Mayday Pest Control

I had a wonderful experience with the Mayday Pest Control team for the exclusion of squirrels in our attic. Jonathan is unbelievably knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work. He did a thorough inspection and accurately identified our problems that another company had missed. Also, Jonathan spent a lot of time explaining the issues to us and was extremely patient when we followed up multiple times for additional questions. Tim, the technician to install the exclusion, is highly professional and works really hard. It is an amazing team that I highly recommend.

Initial service has been excellent. I contacted Mayday for possible rodents in our attic and exclusion. While it was in no way an emergency, Jonathan (inspector/estimator) arrived less than 2 hours after my initial call and was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. He took a lot of time to explain the process and options. The next day, Tim (exclusion technician) arrived, set traps and completed the entire exclusion process. He was also extremely polite and professional.<br><br>The process has a few more weeks to go to ensure all pests are cleared, but so far I have been extremely happy with Mayday.

**UPDATE**<br><br>Unfortunately, after just 6 months of signing my contract with this company, I have to take away my 5 star review and update my review to express how unsatisfied I am with Mayday!<br><br>Everything was great the first visit, haven't had too much of an issue with insects since.... But the customer service lacks with this company. I signed up for quarterly visits and pay $33 a month, every month on auto pay... Missed no payments, but they literally only made the first visit and didn't schedule anymore after until January. I was also shocked they don't offer rodent control other than an exclusion service which I was quoted at over $2000 to complete, and they barely answer the phone and doesn't seem return phone calls! I'm over it. I have cancelled my contract and I'm hoping I'll get a refund (which I was told I'll receive)..... I'm gonna go with another company. I’ve been very impressed with Mayday. They did a more thorough inspection after I called them out for a second opinion, and they won the job. They scheduled the repair and trap set up quickly and it was finished in a few hours.

From start to finish, Mayday was amazing. I received a phone call shortly after I put in a request for service, they were able to come out the same day for an estimate and determined that I had flying squirrels in my attic. Micheal completed the work 3 days later due to the holiday, he was very thorough. I am very pleased with the service thus far.

I initially spoke with Tiffany at the office who arranged for Jonathan Little to come out and explain the complete exclusion process and the pricing. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions which I had many. He did an inspection took pictures of my attic and emailed them to me in the proposal. The pictures showed a trail in the insulation where squirrels had been. I agreed to exclusion process, since I had found 3 dead mice on traps in my laundry room downstairs. I set up the appointment for the exclusion and was told Tim would be the technician. Tim Vaughn must truly be one of their best technicians in my opinion. He arrived on time ready to start the sealing process around the roof line, seal around the exterior of the house, placed traps in the attic and especially sealed off my chimney and fireplace which was definitely an entry point for mice. Thanks MayDay Pest Control your entire team has helped me get my sanity back. I can now sleep without hearing chewing in my walls. Job well done!!

I’ve been with Mayday since 2018. They took care of my old house and I moved the HOA contract to them. I recently moved to a new house and I had them do a full exclusion. They started off so great. The service folks are still great. But the office changed over a couple of years ago. And it leaves a lot to be desired. They don’t answer the phone unless you call multiple times. No call backs after leaving voicemails. I just had a no call/no show on Thursday. I called and left a voicemail on Friday. I never heard back from them. I feel like I made a mistake continuing with them. Frankly, if another company would honor the exclusion warranty I’d probably make a change.<br><br>I gave the rating I gave strictly because the service people are stellar!

Michael did a great job. He was fun to work with and I would definitely use him again.

There was a dead rodent or something in my attic. My Handyman had searched and said there was nothing. However, the odor persisted so I called Mayday. They were very thorough in their inspection and reported that they didn’t see anything, or smell anything. They were professional and kind. Mayday has been super diligent about making sure our home is secure and free of unwanted pests! Tim was very professional, friendly, and did a really thorough job at sealing up additional areas that weren’t previously done. My experience with Mayday has been extremely sub par. They have changed and cancel multiple visits. They have not returned my phones calls and typically don't answer the phone. They have also not finished the work at my house that was contracted and paid for on time.

I had at least 2 (possibly more) squirrels in my attic. Jonathan Little from Mayday Pest Control came out to my house to assess the situation. He explained in detail what is going on and provided photos along with a detailed description of how Mayday will solve the problem and provide a lifetime warranty. I am having them come back and do the work in 2 days. Jonathan and Mayday were upfront with the cost and there was no pressure to proceed, just consultative service advice. Much appreciated! I highly recommend them if you need to rid any pests in your home.

I’ve been very pleased with our experience! From the start, MayDay was responsive and quick to get out to our house. They sealed up around our attic and worked with us to provide a humane way to rid our attic of flying squirrels (one way door). They were very quick to get the work done and even followed up on their own to come out to check if the critters had left. Once they had, they disinfected our attic and now we’re good to go! Again, their communication and response time was great…they’d even send texts letting us know how far out they were from our house. They also offer financing, so that was super helpful too. Highly recommend!

I called Mayday for help with some unidentified flying bugs that had invaded my apartment this summer. They were extremely responsive! I got confused and made a mistake, and inadvertently missed my initial appointment. They were SO kind about it and got me rescheduled for first thing on Monday after the weekend. Exceptionally professional and kind communication.<br><br>Furthermore, the technician was highly knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing, gave me a few follow-up steps to adhere to, and worked very quickly. I have literally not seen a single one of these flying nuisances in the 24 hours since he left. I am blown away by the effectiveness of the treatment provided and the professionalism of this company. Moving into a new home had its complications and frustrations after a few visits from Mayday pest control and their team & I feel a load has been lifted. They fixed our chronic ant problem! We had ants everywhere and usually go with the DIY option, but after fighting back the ant army for a couple of weeks, we knew it was time to call the professionals when my wife had an ant crawling across the lens of her glasses one evening. I called and they came out in a timely fashion. The tech was professional very knowledgeable. They laid down odorless bait in the problem inside areas and did a thorough spraying outside the home. The tech even took care of some lingering spider webs and hornet nests. The ants were all over that bait that first night and following day and now no more ants crawling on my family members. Since our house is in Georgia, I’m sure I’ll see more ants in the future, but I’ll definitely be calling Mayday

The tech Scott A. arrived on time and worked efficient. He was kind and professional. Sprayed outdoor insect/pest barrier for my home, removed hard to reach spider webs, and asked if we needed any areas addressed indoors. My services so far have been above expectations compared to other pest companies I have used. A+++

Don,t waste your time and money on Mayday they quite halfway through our contract saying there was nothing else they could do. My daughter over heard them talking to the owner about the in infestation not very professional. to be overheard by my daughter.Our appointments were scheduled at the end of the day and they were often out of traps to service us until the next visit, When I complained about a technician that neglected to go into the attic to check on traps I was told they have frequent complaints about him, then why is he still working with them. I decided to do what I could, I went to Home depot spent One hundred and eighty dollars and we are rodent free. I think we should be compensation for the last half of our contract but they would not return my calls.I am a 68 year old widow and did what the company could not. Skip this company save your money and find someone who dose what they say they can do..

Had a scheduling snafu but Cesar was still able to come by and treat our house that day! Very responsive and answers all of my questions. Highly recommend.

I meant to write this a while ago, but I hired Mayday Pest Control to take care of a pest issue in December 2024. I live in a duplex, and my neighbor also hired Mayday so we would be able to handle the issue quickly. After several months of communication and visits from Mayday they kept saying "one more week" and they never fully got the rodents out of my ceiling and attic. The rodent easily tore through the deterrents they put up. At the end of February, we had a huge leak in the ceiling from rats chewing through our pipes. The pest chewed through over $8,000 worth of plumbing in my ceiling. The issue is ongoing, and I had the ceiling repaired ($4500) after Mayday said it was unlikely to happen again the rats chewed through even more plumbing, and the damage happened all over again. I was incredibly disappointed in this outcome, and I wish they had bowed out of the project when they knew they were in over their heads. Think hard before you hire Mayday. This lack of judgment on their end has caused over well over $10,000 and repairs are not complete. All employees of the company were kind.

I'm very happy with MayDay Pest Control. Not only are they very efficient and professional, they are friendly and go above and beyond and answered all my questions. I had alot of them! I highly recommend this company!!

My experience with Mayday Pest Control has been excellent. They showed up early, gave me a great price that beat most competitors, sprayed inside and outside, and added mosquito control so I don't get stung every time I go outside. This was my second treatment with them, and since the first treatment, I've only seen a few insects inside, and that was only recently, so Quarterly treatments seem perfect. Highly Recommend! Andy, was our service technician today. We have been battling an ongoing problem with discovering how rodents continue to get into one room in our basement. Andy who presented as a very competent, polite, informed young man, enthusiastically performed the task at hand. First he inspected the perimeter of my house. After careful inspection, he discovered several areas where he believes the rodents may have been nesting and plugged the holes.

I am a new customer, and cannot say enough about how courteous and professional everyone has been. After my initial treatment; I discovered a carpenter bee problem on my porch. I received prompt follow up, a new appointment, and Josh came out to provide excellent service. He was kind, thorough, and informative. He took care of the issue, and let me know what to look out for. Definitely recommend this company for your pest control needs.

We had some pest in the attic so we hired these guys to come out. Everyone who has visited our home from the folks who quoted the job, to the folks who removed the pest and prepared the house, to the representatives that they have sent out since then to check on a few things have been awesome! Today we had Tim out to check our dryer vent because it looked like we had a critter try to get in there. The removal service ain't cheap I'm going to tell you but part of it guarantees that they will check and remove anything that might get into your residence for a full year after the service. Tim was happy to come out today and check our vent. He was very pleasant just like all of the other guys before him. I would highly recommend this service to anybody who values quality service people in your home who seem to want to do a good job to solve your problems.

Cami and Angel have been fantastic to work with. I started using them this summer on several properties and they have never once let me down. I will refer MayDay to anyone possible, I trust their service that much.

Super disappointed in the lack of customer service and care from this company. We hired them and paid them a significant amount of money to take care of rodents that had found their way into our home in November of 2022. STILL to this day they haven't caught a single rodent, don't seem to care that they haven't caught one, and we are still have issues with rodents in our home. My family is frustrated, disappointed, and truly sad that this company doesn't back up the services they "promised."

We used Mayday pest for a wildlife exclusion service (squirrels in attic). A few months later we heard squirrels again. We had another service agent out to check. After a very short inspection, he said he didn’t find any evidence of squirrels. I asked to send another tech. Tim Vaughn, their best technician came out, throughly walked and checked the attic, found squirrel feces and 2 open holes, he showed us everything and patched up holes the same day. Then he took the time to completely check the whole Perimeter and realized they didn't seal off the tall side of the house. He was honest and came back the next day to seal the whole Perimeter... If it wasn't for his attention to detail and real care and love of his profession, I would have never known and he fixed everything. Thanks Tim Vaughn!

Mayday came and gave me a quote to seal the roof and trap squirrels in attic. The quote was $1600 less than the previous quote from another contractor. Andy came the next day and did an amazing thorough job. Very nice well mannered young man. I would definitely recommend.

Don’t waste your time looking for another pest control company. These guys are legit and the best you’ll find in ATL. Genuine, professional, knowledgeable, and well versed in customer service. Also, I’m kind of shocked at how reasonably priced they are compared to other companies.

Made an appointment a week ahead of time with Travis and he NEVER showed up or called. When I called the office to let them know he never showed up the person who answered the phone acted OBVIOUSLY to what was going on and had the audacity to ask me if it was May Day Pest Control that was scheduled. My response to her was how would I know that Travis was an employee with your company. Therefore I definitely had the correct May Day Pest Control Company.I told her they were VERY GOOD UNPROFESSIONAL DISRESPECTFUL and I WILL NOT EVER use their company or refer them.. VERT TASTEFUL AND TACKY.<br>Instead of taking accountability she acted idiotic and uncaring!!!

So far we've had a great experience with Mayday. We were helped by Nick Parker who was very understanding of my preferences and couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. He went above and beyond to communicate with us before and during the process and when he left I felt that we received the best service possible. I'm hoping to continue to use Mayday for our home long-term.

So far I've had a great experience with Mayday! I'm a new client, but Travis was very kind and I felt heard when I told him some of the pest issues we were having - he made sure in our initial quote to address our carpenter bee issue (which was really stressing me out!). Then we had Justin come over to do the initial general pest control and termite control - Justin was so knowledgable and professional. He too addressed all my concerns with our newly purchased home and provided a great education on some need-to-know things! I have not had any routine treatments done yet with Mayday, but I don't suspect there will be any issues moving forward - Travis was awesome at communicating with me during the initial sign up process and Justin could not have been more helpful when he came to do the treatments. Very pleased so far!

Mayday has been very.helpful in getting rid of our critters from our attic and basement. We have had wonderful continuous service from them as we have had major improvements made on the house and may have exposed new pathways into our attic. They are quick to respond and fix the problem. So, do your neighborhood squirrels use your covered gutters as a seasonal racetrack and cozy home for nest building? Well, those pesky critters have been thwarted because of the great service provided by MayDay Pest Control. Tim Vaughn came out today and did a very thorough job of finding the entries into my gutters, clearing out the squirrels' nests and sealing up/covering possible entry points with the right mesh etc. Not to mention making sure all of those furry guys were out and on there way. Tim was very friendly, professional and thorough. He let me know his arrival time when in route. And the office staff was great at scheduling an appointment so this could be addressed before my home is to be prepped and painted next week. I have been with MayDay for more than 10 years and will continue to use/recommend them.

From making the appointment to the last trap inspection the people at MayDay pest control were wonderful. From Cammie in the office to TJ, Drew and Tim, they all were professional and did an excellent job.

May Day has done what they said they would do. Good results with treatment for insects, and on-time visits on the scheduled day. I like the e-mail and text reminders for the next scheduled treatment, and the text saying they are on their way.

Mayday Pest Control was a pleasure to work with and they saved me $4000!<br><br>I discovered I had a rat / squirrel problem in both my attic and crawlspace and initially called Orkin to come out and give me a free inspection / quote. They came, did their work, and told me that to seal all critter holes up, lay down traps, clean, sanitize, and replace ALL of the insulation in my attic (insulation was brand new), it would be $6000.<br><br>Orkin had told me it was very bad and that it needed to be treated immediately. They got me to sign a contract to do the work, but shortly after I called Mayday to come do an inspection just so I could get another opinion.<br><br>At the end of the Mayday inspection, Mayday had quoted me only $2100 to do essentially the same work that Orkin had said they would do!<br><br>Mayday arrived within the next 2 days to seal up all entrances into my attic and crawlspace and lay traps. Our Mayday Tech (TJ) went above and beyond by cleaning our gutters, blowing off all leaves / debris on our roof, and even bringing our garbage bin from the curb!<br><br>Once they dont catch any critters for 2 weeks in a row, they will come back and do the cleaning / sanitization.<br><br>Mayday was and has been a pleasure to work with and I will be using them for all pest control problems moving forward!

I contacted MayDay when I moved into my home in 2020. The service was exclusion when the exterminator found bats in the attic. They sealed the house and excluded the bats and I have not had that problem again. Once a year in spring I have them come and check to make sure they haven't returned. The price was very reasonable and there is a 5 year warranty.

Received a referral for this company and used them for wildlife exclusion. They came in and closed the builder's gap along my roofline and sealed all potential points of entry for squirrels/birds/raccoons/etc.<br><br>I didn't have an active issue but they still set traps just to be certain and were diligent about coming to check the Traps. I was pleased with the level of service provided as well as the warranty on the work.

Mayday stands by their work! I hired Mayday 13 years ago for pest exclusion for my attic. The work came with a lifetime guarantee, which I understand is no longer offered. Regardless, when I noticed a small section of soffit had been compromised, Mayday came right out and happily resolved the vulnerability. I admire a company with such integrity.

We had a major squirrel issue in our attic. They got them out quickly and sealed up a bunch of entry points for us. The value was better than most and the company was great to deal with.

Mayday Pest were really great to work with. Not just did they know how to do a job well, they really followed up after the initial job was done. They came whenever I called and provided great recommendation and even did some of the work themselves. Highly recommended.

They did a full exclusion service form me including: squirrel and mice trapping, sealed all entry points and installed drip edging, cleaned all droppings from my attic and sterilized/deodorized, fluffed the insulation I had left and topped me off with new insulation, and then did the carpentry work to seal and paint the damaged fascia and soffit. The price was very reasonable and they did everything that they said they would do, like clockwork. Steve, Sherman, TJ and Jenelle were all outstanding!

Mayday Pest Control handled the exlcusion of wildlife (rats mainly) that was getting into my attic. They did a very good job of sealing the entire roof line with galvanized steel flashing. I haven't had a problem with wildlife in my attic since the job was done 4 years ago.

We've used Mayday for years and have always had great service from the techs and the office. We've done pest control with them, termite, mosquito and they even bat-proofed our attic. Solid company with great customer service.

I have used them for my house for so many years whatsoever they have canceled my service for no reason. I have call 3 times and the lady said doesn’t know why they canceled my account. I kindly asked her to reinstate my account and she said will call me back. 3 weeks with 3 calls and still did not give me any call back. I asked to speak to the owner( the person that helped me at the beginning of the service) and she said doesn’t know him. Ok … it’s the worst customer service I’ve ever had. The technicians are kind and knowledgeable but they should change the phone operators.
