I highly recommend Breathe Easy Mold Remediation. Read on! Imagine how frustrating life would be, if you were unable to get a breath of fresh, clean air in your home...FOR MONTHS! In mid summer of 2025, I began sneezing a lot in the house, and smelling a musty odor that got increasingly worse. Following my nose, I discovered patches of mold around more than half the steps in our staircase. That discovery led me to go check out our crawlspace, which revealed a major moisture issue. Because of the higher than average humidity, most of the insulation on our ductwork was soaked with water. There was ponding under long sections of the ductwork, and water would pour out when you pushed against it. So, we had the duct work replaced. Further inspection revealed more mold, and other bothersome organic stuff, growing in the crawlspace, around the underside of most of the vents, around the staircase, in and around the stove hood, around most of our door facings, and in the upstairs ductwork. All the result of a perfect storm of a highly humid summer, and a malfunctioning HVAC system. But wait...there's more! After three different mold companies came out to inspect, we decided to do a crawlspace encapsulation. (We didn't want a repeat of this next summer). Because of their professionalism, quick responses, and willingness to answer any and all questions at length, we decided to go with Breathe Easy. Their personal approach made us feel at ease about such a big decision. That particular job was very professionally done, and either Corey or Victor came back and quickly resolved any minor follow up issues that I discovered. The encapsulation took care of most of our problems...but there were still some funky smells. I'm a "follow your nose" kind of guy. They came out and closely inspected all the areas I suspected. The ones that turned out to contain mold, or other organic stuff, were rapidly taken care of, including cleaning out our upstairs ductwork. Long story short...after a frustrating summer of tracking down the sources for the funky smells in our house...we are now breathing cleaner indoor air than we've had in a long time. Throughout all of this process, Corey and Victor were very good about answering questions, and quickly responding any time I reached out. Their customer service is excellent! Long story short...if you've got any air quality issues in your house...call Breathe Easy Mold Remediation. You'll be glad you did!

Breathe Easy handled the significant mold build up in the basement garage and crawlspace that accumulated for many years prior to by purchasing of the home. The remediation in the crawlspace and garage ceiling/floor joists made everything look new. The vapor barrier looks great as well.

Breathe Easy did remediation for mold in our home. They did a great job and made sure everything was completed as promised. Cory and Victor were literal life savers for us. We kept having illness in our home and don’t know why. We were getting eye irritation, skin irritation, anxiety, amongst other things. It has all ceased and I know it was do to fixing our mold issue. I had Breathe Easy come out to inspect my daughter’s shower, which had developed a strong musty smell. They spent a solid 45 minutes carefully investigating the area using their mold detection tools and moisture meters. I was really impressed by how thorough and professional they were. In the end, it wasn’t a mold issue or hidden leak - just excess water getting on the outside shower wall during use. I appreciated their honesty and how they took the time to explain everything clearly, without trying to upsell or create fear. It’s rare to find companies that are this ethical and detailed. Seemed to do a great job encapsulating our crawl space roughly three years ago but has been unresponsive to texts, phone calls and emails since then. We would like them to come out and do the yearly inspection but Victor won’t respond, which seems very odd.

Viktor and his colleague came to our house (on time) and were really helpful with educating us and advising us on the mold issue we were experiencing. I would highly recommend his company. I was able to schedule with Viktor by calling him directly and we scheduled an appointment for two days later. After reviewing the bathroom ceiling where we were experiencing surface-level mold, he identified the issue was with our ceiling fan (via thermal camera) and even went up into our attic (which is not easy) to further investigate. He took photos for me and discovered a broken air duct vent along with a tennis ball size hole to the outside of our house - this is the culprit brewing the mold. He respectfully advised that we do not need his services (due to the mold not being that bad, and the broken air duct being the main issue) and gave me specific instructions on how to eliminate the mold, repaint the area etc. I really appreciated that he was able to give me specific products. He used to be a contractor and home inspector and owned an AC business, so he certainly is a wealth of knowledge. We paid $125 for his consultation and I thought that was more than fair.

I called Breath Easy about mold in the basement and they came over, explained what it was (not mold), told me how to treat inside and then the outside. Suggested ways to prevent further damage. Concise, informative, and friendly. I was charged a cent.

What honesty and integrity!! Breathe Easy Mold did a fantastic job. The first company that I called could not even find the mold that was making me sick. Victor, owner of Breathe Easy Mold found the problem in a matter of minutes. He fully explained to me what needed to be done to make my home and air safe. He was so informative and genuine! It was obvious to me how much he really cared. My kitchen cabinets had to be taken out to clean the mold on the wall behind. In the process, Breathe Easy Mold found that my galvanized pipes were so clogged that it’s a wonder that water was even coming through! They called me immediately. I am ever so grateful. They could have just continued the job and not said a word. I cannot say enough good about this company and the high quality work that they perform. If you need mold remediation this is the company to call! They not only got rid of the mold but cleaned thoroughly.

What integrity! I have never appreciated a company more. Our house was tough and I was not excited about handing over so much money to take care of the problems-- because I just took a shot after someone else gave us a 30 second assessment and an exorbitant price and another company would only come out for a fee and not enough of a guarantee. Victor, the owner, was at the house for 20 to 30 minutes and answered a lot of questions before landing on the price and was the only one who looked at the source of the problem. When Derrick and his team arrived they were just so genuine. They asked questions and answered questions. We have an old house and found that it was probably even older than originally thought(apparently a fire obscured the records at some point). The mold was taken care of immediately and thoroughly and looks amazing. No more scary crawlspace! The bathroom was the surprise part and made the job exceptionally difficult. Derrick just dealt with it. Through it all I was consistently impressed with Derrick's knowledge, his humility, sense of humor and attitude. His entire team was unfailingly polite and hard-working. Great experience. If you have to have this done, this is a great company to go with!

An absolute waste of time. Did nothing he said he was going to do. All he did was test the air and said it was not toxic but could NOT confirm that it was safe to be down in our basement. The first time they tested the air or attempted testing it, their machine would not work. They then had to order another one and then could not come back until the following week. We went with another company. They immediately located the problem. Found the problem behind the wall in a closet. An old pipe that was the issue. I would not recommend them whatsoever!!
