USA Insulation of Minneapolis did our attic and basement about a month ago and they did a great job. We removed the old fiberglass and sheetrock in two of our spaces and they hauled everything out and they did the main attic space with new blow in insulation. They also did spray insulation in two spaces and around the top space of our entire basement.

Harley and Andrew did a great job of insulation our attic. They arrived on time, reviewed the work to be done, did the door-blower test before and after, sealed everything that could be sealed, improved air flow in the attic, blew in 3m insulation including batting and spray on the angled vaulted section, reviewed everything with us afterwards including pictures they took. They both worked efficiently, were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. And cleaned up afterwards. Thank you guys.

On time, explained everything that was going to take place, answered questions, took every precaution to protect my homes flooring, walls, ect, fabulous job on patching and clean up. Luke was great with the quote and all workers were so respectful. I believe it was Sunny and one other person that did the removal of the insulation and they too did a nice job and were very nice. Harley, John , and Andrew cleaned up after themselves and were here in time and got things done within the timeframe they said. Luke provided great advice on what was needed and they even found things that were done wrong previously (like not having a bathroom fan that vents outside!). We had no idea! I would 100% recommend them and use them again on the future.

We’ve had ice dam issues for years and after getting a new roof and fixing some of the ventilation problems, we needed to tackle the insulation problem too (we had practically none in the attic). The team all around from start to finish has been great to work with, super friendly and responsive. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of insulation work!

My consultation experience was great. Luke was informative, patient, and thorough, and took time to explain the products, company background, and available rebates. Morgan was also very helpful when I called with follow-up questions and ensured my installation date allowed me to qualify for a 2025 tax credit. I received foam insulation for my exterior walls, spray foam for band joints/Rim joists in the basement, and dense pack loose fill insulation for a bedroom wall to help with soundproofing. The installation crews were polite and professional, used tarps while drilling, and cleaned up product spills as they worked. However, once the tarps were removed, there was no floor protection in place. Snow salt, dirt, and debris were tracked throughout my house on the hardwood floors, which required over 3 hours of cleaning. This included vacuuming/sweeping, neutralizing salt residue, repeatedly wiping the floors, and cleaning baseboards. Even after multiple passes, salt marks continued to resurface. No advance guidance was provided on floor protection, there was no final walkthrough after the job, and when I raised these concerns during the post-job follow-up call, I felt dismissed with a brief apology. There was no further discussion on the matter. For a project costing several thousand dollars, I expected better end-of-job care, communication, and for my home to be left in the condition it was before the work began.

The crew was so professional that came to insulate my attic. They explained what they were up to as it was happening , making sure they answered any questions I had. On top of doing an awesome job, they were nice to my kids and dog and respectful of my space and home. And on top of THAT , my two year old napped through the whole thing. A wonderful experience, would highly recommend.

Got additional insulation and sealing installed in the attic in February to help prevent ice dams (that is all that was recommended from the consult) and still getting ice dams. Requested further service to review work completed and anything additional that could be done and did not receive any helpful response.

From the initials sales contact to performing the job, everything went smoothly with no pressure. The work was completed on the date promised, allowing for a rebate this year. The personnel performing the installation were friendly, professional, and kept me posted on their progress. Tarps were laid down throughout the work area, and cleanup performed afterwards. We had both sides of the house attic upgraded with added insulation, air sealing, adding vent shutes, and bring us up to a proper R60 rating. I would recommend this company for any insulation needs.

USA did an outstanding job of insulating our attic above our den and sealing the rim joists in our basement. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I had the insulation in my attic done today. Jesus and the Team did a great job. Very efficient, timely and respectful. I would recommend them to others. Anna also did a great job explaining all the rebates and getting the best bang for my buck. It’s a very.confusing process, but she took her time and explained it well.

Update: Every year my home gets ice dams 2-4" thick and going back from the edge 3-4 feet. Having roof vent chutes (baffles) and sealing done made a huge difference For the first time ever I am now 100% ice dam free. I have upgraded my 4 stars to 5. Keith First let me say that the 5 star review with my name on it was not done by me. It was done by the lead installer which I find rather poor business ethics. At the end of the installation after making a final payment I was asked to do a Google review which I was fine with doing. Just not at that moment. I wanted to check for cracks in the ceiling, check the rim joists and look outside to see if any garbage was left behind. With the truck still in my driveway it is a bit to soon to be doing a review. The installer asked me to scan a QR code which I did and before I had a chance to do anything he tapped the 5 stars and hit Post before I had a chance to do anything or leave a comment. You want me to give you a review, fine. but don't do it for me and give yourself 5 stars under my name. Makes you wonder how many other 5 stars were done by employees. I would have given them 4 stars for sure and maybe 5 stars on my own if given the chance. Overall the entire project went well. I had old insulation removed, all attic bypasses sealed, new insulation added to depth of 17 inches and rim joist foamed. If your product and services meets or exceeds expectations, people will give you a good review. You don't need to lie about it. To me ethics are a important of how I choose to work with someone or not. This was a poor example of professionalism and an act made by someone who knew exactly what they were doing wrong. Sad way to end a otherwise good experience.

From the sales to the actual service done everything was well done. No sales pressure. The work was completed in a timely manner. Technicians were very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient and very friendly. Highly recommend this company. We had both sides of our town home done and they did an amazing job sealing the areas that needed it and repairing vents and replenishing the needed insulation.

I got quotes from several places. USA insulation matched the best quote I had and provided great service. The sales folks are obviously trying to turn and burn as many jobs as possible which is a bit evident but that isn't their fault, they are trying to make $$. I would do the exact same thing. Installers could not have been better, they were on time, polite, worked fast, and were very accommodating. Shout out to Harley, Andrew and Max.

Warning: long review ahead! I worked with USA for exterior wall insulation, as well as attic insulation and basement rim joist spray foam. This happened over 2 separate days. I’m not the type of person who goes with the cheapest bid; I want to get that out of the way right now. If you’re looking for cheap, go elsewhere. I value a good product, techs who know what they’re doing, etc. What are you sacrificing by going with the “cheapest”?! Anyway, I was impressed the minute that Luke came in my door. He had clearly taken time to read the Home Energy report I’d sent over in advance, so he knew what my needs were. He explained things in an easy-to-understand way without making me feel totally stupid. He showed me a video of USA’s proprietary spray foam, which is why they are a bit higher priced than some of the other bids I got. He broke down the pricing for me, explained the potential energy rebates, and was responsive the following day when I had a couple more questions. Cue Anna, communicator extraordinaire back at the office. I incessantly emailed her with install questions and she was super responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. She called me once when I was in the middle of a stressful situation and I took it out on her; she handled all of this with such grace and professionalism. A+ communication that made both installs a great success. Lastly, all the techs themselves that came to my house were a 10/10. They were thorough, polite, communicative, and cleanly when the job was done. The first day installers also did a good job adjusting to a situation with me having to leave for a bit while they were there. USA is family-owned, reliable, and legitimately full of gems of people. You won’t regret going with them!

Attic insulation was top notch from start to finish. Owner of the company contacted me in the morning of the install and set expectations of start time. I was notified when crew was on the way to my property from their last job. When the crew arrived I was informed of the scope of work, length of time, and what to expect. The crew inspected the attic and documented all the issues I had with potential air leaks before the process and documented all of the corrective actions after work was completed. The crew was very careful with all equipment in and out of the house, cleaned up before they left and made sure I was taken care of. Today, the USA Insulation crew sealed and insulated my attic and did a blower test before and after that showed lots of improvement. They arrived on time, used drop cloths to cover all the floors and steps and vaccumed any dust afterwards. Both my neighbor and I had crews at our houses, one was just foaming the gaps at vents and pipes, as well as additional insulation on top of what I had; the other was an extraction due to critters, sanitizing and a whole new layer of insulation. They arrived ON-TIME, friendly and explained everything they were doing. My project was complete in 2-1/2 hours; my neighbor an additional hour later. 2 crews: roughly 4 hrs; both jobs complete!!

Great experience! Extremely thorough inspection and quote process where the guys went all the way up into my attic and to the back corners to find issues that other people that I got quotes from didn’t. On the day of, the guys showed up on time, got right to work, finished early and cleaned up after themselves. They even sealed my attic hatch behind them for better energy efficiency and cleaned up where they found evidence of an animal having gotten into the attic.

Couldn't be happier with the job the guys did. Arrived on time, they were both friendly and polite, they got right to work and did so efficiently, cleaned up very well, and we're done with an entire 3 bedroom house + an additional room in about 7 hour without a trace. I'll know how effective it is later this summer and again in the winter, but the guys get a 10 out of 10 from me.

so far ive been very happy. temps consistently 5-6 deg higher than before application, and my furnace is not running nearly as much; heat is retained better -far less drafty. I really didn't expect it to make such of an impact on street noise reduction, which is a great added bonus they dont really advertise

My wife and I are first time homeowners and needed work done in our attic and we couldn't be happier with our choice of USA Insulation!!! We needed 14 inches of insulation added, better ventilation, and air sealing done. They had Energy Consultant, Jason, come out to provide the estimate. He was on time, and even asked me beforehand if it would be ok for him to come out 1 hour earlier than our scheduled appointment since he had a schedule change. In the past we've had other companies just show up significantly early with no communication, so I appreciated Jason for respecting our time as well. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, respectful, and honest with his assessment and even explained the Center Point rebate we were eligible for. We had an Energy Consultant from Snap Construction come out the same week and had a very unpleasant experience - very pushy, rushing, and used some scare tactics to try and persuade us to spend $5K more on another service. Jason did none of that and made us feel comfortable while also better educating us with the available options and process, so we booked the work with him & USA Insulation. For the appointment, Jesus and Zach came out on time and were very thorough, clean, and respectful throughout the entire process. They even gave me tips on how to insulate other portions of our house and caulked a portion of our closet that had a crack in it where a little bit of insulation was coming out (the crack was not due to anything they did). They also did an air flow test both before and after the work was done (and showed me the numbers) to help explain the impact of having the work done. From start to finish we couldn't be happier with USA Insulation, including being more reasonably priced than 2 other companies we got estimates from. We'll definitely be going with them again if we need any future work done!!!

Early this winter I had my attic insulated by this company and have so many wonderful things to say about them. I had an amazing experience with the USA Insulation team! Matt, Anna, Tiffany and the others I worked with were all patient, helpful and knowledgeable. It was an easy process and they provided great guidance about energy rebates. They were prompt, efficient and I will recommend them to anyone needing insulation!

We used USA Insulation to add more insulation in our attic. I appreciated that the sales team and install team both took the time to walk me through in detail what was going to be done and why, making suggestions of what could help and the costs involved. There were before and after photos of the attic to show the work and they assisted with the tests for the energy rebate. All crew members were polite and on time. It was a good experience and I would use them again.

We could not have been more amazed, satisfied and pleased with the team that did our insulation on 11/21/24. They arrived exactly as I was told they would and were done in less time than expected. The team leader (so sorry I didn’t write his name down) was very polite, professional and very well prepared for our installation.. His team was equally good. I would recommend USA Insulation to every one! Most especially with ALL the horror stories you see in the news. Also their office team was very informative, polite, our invoice was sent promptly as well as them checking on how we liked the service provided. Excellent all around. We found them on Angi!

BEWARE! The first winter after USA Insulation installed their insulation, our house was wamer. The second winter, the draft and cold feeling returned. Another concern that is as big as the ineffective insulation is USA Insulation confirmed practice of drilling 2" holes in the siding to inject the insulation, then placing plugs to cover the holes. See attached photos. USA Insulation did not complete the job of properly patching the holes, sanding and painting the plugs. The fact that there is a disclaimer in the agreement that USA Insulation DID NOT called out in their sales presentation tells me a lot. It tells me USA Insulation knows that it is virtually impossible to bring the appearance of the siding back to its original state or even close. In my search for contractors to complete the siding work, I found no reputable contractors willing to patch the holes, sand, paint to match and guarantee it could be done without leaving blemishes. In fact, one contractor tried and the results are horribly noticeable. USA Insulation replaced the rough saw cedar and composite board holes with inferior plugs that doesn’t match the texture, quality or integrity of the original material. Even after painting to match the color, the blemishes are still very noticeable as the texture differences between the plug and the original siding looks horrific. Long story short, the only way to bring the property back to its original appearance is to replace the siding. In the end, the $10K paid to USA Insulation for their insulation will cost us another $32K for new siding. I would definitely NOT recommend this insulation nor drilling holes that permanently mar the original appearance which the clients have to remediate at their cost.

USA Insulation Team (MJ, Ballentine and Matt were on the crew) came for my Foam Based insulation of my basement, one bedroom that was always cold and office. They did absolutely fantastic job and very professional work. They preped nicely, did the insulation properly and cleaned up professionally. I could see the difference in the basement as they worked on the area. It was getting to normal temperature. Awesome job guys, you are the best crew of USA Insulation. Very professional installers, very nice installers, very clean installers. And we would recommend again! The professional installers listen to our questions and they gave awesome answers. After our attic and outside walls insulation was completed they cleaned up their job site completely! Thank you to our awesome Professionals USA INSULATION OF MINNEAPOLIS INSTALLERS! We could tell right away how much warmer our house is now after having the whole house insulation!

After a recent cold snap, I had the misfortune of waking up to water dripping down from my bathroom fan. I poked my head up in the attic, and I was shocked to see a thick layer of frost all over my roof sheathing, and now it was melting and raining down into my house. After talking with my general contractor, he highly recommended that I give Matt at USA insulation a call. He came over and determined that I had insufficient air flow, along with a poorly vented bathroom fan. He recommended we remove the old insulation, air seal all openings, and air penetrations, replace the soffit baffles, and blow in new insulation. Matt and his team completed the project as promised, and they did a great job while working in extremely difficult and tight spaces. They were very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them for any insulation needs.
