This is without a doubt one of the worst experiences we have ever had with anyone working on our home. About a month after we moved into our house we decided to have our shower redone. After looking at different products we found Taylor construction was the rep for the product we wanted. We scheduled an in home consultation and started the process. Brandon came to our house and gave a quote for the work we wanted. We specifically did not want a curb on our shower. We were told this was completely normal and would not change anything.This would become the downfall of the entire project. We signed the contract and waited about six weeks for our install. The big day came, the one day install that would give us the shower we have wanted for, for years. The installer got the pan and walls installed and then told us that the door would not work because it was made to install on a curb. We contacted the office and were told they would find some options for a door that would work. In the meantime our shower was unusable. After about 3 weeks we were sent one option for a door and told if we didn't want that door, the cost of the door would be removed from the total and we could find our own door. We chose to go with the option that was offered because it was the same door we found from a local supplier. What we were not told was that it would take over 2 months for Taylor construction to get that door, so at this point our one day install would be more in the range of 4 months. Shower still unusable. Finally the door came in and we were on the schedule for install. To say that the install of the door was embarrassing would be too kind. The installer left stickers on the glass that wrapped around the edge and still put the glass in the track making it impossible to remove the stickers unless the frame is disabled, he used silicone like he was paid by the ounce on parts that don't ever require it and may have ran out before he got to the parts that would actually require silicone. The stop for the glass door was installed in the wrong location and the door was so far out of adjustment that once closed it would stick behind the plastic track. As you can imagine the plastic stop for the door only lasted about 3 weeks before it broke. We called Taylor and tried to find something that could be done to fix these problems. After numerous calls a technician was sent out with no clue what the issues were and no way to fix them. Again more calls and more promises from different pepole and we were conected with Chri, the parts manager to get something worked out. Chri told us she was going to order a new sill for the door and have it sent directly to our house, if we would let her know when it arrived she would send someone out to install it. Surprise,wrong part shows up on our doorstep. Not just the wrong part but a part that doesn't even have a use on the door we have. The next round of call conects us with Scott the vp of Taylor construction who promised he would look into our issues and get this worked out. Chri came to our house the find out exactly what needs to be addressed and a few weeks later returned with a new sill for the door but absolutely no why to install it, however she did partially remove the old sill before saying she didn't have any silicone to install the new sill so now the problem is worse. Now here we are 6 months later almost 1 year into this with a shower that leaks water on the floor, a door that doesn't stay closed and waiting weeks between contacts from Taylor Construction. Before Christmas we were told they wanted to replace the door and would send us some options. Today the 22nd of January we were sent a message with 3 options but also told we needed to pick one today to get it ordered, like we are the problem. This is a horrible way to do business. If you can find a product from another company do it. I think you would be a lot happier in the end. I myself am close to removing this shower and dropping it off on Scott's desk for him to deal with.

Brett was a great salesman to work with. Professional and really appreciate him following up to make sure we were satisfied with his work. 10/10 recommend!

We requested a quote for gutterguards. The salesman insisted on going through a very long sales pitch for all his company's services before giving me his quote. When finally interrupted him and asked again for the quote, he became indignant and said that they were not the company for us. I agreed and showed him the door. He wasted 45 minutes of my time for something that should have taken 15 minutes and I never did get a quote. Other companies have been very professional and focused on the requested service and provided reasonable quotes. I'm a senior and in all my years, I have never dealt with someone so arrogant that they wouldn't even give me the requested quote. I have to believe this is not a consistent practice of this company or they would already be out of business. Having said that though, I cannot recommend them and will certainly take them off of my list for this job and and future home repair work.

Donnie with Southern Industries was outstanding to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through updating our windows, making sure everything was explained clearly and done right. What truly stood out was the genuine connection he built with both my husband and me. He listened to our needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made the entire experience comfortable and professional. We are very pleased with the updates and would absolutely recommend Donald and Southern Industries to anyone looking for quality work and great customer service.

In July 2007 we purchased a full set of 14 replacement windows with Taylor Construction. Just this month, January 2026 (19 years later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) they came out to replace the 2nd pane that failed at cost honoring their warranty. Their technician Dan was GREAT as was Michael who arranged the warranty service. I would only go with Taylor Construction. Who backs up a warranty after 19 years??????? TAYLOR CONSTRUCTION DOES. Icing on top: Dan noticed the ballast had gone bad for the window with the pane they were replacing. Dan replaced the ballast too without asking. My jaw is on the floor in 2026 with this excellent service. THANK YOU TAYLOR CONSTRUCTION. THANK YOU DAN. THANK YOU MICHAEL.

Wonderful service to repair our Gutter Guard system and add new gutters around our front porch! Brett was professional, punctual, and very friendly and the installer was top-notch. Our sales rep JD was terrific as was the follow up regarding the product order and installation. Best part was the installation - two Hispanic guys worked nonstop from 10-6 and then a two hour drive to home. They did a fantastic job and ready for another the next day.

The demolition and installation of my new shower went amazingly well. Miguel and his partner were very professional and took care of protecting my floors and carpet throughout the process. They arrived at 9am and had the job completed by 5pm. When they were done you would not have known they had been there. They leak checked the drain and valves and then made sure that I was pleased with everything before they left. I would definitely use them again.

Brandon Helmes was polite, informative and professional. He gave me suggestions for other projects that I need completed as well as an estimate for the bath to shower makeover. I did sign up for a picture window replacement since the window has been leaking and needs to be replaced. He explained that someone else will contact me to come out and measure the window which will then have to be manufactured to specifications. Brandon explained the time frame from then to installation is about 6 weeks. Since I have several projects that need to be completed, he understood that I will need to do these things in stages and did not push for a same day signed contract on the bath makeover. Brandon is a credit to your company and seems to enjoy his job. He was the third salesperson that has looked at my bath makeover and was by far the most knowledgeable, professional and had the best products for the best price.

We appreciate Robb coming out to go over options for our tub/shower replacement. He was very knowledgeable and explained very well the benefits alot each material option he had to offer as well as the pricing associated with them. He made the process of choosing very easy by bringing materials that we could see touch and feel alongside our current decor./furnishings and real before and after photos of other clients with similar floor plans. He went over all the pricing options which were reasonable and less than expected. All of this left little to the imagination of what to expect once we sign and install. Living close to a busy railroad even at night time, I invested in new windows to reduce the noise. I was clearly informed by the technician/sales person that while the windows were not entirely soundproof, they would reduce the noise by up to 60%. Based on this assurance, I signed up for the installation of 9 windows at a cost of $13,000,with no downpayment and the first payment due in 12 months, interest free for the first year. I was truly excited about thus investment and looked forward to a quieter home environment especially at night. However, after the installation on Sep 26, I am deeply disappointed as there seems to be NO noticeable difference in noise levels compared to what I had before aside from the new frames which make the window beautiful. This is quite disheartening given the substancial investment made with the expectation of improved noise reduction. I lost trust in this company and will not recommend .

Taylor Construction Company installed over 20 windows in my home. They were very professional from start to finish. I am very pleased with my windows. In addition, I got to eat some of the best BBQ grilled by the most polite salesperson.

Brett came in and showed us the windows gave us a reasonable estimate for the windows to be installed. The Taylor construction crew came out and installed them a couple weeks later taking due care. The crew also hauled away all debris and the old windows. A couple weeks later after the installation was complete. Brett stopped by to bring us some of the tastiest barbecue that you’ll ever put in your mouth. Great job on the windows! The team knocked out 10 windows in 90 degree heat and my house didnt get over 73 degrees. They look so good and looking forward to having a cooler house this Summer. Bringing a big, awesome, smoked BBQ plate 2 days later was a nice touch too.

About three years ago Taylor Construction installed ten windows on our back porch overlooking the lake that we live on. The quality and price of the window installation was great, plus we got delicious BBQ from Brett. We just have replaced five more windows in our bedrooms, bathroom and living room. We had a 52 year-old leaky shower so we contacted Taylor Construction and they sent out the most pleasant sales rep I’ve ever dealt with, Robb Balentine. He was extremely professional, He took photographs of everything and explained the installation in great detail. The workers were professional, courteous and finished in a day!!! Taylor Construction did an awesome job installing my new shower! From beginning of the process to the end of installation I am very pleased. The technician arrived at the time he said he would arrive. He worked very efficiently and was diligent in making sure he didn’t leave stains or trash behind after the job was done. He made sure at every step to make sure areas of my install were what I wanted. I am thoroughly enjoying my new shower and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Brett was very helpful with helping us pick out our new windows! We love that they have a lifetime warranty. If we ever need other windows replaced we will get them replaced with Taylor Construction. Brett also cooked us amazing Bbq to celebrate. Thank u so much!!

David was very knowledgeable on the task at hand. Helpful in so many ways. Kept great Communication and fast response through out the process. Only situation was the door was hard to get cause of the size( very small shower) , David did try to assist in getting the door taken care of , that did not happen however he did take that off the bill right away. The installers Roman and Alex were awesome! Very polite and courteous to my wife. Had a problem with the p-trap and they fixed it.

I first met with Donald Cunningham who came to my home and gave me full display of all his products. Was blown away by his transparency and making things very clear and simple to me. This is in contrast to a window makeover company I used last year. I just wanted to get rid of rotting wood, Donald broke down for me how their windows will impact my quality of life and my electricity bill. Settled on changing the windows in back of my home. They look great. It was instantly more quiet and cooler in my living room blocking out this GA summer heat. Going to finish some more windows soon.

Brandon is an outstanding ambassador for Southern Industries/Kohler. He was prepared, articulate, professional, extremely courteous and authentic. Brandon delivered a very comprehensive presentation, listened well and gave informed and genuinely candid answers to questions and concerns we had. The installation was white glove with the techs calling ahead, arriving on time, working professionally, clearing and cleaning as the install moved along, and leaving after a great looking install and the surrounding area looking like nothing ever happened here all day long. Brandon was back at our home for an after-hours inspection and to gage our satisfaction which to us was above and beyond the call of service. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Southern Industries.

Brett was one of the best salesmen I've ever encountered.....really....he is professional, funny, kind, informative as well as knowledgeable. This review is only based on my interaction with him. I have not had the windows done yet; therefore, I cannot comment on quality and/or workmanship of the product at this time. UPDATE: The install team came out as promised, completed the job and removed all debris. They did an outstanding job and I’m so glad I committed to this particular company. I’m not easily pleased; however, hands down, Brett delivered on his promise!!

Needing gutters on our new home. First pic is before an second is after. Was very pleased with the work an how thay look. It had been a very wet week before thay came out so I was expecting the yard an my flowerbeds to be all messed up. But the workers took care an i could not even tell thay were here except the gutters were up. Very happy that I did not have to clean up after the workers. Which I have had to do with every other company to put in my new home. Thanks again the gutters are great.

Bre was awesome! Very pleasant and helpful to work with. I can’t say anything negative about my experience with her. I hope to have the opportunity to work with her again. I don’t know if this is the place but i need to comment on the actual work. The job was completed in a very professional and timely fashion. I’m overall satisfied with the job but I had one issue. My doorbell was originally hardwired through the doorframe. I expected the same with the new frame. Instead, the installer tucked the wires between the frame and the vinyl siding. Making reinstalling the doorbell problematical. When I voiced my concerns to the installer (although a very nice guy), he argued with me and gave me excuses rather than fixing the issue. I was at work during the installation, so couldn’t inspect the work before they completed and left. When I got home, I found a way to adequately mount the doorbell to the door frame, but I have exposed wires on the side where there used to be no exposed wires at all. I love the work and hope to do more in the future. I just have to make sure I’m there during the installation.

Brett gave us great advice, and got us the best price to replace all the windows in our home. The install crew did an amazing job. They were machines! They got 16 windows installed in a single day! We LOVE them! Brett celebrated our business by bringing by some of his famous pulled pork bbq! Unbelievable!

Lexie did a great job making sure we were quoted exactly what we wanted. She even showed up during the install process to answer any questions that we had with the installers. Also want to mention Matt the installer. He was very knowledgeable highly skilled and did an amazing job with our project. There were several structural surprises with our home that came about throughout the install in the team at Southern Industries, work through it, and made it happen, and it highly manner. We had two showers remodeled and a matching backsplash around our garden tub.

We love our new windows. The install is as quick and clean. Brett was awesome to work with and even delivered yummy bbq.

Brett did an exceptional job on the sales demo. The installation was smooth and quick. The crew was very fast and ensured all debris was removed. We had a wind storm and cold snap 2 days after installation. Windows are beautiful and we already see a difference from our 24 year old windows. No air leaks or drafts! Thank you Brett and company!

Brett, from Taylor Construction is the best! He provided great insight, knowledge and suggestions on meeting our window needs. Let’s not forget delivering some of the best BBQ around! The Window install, measurement double check and follow up went just as explained in what would happen during next steps. From the first meeting where we purchased our windows to the installation was only about 1 months time. Super quick delivery and install! The crew that installed the windows were very quick and professional. Did a great job cleaning up behind themselves before they left. They were on time and called letting me know when to expect them which is very appreciated. Overall a 10 out of 10.

Amazing company!! I had my meeting with Brett and he was very professional. I got my windows ordered, and everything arrived within the promised time. The crew that came out to install them was incredibly professional and polite. They worked fast and efficiently. I could not be more happy with the final product!! My windows look amazing and as a bonus, I got some wonderful homemade BBQ from Brett after the project was complete! The cherry on top to a wonderful experience!

We had Taylor Construction replace 9 of our outdated and old windows back in January and what a difference it has made with a much better look and No More Drafts!! Brett was our salesman and did an Excellent job with sales and showing us their products. They came out and measured on one visit no hassles or problems. Installers were on time.. fast and very friendly!! Whole removal and new windows all in one day!! Great Job to all that had their hands on our Home improvement project!! Great quality workmanship! The ultimate gutter guard gutters look fantastic and improved the look over our old out of style gutters. In the past i would have to get on our 3 story roof (4 at the peak) to clean our open gutters. I had bought gutter screens from home depot but pine straw would stack on them and i would have to get up there to remove them. Had to do that 3 times a year. My wife and parents would worry about me so we got these. My parents had them installed 4 years ago on their house same company and they have worked great for them. i wish i had before pictures. Our old gutters where rusting and bent just unsightly. These look like a million bucks! The black added some “pop!” A nice trim look to our house! I failed to get photos of the rear of the house but it looks just as awesome as the front! Installers where prompt and got the work done in half a day. I had a little over 100’ installed. They created the gutters on site. Interesting to watch as the machine make them. The installers where friendly. They tied them into our pvc in ground drain system perfectly! The sales guy Clay was super friendly and listened to our concerns and really worked with us. He was very respectful and on time.

Taylor Construction installed new windows on my condo in October 2021! I have never been more satisfied!!! Esteban, Marcelo and crew did an amazing job in one day!! Hands down the BEST!!!

Brett was excellent at showing us what a great product and service they provide. We got an awesome deal on new windows for the entire house. There were 19 windows in total installed in less than 3 hrs, it was so fast I wasn’t able to see them being replaced. And of course, Brett came by to check the work and also bring the famous BBQ that he showed pictures of during his first visit. The windows look great, the house looks beautiful and we are saving on bills. We couldn’t be more happy that we went with Taylor, we definitely recommend them.
