first rate experince and would highly recommend Insulation Commando's for all insulation needs.

To be plain: Tyler the owner operator of the nashville location is honest and concerned about customers over investing on repairs/improvements. After much research we know what things we wanted to consider but not the exact order. Tyler helped with that while encouraging doing improvement in steps to head off over kill. The rate offered is also the lowest in the area. So if your shopping on value or integrity this may be the contractor for you......or you can pay more fore less.
