Wonderful job! Caden was excellent in his assessment of our HVAC system needs for more efficient distribution of air throughout our home. He thoughroughly explained everything and gave us a price breakdown. We implemented the changes and followed up with additional upgraded insulation as well on our home. Jesus and Talin did a great job adding the insulation as well. A big Thank you! to you all. If you need insulation or duct work I would definitely recommend Thermo-Shield.

Good contractors who offer value, quality and who stand behind their work are hard to come by. If there’s any problems, they will be responsive and genuinely address your concerns. I only wish they offered whole home services so I could use them more often and I wouldn’t have to deal with the jungle of lower level services.

From start to finish everything went like clockwork. We had an inspection, complete with photos, a detailed proposal and a work schedule all in one sitting. The crew, Raffa, Talin, and the Manager Darwin showed up right on the dot at 6:30 am. Work was done all before noon. We had a duct sealing, full insulation the replacement of a rooftop whirly-bird, and the sealing of all gaps at downlights and at the rooftop HVAC plenum. In choosing Thermo Shield I first contacted SRP, an organization that I trust implicitly. They gave Thermo Shield a thumbs up, indicating that a substantial number of their customers have used Thermo Shield in connection with the utility's energy efficiency rebate programs. That's all I needed to move forward. With summer around the corner I'm confident that we will now be able to control our energy costs.

Ricardo and Pedro did an excellent job from start to finish. They removed our old attic insulation, replacing it with open cell foam insulation. They arrived right on time, explained every part of the process, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything. Our attic presented a couple access issues which they resolved quickly and professionally, and when one part of the attic proved too tight to spray the foam, they returned on Christmas Eve to install the best alternative.

The staff was very friendly and careful to protect our property. In particular, Dena and Caden were professional and detailed. The videos taken of the work were great to see and feel good about the work accomplished.

Ricardo, Jesus and Andres did a get job. Very respectful of property. Arrived on time and cleaned everything up afterwards. They added addition insulation and replaced a vent system that was not cooling well.

When the sales person came to my house I gave him my SRP account number to use for the rebate. I was told they would vacum every thing up when they were done putting in the insulation. Day of service, they showed up 10 minutes early, good start. They asked me why I did not empty my closet where the entrance to the attic is. I said the sales person told me I did not have to. They were not happy about that but put plastic up to protect everything. After they were complete I heard them vacuming. I was on an important phone call so I could not go and check everything out. They asked me to sign that they completed the work and again asked me for the SRP number. I did not have time to log into my account to find it again, I told them I already gave it to the sales rep. Also on my paperwork it was stated by the sales rep that I would be paying cash, so the taxes would be waived. This was confirmed when they called me to schedule the date of service. I paid the cash agreed to and they left. I started my phone conversation again and then there was pounding on the door saying I did not pay them enough. Seems they never put the cash amount on the paperwork. Communication at this company is awful. I have not gone in the attic yet to check out the work, but the stars are based on the communication and the mess they left. I then got an email from the company stating they needed my SRP account number to process the rebate. So I guess when the sales rep says he needed it the day he came to sell me the service and he did not share it? Can't figure that out. What a mess. Also, they did a horrible job vacuming. They also left a trail of insulation from the front door to their vehicle and another one from the bedroom to the front door. There were also several piles in the closet. I had to vacum it up and it filled the entire canister of my vacum. Then I had to go outside and sweep up their mess. Very disappointed in this company.<br><br>Update: The company contacted me and apologized. They will talk to the team that was at my house to make sure they know how important it is to clean up and also will address the communication issues. The sales person will be coming out to go in the attic and check the work to make sure everything was done correctly.

They showed up on time and spent about 5 hours insulating my attic and completing all the tasks that were promised. They also had some insulation left over so they gave me more than what was agreed upon.

He got up in our small old crawl space and looked all over and took pictures and videos. He came down to show us what he found and discuss the problems we were having. He took his time to answer our questions and I felt he was very honest and genuine.<br><br>Price: we got multiple other quotes and no one even came close to Thermo Shield. We had an estimate from Cozy that was almost TEN TIMES the cost, and their work didn’t even include duct replacement. Thermoshield added an entire new duct entry and return line to our room. They sealed some ducts and completely replaced others (about half the house worth). They added new insulation. Amazing price for all they did.<br><br>Work Done: They scheduled us for two days, since it was ductwork and insulation. Both days, the workers arrived right on time. Great communication. Everyone was so nice and they laid down plastic wrap in the room to make sure everything stayed clean. On the last day, they showed me pictures before they left of all the work completed. It looks great! I’m very excited to see how it affects this summer’s heat!<br><br>I have already recommended twice to family and friends.

I recently added a garage to my home and realized it needs insulation. I contacted many insulation companies and decided to go with Thermo shield LLC. The price was right and after Zach and Nick explained the procedures and appearances of spray foam i was sold. My house had a design flaw. To get my main bedroom and bath to be comfortable, I had to have the living room freezing cold. I slept comfortably last night for the first time, without having to have the A/C on 68. This alone will help with my utility bills. They reworked my air ducts so the a/c was able to service all areas equally. My attic insulation wasn’t up to code either, so they blew in more to get the thickness that was needed. I’m curious to see my next bill. Their employees are all super nice and easy to work with. From the office staff to sales… to the guys doing all the super hard work… in August!! They are SRP approved for rebates. The price was cheaper than my first option of putting a mini-split in the bedroom. I highly recommend these folks.

Thermo Shield fixed 2 of my bedrooms that where not getting any air conditioning. Caden provided a thorough and detailed reason and a plan to fix it along with a military discount. I was referred to Thermo Shield by a friend that really liked them. Had Caden come to our home for an estimate on adding more insulation. He was very thourow and took lots of pictures to show us what he saw needed to be improved. Price was very reasonable and work was completed in a timely manner. I do not have enough good things to say about Thermo Shield and their employees. Everything from the initial inquiry, home visit, old insulation removal, making minor repairs, and finally getting the spray foam complete was beyond expectations. Thermo Shield sent Caden to our home for the original site visit and quote. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things insulation and approached my wife and I from a consultative approach. He made sure to ask us plenty of questions about what we were experiencing and what we were looking for. Victor and Alex were the crew who was there for our whole project. Victor and Aaron were very kind and professional. Honestly, these guys are amazing at their work. They were here for three days sucking out the old insulation, sealing air ducts, and then finally doing the spray foam. Through the entire process Caden never hesitated to respond to our constant stream of questions that popped up! Again, I would hire these guys in a second if we ever need another project. There is a very good reason they have a super high number of projects completed with SRP for their energy rebate program. These guys truly are the best.

Very professional organization from Caden who bid the job and took the time to explain exactly the whole process of what would be happening to each and every worker that removed and added our insulation. In our 30 year old house the insulation had settled. Thermo Shield salesman Darwin was covered in dust when he came down from the attic with pics of the insulation and ductwork. I knew he had actually done a thorough investigation, not faked it.<br>Rafa and Neftaly arrived on time and spent a lot of time making repairs before blowing in the insulation. They provided good photos of before and after and I was impressed with their professionalism. Ronald and Ricardo did a super job on foam insulation. These guys worked hard all day to get the project done and the temps were record breaking hot. Not sure how they are able to wear those encapsulated suits and respirators in the extreme heat but they remained positive and smiling the whole time. Thanks for the great service! Thermo Shield offered the broadest array of home efficiency services. The consultant, Caden, gave our home a thorough look and identified other ways to improve our efficiency. His focus was on recommending only those services that would return value to me, not anything and everything that would improve efficiency. Beyond that, he suggested minor improvements that a DIYer could do to save $ and I handled those on my own.<br><br>The quotes and payments were all well documented using modern technology for record keeping and payment security. Not all contractors that quoted me accepted credit card payments and Thermo Shield’s quote was still very competitive for all the work done.<br><br>Thermo Shield partners with APS and handles the rebate process on the customer’s behalf, reducing project cost by the available rebates. They also made me aware of available tax credits I may also qualify for.<br><br>The installation crew (Pedro and Ronald) did great work. I had spray foam done in one section of the house where it made sense and blown in insulation in another. My ductwork was sealed. Knee wall insulation repaired. Access doors batted. We selected Thermo Shield from the SRP website as a preferred vendor. We wanted to get our ductwork inspected as part of the SRP programs. The young men that did our work were Aaron, Pedro and Victor and were very thorough, very professional, and very detailed. They were conscientious of our needs because our home is a bit different than most being Strawbale. Caden came out before the work began to help set up and assure us that everything would go well. We are very happy with thermo shield. Levi was very easy to work with. Arianna called several times to communicate on progress.<br><br>We went with spray foam and had them fix our duct leaks. It took and about a week for the whole thing to get done since it was a big job.<br><br>Rafa and his partner (whose name escapes me) worked in extreme heat during that time. Every time I checked on them they were exhausted but polite and informative. They actually talked to you, gave updates, and didn’t dismiss us.<br><br>There were a few things they had to touch up at the end of the job which is to be expected but they communicated that to us and Arianna scheduled these things with no additional hassle. Levi came out and inspected the work which is something you don’t see others do.<br><br>Overall I would recommend this company. The house is great the people are great and they are committed to doing an excellent job and doing the little things to make a good experience.

Thermo Shield installed insulation in the attic of my new home. My house was not cooling properly, and the A/C could not keep up. After installation, there is an obvious difference in temperature and the A/C is finally able to keep up with the AZ heat! Nick and his team communicated well with me throughout the entire process and the price was reasonable considering the quality of work and the other quotes I received. I would highly recommend their services.

ThermoShield was awesome. Levi came out to do our initial quote and helped us find the best solution to cool our front room. They came out about a week later to blow in the insulation in the attic over the room and fix the multiple the air duct leaks we had. Jesus and Andres showed up on time, were efficient, tidy, and did a great job. The room was immediately cooler (even before they left!) and my husband keeps commenting on the how the entire house just feels nice now. There's no one room that's significantly cooler, it's evened out a lot. I'm super happy with their work and would 100% recommend.

All was going well till the end where they didn't make sure to monitor the attic crawl space entry point.<br><br>Huge plums of insulation and 30 years of dust came out of my attic into our upstairs hallway and in turn all over the front of my house. Setting off the fire alarms it was so dusty.<br><br>While a discount was given I was left to clean up the mess because the only thing they had to clean with was an handheld shop vac that was useless.<br><br>They didn't even take all the tape off. Left smudges and dirt on my walls.<br><br>The HVAC system sucked a ton of dust in because they said they turned off my AC unit but only turned up the temp so it came back on.<br><br>I would look elsewhere if you want people who are good from start to finish. They were also two-four hours late in their arrival.

I'll be honest, I had low expectations when I signed up with APS to have an energy audit conducted on my home, but this is one of those rare instances that far exceeded my expectations. Through the APS home energy audit program ($99), they contracted Thermo Shield to perform the energy audit and make recommendations. (Thermo Shield actually subcontracted the audit to HEAT - Home Energy Auditing & Thermography, who also did an amazing job. Check out my review on their page as well.)<br><br>I fully suspected that the audit would result in recommendations amounting to 10's of thousands of dollars in upgrades to windows, roofing materials, etc. Instead, Thermo Shield recommended a short list of high-impact, low-cost improvements to my home, which included: AC duct sealing, an additional air return to my AC unit, adding pass-through vents above bedroom doors, adding attic insulation, and sealing off a portion of my attic that the home builders failed to do when the house was built in the 90's. All of this work was performed for a reasonable price of just under $2,200.<br><br>Ever since we moved into our house 14 years ago, it's never been able to stay cool in the summers, even after replacing our entire AC unit a few years ago. By adding the additional air return to our AC unit, we've already noticed a huge difference in overall coolness and comfort. I'm looking forward to seeing how the other upgrades lower my energy costs and improve the overall comfort throughout this summer.<br><br>The team from Thermo Shield that performed the work (Caden, Jesus, and Andres) was very professional and did a great job, including finishing touches and cleanup. It was originally scheduled for only one day, but ended up needing two days to complete. The team was very helpful in their scheduling and communications, and was on-time to the appointment both days.<br><br>If you're an APS customer, you absolutely MUST opt for the $99 home energy audit. (I'm not sure, but I would suspect SRP probably has a similar program.) In any case, I would highly recommend Thermo Shield for conducting the audit, recommendations, and upgrades to make your home more energy efficient.

Thermo Shield was fantastic in addressing our insulation issues. Jesus and Dylan were very professional and had incredible attention to detail. They ensured all the areas of extra concern were addressed and took very thorough pictures and documentation. I would absolutely recommend them!

We had Thermo Shield remove our old insulation, air seal the attic, and then add new insulation. Every step of the way Thermo Shield had excellent customer service, they were attentive to details we asked about, and were very reasonable and fair with their pricing. Levi provided a thorough walkthrough of the process, and quickly got back to us when we had questions; and Jesus and Ronald did an immaculate job sealing the attic and filling in the new insulation evenly. They also happily provided pictures before, during, and after the work. Everyone was polite, professional, and friendly. Would definitely hire again for any future insulation or attic needs and would highly recommend!

Technicians Ronald and Rafael were punctual and on time, very communicative with pictures and overall did a fantastic job. After 30 years after my home was built the attic insulation was at 5” and they raised it with blown insulation to 14”. Very pleased with their quality and work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

From the start the team was a pleasure to work with. Levi came to my home to give an estimate. He was polite and professional. And he found a broken intake duct that needed repair. Gustavo and Rafael came a few days later to install the insulation. They were also polite and professional. Their work was done smoothly. They explained what they had done (with photos) and cleaned up after the work was done. I recommend this company without reservation.

The Thermo Shield went through my house carefully to check my insulation and other areas where I might make changes to improve my energy efficiency. He showed me photos of my attic insulation so I could see that for myself. In the end he did not find anything that I needed to change except my AC filter and even helped me install the clean one that I already had. I very much appreciated that he was honest and did not try to sell me unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this company.

We discovered our home builder did not insulate our garage walls that we had paid for as an upgrade. We chose Thermo Shield as the best solution to fill the wall gaps as opposed to blow-in insulation. We are pleased with the results. Epilogue— our home builder Taylor Morrison made good on the insulation omission and reimbursed us even after five years.

I waited to provide this review to see how the insulation and ductwork performed over the summer.<br><br>The crew that did the work in February communicated very well and the result is better than expected. We had them remove the old insulation, install spray foam, and change some ductwork to balance the airflow in the 2nd story.<br><br>We have kept the inside cooler by several degrees this summer now that work from home seems permanent, installed air conditioning in the garage, and added an electric car. Our electric bill this month when Phoenix hit all sorts of records is still less than what we paid same time last year. It was much less in June.<br><br>Break even point is still measured in years but very happy with the product and service. Depending on utility rates, that break even point may come sooner.

Thermo Shield was on the list from SRP as preferred contractors and they're there for a reason. They were quick to answer my phone calls, came out shortly after for a quote and looked in my attic and found that my insulation was barely covering the trusses. I got multiple other quotes but Thermo Shield was the best price for the services they were offering. They did duct sealing in the attic and at my air vents in the house, then they added insulation. My house feels WAY cooler after the insulation being added and my electricity bill has gone down significantly. After the install they are still quick to answer the phones and return calls. Thermo Shield added blown insulation to the Attic and did a wonderful job (3500 sq ft @ R44). The crew was friendly and professional. They used the latest equipment and had measurement labels throughout the Attic to make sure the proper amount was being added to all of the low areas. I would highly recommend them for your insulation needs.

Very professional, courteous, and respectful. Still yet to be determined what kind of cost savings I’ll see, but they did a good job. We converted a portion of our attic space into a usable attic so they applied spray foam in the rafters which brought the temperature up there way down. So far we’ve only seen 100 degrees, but the temperature in the attic has not gone over 80. The rest of the space (not used as attic) they filled to 18” with cellulose. I’m hopeful that brings the ac run time down this summer.

Don’t hesitate! All my interactions with them were professional, unbelievably knowledgeable, comprehensive and detailed. They are very reasonably priced and worth every penny. They were punctual and communicative and did an above and beyond job. They re insulated our 6000 sq ft attic and fully sealed the attic from the house. A big messy job, but they left everything beautifully clean. They also helped make sure that there were no duct leaks and with energy efficiency. Highly recommend!

I used Thermo Shield recently to install spray foam insulation in my attic. I was very happy with Thermo Shield from the very start. I had read a lot of reviews and some horror stories about the spray foam insulation. None of them were related to Thermo Shield but it still made me leery about doing the work. Caden was great at explaining the whole process and answering all of my questions as I was not really sure if I wanted to go this route after some of the things I had read. He knows his products and business. He went above and beyond my expectations as did everyone involved in the project. I am totally pleased with the work done and would highly recommend Thermo Shield to anyone looking to have this type of work done. Wow! What a great company and an easy experience to improve our comfort level. Called three companies and found Thermo Shield to be the ONLY one of the three who would send someone for an on-site inspection and estimate. Caden was responsive, showed up on time, made the inspection and took pictures of areas that definitely needed attention. We likely had about an R-19 level in this 2004-built home. He pointed out many "voids" where there was no coverage, mostly on the Westernmost facing area of the attic (the heat sink in the Summer months). When he made his estimate, his pricing was better than those who would not even send out a rep to look but quoted prices site unseen. On installation day, Wayne Cotton and his son Wayne came to do the work. What a nice team and a compliment to the company they work for. They went to work and completed the work in about 2 1/2 hours. They cleaned everything up to better than it was on their arrival. Wayne told me he found even more barren areas as he penetrated the attic space and he made sure everything was covered to at least the R-44 we signed up for. I appreciate this company and I highly recommend them to my family and friends. Looking forward to lower energy costs.<br><br>It has been 3+ years since they insulated our attic and our air conditioning bills are down about 35%. We hired Thermo Shield to upgrade the insulation in our attic. We were impressed with their professionalism, quality of work and quick responses to our questions. They provided photos when they completed the job, which were super helpful with our insurance company after a roof leak a year later. They were also happy to help us with repair work after the leak. Great experience! We needed insulation and reflective barrier to get our energy bills under control. The technicians did a thorough inspection of the attic and suggested a fix. The price was competitive, they showed up on time, and did a great job (I checked thoroughly!) When they were done they cleaned everything and showed me pictures of the work. 10/10, best contractor I have worked with.

[Update] Nick came to the house and answered all of my questions and resolved all my outstanding issues. Thermoshield gave a very competitive quote for removal of my old fiberglass insulation and installation of spray foam. Installation on was quick and I was back in the house by 4pm. The first thing I noticed was how much more quiet my house was, being in Tempe the noise from Sky Harbor has always been there so the silence was exaggerated. I could immediately notice a difference, my house holds temp evenly and consistently with my split floor plan. Before the installation I could see as much as a 8-10 degree increase on the west end of my home. A week out I went to check out the work, insulation looked great.

What didn't I expect? A quieter home, where the heater rarely turns on, an attic where I can store things at a reasonable temperature and a professional who followed up with his infrared temperature gun and who is easy to refer to my friends and family (thanks Caden), that they would handle all the rebates, and a 50% reduction in airflow to the outside. Yeah, my house was leaky. What I hoped for were people who arrived on time, did the work that they promised to do and left on time. One of their machines went down on the first day of removing my insulation, and they brought back two machines the next day to make sure that they got it done on time. The instances of exceeding my customer service expectations and the thorough and quality workmanship were numerous. And their quote was 25% cheaper than the other quote I received. Very, very happy customer here.
