Koala Insulation of Miami

We had a truly terrible experience with this company. The operations manager was kind and helpful, until the owner stepped in to shut down any communication to help us resolve some of the issues that were left after they finished the install. The mismatch between what they communicated about their blown in insulation and what was actually delivered caused great distress to our growing family, and we are sorry to say we cannot recommend them for that reason.

After much search almost a year, looking for the right company to do my insulation. I finally found a company that I would highly highly highly recommend. Koala of South Miami. Professional, fair priced, and their team of professionals who installed the installation in a celling that probably 140° were amazing. Covering up areas in my garage that might get dirty and they’re cleanup after they finished. Everything was super professional, and on top of that their manager comes and does the final inspection to see if everything was done correctly and on top of that they give you pictures of all the things that they’ve done and what they’re replaced or throughout. Thank you, Koala of South Miami for being one of the few companies in Miami that operate like your company does.

Logan came and gave us an estimate. Took about 15 minutes in total. My attic had very little insulation and had a very narrow entry point to get to the main part of my house. Logan said Britten would be able to make it happen when he got here. Well. He did not disappoint. They showed up on time, they got the work done in under 2 hours and sitting in my dining room I already feel the difference. I no longer feel the heat radiating from my ceiling. They also took care of the rebate for me. Great team. I highly recommend them.

The crew was awesome and very professional. They were very clean and walked you through the whole thing. I’ve never insulated my house before, and this was a very seamless experience. Even down to the FPL rebate. I highly recommend these guys.

Great job by Andres & David. David definitely listened to my concerns and answered all my questions with great patience. He made sure the job was completed as it truly should be done. Andres did not rush the job just to finish quickly. He made sure to apply the foam correctly even with it taking a little longer than anticipated. I don't recall the names of all the other guys but it was a team effort and each person doing there part is integral to a quality job. The Koala TEAM, Was AMAZING, They Listen why I explain what I wanted especially where the Vents needed work and the Low pitch roof needed some expertise to make it happen. They inspected the attic and the work that was needed to be done and Jason explain the several ways of making it happen and the cost. From the time I reached out to get an estimate, everything with Koala was smooth and timeless. Within 4 hours someone called me back to schedule the appointment for estimate. The estimate was scheduled in a timely manner and the rep came out as scheduled. He was extremely professional and gave me several options. He also told me the previous insulation was not sufficient and showed me pictures of the current situation. There was also a tax credit that goes with the purchase that I am all too grateful to submit at tax time. It took me a few days to get around to viewing the estimate and comparing but in the end, I decided on Koala. The deposit was paid and immediately the service was scheduled at my convenience. The day of the install, I was expecting the technicians as early as they showed, but I wasn't upset about their arrival time. They quickly got to work and within 2.5 hours, the job was completed and the in attic fan was also installed. Everything about this installation was smooth sailing and the communication was the best ever. If I had to do it all over again, I would highly recommend Koala for insulation services.

I was impressed!!!!! The communication was second to none. I called their office to request that someone come out to meet with me and look at the insulation in our home. I spoke to a very pleasant live person, they gave me a few available dates and. times to choose from. After i chose a date and time to meet their rep. I received an email from Koala advising me of the person's name and the date and time that he would be arriving at our home. The day before the scheduled meeting with their rep, i received an email reminder of the scheduled appointment. The day of the appointment i received a phone call from Matt, the rep that was assigned to meet with me. He called 1 hour before his appointment time to advise that he was on his way. He arrived a few minutes early. Matt went up into the attic with me, he saw exactly what we had, he came out of the attic and wrote up a proposal improve our 30+ year old house attic insulation. There was no high pressure sales tactics used. I received a follow up communication from Koala asking how Matt did and how they did. I placed a phone call to Koala a few days later and set up the work that Matt proposed to be performed. I received an email communication confirming date and time when the crew would be at our home to perform this work. The day before the work was to be performed i received another communication reminder of the appointment the following day. The day the work was to be performed, i received a communication that the crew was in route and they gave me a very accurate estimated time of arrival. After the work was completed, I received an email requesting how the job went. The work was performed perfectly, the crew was friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. The cleaned up after they completed their work, and left not a trace of anything behind for me to clean up. I have worked in a service industry for over 50 years now, and i can. honestly say that I have never had an experience dealing with a service company. HOW RARE!. Thank you Rene, Matt and David, I don't know how you have assembled such a great group of people working with you. Every person that i dealt with in to get this project completed was amazing. Matt came out on time to give us an estimate. He went into the attic to check the insulation that we had already, and discovered the reason we had a problem keeping the house cool was because out AC ducts were not attached. The unit has been installed since 2020 and we have had the AC company out numerous times to find the problem to no avail. Matt actually taped everything up and fixed the ducts . Amazing, instant relief. We also knew we needed more insulation, which he confirmed. He gave us a reasonable price. I did not get estimates from anyone else, as one of my clients recommended Koala. Very professional. Excellent work. The difference can be felt immediately. They filled in every nook that was left undone from the previous installation. The west side of my house now is as cool as the rest of my house. My air conditioner is working much more efficiently. They even took care of the air leak I had coming from the top of my air handler. Hired this company to install much needed attic insulation in our home. Excellent experience from start to end, from the representative who came to check the site and provide a quote, to the flawless work performed by 3 techs on-site. Very professional, polite, efficient. They cleaned up any remaining dust, materials after completing the job. Both times reps arrived right on-time. Process took around 2 hours for our home, might take longer for bigger homes/sites. We had less than 1 inch of pseudo-insulation before Koala. Now have over 13 inches of new insulation material and we are already noticing our A/C not being pushed to its limits. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We were in a bid of a pickle as the drywall installer were scheduled to come out to install the new ceiling within a couple of days. Good, professional workers. They showed up on time. Completed the work in under an hour as promised. They took the time clean up after the work was done. There were cheaper alternatives but Koala paid extra attention to details. They sanitized the attic, insulated the attic hatch, took extra care not to block the soffit vents, and put it all in writing, well documented before and after. Delivered on everything they promised. Koala did an excellent job installing blown insulation in our attic space. Matt was our salesman, and he was very punctual, offered a few different options for us to choose from, and answered all our questions. I also liked that included in the price was a cover for the attic hatch, so we don't just have a sheet of uninsulated plywood letting the A/C escape anymore. Troy & Stevenson were our techs, and they were very friendly, cleaned up after themselves, and showed us photos of all the work they did in our attic. We went from having no insulation in some places to 12-16 inches in others! I highly recommend Koala.

The magnificent team at Koala Insulation started work at 8 in the morning and finished 10 hours later !! They removed all the old 40 year old insulation which was less than an inch tall and put in a new one over 16 inches tall (Wow!). It was a perfect job performed with a super professional, friendly, courteous and communicative team. They took photos of before, during and after the installation. Not two hours ago and I already feel the difference in all the rooms. Now I have a rich cool to cold environment matched in all rooms !! They have exceeded all my expectations! I am extremely impressed and pleasantly pleased with the work done today by Koala Installation!
